"The restaurant opened a second location in Clarkston on Sept. 18 in a former combination KFC/Taco Bell building with 56 seats and a drive‑thru window (temporarily functioning more as a walk‑up until permits are finalized). Owner Matt Coggin moved from a difficult two‑story Virginia‑Highland site—citing staffing issues, visibility problems, high rent, and awkward logistics like hauling heavy containers upstairs—and says the new standalone lot in a very diverse neighborhood is a “life change,” with smokers arranged for easier use and less daily strain. The menu keeps the barbecue staples (meats by the pound and sandwiches) and expands tacos into a permanent offering, including a chopped brisket taco with pico and salsa verde on the side, barbacoa made from the fatty side of the brisket, and a pork pibil that functions like a chopped Carolina pork topped with pickled red onions, avocado crema, and cheese; grilled fish tacos are planned. Catering remains based in Chastain Park near Buckhead (about 40 minutes away), though orders placed at the Clarkston spot can be picked up locally.
