DDD HOTEL

We loved staying at the DDD hotel. The staff were so kind and attentive. Our room was fairly new and very clean. The amenities were nice and our beds were comfortable (in comparison to other hotels in Japan). The location was convenient as it was very close to a train station, however seemed to be more in a business district. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Also they serve great coffee!

Lovely and helpful staff! They helped us (foreigners) forward our luggage from the hotel to our Vrbo, which typically hotels do not do. They were always eager to help and took time to help us navigate systems we knew little about. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and there's a cafe right next to it. Great, quiet location next to train lines. The rooms were a bit old, but were still great and did the job!

The photos made the rooms look chic and minimalist, but in reality they're actually kind of grungy. Threadbare carpeting, scuffed and stained walls, and an omnipresent smell hovering somewhere between mildew and sewage. They pipe some kind of strong fragrance in the hallways, which is not unpleasant but it makes you wonder what they're covering up. Good size shower and bathroom. The toilet nook is small and the door opens inward, so you really have to contort yourself to get out - bizarre design. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. Good location - quiet and calm, but still with plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do nearby. Room was a big let-down though.

Second visit, and I'm just as impressed as the first! This hotel is my undisputed favorite. The attention to aesthetic detail is stunning—think minimalist elegance that is also incredibly functional and comfortable. And let's not forget the excellent bar, the ideal retreat after a day of exploration. I recommend it to absolutely everyone looking for a special stay.

We had a great, smooth time at DDD. The room offered everything that we needed, and the location was super convenient for exploring the city. The check in, baggage storage, and check out we're all very smooth, and staff were helpful and friendly. Love the cafe in reception as well! Would highly recommend.

This hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to the Shinjuku and Asakusa metro lines as well as the JR Sobu Line. From the Asakusa Line, it only takes a few stops to reach Ginza and Asakusa Temple. Access to Haneda Airport is also quite easy via the Keikyu Asakusa Line. However, a more comfortable option is taking the Airport Limousine Bus to Tokyo Station and then a short 7-minute taxi ride to the hotel. The café in the hotel lobby serves tasty coffee at a reasonable price, and the overall décor is cozy with a minimal, modern style.One downside was the room on the 3rd floor, which had an unpleasant smell. I asked to change rooms around midnight, and while the staff was very helpful, the new room of the same type on the same floor unfortunately had the same issue. However, I got a cup of coffee for the compensation from the hotel manager after I checked out.

I would most definitely highlight the design and the breakfast, which was great value for money (2400 yen). We liked the quality of sheets, etc. The location is also very good, as there are 3 transportation lines, including JR and direct service to the airport. The drawbacks are: 1) you can’t open a window; 2) little towel hangers in the room.

Absolutely an amazing stay at the DDD Hotel. The smell of the hotel as soon as you walk in just lets you know everything you need to know about the stay you’re going to have. The room was cleaned with fresh bed sheets, pillows and cover with new towel done everyday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a must stay for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time.
