"This neighborhood Italian cafe on Beverly Blvd. does a low-key brunch on Saturday and Sundays from 10am-3pm. There’s everything from buttermilk pancakes to short rib benedicts to a smoked salmon pizza. Plus, they also do bottomless mimosas and bellinis for $15. There’s a large wrap-around sidewalk patio ideal for watching tourists realize they still have a long walk to the entrance of The Grove." - brant cox

Google
A very cute small coffee place. We were coming down from a hike and needed some coffee. We saw this and stopped by. I also got a breakfast bagel really good. Will come back to try more coffee drinks for sure.

Google
The service was amazing, the girls were great. They had just turned the oven off and my son wanted a croissant and the girls were nice enough to turn it back on just to make it! Definitely recommend this place. Also got their strawberry horchata latte it was delicious. Will definitely come back

Google
This place came up when I looked up the best breakfast sandwich place near me. The breakfast bagel is $12.5 and is solid overall. The real star of the show is their coffee, however. I always get Americano when I visit a new cafe spot since it is a great baseline. Similar to the quality of Kimchi in any Korean restaurants. Wow. I came here for breakfast but their coffee totally blew me away. I am a coffee snob, proudly so. They import their coffee and it is of superb quality. Small place so quite intimate and easy parking on the street. Strongly recommend. I’ll be back for coffee and lunch sandwich next time!

Google
Very solid local POC owned cafe in east Hollywood/Los Feliz area. Incredibly friendly and amiable staff. You can tell by how many regulars they have and the banter they have with them. The inside isn’t too big but it’s very well spaced for maximum seating, even if I’ve never seen it too full. The interior feels very camp-like with its refinished picnic style mini tables. They have quality coffee that’s ethically sourced and make some very delicious drinks with it. My favorite though has got to be the Cafe de Olla cold brew. Probably the best I’ve had, and as a cold brew at that. A great pick me up for mid day. They also make some simple sandwiches that are pretty good and can easily customize something for you if you’re not entirely sure about something on the menu. They also get some local pastries that are really good especially the mini conchas. Overall a friendly cafe worth stopping by and conversing with the locals, catch up on community news if you want or just chill in peace.

Google
The conchas are amazing warmed up! The cafe de olla was delicious! I will be returning for more whenever I’m in the area. It’s a cute little small business, and I’m happy to support.

Google
The coffee is AMAZING! The mexican mocha and tres leches latte are some of my favorites but the cajeta and horchata lattes are really good too. The cafe de olla also! Everything on the menu is super delicious. Hands down our favorite coffee spot in LA! The vibe is really cozy and the owner and staff are always really sweet and welcoming. The coffee is all imported from México and everything on the menu is sooooo so good!

Lauren Nigro

Google
Delicious coffee and food. I had a Tres leches latte and it was fantastic. Tried a sip of the Americano my boyfriend ordered so I could try the coffee without any cream… really smooth flavor. I also tried the pesto sandwich and was not disappointed. The people working here were really nice. I would absolutely come here again.

Google
Such a cozy and welcoming spot! I found this new coffee spot Easter morning. The coffee had the perfect roast flavor, not overdone. The pastry selection was minimum but great for me because I didn’t struggle to make a choice. They do have other food options so those are an option.

Yelp
Beautiful café with a lovely staff! I love supporting small businesses and this family-owned café feels like home when you walk in. I ordered an iced cafe de olla 10/10, it has a light taste to it. Sometimes coffee feels heavy after drinking it, this one is delightful! I also ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich, which they let me substitute the ham for turkey and it was bomb! Another 10/10 De la Tierra Café will definitely see me again (btw they have a rewards program too :))

Yelp
This place is very small but very cozy. The chairs inside were a bit strange and uncomfortable but man was the food a 10/10. I enjoyed this sandwich and the chipotle with chile en vinagre. These two things really put the sandwich together! The people working here are very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I liked how they had pictures of the labor that goes into acquiring they're coffee beans. It's a reminder that supporting a small business is also supporting the labor that goes into the little things. I love supporting a woman owned Latino business anytime!!! I definitely felt safe and welcomed here. They are for the community which i love to see

