I visited Deerbrook Mall recently, and while it has a good variety of stores and some nice spots to shop, it didn’t really impress me. The layout is fine, and there are a few decent options for food, but overall, it feels like a pretty standard mall. It was clean and not overly crowded, which I appreciated, but nothing really stood out to make me want to go back. Plus, it’s quite far from me, so I don’t see myself returning anytime soon. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

We came recently to Deerbrook Mall and had our daughter in these little playground. There were other families and little kids playing around. We had a security come by and tell each family that there was a noise complaint and to tell their children to lower it down. Does a child understand to keep it down when theres kids playing aroud? If they complain about the noise just take the playground out.

Nice looking mall on the inside. But the mall is full of unruly kids. I'm not talking just loud and silly, but having food fights in the food court, couple first fights in the walk ways and a young girl giving oral pleasure by the bathroom entrance. This was all in one visit. Never going there again. It's a shame because the place looks pretty nice and has decent stores.

Fun place for keepsake moments and memories for kids and loved ones.

This mom is centered around other great businesses such as eateries shopping centers and grocery stores so I can basically do everything that I need to do within one location. I really liked how nice and clean this mall was on the outside and on the inside. I see That a lot of real estate within the mall was full with businesses within them so it allows you to really have a lot of options when shopping. If I can give additional feedback, I would say that in the near future, the owners should add more color to the exterior of the mall And just some other things that will beautify the outside.

I just left this mall. And had the worst customer service experience ever at forever 21. The current night shift manager and their cashiers were extremely rude. All I asked from the cashier is to let me the prices after the discounted total given that I had came before and reading the signs posted weren’t the same as what it was ringing up. The cashier kept telling me read is on the sign and after telling her 3 times the experience I had days prior to coming with the price tags she kept telling me that it’s going to be what it says there. It wasn’t hard job to just scan it and tell me what the price that was ringing up was, but she continue to slam items from left and right. The last item she rang up I told her just tell me you don’t want to do your job and that’s it and she proceeded it with well you’re not reading even after I kept telling her those are wrong sometimes. And she came at me rude and so I called her manager over and the manager didn’t do crap and said the same thing “it’s on the sign” then I explained to her what was going and she told her cashier “go ahead and scan it then” and the cashier after she processed my transaction slammed my bag to the counter as she was handing it to me. I gave it back to her and told her to do it again and do it right this time and she slammed it harder and so I gave it back and she threw it to the side counter. And I called the manager again and the manager said I was the one being disruptive even though her cashier didn’t want to do her job as a customer service representative in the first place. Then another cashier comes out of no where insulting me and yet the manager proceed with saying I was the disruptive one. What a worst manager and cashiers. I hope deerbrook takes note of this and doesn’t employ any of the cashiers (cashier KELLEY) or manager working this night on 04/01/2025 7pm.

Google
Still a really nice mall after all these years. Many stores have closed. But going to the mall is a true Gen X experience. The food court is stores amazing. Shre this experience with your children and grandchildren, before it's no longer available ✌️

Google
Deerbrook Mall is my go-to spot for everything from killer sneakers to a quick Auntie Anne's pretzel fix. Love how it's got all my favorite stores under one roof and parking is never a nightmare!

Yelp
I love Deerbrook mall and have always gone for as long as I can remember, they have a good amount of shops, and while not as big as most malls, there's still something for everyone. I especially love the Barnes and nobles, the food court is spacious and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed.

Yelp
Should be the "Dear-Broke Mall" because prices are high, everything is very dear (expensive), and will leave you broke. Seriously though, it's no cheaper than the fancy malls like Woodlands and Galleria, but looks a lot more run-down inside and out, and for this reason it's not one of my faves. Not nearly as good for people watching as Woodlands Mall, Galleria or even Memorial City either, but it does get busy and it is a fun place to visit. And we found a lot of sexy leggings for Barbi when we visited.

Yelp
Location: Off 59 feeder. Parking: spacious and plenty, including a cover area Staff: different staff as there is different stores Seating: plenty of indoor seating along the mall. Benches in between, food court area Price: lots of great deals all over Drink: lots of yummy drinks, such as aguas frescas, smoothies or juice Food: plenty options in food court as well as in between areas. Location is kept clean, spacious areas to walk and enjoy window shopping as well as actual shopping. Location includes a movie theater as well.

Yelp
Nice stores but walking out if my truck and towards my truck was kind of scary. The neighborhood isn't too safe.they need more security outside.

