The rooftop had a beautiful view. The weather on 7/14/25 was perfect with a slight breeze. Our server was a little slow for our large party of 11 to 12, though a majority of us were only purchasing drinks. My Cobb salad would have been better with Romain Lettuce or another darker green option. My daughter got the Cookies and cream cake dessert that suits her liking.

Google
Deck 12 is a great place to grab dinner and drinks with some friends. We were able to reserve an outdoor table and the view was amazing. Our server was great and everything came out in a timely manner. We ordered the tacos, mezze platter, and shrimp scampi. The shrimp scampi was my favorite! Highly recommend this place

Google
beautiful place however the food was extremely underwhelming. My girlfriends and I had gone yesterday for a friends birthday and half of us ordered carne asada tacos. The meat was not seasoned and the texture was everything but tender. I took one bite and could not manage to continue with the rest of the meal. The rest of the group got fish and chips which ended up being more breading than actual fish and a lot of fries😕. the drinks were an amazing experience, i’d recommend you to come for drinks only !!

Loved Deck 12! The views are absolutely amazing — perfect spot to unwind. The chicken tacos were good, but the cocktails were superb. Great vibes all around. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited Deck12 with five of my girlfriends, and I have to say—what an amazing experience! It was my first time at a rooftop restaurant, and everything from the vibe to the view made it extra special. We were there celebrating three big occasions— a birthday, a retirement, and a divorce— and Deck12 truly delivered the perfect setting for our night out. The atmosphere was fun and lively, the food and drinks were delicious, and our server, David, was outstanding! He was personable, attentive, friendly, and made sure our table was well taken care of throughout the evening. We had almost everything on the Sharing Menu - Mezze Platter, Hush Puppies, Truffle Fries, Gochujang Wings, Scallion Pancake, "Deck Out" Nachos, Deck 12 Onion Rings Tower, Margherita Flatbread...absolutely delicious. We started with the Summer Sangria... Highly recommend Deck12 if you're looking for a place to celebrate, unwind, or just enjoy a great rooftop evening with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Google
Had a great time enjoying the rooftop views and friends on a cold Saturday. It was comfortable with the heaters. The manager/bartender was super friendly and fun. Made some great drinks for us to enjoy with our cheese fondue platter. Fondu -licious! Waiter was attentive and helpful. Great time had by all!

Deck 12: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great views & sunsets! 🌆 Excellent service. 👍 Salad & flatbread 🥗🍕 on point. Drink options limited. 🍹 Still, a fantastic Boston rooftop!

Google
I visited this restaurant with a few girlfriends. We were visiting Boston and saw Deck 12 as a recommendation. From walking in, the place was beautiful. As anticipated, the temperature was low, but if you prefer, there were heaters available outside for your comfort. The view was also beautiful. The food was good, too.  The flatbread stuffed with corn and chicken, along with the wings, is a must-try. The chicken and waffles were also good. The drinks were nice; we had the sangria and the hibiscus refresher. Rina, our waitress, providing excellent service. She accommodated our request to switch from outdoor to indoor seating. She was very pleasant and contributed to our excellent experience. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a must-try when visiting Boston.

Yelp
Completely baffled by all of the terrible reviews; have heard that the food menu was redone recently though, and is much better now. I love this rooftop! The service is friendly, very accommodating and there usually is not too long of a wait. The views of the skyline of the city are beautiful! I went for lunch while staying at the hotel, and tried the beef empanadas, and the smash burger with truffle fries. The beef empanadas were a bunch of tiny ones, all very crunchy with a "secret sauce" that was the best part about the appetizer! The smash burger was 2 patties, caramelized onions, mushrooms, pickles, and a BBQ aioli sauce- and was just as delicious as the appetizer. The flavors combined so well together, and the patties were juicy, despite being "smashed". The truffle fries were thin, crispy, and served with Parmesan, truffle oil, and a garlic aioli (per my request). ALL of the food I tried here was fresh out of kitchen, with unique flavors, and all very delicious. Most certainly not the "bar food" we had expected. Would definitely return here for food and drinks!