Yelp
This place is great! The coffee was delicious! The cafe de olla was so good. Maria the Barista was so sweet and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
It is such a joy to support this cafe. The service is consistently amazing, and the staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind (Thank you Ale!). I highly recommend the Mexican Mocha and the Café de Olla, which are both personal favorites. Every item on the menu is delicious, but be sure not to miss the mini conchas and the Mexican sandwich. They are- a chef's kiss! ‍

Yelp
Every sip, every morning is unforgettable. De La Tierra Café (est 2023) is a cozy local coffee with unique drinks, like their signature Cajeta and Tres Leches lattes, which offers a rich taste. It is a family owned and operated cafe that is located on Vermont avenue in Silver Lake. sigh or hood of LA. They have a rustic vibe and intimate setting with soothing background music. On the menu, they have a plethora selection of coffee, non-espresso and breakfast items. The staff were warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. After perusing their menu, I ordered an Avocado Toast with egg and a Cajeta Latte. The breakfast was simple and yet satisfying as well as the latte. Prices were competitive. Ample of street metered parking. Service was spot on. Staff were cordial and professional and good looking. The best part is they offer loyalty card. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed their food/latte. I recommend them.

Yelp
The absolute best cafe de olla around. The owner and the baristas provide wonderful service. Several drink options, and tasty food items. Highly recommend this gem, you will not regret it.

Yelp
The BEST COFFEE in Silverlake comes from this small, cozy, family owned and operated cafe. De La Tierra Cafe has been my favorite for about 3 years now. Their Café de Olla is so so good. It's organic and very flavorful and smooth. Pair this with their turkey breakfast sandwich and you're set. Or try some of their seasonal lattes with these tiny cute baby "conchas" (mini mexican sweet breads). Bring your laptop and do some work or bring a girl and have a chat! The owners are amazing people who have a story and the clientele consists of a balanced mix of locals and out-of-towners. There is always an interesting conversation happening inside! Outside patio is simple and clean, but the best seat in the house is what I call the "love bench" its the table inside that's right in front of the big window that comfortable fits 2. Overall, you get one of the most authentic, organic and high quality coffee as De La Tierra. It does not disappoint.

Yelp
This small family coffee shop is a cute little place to just sit here and enjoy your nice hot cup of coffee aka Cafe de olla. The people were super friendly the food delicious. It's nice to come with this weather right now. You will enjoy it try it out.

Katherine G.

Yelp
Crazy how I have lived around this place and never stopped by until recently. Hands down some really good coffee, but I also gotta give props to the people working here. The owner was so nice and sweet, along with the cashier! Very friendly and welcoming which is appreciated. I still have yet to try other drinks they have available but I will say the coffee is good for what's its worth. These past two drinks have not been overly sweet which I appreciate. And if you love cinnamon, the horchata one will definitely hit the spot :)

Yelp
Tucked in between local businesses on Vermont, De La Tierra Cafe is a cozy and inviting coffee shop with delicious drinks and friendly staff. The staff were extremely attentive and efficient, and the cajeta latte was an 11/10. There are small tables and bar stools to do work or get together with friends. I will definitely be returning. I only wish they stayed open late!

Carlos R.

Yelp
I was hunting on google maps for a new coffee place to try, and this one caught my eye, for its 4.9 starts on google reviews and how close it was to my area. Parking was easy to find in-front of the cafe and around the area as well. I can't lie that the tres leches latte was delicious. As well as the horchata latte *both ice* something that caught my attention was the environment and the design of the place, also very clean and organized. Service was good and all, except for the price, at my usual coffee spots I usually spend around 13 dollars for 2 coffees, as compared to here which 2 medium coffees can add up to 18 dollars, also simple sandwiches can cause up to 14-16 dollars, that's the only reason why I'm giving it 4 starts, I understand everything is expensive but for sandwiches you can get the same quality for half the price at your mom and pop donut shops, aside from the price, I think this place is great, and it's worth to try, I'll come back eventually to try a different drink, maybe their cafe de olla with their conchas. FOR STUDENTS*** If your looking for a place to study I did notice they had charging ports on the tables, I'm not sure if they work but if they do, it's a great plus since it looks like a good place to study, where they don't have loud music.

Yelp
Found my new favorite coffee spot when I'm out in the LA area! The owner and the employees are so nice! The service is great ! I love the ambiance! When I stop by I like to get the sweet bread ! They warm it up for you so it's nice & soft ! I love to eat with my dulce de leche ice coffee! It goes hand in hand! Support your small businesses.