Yelp
Came here for something to do after an airport drop off. (Figured if we drove all this way up, might as well find stuff to do up here). This mall was good. Wasn't the greatest or biggest but it was decent. Some stores include: Macy's, Dillards, JCPenny, AMC theater, American Eagle, Barnes and Noble, Bath & Body Works, Buckle, Build-a-Bear, Claire's, Dick's, Express, Francesca's, Game Stop, H&M, Hollister, Lids, various shoe stores, etc. food court had a number of options too. We *almost* got a Cinnabon (my fav) but decided to not have sweets BEFORE having dinner. Wonder if anything will go into the empty Sears anchor store? All in all, a good way to kill some time.
google avatar

Madi M.

Yelp
Good selection of stores and good variety of food in food court. It was on a Sunday, surprisingly was not that busy. I was enjoying in person shopping experience. I am glad there is an option to go to actual store vs online shopping.

Jaylen T.

Yelp
Stop by today to get some clothes and shoes. They got some deals and found what I look for
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I give this mall a 3 star, they had a good selection of stores and workers where really nice, but it was really hot inside, everyone was sweaty and complaining about the heat, poor workers I felt bad seeing them work in the heat :(
google avatar

Toya R.

Yelp
Came into DICKS's sporting goods, with my sister. She noticed an associate that made eye contact with her she waved at the associate and the associate looked away. Keniya is her name. As we approached her she had a grimace on her face as if we were bothering her. May need more customer service training.

Yelp
I have come to the indoor playground for a couple of years now with no issues. But today, a security guard came up to me and said of the store to sides of the playground was complaining we were making too much noises. Excuse me, what? This is a playground for children, isn't it? Also, my daughter was yelling or screaming at the top of her lungs. She was merely running around the large center tree. If you don't want my business Deerbrook Mall, that's all you had to say. This is another reason online order takes precedent over in person interactions!
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
The elevators and escalators are always broken. The mall could use an update. Security is available throughout the mall.
google avatar

Yelp
I use to been here to deerbrook mall a lot wit my family Its awesome and cool mall so I we'll give five stars

Jesus H.

Yelp
I used to work here and all the cleaning lady's are messy. The short manager is such a **** . She would make you clean a spill if you did it. She once screamed at me and told me to pick my stuff even though I didn't drop it (I work at the food court)
google avatar

Damian F.

Yelp
It's a mall...not the fanciest...but it's ok for the area...you're not going to find any of the high end stores...like they have at The Galleria...but they have just about anything else...it's clean...and easy to navigate...I rarely go to the mall...unless I just want to blow off some downtime...I would recommend this mall...because you'll have less of a headache going here...than going to The Galleria or Memorial City

Madison H.

Yelp
I have never been, but it looks radical but maybe will go today later I like the elevators they look pretty cool

Yelp
This mall is currently under construction inside. I took my daughter to visit Justice for Girls but it was already gone. I went and asked an employee at a nearby kiosk and they said that Kids Foot Locker was moving and was taking majority of that space. The guy mentioned a few stores were closed down but he couldn't remember all of the ones that were gone. Other than that, it's a nice mall (As long as they keep Macy's, Victoria's Secret, G by Guess, Bath & Body Works and NY&Co.!) and they have a great playplace for smaller kids. Food court has Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, some Chinese places, a pizza place, Cinnabon, a pretzel place and a movie theater. Excellent changing stations in the restroom by the food court. They also have a family bathroom or separate restrooms for male/female with multiple stalls.

S D.

Yelp
Not a bad mall, it's crowded however. I usually avoid weekends if I want to shop here. All the stores and kiosks are tightly packed together.

Chris G.

Yelp
Good mall to be at lots of places around as well. My daughter was thrilled because she got to meet a celebrity crush of hers who's a DJ now and does TikTok. He was big on a form called younow some broadcast app she was telling me about and he toured. But he lives around Houston somewhere but she was happy other girls seen and took pictures as well so if you see him say you know him from younow or TikTok he shared his TikTok with us it's @ thedjslim23 pretty good content. Great to meet a nice guy who was super chill. No security or anything anymore around him. He mentioned he was there to help someone out. Great food places and lots to see different than woodlands.

Yelp
Massage place was okay I didn't like that they try to trick you into going into there store and charge you more was going for a 10 min for $15 they said to come inside my husband didn't wanted a massage but ended up getting one they said it was with my massage they ended up charging us $25 each for 20 min when we pay the guy that charge us wanted a mandatory tip I declined politely and he still wanted tip. Other then that the mall is good place to go.

Jose M.

