"In 2012, Del Frisco’s Double Edge Steak House took over a renovated space in the Esquire Theater and five years later added a bar, Esquire Champagne Room, upstairs. Like Cooper’s Hawk after them, the Del Frisco’s chain sought to make a splash and elevate its brand by staking a space in Chicago’s prestigious Gold Coast. Del Frisco’s vacated Gold Coast in 2017, a year after the Champagne Room debuted." - Ashok Selvam

"Steakhouse Del Frisco’s Shellfish Plateau is arranged to feed two or more guests, with the market price ranging between $95 to $100. The assortment includes about one pound of Alaskan King Crab legs, six shrimp, and four pieces of chilled crab claws. Cocktail sauce and mustard sauce land on the side, and guests can add on a chilled lobster cocktail for $18 or Jumbo Lump Crab Louie for $16." - Kat Odell

Visited for Valentine's dinner. The place is gorgeous! The lighting, the wine cellars and the wrought-iron railings are beautiful! Not to mention the dinner and service was perfect. Asked for something not on their Valentine's Day menu and they made it happen!

I took my good friend for his birthday and WHAT.A.BLAST! Our server provided us with the best service I have ever received! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were delicious. We have asked for certain recommendation and we are so happy we did! The server was also able to give us a tour around the restaurant and walk us through the wine tower which was amazing and informative. I will recommend Del Frisco to all my friends and family and for any special occasion.

First time for me to visit this location. The staff were welcoming, but it was very empty, and the size of the restaurant didn't help hide the fact, and where every other restaurant in that area was pretty much full. We all enjoyed the food however, specially the bone in filet mignon and the sea bass. We also enjoyed the Banana bread pudding. The cheese cake was just OK, I would not order it again. Note that it is a pricy place to dine (the steak was for 69 bucks).

Nice restaurant off Michigan Ave in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Enjoyed the drinks and steak was perfect as was the dessert. Decor is nice.

Typical high end Chicago steakhouse. Enjoyed the double tomahawk (carved table side) and black truffle mashed. Both amazing. Champagne lounge was a nice after dinner treat.

Stopped in for a quick refreshment while in Chicago and gave their VIP a try. DELICIOUS!! Very attractive restaurant and bar area. Can't wait to give the restaurant a try next time.

Here for a birthday celebration. I got there early, so I stopped at the bar. I ordered a Manhattan. It was pretty basic, and I overheard other people attempting to order drinks, and they couldn't make them because of a lack of ingredients. The party was supposed to begin at 6.30pm, but was delayed because the room wasn't ready. Once we were seated I ordered the lobster bisque, it was very good. I also had a crab cake. Though I enjoyed the fact it was mostly crab without fillers, it lacked flavor. For my entree I ordered the medillions. This was very good, cooked to perfection. And even though this was a party of 20, the service was excellent. Very attentive, and they kept the table clean. It was all in all a good experience.
