Caroline King of Bitch Beer Podcast Hosts a Hurricane Ida Relief Benefit at Red’s Beer Garden in Benteen Park Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"A seafood-boil pop-up run by chef Tom Zahir Browne that staged a kitchen takeover in London and used ticket sales to support Hurricane Ida recovery efforts; during the takeover the operation pledged to donate £1 (or more) per ticket to local charities and mutual aid groups serving southern Louisiana. The pop-up ran through Oct. 16 and positioned itself as a way for international diners to contribute to relief work back home." - Beth McKibben

I was in town with a group of people for a convention. A couple of my friends in the group wanted to stop into this shop as they were fascinated by what the shop had in the window. Add to that one of my friends is a Grateful Dead fan and loved the shirts we just had to stop. While the things in the store weren't my style they were all very, very nice products made by skilled craftsman. The owner shared that she or her friends designed and made much of the things in the store was quite impressive. She was very friendly and you can tell very passionate about being the best at her craft and sharing the joy she has with her customers. Definitely a place to visit and, if it is your speed, to buy a trinket or six to take home with you.

Beautiful items & friendly people! If anything, the resin pieces in particular are UNDERpriced. Got a cute little handmade tarot necklace, three pins, & a custom leather keychain for under $50. They also pointed me to a fantastic restaurant across the street selling a delicious chicken shawarma plate I’m eating right now

Really cool stuff. The selection of Grateful Dead Family silver was great. Some of the prices on small items like patches were marked up for around triple the price. I went 3 times. 2 times i had interacted with a man with a beard who was very friendly and knowledgeable on the items they had in store. But once i had a less the optimal experience with one of the ladies who worked there. She wasn't pleasant at all to be around and made me feel unwelcomed in the store (heavier set woman). Definitely would poke around if im ever back in New Orleans.

This shop is a gem in our community. They support local artists, and they hand make leather they sell. It's so radical, like a museum of magical NOLA art you can wear!! Been living here for 12 years and I never enjoyed the vibe of a shop this much on Decatur street like this one. 🤘🤩👽 Mucho lovez

Yelp
We stumbled upon this little gem later in the evening, and it did not disappoint. Lots of cool, witchy jewelry, and leather - a lot of which is made locally. The sales associate was kind and helpful, despite us rolling in close to closing time.