Yelp
Lovely little café that I had no idea existed in my area. The service was exceptional. The coffee wasn't GREAT but I would definitely order it again. The best thing about this place? The mini conchas! They're SO freaking good, and I am quite particular about my conchas. Definitely skip the nearby corporate coffee joints and give this small establishment some love.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stopped for some coffee. I ended up getting a cafe de olla cold brew with oatmilk and she had the cajeta latee. We both really enjoyed our drinks. We also got a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast bagel. All ingredients in both breakfast items went really well with each other. Service and ambiance were great. Chill vibes with good music playlist! Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I discovered De La Tierra almost a year ago so this review is based on a year's worth of visits. First thing is first, the cafe de olla is incredible. I was going to Cafe de Olla in Burbank just to get my fix so I am over the moon that I now have a place within walking distance where I can get my fix. Iced or hot you really can't go wrong. My second favorite is the iced cajeta latte which is neck and neck with the horchata latte. Just thinking about it I am drooling! Maria the owner is such a light and the sweetest of souls. Her welcoming words and character will make you feel right at home and what I like most is that every ingredient comes from Mexico. The space itself is lovely and it's the perfect place to catch up with a friend or just get some reading or work done. If you haven't been, I highly encourage you to the whole menu is delicious.
google avatar

Jannel M.

Yelp
hands down one of the best coffee shops in the area! & I know there's a lot down the street on sunset but none of them compare to how good de la Tierra is. We tried the Dulce de leche latte, the cajeta latte & the tres leche latte. They're all delicious! Even the little conchitas are so yummy and the perfect size!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in visiting from Tucson, grabbed a few sandwiches, and a honey latte. The coffee was AMAZING. It was hard not to get another for the road
google avatar

Yelp
Cozy cafe with the absolute best cold brew Cafe de la Olla! English muffin breakfast sandwich was fresh, tasty, and piping hot. And the warmed up mini concha....yum!!! Friendly and excellent service. Looking forward my next visit. :)

Yelp
Perfect neighborhood coffee spot. Great service! Awesome coffee and tasty food! Will continue to come back.

Yelp
Highly impressed by this woman-owned business. Service is exceptional & there is a loyalty stamp card which awards you a free coffee. The iced tres leches latte is my go-to. Very friendly staff that goes above & beyond. Place is cute and clean and has a discreet, cozy atmosphere
google avatar

Yelp
The most AMAZINGGGG coffee spot in the area. The owner, Mari is so lovely. I love that she does specialty coffees for the seasons. The Cafe de Olla is delicious. I've been obsessed with the Salter Caramel Latte for months. I have tried the Mazapan latte and the Horchatta latte, both are SOO good. The mini conchas are soft and the perfect size. I feel like the atmosphere is so welcoming, you end up talking to other customers while you wait which I love. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Best coffee shop in Los Angeles hands down. Small and feels like home. My go to is the tres leches with a extra shot, my partners is the horchata ice coffee which you can't go wrong with either . The employees here are on top of everything to getting your orders done perfectly and making sure the shop is clean and too notch. The sandwhiches are all great but my favorite would be the casa de La Tierra . The concha is a must try as well. Not dry but just perfect x I live in San Diego but best believe everyday im in Los Angeles I will be here . Today marks our 5th day inn a row excluding Mondays which they are close. Thank you De la Tierra cafe for the amazing drinks , food , and service . Yall the best I swear
google avatar

Priscilla A.

Yelp
Love the coffee and food. Pastries were delicious. Yummy concha's perfect paring with the best service. Ambiance's was cool nice like a coffee shop but homey. Very true to our culture.
google avatar

Karen G.

Yelp
I highly recommend trying the Horchata Latte. While I was waiting, I decided to try the food as well. And I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. Not only was the customer service outstanding, but they also answered all my questions, and I didn't feel I was being rushed. But the Atmosphere is beautiful, a nice place to sit and enjoy your food while reading your book. I will definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
As a self-claimed coffee connoisseur who's been to over hundreds of different coffee shops, i'll strongly argue that De La Tierra is top tier. They possess everything that one actively and inactively looks for in a coffee shop. From great decor and ambiance, to fresh and strong coffee that's handcrafted to perfection to shock your tastebuds. They have a wide variety of drinks and food that will attract anyone from the simple black coffee drinkers to the complex but happy to modify and cater towards people. This place is a gem within the area that should't be overlooked.
google avatar

Noemi C.