Yelp
Deck 12 is a rooftop bar in Seaport on the top floor of the Yotel Hotel. They had a long wait on the day that we went at around 9:00pm on a Friday so we ended up sitting inside. It was pretty dark, crowded and loud but is a classy place to go with a friend for the downtown vibe. The food and drinks are a bit expensive but the quality of the ingredients and portion sizes make up for it. The drinks were strong and garnished well - very fancy. The truffle fries were good, I just wish they came with more aioli. The deck 12 nachos were made with plantain chips instead of tortilla chips and the chicken looked a little undercooked but everything was seasoned well. All the dishes were good for sharing and were very filling. I'd recommend visiting at least once just for the ambiance and a drink if you're in Seaport.

Yelp
We were looking for a rooftop bar in Seaport, and stumbled across Deck 12! They're located in the Yotel hotel. The rooftop was actually beautiful and had the perfect views for the vibe we were looking for. There were heaters outside which helped with the cold, and that was super appreciated too! They had tons of drink options - I went with the Just Peachy and it was sooo good! Definitely get this if you enjoy sweeter drinks. Food-wise, we weren't hungry enough to get food but they seemed to have a pretty good selection. Service was quick and our server was super friendly. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was that they were playing the same 3 songs on repeat the entire time we were there lol - but either way a great place for drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
Was staying in this hotel for work for about a week and we stopped in a couple times for both drinks and food. They have a lovely rooftop and a great drink selection, both alcoholic and NA. I do wish they had THC seltzers as listed on their website but I understand there were some regulations that impacted their ability to serve those. For food, we got mac n cheese, side salad, and banana split. I was unable to get a picture of the mac n cheese but they must have updated their recipe recently as it looks different than what is pictured in other photos. They also did not have fondue, which I was disappointed by as it looked delicious.

Yelp
I went here for my 22nd birthday brunch and it was a perfect way to begin the celebration! We requested an outside table when we made the reservations, as we knew the view was incredible, and it did not disappoint! I got an aperol spritz, it was very refreshing! I also got a side of bacon and potatoes to snack on, they were the perfect size, and tasted delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful view of the city in the form of a rooftop bar! I hope to go back!

Yelp
This bar was on the rooftop of our hotel so we had to check it out. The view is stunning! We went late Monday night (930/10pm) and we had our choice of seating. They seemed like they were close to closing so we didn't stay long. The drinks are pretty pricy, but not unexpected for a rooftop. They actually had a $5 frose which I ordered which was super sweet and questionable if it actually had any wine in it. We came for the views and took great photos of the skyline!

Danielle S.

Yelp
Staff is so rude. Bald guy with beard is a disgusting jerk. (I think it was the manager). Won't be back!!!!!! Can't believe the service we received. Also, all the wait staff is horrendous. Food and drinks were good but won't be back due to staff. Shame because it's such a nice location.
google avatar

Miranda G.

Yelp
Stayed at Yotel and had to check out Deck 12! We came for brunch and it was pretty quiet, so the servers came by and checked on our table quite a bit. We got the waffle burgers and poutine for brunch. The portion sizes were pretty large so we had a lot of leftovers. The food overall was just okay. I thought the waffle burger was way too large so it was a little hard to eat and enjoy. We came when it was snowing, so I'll definitely be back to try sitting out on their deck and trying out their apres menu!
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
ok love this place. vibe is so fun and the drinks are great. our waiter Robert was AMAZING.

Jack S.

