De La Nonna in the Arts District delivers an irresistible pizza experience with its crispy, thick-crusted square pies and a lively, string-lit patio vibe, perfect for casual gatherings or late-night hangs.
"After drawing crowds to parking lots across LA, this former pan pizza pop-up settled into a permanent spot in the Arts District in 2021. The thick-crusted square pies are the restaurant’s specialty, topped with the likes of pepperoni, roasted mushrooms, and Japanese sweet potatoes. The larger space has also allowed the restaurant to expand its menu with dishes like whipped eggplant dip and blistered shishito peppers. With a full cocktail menu, plus wine and beer, it’s easy to find the perfect drink to pair with any pie here." - Rebecca Roland
"Offers square pies and drinks, perfect for sharing." - Rebecca Roland
"Arts District pizzeria De La Nonna is offering a special “Dodgers pack” for those watching the game at home. The $55 special includes two pizzas, a Caesar salad, and a bottle of wine or a 12-pack of Miller High Life. The deal is available now through the end of the World Series." - Rebecca Roland
"De La Nonna is a roaming pop-up that’s serving excellent pies that walk the (OK, probably arbitrary) line between focaccia and pizza. The crust is light and airy, and sprinkled with flaky sea salt, and while they don’t overload it with toppings, you still get plenty of flavor from them. We like their white pie, with roasted fennel, mozzarella, and dabs of pesto, and the Market pie, with a super-herbaceous cream sauce and crispy parmesan. Either way, you can’t go wrong." - brant cox, brett keating
"A weekend pizza party is always advisable, but a weekend pizza party with dogs involved? That’s heaven—and one of the many reasons to never turn down an evening at De La Nonna. This pan-style pizza place in the Arts District essentially operates as one giant patio. There are plenty of tables for you, your friends, and your dog. Get the white pie with sweet potato, fennel, and pesto. " - brant cox