Yelp
Don't go to JD shoe store!! I went there in need of a shoe size for some NBs and i spent at least half an hour waiting and I got frustrated so I left and i'm never going again bad service
google avatar

Juan G.

Yelp
I went to galleria the other week and it was hot everywhere, dirty and crowded. Came here to deerbrook and complete opposite experience. It was clean and cool, recommended for weekday shenanigans.
google avatar

Bradley B.

Yelp
Overall the mall was clean and I felt safe. Most of the stores were occupied and that's something you really don't see it malls. It's actually kind of nice to be able to go to an actual physical store to do shopping instead of everything online. This mall is just right around the corner from my house. See you next time!
google avatar

Aaron T.

Yelp
Pretty cool mall. Deerbrook Mall is located in the heart of Humble between Kingwood, Humble, Old Humble and Atascocita. Really welcoming and quiet during the weekdays, however on the weekends beware! There are A LOT of children and teenagers that take over this mall, my best guess is because they don't have anything else to do in the Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita area. The amount of them is overwhelming, they are very loud and obnoxious, causing trouble with security and walk in everyones way. If you don't mind encountering those things over the weekend then you should have no problem shopping here. They have plenty of parking, surrounding stores pn the outside of the mall, movie theater inside and a wide variety of shopping stores to choose from.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Deer brook mall have been change to modern time and seem very keen and be sure they are comfortable to young's eye. Are they able to meet 70's, 80's ? P.s. this place have eye and feel like camera been watch me when I took a look. They flick the camera away from me
google avatar

D S.

Yelp
I pulled into a parking spot like 4 or 5 spots from the road at a quarter after 7 to take a phone call. I wasn't there 5 minutes when hefty rent a cop came flying toward my car in her shelby gt ford escape. She pulled right up to my window and started at me that it was private property and I needed to leave. I rolled down my window and she told me unless I was going to a movie I had to leave. I asked her if I was hurting anything being parked there and she told me I was hurting private property! Mall management should be ashamed for hiring such overzealous jerks to defend the sacred unused parking spots.
google avatar

Julia W.

Yelp
Has a good amount of stores that are interesting! I went to this location to watch a movie at the theater. I love the fact that the theater and mall are together as it gave me some time to walk around and shop. However the bathrooms are disgusting in jcpenny location and the theater. Sinks not working well, low, soap, and overall just plan dirty. The toilets we're pretty gross and it smells horrid.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
Low class stores with not a lot of selection. If you are a teenager who is looking for clothes to wear a couple times before getting rid of, this is the mall for you. There are definitely a ton of low end stores. With anchors of Macy's and Dillards, you would expect a more middle class mall, but you'd be wrong. I do appreciate that there is a Barnes and Nobles attached, which is why it gets a star. Overall, I wouldn't come here to do any shopping, but since it is air conditioned, you can always come here to get some walking in.
google avatar

Lorena T.

Yelp
Due to its proximity to where I live as well as the wide variety of stores I have to give Deerbrook a solid 4 star review. Lets start with the positives. There are several restaurants on the outskirts of the mall, there is a Barnes and Noble with a STARBUCKS! because you have to have coffee when your on a shopping spree. They have all the major large stores such as Macys, JCP, Sears and Dillards. And there are other affordable commericial name brands such as Victorias Secret, Abercrombie and Guess that offer higher quality clothes but doesn't make the mall pretentious. The place serves its purpose which is one area filled with stores to shop at. There is a movie theater, small food court and a Dicks sport shop. Now the negatives, if you are shopping during the holidays traffic is ridiculous since the main entrance of the mall is right off 1960 and the traffic flows off of 59. During off season its a breeze to get in and out of the mall with plenty of parking. You cant complain about it being full during the holidays because thats the point!! people are shopping....duh. The food court doesn't offer much of a variety outside of pizza, chinese and your every day fast food. The mall itself feels a bit dated but all in all it has what you need. Basic, convenient and not overwhelming.

Kim-Marie R.

Yelp
First off, I do not have anything to give even one star for.... But nevertheless I went into Victoria secret as I always do and for some ungodly reason I asked to speak with the manager on duty. After Brandy(the lingerie manager) couldn't talk to me directly; she spoke indirectly to me threw the associate. I asked her why could I not use my coupons and she proceeded to continue to ignore me. So I asked if their was another manager on duty since she couldn't and wouldn't assist me. I informed her this is the third time I've given them( that actual location another try and they still chose to fail with me. No professionalism, gave wrong number to corp office and ripped up my coupon and wrote on it saying it could still be used. I informed her that there is no way another store would authorize a torn up coupon. She then (Brandy) tapped the coupon back together and her attitude and customer service got worse from there. This location will not not get my service again! DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION AT ALL!!!!
google avatar

Thomas C.