Yelp
Don't eat here. Portions are insultingly small, quality is low, service is poor and rude but don't worry, you'll be charged an 18% gratuity automatically and they won't tell you. Places like this are the problem in the Boston food scene and unfortunately unwitting tourists and businessmen from out of town accidentally support these places staying open.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
The food is fresh and yummy.. The service was even better. Everyone is so pleasant . Busy but still got our food and drink at a responsible time and still hot

Yelp
An amazing rooftop/penthouse experience in downtown Boston! It was raining, so we couldn't sit on the rooftop, but we sat on a room that had great rooftop views. Everywhere inside had a view with windows all over, which made it feel as if you were right out on the rooftop. Our reservation was for 6:45 and we got there an hour early, and because it wasn't busy, they sat us right away. I got the sangria to drink, and it was so delicious that I got another one. This is mostly an appetizer/small plate place, so we got the fried calamari and the chicken ranch flatbread. Both were picture perfect and very tasty. I really liked how the calamari was in rings and little octopus form lol. The garlic aioli with it was a must. The flatbread, I could have done without the onions, but it was just what I needed to fill me up. Waitress so was amazing. Highly recommend this spot for an early stop before dinner!

Yelp
Believe the bad reviews. The food was not good. It's hard to ruin a pretzel, but when it's bland and tough on the outside, and somewhat gooey on the inside, you've done it. The drinks tasted like dishrag water, save the sparkling wine I got, which was fine! Not to say this adds insult to injury, but... They didn't have standard condiments like yellow mustard for their pretzels. The onion (?) mustard they served with them instead was extremely gross. The view is great and the service was okay. I guess what I'm saying is you can come here for the beer, wine, and view, and not much else.

Yelp
On the top floor of the hotel yotel in the seaport area of Boston you will find the restaurant, Yotel Deck 12. Be prepared to ride the elevator to this rooftop bar and restaurant that has great views, drinks and food. My friend and I started off with drinks and then got the cheese fondue which came with the perfect amount and variety of things to dip it including potatoes, bread, mushrooms and cauliflower. Then we ordered our main food. I got the eggs Benedict and my friend got the French toast. We had a lovely time. The food was great, the service was great and the drinks were great too. I would 100% recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Kiran V.

Yelp
Came here for a drink after a movie nearby. I made a reservation but walk ins would have maybe worked. It was in a cool hotel but was generally a small space. The drinks and fries were good, a bit pricey but it makes sense for the location. Okay place but maybe worth more to go somewhere on the water.
google avatar

arly n.

Yelp
Do you go to a rooftop to have the best food in the world? Absolutely not. But what I really appreciated about the rooftop at Yotel was that it was actually pretty good. We got the wings, potato skins, fried pickles, and fries. All things I'd likely get again. I've had bad bar food and this does not fall into that category. But most of all, the service was great. All the bartenders were incredibly nice and accommodating. I didn't care for one of my drinks but she switched it out for something else with no hesitation. Def will come again!
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible view of the city!! Delicious food and quite affordable at happy hour! The drinks were delicious, and the service was so friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nice rooftop option in Boston, with some views (of building rooftops), excellent service, and THC drinks 5mg). * the peach cocktail was amazing, the mojito pretty good * clam chowder - excellent * crab cake - good * banana split with cotton candy - tasty and Instagrammable Seating outside is seasonal - the chairs made of skis and the gondola can be used in the winter, and are replaced by high top chairs and tables in the summer. As of mid May, there were heaters running (and they were useful - come on Boston, get on the global warming boat already!). Cheese fondue is also only available in the winter :( Service was prompt and lovely. Tip was included in the bill since Yotel operates as a European hotel chain.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Truffle fries were ok, but drinks were not very good. View was nice, I do wish they had nicer seating.
google avatar

Masmin P.

Yelp
Better as a drinks and apps place than for dinner. I had asked for an indoor table thinking I'd get the full menu but we got the same limited menu as the outdoor seating area- if I had known that I would have asked to sit outside! Food was reasonably good though- we got the calamari, crab cakes and (world's mini-est) tuna tacos.
google avatar

Jillian B.

Yelp
I came to visit my friend in town, and she suggested we check out Deck 12. Luckily, it was an unseasonably warm evening and we were able to snag a reservation in the outdoor section, Apres. The atmosphere is really neat, especially all of the Adirondack chairs made out of skis. There were plenty of powerful heaters near each group of chairs. The view was great! My friend and I both ended up getting the same drink, Not Coming Home, which was both fruity and a bit floral. We split the cheese fondue, which was a very generous portion for 2 people (though I do wish it came with more bread!) and the flavor of the fondue was spot on. All in all, cute spot to check out!
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
What a view! I sat outside and it was lively and spacious. My food was delicious, I had the egg special and the price was affordable for the area. Service was prompt and friendly, 18% gratitude is added.
google avatar

Cristina R.

