Somewhat positive- The food is pretty good. We got a shrimp plate and a salmon plate The shrimp platter was well seasoned but the salmon, not so much. It was too dry and crunchy in the wrong spots but that sauce that they put on the corn was really really good! The negative- the service was absolutely terrible!! They really need a new staff because that alone would make me not go back. And it took soooooooo long to get the food.

This food was FIRE!!!! Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. That sauce that they drown it in was so good! I never had turkey necks before and ate every bit of those. The crab was really good and the shrimps were perfectly cooked. Service was fine, atmosphere is 2 stars because it was hotter inside than outside so we took our food to go. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for good seafood that won’t hurt your wallet but get you enough food!

The $30 crab plate was disappointing. It looks good, but the crab was overly salty and dry. The shrimp was mushy & had a bad after taste. The corn tasted good but that’s not what I walked 25min here for. I came in super excited after reading the great reviews. I was so surprised and sad! Maybe this does not represent their normal skills, but I really think the cooking should improve especially for this price!

I didn't sit down but the vibe looked cool and the atmosphere was nice and clean. But let's get into the food and the customer service. Both were A+! The guy on the register was so friendly and pleasant, he made spending 104 dollars on a pan seafood totally normal lol. He sold sold it. Then for the seafood and fixings to be absolutely delicious! Nice portions, no half claws or anything and seasoning was great! Go check them out!

Was very disappointed they didn't offer crawfish the day we went because I had been following on socials and they were offered every other day. The shrimp was really hard to get into, but the sauce is amazing. Dungeons crab, corn, sausage, and potatoes were delicious!! The staff was excellent and accommodating too. A fantastic black owned business!!

Everything was incredible. There’s always a concern when ordering snow crabs at a new restaurant that they won’t be fresh - this was not the case! You get a ton of food with every order. We got the Snow and Dungeness and the crab meat in each cluster was fresh and sweet! The corn and potatoes were also ridiculously good paired with the butter sauce. Service was great and the restaurant and bathroom were super clean. 10/10

We ordered 3 items: 1/2 dozen oysters ~$16.50, snow clusters $23.99 and Dungeness clusters $23.99 via uber eats. Only received 2items! Even though we let uber know instantly they refused any refund for the missing item. Paid over ~$85 just for this! The oysters were super salty. So was the crab. But the crabs in itself was good. The sauce is very different from what they have in other cities. I wish they responded to the issue. Especially when I tried to let them know instantly what went wrong.

Nice location , service was outstanding but the food yeah I wasn't crazy about it at all . Everything was cold except the potatoes, the corn was half cooked , the Turkey necks were flavorful . The sauce was a bit bland but maybe I should have asked for more .

The food is amazing and the garlic butter is addicting. I love how even the crab legs are chargrilled

Appearance Colorful wall panels. black chairs inside. Menu easy to read. Music pays but a bit loud to the point orders were getting messed up. Service Place was packed & under staffed. Counter girl kept her cool. She did the best she could under the circumstances. Circumstances Ran out of side orders & shrimp. Instead of announcing it, you go to the counter & ask for your food then get the hot sauce ran out of half the menu. Waited over an hour for take out. Mind you every single Uber or door dash order came back. Outcome I don't know how they stay in business. Good customer service counter help. Food??? Got a refund after told out of food. Has potential but needs new management & a chef not a cook that knows food & demand. Good luck! No for me.

This review is for their Lake Forest location that I could not find on Yelp. So I wanted to support business located in the east and I heard this place opened up recently. No one wanted to go with me so I went by myself. I ordered crab legs, corn, and French fries. Every thing I had was delicious. No doubt about that. Whatever sauce they put on the crab was delicious and flavorful. Not spicy at all. I only have two pieces of feedback. One, I had to ask two different people for crab crackers and utensils. Pretty difficult to eat crabs without a cracker. It should be standard provided equipment. The second is, wet wipes and a place to put the finished shells. The sauce made it messy messy and I had nothing to wipe my hands with. I ended up having to go to the restroom to wash my hands but couldn't bring my purse or phone because I could not touch it.

The food is great. I enjoyed the $25 seafood special and love the garlic butter flavor. ThisNO East gem is the best.

Between the bartenders and the owner, this establishment is tacky, disorganized, and unprofessional. I came w a party of 8 and paid $20 per person to partake in the "tap out" special. $20 for unlimited drinks between 8-10. My party was the first to get here, and ordered food. Between 8-9, we all got one drink. Once it got busy, you find yourself standing at the bar for over 15 mins trying to get the next drink. Then when the bartender yells at you cuz you lock eyes and raise your hand to get him to stop ignoring you. We asked for our money back because there's no was in hell I'm paying $20 for one drink at a hole in the wall establishment. And the music is so fuckin loud you can't even hear each other talk. If you come here, you have been forewarned. And the food ain't even good. Save your money

Now don't sleep on this place !! Seafood boil, come and get it !! This place is in a residential area and is easily missed. Simply decorated, but you not here for the deco. The seafood boil we had waa served with neck bone, corn, large shrimp, potatoes , crabs legs , and the amazing garlic sauce. So please go and visit and thank me after

On a recent visit to New Orleans, my niece who lives there recommended this restaurant. What a delight. Before you walk in the door you can smell the delicious scents of seafood. I knew at that point I was in for a real treat. Our server was Nell, he was absolutely AWESOME! The restaurant had no soda, so Nell went to the store to get one for each member of our party, even offered to get any other drinks we may have wanted. We each ordered a seafood boil and let me say YUMMY! Everything was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was epic. Thank you Nell for a wonderful meal and experience!

Finally had a chance to experience what everyone has been raving about. We had the seafood boil with king crabs, lobster, shrimp, corn, potatoes and turkey necks. I will say it was okay. If you love butter, you will love the boiled seafood. I taste mostly butter but barely no other seasoning. The service was good and the lady that took our order was very nice and friendly. This is a neighborhood restaurant with mostly pickup and go orders

When I visit New Orleans this place is a must! First off the food is GREAT I've always enjoyed my food here. A major part of that must be the quality. It's so refreshing to see businesses that care about the quality over a sale. I placed a order but owner wasn't particularly happy with the quality of the batch he had received so he didn't want to sell it. He gave his apology and helped us choose something else. He more than made up for our craving with southern hospitality and good food. He's very genuine with integrity and knows how to bring back a guest. I will forever make a stop here whenever I'm in town just to support. Many blessing to this owner!

We had the Bayou Plate on Saturday when we arrived in town. It was simply delicious and very filling!. The drinks were ver good and mixed well. We went back on Sunday as well and had the same experience. Great staff and location (Lake Forest)!

$30 for 6 shrimps and some fish strips. I expected my meal to have a little more like on the IG pics but that wasn't the case. I was disappointed about that but at least it tasted okay.