Yelp
I went there to walk and shop. I am a disabled veteran and have to use a walker. I went to take the elevator to the second floor. It was out of order. There was no directions to find the closest elevator. Being in pain I was not not go to find one in a store. I just went home.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
I am quite surprised this mall had such low reviews. I'm not sure if these renovations are new but this place was really nice. I was looking to kill an hour in the humble area, so I decided to come here. They have good stores, lots of shoe stores. Their forever 21 is HUGE. The size of a department store. Their food court however, is kind of lame with 4 places that do fast food chinese. It has a very nice AMC 24 connected. It reminded me of Barton Creek Mall in Austin, which is always close to my heart.
google avatar

Eddie S.

Yelp
I would pick this mall anytime over greenspoint. I still feel uncomfortable about the parking lot situation since I do not see any security .
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
This mall has increased in attractiveness since I moved here four years ago. Besides the annoying peddlers, the mall is usually clean and busy. If I have to come at night by myself, I always park at the store closest to where I need to go. The Barnes and Noble is wonderful, AMC has several screening options, and they recently added a Pandora store.
google avatar

America M.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to this mall. Very big mall always clean and busy. They also have a AMC theater inside so that's a plus.
google avatar

Leena C.

Yelp
I hate malls! So this is no different...but I won't let that interfere with my rating. It's like any standard mall. The stores are standard- main stores are Macys, JCP, Sears, & Dillards. Along with the various retail stores, there is a movie theater inside the mall. I like to run in and run out and the only time I really spend time walking around in the mall is on Black Friday. There are far too many tweens running around in here on the weekends. it's like parents use it as a substitute babysitter....ughhh. They have also have a play area in the mall for smaller kids. Overall it's no worse than any other mall I've been to (except Northline, Greenspoint, Gulfgate and Northwest) ....if you're looking for trendy stores like Hollister, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Abercrombie and Fitch then you will fair well in here...along with the sporty chains - Footlocker, Finish Line and a few other independent shops....oh 1 plus is there is a Coach store in the mall..... I guess I'll give it a slight thumbs up
google avatar

Ada C.

Yelp
The mall looks a little bit run down and nothing compared to the fancy Memorial City Mall or The Galleria, and not even to the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land. It sorta reminds of the West Oak Mall. The Food Court seems interesting, and there's an AMC inside the mall. The best thing I've found in the Deerbrook Mall is the photo machine (see photo) at the Sanrio store located on the upper floor. The photo machine is fun to play with and costs only 5 bucks for a sheet of pictures. The location of the mall near the airport lets travelers do some last minute shopping, and I go to this mall only when I have to pick up some friends from the airport.
google avatar

Casey A.

Yelp
The Deerbrook Mall is my go to place to shop for anything I need. There's a great selection of stores but there are some odd stores that could be replaced with something better.

Jocelyn A.

Yelp
Even though I live 8 minutes from The Woodlands mall, I often like to come to the Deerbrook mall instead. I might be just a bit biased with this review and here's why: I grew up in the Humble area, so I have fond memories of coming to the mall with my family and my friends. It's nostalgic to me so I guess that's why I enjoy coming here so much. I've never been scared like other people have claimed to be. It's not a bad area and I wouldn't call it ghetto either. It's just more of an average area, unlike the snobs in The Woodlands -I worked there while I finished college, so many entitled people!- anyways, there could be some improvements to certain areas of the mall, but overall when I have time I will continue to make the drive to come to this mall. Also! The best nail lady works there! She's located at the entrance of the movie entrance side. Her name is Jenny. Go check her out!
google avatar

The Dark Knight G.

Yelp
It's a good mall the only complaint is that the movies are right next to the food court which makes me want to watch a movie after eating. But besides that it's a great mall the GameStop there is well organized and the staff isn't rude.
google avatar

Edgar R.

Yelp
Has a wide selection of stores . Has a lot of teenagers there though especially after school . Feels a little to much but if you pass that they have a lot of good things there
google avatar

Jesse B.

Yelp
It's a good mall... great even. Good shops, great food court. The AMC is the theater of choice in the area. However, pricey, across the board. It's not the Galleria or the woodlands mall. And yet, they feel they can charge as much as them this is a mall catered to mostly low to middle income households. But their Prices don't support said demographic. Good mall otherwise.
google avatar

Edwin R.