Yelp
A Boston rooftop may not be your first thought of a place to hang on a chilly day in January, but Yotel's Deck 12 will prove you wrong with their Apres menu and fun vibes. We made a reservation for a gondola, which is the most heated option. Be sure to make a reservation because they don't allow walk-ins on the roof during this time! You are also able to reserve adirondack seating, which is partially heated, and chair lift seating, which is drinks only. IMO the gondola is the most comfortable option, so book a few weeks out to get that since there are only 2 gondolas! The views are great, there are lights and good music, and the menu is a fondue-lover's dream! We started with a glass of Portuguese Blend red wine and the Four Cheese Fondue For Two, which came with an array of accompaniments (including some non-standard fare) like pretzel bites, cornichons, toasties, potatoes (my fave), mushrooms, and dates. There was a great amount of cheesey goodness, and we weren't able to finish it all... since we needed to save room for dessert. The Dark Chocolate + Pinot Noir Fondue for Two was so decadent, with accompaniments including giant marshmallows, brownie bites, angel food cake, and strawberries. We also couldn't finish this, and the kind server offered to wrap up our leftovers so we could take our goodies home. She also took our photo! Overall, the service was so friendly, multiple people checked on us, and they even gave us blankets when the wind started picking up. Come get cozy at this rooftop in the Seaport... no skiing required to Apres!
google avatar

Donald R.

Yelp
This roof top has great views, but some of that depends on where you're sitting. Service was outstanding. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the views without reservations. Our server took good care of us. My wife and I just stopped by for a drink, but stayed for a piece of cheesecake. I had a Buffalo Trace over a large rock. It was a very generous pour, albeit an expensive one too. The cheesecake was excellent. A bit more cake like and Not too cheesy. It's a good place to spend some time.

J P.

Yelp
Better view than Revere. Parts of the city and water. Food is innovative and drinks were good.
google avatar

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Just tried to go to the roof bar 3pm Sunday. Inside totally empty. Asked about getting a drink and got a not straightforward answer about sitting at a table vs the bar. After asking multiple times about sitting outside and them not answering directly, the two women at the front finally said "correct" when I said "so it sounds like outside is not an option". Not sure if they're trained to not say "no", but being clear about "outside is full" or "you have to make a reservation to sit outside" would have been helpful. Just came off as kind of snobby.

Joseph M.

Yelp
If I could do 4.5 I would. Not perfect but the tuna and salmon bowls are exemplary. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area. Ambiance is solid with a good skyline view. The couple next to us fell over the balcony after a brief scuffle. Service continued as usual afterwards, I paid their tab, seemed like they needed it. Hope they're ok. Solid 8.5/10
google avatar

Constance L.

Yelp
Strong drinks but service was lacking. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 2.5/5** Staff were friendly but didn't seem to know what they were doing. We got drinks and sat outside for a bit, then asked for a table inside. Once seated, we weren't given waters and nobody came by to give us the check until we flagged them down. Once we got the check, we went to the bar to get our credit card since we had a tab open and they claimed they didn't have the card. They were searching for a few minutes before they found it. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Gorgeous rooftop with a great view. **Price & portion, 3/5** Food was good but pricey for the portion size. I'd recommend getting drinks here for the view and then getting dinner elsewhere. **Taste of the food, 3/5** - Mac n cheese, 3.5/5: Bright orange and okay flavor. Enough to get carbs in me while drinking but wouldn't order again. The garlic bread it came with also didn't have any garlic flavor and was super small. - Nachos, 5/5: Pretty solid with interesting avocado crema and scoopable cheese sauce. A hit w the table! - Guava - house rum - lime cocktail, 1/5: I forgot the name but we ordered a guava cocktail that in theory sounded delicious but was not sweet at all and had a stake cracker aftertaste. Super weird.
google avatar

Grace H.

