"One of the meanings of ‘nôl’ is a contraction of ‘new normal’. Tatsuya Noda’s dream is to care for people and the environment while pursuing a new standard for the future. Perhaps that is why he refers to the dining room as a ‘kitchen space’. Taking cues from his childhood, such as his grandmother’s pickles and his mother’s roasted rice, he interweaves the food cultures of France and Japan. Meals conclude with vegetable soup to settle the stomach—a fun novelty that won’t be forgotten." - Michelin Inspector

DDD Hotel (Tokyo, Tokyo) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Concealed within a nondescript brick tower in Chuo City, one of Tokyo’s principal business districts, the DDD is in fact a chic, impeccably modern luxury hotel. “Design, Development, and Destination” are the source of the monogram; guests are invited to reboot in an environment of contemporary minimalism, aided by Parcel, an art gallery featuring exhibitions of contemporary works. Meanwhile, the DDD’s café and bar aim for the same results via the old-fashioned methods of caffeine and alcohol; Nol, the restaurant, offers thoughtful modern French cuisine, a fine choice for a neighborhood that’s something of a cosmopolitan crossroads." - Tablet Hotels

Highly Recommend! Beautiful hotel in Tokyo that is clean, comforting, and convenient. DDD Hotel is a beautiful hotel in Tokyo — spotless, stylish, and welcoming. The entrance feels luxurious with its signature scent, and the whole hotel has a calm, modern vibe. My room was compact (which is expected for Tokyo) yet spacious enough for two people with two luggages. It also came with plenty of thoughtful amenities, including sleepwear and handy extras by the elevator. The bed and pillows were very comfortable — I slept so well after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was continental buffet style, with a diverse and fresh selection each morning. The location was very convenient for exploring the city, and the pricing felt competitive for the quality offered. The staff were also very warm, helpful, and made the stay feel effortless. A perfect mix of boutique charm and quiet luxury — highly recommend. Truly nothing to dislike, this was my second stay, and I’d gladly choose to stay at DDD Hotel again whenever itinerary allows.

We loved staying at the DDD hotel. The staff were so kind and attentive. Our room was fairly new and very clean. The amenities were nice and our beds were comfortable (in comparison to other hotels in Japan). The location was convenient as it was very close to a train station, however seemed to be more in a business district. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Also they serve great coffee!

Absolutely an amazing stay at the DDD Hotel. The smell of the hotel as soon as you walk in just lets you know everything you need to know about the stay you’re going to have. The room was cleaned with fresh bed sheets, pillows and cover with new towel done everyday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a must stay for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time.

Really clean and minimalistic hotel. There's not much in the area but overall it's a comfortable stay with everything you need. You can't expect spacious rooms in Tokyo so it's not surprising, but I just need a little bit of space so I can open my suitcase on the floor which you can't do in the minimal double room. If you go ahead knowing this already it's a perfect affordable stay but if you don't know it's frustrating.

The hotel is elegant with dark accents. The rooms are small, no television. Bathroom is very comfortable. Has a restaurant and a bar.

My stay at DDD Hotel in Tokyo was a refreshing experience! The hotel perfectly blends modern design with Japanese minimalism. If you’re into clean aesthetics and calm spaces, this is the place for you.The location is great—quiet, yet super convenient. It’s just a short walk to Bakuroyokoyama Station, so getting around the city was a breeze. The neighborhood feels local and peaceful, which I really appreciated after a busy day exploring Tokyo. The room was compact (as expected in Tokyo), but smartly designed. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy, and the vibe of the entire space was calming and stylish. I loved the muted tones and thoughtful layout.

This hotel is simply amazing. The regular rooms are quite small, but that is only comparing to North American standards. Based on NY and Paris hotels, this is a comfortable stay for a couple. This hotel also has a great bathroom when comparing to other big name chains in Japan. Location is quiet with easy train access nearby. Easy to get to when we arrived at Ueno Station, from Narita Airport. The café lounge is top notch, and the ground floor restaurant has a Michelin star. High standards at competitive pricing.

Pros: The room was spacious enough for us. The beds were pretty comfy and had outlets in the bed. The shower was pretty big and had plenty of pressure. The amenities were great as well! They had a kettle, different types of tea, mini chocolates, plates, cups, and more as you get off the elevator to your room. Cons: The kettle we got seemed dirty, so we never used ours.