Yelp
Their café de olla is perfection! $5 for about 20oz, only offered hot. It's not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness and spices. I personally think you appreciate its flavor best without milk, but they do offer oat and almond alternatives. Place is small but cute, staff is super friendly, and their greatest flex is the parking lot in the back! Will definitely be going back to try their other drinks
google avatar

Nick V.

Yelp
DLT NEVER!! disappoints. The Summer Refreshers are a must try! Very attentive service always friendly! Check it out!
google avatar

Yelp

Yelp
Super Hot Day no Problem just order an iced tress leches latte and you'll be chill on those very hot days. And of course the taste is always on point.
google avatar

Andrew P.

Yelp
The pastries are delicious and the cafe de olla always hits the spot. The wall has pictures from the farm their beans are sourced from. This spot is super cute and a nice treat when you need a break from studying.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the house sandwich it was delicious, drink was perfect. The people attending you are sweet and welcoming. A very small place but you won't regret it very delicious!
google avatar

Marietta T.

Yelp
great service, delish breakfast sandwich, and excellent coffee. but the vibe/decor is just okay. I'm kinda a jerk when it comes to cafés, I want a vibe with my not-made-at-home cafecito.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! The breakfast sandwich was quite delicious . It was a big sandwich; tasted very fresh and homemade. The bread was toasted perfectly. The iced cafe de hoya was perfect! The inside is small but there is several small tables to sit at.
google avatar

Sophia S.

Yelp
came to waste some time before a concert with my friend and this was the perfect spot!! i do wish it was just a bit bigger but overall the environment and atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. As for drinks i got the hot chai, absolutely delicious! definitely on my list of favorite chais. My friend got a white chocolate latte which was equally as tasty! definitely recommend stopping by if youre in the area.

Yelp
While staying at the Hollywood hotel we stumbled upon this cafe and now we want to come back every visit! We ordered the turkey sandwich which was incredible. The sandwich was full of flavor, hot, fresh, and the chipotle sauce was just the right spice. We also ordered the canela tea and the tres leches latte both were amazing! The canela tea tasted just like my aunts, I was pleasantly surprised. We had wonderful service! The waitress was very kind and even brought us out a taste of one of their daily coffee to try. If I could've bought the whole bag of beans I would've and had that as my daily coffee, it was very delicious a mild flavor and didn't need any cream, sugar, or flavoring! It's a small location but this cafe is packed with flavor and friendly staff. We can't wait to visit when we're back into town!
google avatar

Carlos C.

Yelp
The coffee at this cafe is delicious. My wife is a coffee aficionado and she rates it a 10 out of 10. The breakfast sandwich's are delicious and fresh and the service was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Cristy Z.

Yelp
I love this place. The Cafè de Olla is one of the best I've ever had! Their sandwiches taste fresh and homemade. I also love their friendly owners and staff. I highly recommend this restaurant!
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Fantastic service and coffee! I am a huge coffee drinker and connoisseur. I prefer my coffee black and clean. I can tell when coffee has been over processed or has additives. Ramon the owner deeply appreciates high quality coffee and you can taste it. The coffee here is coming directly from the coffee farm to your cup. Its super clean and smooth. Recommend the house coffee! You will not taste anything like this in LA and cannot find it anywhere else as far as I know. Its black coffee with cinnamon and sugar. Also the tres leches latte is excellent. Ramon makes everything custom order to sweetness so if you do not like it- he will REMAKE your drink. Who else does that? He wants you to be happy with your coffee. Note- This place is about 5 min from Courage Bagels. So if you want to perfect breakfast of bagels and coffee- come here! I
google avatar

Brent C.

Yelp
Great little coffee spot if you're staying down the street at Hollywood hotel. I don't drink sweetener in my coffee but I still really enjoyed the Tres Leches latte. It's a bit sweet but creamy with a hint of cinnamon. And the warm little pan Dulce was perfection!
google avatar

Natalie J.

