The 11 Best Italian Subs In Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"This food truck’s menu seems to cover nearly every sandwich in existence (or about 15 of them, at least). That includes an excellent italian that adds parmesan, pepper relish, and spicy mustard to the usual slate. But the biggest departure from the norm is the toasted brioche roll. It’s softer and sweeter than a traditional hoagie, and we’re surprised to find that we don’t miss the thicker bread as much as we expected to." - nicolai mccrary

The sandwich was delicious, one of the best ive had AND for a good price of $12. Along with that the perfect hand cut french fries, perfectly crispy. This along with friendly staff at the window and its a new favorite food truck. Only thing that sucked was the fan to keep me cool was blowing my napkins away ☹️

My wife and I love a good food truck and Austin had plenty to choose from. Deep End Sub is in a class of its own with their unique twist on subs. Both of our subs were flavorful and came out piping hot. We took advantage of the covered seating and quickly devoured everything. If you're in the mood for a good sub, I definitely recommend checking them out.

Exceptionally friendly guest service, Jay was phenomenal. The subs were amazing, highly recommend the pork banhmih. The veggie slaw dressing and roasted pork perfect combination. Even thought it was not your traditional Vietnamese banhmi the whole combination works very well. My Vietnamese friend loved it. We also tried their Cubano, it was good too but after I tried their pork banhmih I forgot about the cubano. The fries were hand cut, lightly seasoned with salt, tried with the fry sauce. They are open 7 days a week 10-10. Seating is limited, 4-5 benches but the food and customer service is amazing. To owner: please add fried egg as an extra topping. That will make the sandwich over the top.

I’m not usually much for Po Boys but something told me to try this place out and boy I’ll tell you what I’m glad I did. Excellent sandwich. I’ve been looking for a good local sandwich spot in the neighborhood and I think I just found it. The bread was so good. And Poe loved the fries!

I've lived within walking distance of this place for a while now, and I'm upset I didn't try it sooner. The guys working there were very friendly, and the sandwiches and fries were awesome. We tried the Cubano and the "Burger," both were excellent. They also include tax in their menu pricing and have a "no tips, just vibes" policy. Refreshing to see such forward pricing these days. Even if the little area they're parked in doesn't look busy, they're still probably open, so definitely stop by. I know I'll definitely be making more of an effort to visit going forward. These guys deserve your support (and money 😂)!

Feels like this place serves sandwiches primarily as a vehicle to bring fine dining to the public in an approachable way at an approachable price point. The attention to detail in the meats, the sauces and even down to the pickles—all made by hand—really gives the impression that this chef has gone off the deep end in the best way possible. I don't know, this all just came to me somehow after I finished my cubano.

I've been craving a sandwich for a while and this place just hit the spot. I got a pork banh mi, I had the option to "make it a double", which is just basically getting 2 sandwiches at a discounted price. The bread was really great, toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was slightly dry, but the toppings more than made up for it! Whatever sauce they put on this, I wanted more! The coleslaw was so fresh and crunchy. I'll be back to try the other subs!

The Chicken Bacon ranch sub was really really good. The toasted Challah bread was fluffy, and tasty. The flavors of the chicken, bacon, and sauce blended really well and presented itself as a delightful sandwich! And ACC students/faculty get free fries! What a hidden gem, will be back for more