Yelp
This is a nice rooftop bar with heated seats. The wait to get in is quite extensive so I would recommend making reservations. I enjoyed their frozen margaritas which was very delicious and the view was beautiful!
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
We visited Deck 12 with high expectations. I was a little disappointed. We sat in one of the heated gondolas and had to keep moving so our heads didn't burn from the heaters. The patio menu is VERY limited. We had the fondue platter and because they weren't busy they tweaked the dipping platter and took off the meat offering. This was a plus. The beer cheese fondue was ok. Nothing exciting. We were surprised by the pickles which turned out to be one of the best options. The gin cocktail was tasty and the wine offerings were a pleasant surprise. The view is nice if you're just looking for a quick drink with friends but I'd pass on eating there.
google avatar

Sash G.

Yelp
The views from here are really nice. The drinks are really good. However, do make reservations before coming to get a good seat in the outdoor patio. Also, get used to security coming to check on you and inform you of the timer they set on you. Not exactly, relaxing and enjoyable when hostess and security have to come and ask every 15 minutes what time you arrived only to tell you every 15 minutes that your time is almost up. Best of option: make reservations and hopefully they don't hassle you like they did me.
google avatar

Brooke C.

Yelp
The rooftop is sooo cute and the views are stunning! My drink was not the best so I wouldn't recommend it if you're going for that. We got the gelato desert which was very tasty tho. The service was excellent and even the manager came to check in with how we were doing. We went on a day that had been raining on-and-off so they said they'd only serve us inside but we could take our drinks over to the outdoor part of the roof and sip them there if we wanted.
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
I just came up to check out the view since I was staying at hotel. If you want to eat or drink- you would need to make reservations ahead of time .Both nights- it was packed. Some inside seating and the outside patio area seating which was nice . View of Boston is nice. No bar seating.

Alan S.

Yelp
If it wasn't for the view this place would be out of business. Trash service and non accommodating, unprofessional manager. Would never come back
google avatar

Hillary R.

Yelp
The views and rooftop are incredible!!! Ski lodge themed. Yes your time is limited, but we knew that and it wasn't a problem. Add this to your list for a cocktail spot! Heaters all over!

Jack T.

Yelp
We joined our friends at this bar to be ignored by our bartender for about 20 minutes until we were over it and decided to go somewhere else. The bar back was actually one of the kindest people we interacted with. Our friend just wanted to close out her tab and after getting distracted multiple times, we asked our bar tender once again for our check. Our bartender "Molly" who had ignored us all night, then complained about us to her coworker directly in front of us. She was very messy, bitter, and made us all feel very uncomfortable (but they include an 18% gratuity at the bar so she still gets her check and this doesn't bother her). The establishment has so much potential with great food and views, the service just very clearly needs some attention (Molly in particular, eek!). I work in service and I would never treat someone who is paying for an experience the way we were treated.
google avatar

Velerii P.

Yelp
I celebrated part of a birthday here. There is a really short menu but some positions we tried were pretty tasty. Prices are high, but that excellent view makes it definitely worth it!
google avatar

Brianna D.

Yelp
As a New Yorker I'm a very big rooftop fan and this bar exceeded my expectations! Staff both in the lobby and upstairs were welcoming and the ambiance couldn't have been better. I liked the music a lot and my cocktail was delicious. The location is great.
google avatar

Jackie T.

Yelp
My friends and I made reservations in advance to come here the other night. The view was AMAZING and made the whole experience definitely worth it. I liked the food and thought it was reasonably priced for where we were, but the drinks were very pricey and very small. But like I said, worth it for the amazing pictures I got.
google avatar

rachel m.

Yelp
Nice rooftop with a good size deck but wasn't anything special. A few fun speciality cocktails and small app menu. Waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommending drinks.
google avatar

My-Linh D.

