Excellent Company and processing facility. Located directly across the street from Waitrek’s meat processing Co.. offering the same services as Waitrek’s (see my review) and similar prices. Again, there is a waiting period, but this plant has a 6 month waiting period!

I’ve been to the Floresville location more than a few times. The quality of the meat is excellent. Armadillo Eggs are delicious and every steak I’ve bought there is great quality. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. You can usually go in there and find a cut that isn’t usually seen at the local grocery store.

We had an entire cow processed here. All the cuts and packaging was really great. However, I would never use D&P for a cow again. The ground beef has so many tiny pieces of bone. I have gotten multiple pieces of bone in my dinner out of one single package. I've had multiple cows done in the past at other processors. I've never had this issue before.

Amazing ladies in this store. Talked through a ton of beef knowledge I had no clue existed. She recommended the picanha on her recommendation based on other things we liked. She talked us through how to cook it. It was one amazing piece of meat. I will be returning! Great product, quality and friendly service!

On a recent business trip we decided to stop in. Purchased Ribeyes to grill at the hotel instead of going out. Excellent decision. Literally cut my steak with a plastic butter knife. Tender, juicy and flavorful.
