* I’m officially a matcha bro* I was across the street googling “Coffee near me” and it said this spot was 250ft away. I walk into this spot Emerald by A.G Cook is playing matching the mellow feel of this spot and boom parking enforcement comes and tells me move my car before I get a $93 ticket! WIN!! I ask the barista to make me his three favorite drinks. So I’m not 100% sure what I got but me and buddies were all happy with our drinks.

$10 pistachio strawberry matcha Had a light strawberry syrup taste with an even lighter taste of pistachio. Vibes are weird when you walk in and the customer service was none "hey whats up" after I said good morning. Anyways, the atmosphere and the service match the location

Excellent place to buy coffee. Dayglow and Kumquat are probably two of the best coffee reseller. They curate a wide selection of coffee and dayglow also roast some beans. They serve modern espresso and filter coffee, and have more emphasis on lighter roast coffee to showcase the coffee origin and processing. I ordered r06/r07 this visit, they are panama coffee and rare varietals (like maragogipe). The brewing technique is outstanding and the coffee was very nice. The flavor description was quite accurate - good acidity, great sweetness, and a caco finish. I highly recommend checking out this place if you are into lighter roast, modern coffee. They also offer a wide selection of options so you can pickup beans that can be quite expensive to buy yourselves (e.g coffee from European countries)

Latte is okay for the price of $6.5. But the dudes that work here probably think they’re cooler than everyone else… the attitude was not friendly at all lol

Not cheap but you can see why you pay more and it’s so worth it! The Totoro was heavenly I nearly went back for a second one! Absolutely beautiful crafted drinks in a very purple setting!

Awesome coffee. Uber awesome chocolate donuts. Cool colorful location. I highly recommend the chocolate donuts. They seriously are the best chocolate donuts in Los Angeles. Super moist and super chocolatey. Meter parking or free parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Wasn’t a fan of the service or my matcha latte. I’ve been to the other location before and the service and atmosphere there was a lot better.

Probably my favourite of the Dayglow locations in LA, it's a bit out of the way with not too much else going on (other than Awan next door) in the area. There's indoor and outdoor seating, not too busy and all the normal drinks that Dayglow offer including their "coffee creations"(Totoro is my fave). It's pretty expensive as coffee drinks go, but kind of worth it. At least that's what I tell myself. 😅

Dayglow & Awan popped up unexpectedly in our hood a few months ago, so we tried both right away. With the crowds dying down and calling attention we somewhat forgot about both until recently while walking the pup. Stopped by today to restock my beans at home. Very extensive & unique selection of coffees from around the world. Bought the Nacimiento Pacas, from Honduras, roasted in Norway. Say what?! Can't wait to try. The barista was super helpful in a chill way and offered a free drip with our purchase of the beans, which he grinded course, as requested. He also made the best, iced Mendls Peppermint Mocha. It has a mocha base with a lavender colored peppermint foam on the top, garnished with peppermint flakes. Truly phenomenal. They also have cute tables set up on the curbside on Melrose. After this visit, we won't forget to come back.

Coffee 5/5: caffeine works so well, and it did not give me the coffee jitter. This was a great discovery, will for sure be coming back! Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 - minimalistic purple, love the vibe.

Dayglow features some exceptional pour-over coffees on this first visit. They feature a variety of beans that apparently change and rotate every so often. Tried: Dayglow, United States R03 (Columbia). Delicate, nutty, tart, nice medium coffee notes. Kawa, France (Finca Milan, Columbia). Yowzers! This was amazing, with coconut, "creamy" vanilla notes, and their menu said it's like a "milkshake." After tasting it, I think I'd agree. Great pour-over!

Stark ambiance with limited indoor and outdoor seating clearly less of a place to spend anytime. Nonetheless incredible coffee. All too quickly and incredible unique flavors created perfectly with very kind barista.

A beautiful friendly spot that makes excellent matcha - both hot (matcha americano style) and cold (matcha latte). They know what's good. Andy is awesome!

This place is great fun. Second time visiting with numerous choices of unique coffee creations. My Hojicha tonic was smooth and refreshing. Forgot what my son ordered but it was very tasty as well.

This place has a wild array of coffee choices and the baristas are funny/ know their stuff. 10/10 recommend, it'll be my new local place I go to

The coffee here is outstanding! I absolutely love their Matcha too, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have so many innovative drinks, much more variety than any other coffee shop! Great service, super friendly, and welcoming, and drinks are made to order quickly. Highly recommended!

Small location but still so cute. They have street parking outside and a couple tables. Even though there was only one barista she was able to get everyone's drinks out promptly and was so nice too! The strawberry matcha is amazing, I must say I'm going to have to come back for it.

Dayglow is simply outstanding! Every drink I've tried there has been consistently excellent. From its chic, modern design to the meticulously curated drink menu, Dayglow ranks among the best coffee shops in my book. My absolute favorite is the Totoro--it's a delightful treat! This dessert coffee balances flavors perfectly; the black sesame isn't overpowering, and the coconut foam topping is a revelation. It's a refreshing and indulgent cup all at once. Another standout is the Warhol 2.0, which quickly became a favorite after a barista's recommendation. Originally opting for the regular Warhol with oat milk, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the 2.0 version is just as delicious, but vegan-friendly thanks to its rich coconut cream. It offers the exact same great flavor profile, catering perfectly to lactose-intolerant coffee lovers. Overall, Dayglow's attention to detail in both ambiance and drinks selection makes it a must-visit for any coffee aficionado.

A different kind of coffee shop! Very BARista like vibe and drinks. The inside has limited seating but outdoors has tables. Very unique and strong bold flavors. Love the non-dairy choices they offer!

The iced vanilla oat milk latte was delicious!!! Looks like they had a cool selection of other beverages too!

Was in LA over the weekend and was super excited to check out Dayglow. They are know for carrying some of the best roasters beans from around the world. I will say their selection on the menu and the shelves is very very good. I did have 2 cups of delicious pour over off their menu. However the service was soooooo "LA". I was excited to talk coffee and get some recommendations on beans to take with me. The people working couldn't have been less helpful and less interested to talk coffee. I was blown away by how little they knew about the coffee on their shelves and zero help when it came to recommendations. So after spending over $100 on two pour overs and two bags of coffee, I was pretty disappoint with the experience. The pour overs were excellent and one of the two bags of beans is very good, the other was totally forgettable. Super bummed with my Dayglow experience.

This place was so fun, fresh and my matcha was delicious! Parking was not crazy, which is rare and the people working there were nice! They had cream top for their matcha and also a dairy-free version. It's beautiful inside and they have seating outside as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Always a treat. If you love coffee, this is a must stop. A variety of unique creations. You can try something delicious every time you come here. The staff are always nice. Dayglow is on my coffee rotation.

I tried the Cold Coffee and espresso shot. Both were incredibly smooth. The ice cream shop that it's connected to is also a plus. They serve vegan & GF ice cream. The place was bumpin', a good feeling all around. Perfect place to go to on a hot day. Service is always friendly.

The espresso tonic is the best drink on the menu. Love the outdoor seating and the baristas are the best in the biz. Highly recommend for your next coffee run.

Loved the clean minimalist space the lattes are consistently delicious and the tables outside are such a plus to enjoy some sun while drinking your coffee. Friendly staff as well.

Amazing coffee spot! I've been talking to a friend about this place for so long and just went this morning for the first time. First timers NEED to try to the coffee flight. Absolute perfection!
