Decade

This restaurant was a great experience. A group of 10 friends went for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday and it was splendid. I assume the manager greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome. We sat at the bar while we waited for other fiends to arrive. The bar staff were attentive and made great martinis. Once seated, the server explained how the menu worked and was extremely kind and helpful. The food all around was impeccable and this will definitely be a return stop for us to try more items on the menu.

My husband and I went to Decade for our anniversary after finding out about this place a few weeks ago and let me say the food was absolutely delicious I mean everything from the baby beets even the fries and our main entrees which they call large decade! I can't wait to go back! I also got a very refreshing cocktail called instant crush I loved it! The atmosphere was nice too, my only complaint was the seating the place is pretty small so you kind of sit pretty close to other guests but we will be back for sure!! Great job Decade!

Decade was delicious!! Every course, was better than the last and bursting with flavor. While they encourage you to share, we choose to share a few small and medium plates and then order our own large plates. We started out with the focaccia, marinated olives, roasted beets and wedge salad. Two of us got the parpadella with braised beef (incredible), one of us got the halibut (crunchy exterior - yummy flavor) and the last got the pork with strawberries - surprisingly yummy!! We finished up with a couple desserts to share. The honeysuckle Ice cream and. Almond cake with Chantilly cream, strawberries, basil and black pepper (probably my favorite bites of the night!) The wait staff is great and willing to answer any questions you have about meals in depth! It was pricey, but well worth it!

My husband and I loved Decade. Grace was very friendly and knew a lot about the items on the menu. All of the food was fresh & delish. We will definitely be coming back here!

The best meal I’ve ever had! I’ve had lots of amazing meals, but this was incredible. All of the flavors were so much more amazing than i anticipated! We ordered the carrots, the fried risotto ball, ribeye, halibut and mushrooms. The mushrooms were TO DIE FOR. I could have just eaten the mushrooms and carrots for dinner. And the foccocia bread was awesome too!

I stumbled upon it on a Saturday night, it was moderately busy, I had to be seated at the bar. The bartender is knowledgeable, courteous and has great food recommendations. He would help you pare food not only with drinks but with other items on the menu.

We had a great date night at Decade, a restaurant in the Butchertown neighborhood that blends industrial style with a modern, artsy vibe. The exposed brick and artwork give it a chic, but not pretentious, atmosphere. The menu is uniquely organized by plate size (small, medium, large) instead of traditional categories, which makes it easy and kind of fun to build a meal or share dishes. Some items had unfamiliar names, but our server was excellent; they were super friendly and knew the menu inside and out. It felt more like having a personal guide when they were able to explain things we didn’t know on the menu. One of the dishes we shared (which I highly recommend) was the Ricotta Agnolotti, which was so rich and satisfying (and the jalapeños weren’t that spicy for my wife which was good), and the bread was so good we ordered a second helping to take home! I also appreciated the beer list, which had selections from local breweries like Atrium all the way to basic options like Miller lite, so there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a stylish but down-to-earth spot for dinner or drinks, Decade is absolutely worth a visit!

Such a great experience with impeccable food and service! Small touches (Locally made plates from Louisville Stoneware...where my father has designed their creations for over 50 years!) and attentive service from the moment you step into the front door, to the moment you leave. We came for our 20th anniversary and could not have been more pleased by so many small kindnesses from every person we encountered. We celebrated two decades at Decade and hope it is here for many many more!
