Casual outpost offering a local Gulf seafood-focused menu with po-boys, shrimp & crawfish etouffée.
"NOLA has a new mini-chain starting today, when Deanie’s Sea Food Kitchen opens its doors for business at 2200 Magazine Street in the Garden District, reports Ian McNulty at The Advocate. This is the third location for Deanie’s, the legendary seafood restaurant that got its start in Bucktown over five decades ago. Deanie’s is well-known and loved for its seafood offerings, from crawfish Étouffée and crabmeat au gratin to po-boys and fried appetizers. The menu at the new Garden District restaurant is pretty similar, but with the addition of a raw oyster bar and a chargrilled oyster station." - Alison Baitz