Yelp
02/03/2023 - FINALLY! A great coffee shop in my area. :) I ordered the tres leches latte & the mini conchas. I was really impressed by the tres leches latte which I ordered with oat milk. When I first saw it, mixed it and saw the color I thought I would not be able to taste the espresso but honestly you can. Their coffee is so good! I will definitely be coming back and trying to rest of their coffees. Their mini conchas were also amazing, fresh, and so soft! They have ample seating and offer wifi if you need a place to study or work. Based on the hours outside, they are open from 7am-6pm. A must try if you are in the area.

Yelp
This is a wonderful gem of a breakfast/lunch neighborhood restaurant. We discovered it just steps away from the Hollywood Hotel during our visit to LA and we have had breakfast here every day of our stay. It is a small cozy space decorated with a coffee farm theme. You enter to the smiling greeting of Maria who takes your order and acts as barista. Her triple shot decaf latte is the best ever for me. We have worked our way through most of the menu of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The breakfast sandwich is a crafted assemblage of eggs, ham, cheese and avocado between slices of fresh baked bread. All the food is meticulously made by the friendly chef and portions are generous. Standouts are the sandwich de la casa and the breakfast sandwich and prices are very reasonable. I really love this place!

Yelp
Yesterday I stopped in De La Tierra Cafe to grab coffee and food after I dropped my dog at the groomers near by. I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The employees are kind, warm and friendly. I could be wrong but I think one of them may have been the owner. The male employee (possibly owner) offered me a sample of their house coffee, which was delightful. Their house coffee has a yummy cinnamon flavor, I happen to love cinnamon in my coffee; I actually add cinnamon to my coffee at home (but certainly does not compare to their house coffee). I ordered iced Tres Leches Latte with oat milk and the turkey sandwich with chipotle, both items were very delicious! The latte was well balanced, not too sweet and flavorful, and the sandwich was very large, filling loaded with fresh ingredients and very very yummy. I ended up only eating half and bringing the other half home for my partner to enjoy. I have to mention the bread, I forgot to ask them what bread they use,but man was it yummy. A nice balance of soft/airy with a slight crisp. I don't live in this area anymore, but I certainly plan to drop in whenever I bring my dog to the groomers :) This is a small, intimate neighborhood cafe - which I really dig! I tend to prefer to support smaller/local cafes. Thank you for the lovely experience! I highly recommend De La Tierra Cafe! Good vibes, warm welcomes and yummy food and drinks....and bonus is they provide parking behind the building! (Which I discovered after parking at a meter). There's also lots of metered parking around too.
google avatar

Giovanni M.

Yelp
They have the best sandwiches in the Hollywood area. The owner is extremely nice and always welcoming. Always nice to support a family owned business. Got a returning customer in my girlfriend & I.
google avatar

Yelp
Was staying at the Hollywood Hotel and woke up needed something good. Incredibly lucky that De La Tierra Cafe is in walking distance of our hotel because it was the perfect wake up. The Tres Leche Latte was flavorful and the perfect complement to the pesto and ham bagel sandwich. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in LA!
google avatar

Jesus A.

Yelp
I have about an hour to kill and haven't had my morning coffee yet. Looked up the nearest coffee joint and decided to give it a try. I walked in to cozy but eclectic coffee joint. The smell of coffee grounds attracted me even more and the Latino rock playing kinda made me stay. I tried an iced cafe de Hoya and toast with cajeta and bananas. Two thumbs up! I will definitely try to come by more often. Although I did hear the owners speak about closing the place. I would hate to see it go. This truly is a gem!
google avatar

Lilit M.

Yelp
Hey guys I want to say just 1 thing that this is the BEST place that I go every single day probably 2 times a day They have this avocado toast with crunchy bread which is not 10 , but 20. Yelp
From the Moment you stepped in you'll know this your new Go to Coffee. Beyond amazed with the fast and Joyful Service. The Coffee is sooo Good! Cafe de Olla to die for, and the Dulce de Leche is a True Masterpiece. The ambiance is just Home, so delightful. If you're in the LA area, this a must visit.

Yelp
Ordered. Cajeta latte w oat milk and avocado toast. So good! Stuffs are so friendly, hospitality game top notch! Gave me sample of cajeta, explain menu so well. Loved all handmade furnitures that gives us warm welcoming atmosphere. Love there's parking behind the Bldg. Thank You very much for amazing food and hospitality!
