Same for the books but would stay for the vibes. They partnered with Leaves used books and had a lovely curated selection of used vintage books and writing journals. The wine bar was lovely and the lighting and space was incredible. A vibe for sure

Amazing bookstore & wine bar with a patio that is perfect for hosting literary events. I held a Wind-up Mice issue launch here and the staff was very accommodating. I love the various book and wine options.

Inviting, cozy and tasteful space. Although I am on a 3 day liquid fast, this space was gorgeous. The vibe was cool (people and space). I would be returning for a glass of wine. Open late/after work hours.

Honestly, this is the type of spot that I have been searching for. A place that serves wine and sake if you want it, but also has a solid selection of hot or sparkling tea. There’s a beautiful stone bar, and peaceful backyard seating. You can sit and connect with friends, play a game of chess, browse for a new book, or just take a chill moment for yourself. Bartenders were kind and helpful, great music to vibe to, and…… it’s open late!

Loved being here! It was such a calm and peaceful vibe. You can grab a glass of wine, sake, beer, Kombucha, or tea. They have a great collection of specialty books and some vinyl records. I loved their backyard, too. you can tell this space was created with lots of intention, even the stools at the bar caught my attention, haha

My son had his 30th birthday here. Such a unique bookstore that service wine, beer and Pierogis There’s a long bar, small seating in the front and outdoor seating. Huge thank you to Brie The music was flowing and lot’s of attention was paid to each guest.

Absolutely love the design and custom made interior at DFB, Anna is a wonderful host and I feel honored to have launched my book in this beautiful space among her carefully selected vintage finds. ‘A bookstore can be so much more, a place where people feel welcome and want to spend time. We do need time to enjoy beautiful things, especially books.’ Looking forward to come back soon for a glass of wine or delicious kombucha at the bar and read a magazine ….or talk to strangers who become friends. This place is a gem.

Hidden gem!! This place is such a calm, well curated environment with careful interior design, curated used books, and a short but intentional & thoughtful menu. They only serve wine and tea with very few options, but they are great options, and I loved my wine. The menu was also handwritten on a library book receipt. Very cute and shows dedication to the theme. I went for a drink with a friend before dinner for my birthday and loved it. I came a different time during the day and bought a book and a sketchbook. It's fun to come here alone or with others. The service is good, and the prices of the books are good - could be lower for used books, but considering how well chosen they are and how nice the place is, the price makes sense. The cost of the drinks is standard for NYC. There is also outdoor seating!!

I hate when wine bars have an extremely limited amount of options. Didn't have any issues with the service but this place was just underwhelming and I wouldn't be back especially due to location.

Came here with a member of my bookclub to try and cram before our next meeting. We sat at the bar. There were some good alcoholic and nonalcoholic options. The bartender was friendly and mostly left us alone. The relaxed atmosphere may lead to some people needing to pointedly ask for help. We only stayed for a bit before heading out for food but it was a cute spot and I'd come back again to chat with friends or honestly read alone.

Cute place! The customer service isn't good, at least not in my experience! No thank you, no good bye, no hello can I help you. Nothing at all! I made a point to say "thank you" twice when I left because I thought maybe he didn't hear me the first time. No, the man/bartender that rang up my book didn't even look up at me. Said nothing. I just purchased a book, and nothing. It didn't feel welcoming or warm or appreciative of my business. It made me regret purchasing from this business.