Yelp
Yotel is always a good time! I went today (July 24th) and it turned out to be national Tequila Day! So my entire table for free tequila drinks and t shirts! I love the vibes here!

Emily G.

Yelp
I would really love to dine on the rooftop and especially try to make a reservation during the après-ski celebration theme. I attempted to contact multiple times for questions The phone for the dining left a greeting that directs to go online for OpenTable and does not up to leave a message, is it said the voicemail is full. One time I actually did get to leave a message for a callback, which did not happen. It also directs you to send an email which I did, and did not get a response from that either. I live about an hour outside of the city and would need to have my details confirmed before coming in. I hope they would improve the customer service..
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
It was very hard to get a reservation at this rooftop bar but I was sooo glad that my group was able to get one! The outside section/rooftop area is not very big and I think seating was even more limited because of COVID. But the view was very nice and the food surprisingly looked and tasted really good! I ordered the Betty the Yeti drink which looked really pretty (it had sparkles in it!) but didn't taste as fruity as I thought it would be. However, the Caribbean Nachos with al pastor pork and the mac and cheese were both delicious! The portion for the mac and cheese is good for 2-3 people and the nachos is good for about 4-5 people. I would love to come back to this spot for the night view!!
google avatar

Nancy H.

Yelp
Yotel Deck 12 is the spot to hit up if you're looking to enjoy food with friends while enjoying the skyline view on the rooftop. The oysters that we got as apps were the best food items in my opinion. The eggs benedict was good but one of the poached eggs was a bit overcooked in comparison to the other. The maple infused Belgian waffles didn't really taste like maple and more like ordinary Belgian waffles. All in all would I recommend Yotel Deck? Yes I would if you're looking for a place with a gorgeous view of Boston. The food is alright but you essentially end up paying for the experience and view.
google avatar

Sirimala K.

Yelp
Went with a group of 8 towards closing time. We did order a decent amount of things before they were about to close the kitchen. The service was horrible. Our waitress was pretty rude. I understand we came in a little late but it wasn't like we ordered an appetizer per person. Spent $700 (without tip yet). Communication was poor from the staff. When it came time to leave they passively turned off the TV while we were actively watching it and turned off the lights. As far as the food, it was mediocre. Their selection is small so you would expect them to perfect those limited items. A big NO. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go spend your hard earned money somewhere that will appreciate it folks.
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
I had a solid brunch here over the weekend. I love the option to reserve, especially since Seaport is always popping these days. The chicken flautas were pretty good, nothing surprising and my friend enjoyed her eggs benedict. My cold brew cocktail (essentially an espresso martini) was tasty but the portion was very small. It's not disappointing nor exceeding expectations. Quite pricey for the portion but you get a nice view. The service was slow despite it not being packed.

Yelp
Spectacular rooftop views overseeing the Boston skyline. While it was a bit windy in the outdoor seating area, there is also an indoor option as well. Food was just okay, not the best tasting brunch foods ever. You definetly pay for the view. An 18% gratituity is included in your bill. On the other hand, drinks were pretty good. My friends and I each ordered a summer cocktail and it was very strong. Overall, I loved the outdoor ambiance and views. The music was also nice!

Yelp
All of the pictures posted on Yelp of the outside are not accurate. No ski theme anywhere. They were out of multiple of their cocktails but didn't let you know until you tried to order them. Completely out of draft beer, only checked on us once and we had to go pay our bill at the bar because we didn't know where our server was. The view was still very pretty though! And the heaters did their job and kept us fairly warm.

Yelp
Visited last Friday for a friends birthday and we had a great time! I wasn't sure if the hotel had parking so we ended up at a lot nearby. We were supposed to sit outside but it was super windy so they changed our reservation to indoors. We were a little late and had to wait a few minutes for a table but the staff was super kind about it all. We ordered champagne which was yummy and got an assortment of tacos and tostadas with churros for dessert. Food was yummy and the drinks looked pretty! Definitely super pricey for what you get but it's the experience of eating out in a rooftop in boston. Space was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. I'd go back.