Yelp
Nice clean mall. 2 floors only nice selection of shops like footlocker-foot action-thirstys-amc-Barnes and noble-victoria secret-guess-Macy's-sears-forever 21 jut to name a few. Deerbrook mall has tons of entrances and tons of parking spaces, nice mall but not the best but it has potential in the future for better shops.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
So, this mall has never filled up. I don't know why. It's in the burbs, it's on a the crossroads of a freeway and a main road. It has at any given time had good anchor stores, yet for some reason, at least a third of this mall has been empty at one time or another. One of the main anchor spots has gone through several incarnations as well. The mall kind of has that "I'm failing" feel to me. On the weekends, as is fit for a mall, it is chock full of teenagers. That's OK if you are a teen or like teens. I don't, so I'm not given to go there on the weekends. There are also some problems in the mall and the parking lot with crime. Stolen car reports from the parking lot are frequent on Humble police blotter. My husband has also personally seen a kid come out of the men's room and flash a pistol. Hub alerted mall security who kind of put him off. For that reason, we don't go unless absolutely necessary, which is generally once a year to get a present at Dillards or Macy's and then we leave. In general, there are better and more safe places to go in the Humble area to get your shopping done.
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
My relationship with this mall started 10+ years ago in high school. It was amazing then. New, big and had one of the largest movie theaters around. I recently visited family back home for the holidays and took a pre xmas trip to one of my favorite malls growing up. wow this place sucks. The entire mall caters to children. All of the clothes are geared towards 13-16 year olds. (hollister, abercrombie, gap, pac sun, gamestop) The place is FULL of teenagers. I dont say that as a bad thing, just stating the facts. If you are a teen you probably enjoy it here otherwise I dont see very many shops to bring be back. There are a considerable amount of adult shops (cavenders, best buy) outside the mall and acros 59 but the mall itself is old, crowded with kids, and outdated.
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
I have my choice of mall's to go to as I live in a central area. I had to do some errands in this area and needed to get mac make up. My complaint is not the "gettoness" oe the crime in the mall. Let's face it guys. There is crime all over Houston. Pros of this mall: 1 it's a clean mall 2. There is a larger space than most Cons: The selection in the stores are very scarce! Barnes and noble did not have the variety of fiction books. All I saw was romance and teen fiction. Seriously! !! Dillards did not have a mac counter. So maceys here I come. Maceys did have a mac counter. But selections on other things were horrible!

Yelp
While I'm not really a mall person, Deerbrook Mall is conveniently located and has a good variety of stores, including a fairly large Barnes & Nobles, an AMC theater, Picture People and more. The surrounding mall grounds also have a large Hobby Lobby, a number of nice restaurants, and, if you include the area right across the freeway, you are within a 2 minute drive of pretty much every store you might need to shop at. If you will be shopping or watching a movie that gets you out after dark, it's safer to park under the AMC theater and always be aware of your surroundings. We made the mistake of parking in a side lot one evening when going to see a movie and felt very uncomfortable/nervous having to walk back after dark through several groups of rowdier teens hanging around outside. There were a number of cop cars at key points keeping an eye on things, so that makes it a little better, I guess, but in my opinion, try to avoid the after dark hours if possible in this area. Otherwise, this is a very nice mall. P.S. If you haven't already, you have to try one of the smoothies at that smoothie shop outside the AMC theater and be sure to get the Tapioca Balls. Yummm...

Brenner C.

Yelp
The mall has a variety of stores to select from to shop at. I'm sad that they removed AE

Yelp
Deerbrook Mall has gone down in quality since we moved to the area in 2009. I'm hopeful that the upcoming new anchor store will help improve overall shopping in the area. The Coach store, referenced in another review, closed quite without warning in January of 2015, and quite frankly there is nothing to drive our family to visit the mall. It's an average mall. Nothing outstanding in the area of restaurants or stores. The play area is abysmal, and was always so crowded and so unorganized, I did not want to let my daughter play when she was younger. Perhaps some of the new neighborhoods headed our way with the Grand Parkway expansion and the Exxon campus coming to the Woodlands area will bleed down to Humble and improve conditions at Deerbrook. It is in sore need of attention.

Yelp
Avoid those cookie kiosks..they are dangerous. This mall is getting more crowded by the year. I have been going to this mall since the 90's and it has come a long way with a ton of upscale shops like the Coach Store and Ann Taylor. If you HATE teenagers go M- Th during the daylight hours. Friday - Sunday it belongs to those little monsters.
