Daylesford Organic Farm

"There may be Daylesford cafés spread all around London now, but this is the mothership. Found in the heart of the Cotswolds, you enter this stylishly rustic eatery through the farm shop, before dining in a choice of areas: head to the Legbar for charcuterie and nibbles, the Old Spot for pizzas and wood-roasted specials, or the main Trough Café for something a bit more substantial. Everything is organic, with much of the produce coming from the on-site farm and providing a fabulous base for the flavoursome, well-executed dishes." - Michelin Inspector

Daylesford Organic Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"This is the fourth London outpost selling products from the Daylseford farm in Gloucestershire. Downstairs there’s a shop where you can buy expensive organic artichoke, but the all-day café/restaurant on the first floor is where you should go for a coffee, some cold press juice, and a meal when you’re looking for something kind of healthy. Lunch options like pizzas, or their signature chopped salad are fine, but if you’re after something more substantial, their seasonal salads are very good. Getting a few of them beside a main like the venison rump in sage and truffle butter is also a good move. And despite the slightly sterile decor, this is also a great spot to get a laptop out and spend the afternoon ‘working’. photo credit: Daylesford Organic" - Oliver Feldman

The most beautiful garden centre I’ve ever visited Daylesford Garden Centre is, without doubt, the most beautiful garden centre I’ve ever been to. Every detail has been so thoughtfully set up and considered — from the layout and design to the way each item is curated and displayed. What I love most is that everything here has a story rooted in organic, local farming — whether it’s the vibrant cut flowers, the seasonal produce, or even the pots of jam. There’s such a strong sense of care, sustainability, and authenticity that runs through it all. I discovered the geranium candle in the Fox restaurant and couldn’t leave Daylesford without buying one — it smells absolutely delightful and instantly reminds me of the calm and beauty of Daylesford. Also, don’t miss the outdoor coffee spot. It’s the perfect way to take in the scenery and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by nature. A truly special place.

A wonderful afternoon being immersed in the beautiful ambience of Daylesford. It’s like a mini village with lots of different areas to peruse. It’s all dog friendly and they have water bowls for them. We had a light lunch at the cafe which was super delicious. We watched the chef create our rosemary & garlic flat bread. It was fresh and crispy, and we loved it!! The service was very good and professional! We’re looking forward to returning in the future!!

I visited Daylesford Organic out of curiosity, but left with a heavy sense of disappointment. Yes, the setting is elegant and picture-perfect, but much of it felt performative — more about branding than true substance. Prices are steep even for an organic farm shop, and the presence of items like Brooklyn Beckham’s hot sauce (which lacks any visible organic certification) raises questions about how selective the brand really is when it comes to its values. What bothered me more, though, was the atmosphere. As a non-UK national with an accent, I felt quietly looked down on. The difference was subtle but clear — in London, I’ve never felt this way. Here, outside the city, I couldn’t shake the feeling that if you didn’t fit a certain image, you simply didn’t belong. This wasn’t just about customer service — it was the overall attitude. If you’re not part of the target demographic — affluent, local, and polished — you may sense it too. For me, the experience felt more like a curated lifestyle showroom than a genuine, inclusive farm shop. Not worth the detour.

Google
Very unique organic shop and garden centre, restaurant combined. But be ready to spend, as it's very, very very overpriced. A medium sized straw bag (same available on shein for less than £10 cost £60 just for reference. But definitely worth a visit.

Gorgeous experience visiting Daylesford. I actually hadn't heard of it before as I'm not local to the area but a friend recommended it when I happened to be nearby. It is absolutely stunning and full of gorgeous food, wine, plants, interior items that you can spend hours gazing at. Not overly affordable for the average household but worth a visit nonetheless! I had the most delicious almond croissant and cappuccino in a stunning setting. I would recommend arriving early as it got very busy by lunchtime, and book ahead if you want a meal as it was packed.

Google
Fantastic place, it has it all. The shop, the restaurants everything was amazing, the range of stock is absolutely brilliant, anything you can think of, you’ll find. Fresh and mainly organic products. Lovely staff, plenty of space to park. I’m so much looking forward to go back. Highly recommended

Amazing shop/ supermarket/ restaurant/ spa/ gardening. Has it all. A dream shop which all the villages/ tows should have. Has beautiful decoration things. Delicious organic food/ vegetables/ fruit. Has a great Michelan restaurant. Go with time. We need hours to visit everything and enjoy the place. Has Workshops as well. The surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.

This is by far one of the best farm shops I have even been to. It is so bright, clean, and friendly. The choice of organic items is amazing. The staff were very friendly and polite. Lots of parking, which is extremely close to the entrance and has good accessibility for persons with disabilities. You can also eat there in the restaurant. I can not rate this as I didn't go to the restaurant but if it is anything like the shop it will be amazing. I would highly recommend this farm shop if you are near the cotswolds.

