This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the manager, Caesar, who complimented me immediately. He made me feel so beautiful and special as I told him it was my birthday. Then, as I sat down with my boyfriend Will, the waiter was absolutely just so sweet kind and had a great personality. The food was absolutely delectable. The food came out at a really great time nice and hot and everything was so fresh and delicious. The crabcakes were absolutely phenomenal, and the bacon was to die for. We both ordered steak with lobster mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and truffle fries. The serving sizes were perfect as we had enough to take home. Both Will and Cesar really went above and beyond to make my birthday really special with just some amazing treats they sent over. Honestly, celebrating my birthday at Del fresco’s was such a wonderful choice. The food was great. The service was top-notch and I left feeling just so pleased with my experience. Thank you again to Cesar and Will for being so amazing! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as I have already done so!

We had just made it to town, were hungry, and didn't want to shop around for food. My wife and I dined here the last time we were in town and loved our meal. So, dining hear again was a no brainer.. Del Frisco's it is. Our second time didn't disappoint either We ordered steaks, cocktails, appetizers and wine. For the cocktails, she had the Passion Fruit Margarita, and I had the Whistle Pig Barrel Aged Manhattan. The cocktails were on point. Additionally, we both had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. For the appetizer we went with the Thick-Cut Nueske’s Bacon and the Charred Octopus. The Bacon was excellent, smokey and delicious. The Octopus was disappointing. It was overcooked and chewy, so we had to send that one back. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Braised Angus Short Rib and was later informed that it was sold out, so she settled for the Filet Mignon, and I had the Bone-In Prime Ribeye. For our sides we had fries, broccolini and the Classic Caesar. Oh, and not to mention, that wonderful warm bread for the table. All of the meats were cooked to perfection, the sides were great, but on a side note... the side of fries was way more then we expected. I would say was enough for 5 people. The steak house itself has a nice sexy ambiance, but still chill enough for the fellas to grab a meal or hang at the bar. The service was great, our waiter M.D. was very professional and attentive. He was very apologetic for the mess up on the Short Rib order and the over cooked Octopus. Even the Supervisor, (Kristin), came over and checked on us to make sure we were good and chatted with us about the New York food scene. Thank you both for a good time.

However, the Shrimp Greek Salad I received during my recent visit was disappointing and did not reflect the steakhouse standards I associate with Del Frisco’s. I chose your restaurant specifically for a birthday lunch, expecting a meal aligned with your reputation and price point. The salad consisted primarily of lettuce — some visibly browned — with no cheese included and only three shrimp. The portioning and overall presentation fell below expectations for a restaurant positioned at your level. As this was intended to be a celebratory meal, it was disheartening to leave feeling underwhelmed. We frequent here for all major celebrations because the steak is unbeatable and the atmosphere is nice. This is genuinely one of my favorite steakhouses in the world. Its one of those rare place where no matter what you choose on the menu you do so with confidence that it will be delicious. It is pricey of course but the flavor more than delivers, the quality is top notch and the portion sizes are truly *american*. It is also very lively inside (for dinner) but quiet enough to have conversations. The tall ceilings and large windows create a spacious atmosphere.

Well its amazing steak. Pretty much what you would expect from a high end steak house and it doesn't disappoint. Excellent service (including finding a Calvados for post dinner digestif) and down right excellent steaks. Managed to visit 4 times in 2 weeks, which could be classed as a little excessive

I really liked the food. Me and son came here for a univerwity accepted student luncheon. I would definitely come back here again. The salmon was delicious, so was thr bread, salad and cheesecake

Food service and Ambiance was all great! Especially over the holiday season! We didn't have a reservation but , were able to get a seat at the top floor bar. It was delicious

Delicious bread to start our meal. We've been to multiple Del Friscos, first to this location. Everything was fantastic. From bread to the bacon to the entree. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was perfect! So stuffed that we couldnt get dessert. Hopefully next time! Parking was a bit rough. Drove around for 20mins and decided to park in the lot.

Hard to decide whether a 3 or a 4, but in this category of restaurants I was disappointed. Steaks were perfect accept one. It was well done when requested medium rare. Had to send back and wait while the rest of the party enjoyed their meal. Second steak came out & it was raw. Sent it back again & said don't bother. Fish was plain but fresh. Sides were delicious. They made up for the problem with deserts & Sauterne. Friendly & apologetic staff. In the end they took good care of us and would definitely return.

