"A Debris po’boy is about as close to New Orleans as you can get without leaving Alabama. The rustic sandwich shop starts with baguettes delivered fresh from legendary NOLA bakery Leidenheimer that are sliced and stuffed with gulf-caught seafood or rich roasted meats and a collection of classic condiments: mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Among the more unusual (but no less popular) sandwiches is the Thanksgiving Everyday po’boy packed with house-roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Pair your po’boy with a Southern-inspired cocktail (bananas foster old-fashioned, anyone?) or a selection from the extensive beer list." - Sarah Bisacca

Really good food and quickly made. Loved the grits bowl with debris. Unexpected twist is that it comes with collard greens that are cooked in bacon fat (yum!!). Also tried the special of the day -- Mac n cheese with crawfish and conecuh sausage. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Great Po Boy sandwich shop in Downtown Mobile! Highly recommend the hot Dagwood sandwich, sandwich portion was generous considering the price. Sandwich was delicious, well dressed, and is perfect for soaking up libations during Mardi Gras! Definitely coming back to try their other offerings.

This isn’t diet food. It’s not something you eat when you’re counting calories. It’s comfort food at its finest, the kind that fills your stomach and your soul. If you're looking for a meal that’s worth every delicious bite, this is it. Every bite felt like a guilty flavorful pleasure, the kind of meal you promise yourself you'll only have once in a while… but deep down, you know you’ll be back for more. Highly recommend the crawfish pistollete and the cochon de lait! Just happened to be on Dauphin St. during Mardi Gras and indulged in the king cake bushwhacker... probably one of the best bushwhackers I've ever had.

Ok this is a cute bar no doubt. Lots of seating at the bar or table. We ordered the boudin poyboy. Boudin was very good I thought. Fried up perfect. It had very good pickled onions which I love. But it was far to many. For me it over powered the Boudin. But portion was good I would just order the appetizer next time. The sweet bartender was out of ruby red juice for poloma so she made a yummy ginger one for me. Overall good experience.

Thumbs up to this little bar and sandwich shop. The boudin balls were great as the outside was crisp and inside perfectly filled with pure flavor. The sauces that compliment the balls were terrific as well. And the Po-Boys, also excellent. The bread is spot on perfect. The grilled blackened shrimp Po-Boy was Eeyore's favorite sandwich as it was light and full of flavor. The debris was much heavier experience, yet still an excellent on for those who love something much beefier, literally. Overall, a great little place.

The floor resembles a mid-20th century black a white. The floor caught my eye first. Spacious, well light, and clean. Friendly and efficient staff. Bar seating, and table seat with chairs for eats.

My first and last time. I’m so disappointed. For the price ($15 for Shrimp & chips), I expected more. I walked in, no greeting or even a we’ll be right with you. So? I had to walk over to someone who was doing something else to place my order. She was very nice. I ordered the BBQ Shrimp Pisstolette. The flavor was very salty. The bread was hard (I get toasted but you have to know how to toast for a go so it doesn’t get hard by the time the customer eats the food). It was nice that the shrimp was separate, but they may as well have put it into the bread, so the bread wouldn’t be hard. The chips were nasty (which isn’t their fault, but it didn’t help the experience). I ate all of my food because, well, I can’t just throw money away, but it was very difficult since it was..well…nasty :(. If you go, order something else.