Yelp
Daylesford is really an experience. It's located among the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds and is a farm, deli, shop, spa, store, and a lot of other things that I'm sure I've missed. It's high quality, beautiful, and very very posh. We spent a lot of time here just wandering around but I didn't get anything from the spa. Honestly, the furniture/ homeware/ spa is a little too pricey, but I really like the food. I'm willing to pay a bit more for food if I know it's coming from an ethical and local place. Anyway, it's a truly beautiful farm and a great place to stop by if you're in the area.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was lovely, which added to the experience. Great cocktails also. Not to be missed if you're traveling/hiking in the area.

Yelp
Spend the day getting pampered at this organic farm. Come for breakfast and try the delicious selection of fresh fruits and eggs and when you're done treat yourself at the spa which features delicious organic soaps and oils. Before leaving take a walk around the organic food store and pick up some groceries to take home for dinner

Yelp
Great, top quality food served in the restauant area where there is an open kitchen so you can watch your food being made. Staff are polite and professional and a lot of the food is fresh from their organic farm. Dishes are tasty but very pricey. There is also a farm shop where you can buy local produce, the truffle cheese is delightful.

Yelp
Had the most relaxing de-stress massage, the spa was very clean, staff very welcoming and friendly. I have never felt so relaxed after a massage, definitely coming back!

Yelp
Uber chic complex covering restaurant, deli, bar, home & garden shops, cremery, wine shop, spa, furniture shop . you won't be at a loss for things to do and money to spend!! It is not what you would call cheap here. However, it is all in th best possible taste, in fact it;s gorgeous. You won't want to leave. Set in rolling countryside there is ample parking. As you drive up you can see the farmshop ahead of you and also the outdoor seating area for the restaurant. We ate first. Service is good - if a little understated and slow. However the food was wonderful. Obvously all organic cooked on the premises. There is a lovely bar area where you can sit and watch the world go by - you are sure to see a few Wags and their husbands! After lunch take time to potter round all the very tasteful shops. If you like white and cream these shops will be right up your alley. It is lovely tasteful stuff. Through to the back is the new spa area. It looked lovely but I didn't have the time to try!! Meander back through the shops and there is a butcher and a creamery to savour - and spend more of your money. Then finally there is the farmshop and deli for you to fill your car with and enjoy for weeks to come! If you are looking for true indulgence, a day out, somewhere special to take your partner or your mum this is the place for you!

Yelp
My Mum and I had a lunch, which was very tasty but not very generous. I felt compelled to complain and had very good customer service. Companies do make mistakes sometimes and it's nice for one to take ownership and correct what has not gone right. I would just advise you to double-check what you have ordered to see if it will meet your requirements. Apart from this the site is beautiful and there is a lovely range of products so it is well worth a visit.

Yelp
A beautiful place, but......... I took my partner here today for lunch as a special treat as he is always spoiling me. At first my thoughts were "WOW" what an amazing place, clean, fresh, good layout and design, décor was also top notch. We had a wander around and the goods were of excellent quality, but nothing that caught my eye. We then sat down for lunch around 1pm, I should have guessed by how empty it was, that the prices were going to be a little high, but I would rather pay more for quality and be satisfied. The staff were polite and attentive which is what I expected from my waiting staff when I ran my own eatery. We looked over the menu and we found them very confusing with numbers which we found out later were the prices not the Chinese order numbers. We settled on the Ploughman's and at £16 per head we were expecting something over and above a pub lunch, however, even though it was nice, we were not impressed, a pub version is much, much better. The small slither of cheese was beginning to show signs of drying out, the Endive was looking a tad limp, there was one quarter of a tomato, half a boiled egg, a thin slice of pork pie, and the ham was not worth the effort to slice and there was not even a pat of butter for the dry bread. The consolation was the sour dough bread with Olive Oil, this was delicious and warm and came with a small pat of butter that again was not worth taking out of the fridge for, our waiter, however, did bring us some more. We then had a pot of tea each, mine was Earl Grey and I have to say, I have had much better, but, it was piping hot. When the Bill arrived I was not shocked to see it. I was however disappointed to see they had added an optional service charge, I paid it as the waiter was very helpful. I was going to spend some money in the farm shop, but on reflection I decided not too due the cost of our meal. I left feeling I had been defrauded, I like openness and honesty with a company, but I felt things were a little shady. It was a pleasant afternoon and we tried it, but it will not be going on my list for "Ladies who Lunch" club. We work very hard for our money and I feel that it should be spent on a business that needs our money. Trick me once, shame on you, trick me twice, shame on me. Sorry, but will not be back. A beautiful place, but.........
