"I'm excited that San Francisco’s acclaimed, small-batch artisans Dandelion Chocolate are expanding to the Venetian, promising a “world-class, high-touch chocolate experience.” They’re currently hiring for a Las Vegas café that will serve coffee, hot chocolate, frozen drinks and in-house pastries, and will include a retail outlet for bars, caramels, ganache and gift sets imported from their Mission District factory in San Francisco. Their products are made with only cocoa beans and cane sugar, offered in 70% or 85% cocoa intensity, and are sometimes upgraded with ingredients such as black tea, raw almonds, wildflower honey and warm molasses; one notable creation, the “Kokoa Kamili,” pairs green grapes, sourdough bread and chocolate gelato. Paperwork places the store close to the Venetian’s front desk in the ornate lobby leading to the casino floor, though no official expansion announcement or opening date has been released; curious fans can currently pick up bars at the Wynn Las Vegas retail store or Lolli & Pops at Fashion Show." - Bradley Martin
