daymoves is like your third apartment - you still scrounged the furniture but you used some discrimination... some of your dishes match... you have alcohol and it's more than cheap tequila and vodka... the stereo is amazing....
I went to Williamsburg specifically to come here and walked right past. The sign is a small piece of painted wood at the base of a scrawny ficus on the sidewalk. The entrance is down a long, long hallway. Hint: it's behind Four Horsemen.
Why go? It's a new cafe, the space is ridiculously cool without trying too hard, they use good coffee from good roasters and will get better at preparing it, James Murphy co-owns it so the sound quality is excellent the music selection today was nuts: side one of Blue Sunshine, the one-off album by The Glove, a Robert Smith and Siouxie Sioux project from what, 1983?