If you're looking for somewhere to go for a special holiday treat, this is the place A great meal. A very expensive meal. Service was on point. The restaurant is huge spread across two floors. When we went upstairs to our table, I was amazed to see how many big tables they had and that they're able to crank out the food so quickly and correctly. The bread they serve at the start is so good. I could have eaten it all night. Sweet. Soft. Buttery. Wagyu meatballs amazing. Short ribs some of the best I've ever had served over a bed of delicious mashed potatoes. Everyone loved the food. We had a few of the desserts, all good choices. Only downside was we had a reservation for 8:30 and arrived at 8:15. We were not sat until 9pm. They kept telling us the table that was reserved for us had people sitting at it who paid and we're done eating, but wouldn't get up Most restaurants would ask people to get up and move to the bar and offer a free round of drinks or find some kind of a solution, but no solution was found for us except to say sorry. There were 10 of us, 5 who were were very hungry kids, not an ideal situation especially at these prices.

Service: The service started off strong but slowed down towards the end. We were left with empty water glasses for a while, which was a bit disappointing for the price point. Food: Salmon: Absolutely perfect. The fish was cooked just right, and the asparagus was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely ordering this again next time. Deviled Eggs: Another standout. The bacon topping really elevated the dish. I'll be ordering these again too. 8oz Filet Steak: My friend loved it, and the cheese topping was definitely the highlight. Ambiance: The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the action. We walked over after a Radio City show and then headed straight to Times Square. Perfect spot for tourists! Overall: While the service lagged a bit, we came at a busy time, and the staff was hustling to turn tables quickly. The food and location made up for the minor delay, and I'd give this a 10/10 for our trip. Looking forward to coming back!

The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic! We celebrated my birthday here during a trip to New York, and I'm so glad I chose this place. We had a reservation for six and were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Everything we ordered was delicious. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the sides--creamed corn, baked potato, broccolini, crab fried rice, and mashed potatoes--were all flavorful and satisfying. The desserts are an absolute must-try, especially the butter cake. As for drinks, the espresso martini with hazelnut was a crowd favorite. The ambiance was a cute romantic candle light place with two levels. Very elegant. Side note: There was a small hiccup with a piece of plastic found in the creamed corn and baked potato. However, the manager immediately addressed the issue, checked on me personally, replaced the dishes, and even gave me her business card in case I needed further assistance. She went above and beyond, pulling the items from the kitchen to investigate further. I was truly impressed with how professionally and thoroughly they handled the situation. This level of customer service is rare, and it made an already great experience even better. I highly recommend Del Frisco's and would definitely return on my next trip!

I always enjoy myself here. Delicious food, knowledgeable staff in regard to food accompaniment, We recently had broccolini, mash potatoes, lobster mac, filet medallions, classic cesar, bone in ribeye, surf and turf trio, butter cake, lemon cake, chocolate and drinks of course. We had a great window view and I can always expect the atmosphere to be lovely here.

We went to celebrate my soulmate's special day last weekend. We always have a wonderful experience at this beautiful location. The server at Delfrisco was nice but corrected us when we asked for the Shellfish Tower. She said, "You mean the Seafood Tower. You'll get 1 of everything." We asked, "only 1?" She confirmed, so we told her we wanted 2 of everything. We found out she placed double orders of each seafood appetizer. I think she should have clarified that we get "1 set" of each seafood. It was a little misleading - the bill went over 500 bucks before the tip. We still left a generous tip because she was nice and friendly. We both enjoyed the tower, the entrees, and the desserts. All in all, it was a wonderful evening. We will be back, but we'll make sure to have the server clarify if we order anything out of the ordinary.

I dined here and had a great experience from start to finish. I ordered the Lobster, Mac and cheese, asparagus and Ribeye steak for my entrees...Crab cake, and Oysters as appetizer... Everything was on point. The ribeye was cooked tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Ordered my steak medium and it had a nice sear on the outside but steak melts in your mouth. The crab cake had big chunks of crab and favored well too. The oysters were fresh and sweet. The waiter was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and made recommendations that we went with and was satisfied.Overall, Del Frisco's exceeded my expectations in every way. From the food to the excellent service, and ambiance this is a steakhouse I'd recommend for anyone. It's definitely a splurge, but worth it for the quality and experience you receive!

Alejandro, who took care of us during our very important anniversary, was above and beyond great. His suggestions on items we never tried was spot on. His friendliest and attentiveness was unmatched by any server we have encountered. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is by far one of the best when it comes to producing certain dishes. I won't go into our whole menu but what I will say is that Alejandro navigated us through some of the best restaurant experience, during Valentine's Day at that, which everyone needs to immediately request to assist you. The man has game and everything was great.

Every Del Friscos bring their special touch depending on the city you're visiting. The staff were quick and professional, services always top notch at this place. The food was delicious with every bit. The steaks are always great at every but the double bone pork chop definitely will give any steak a run for the money.

We came here for a team lunch and we all enjoyed our lunch here. I order Wagyu Cheesesteak that comes with fries and it was flavorful. My teammates had lobster bisque and filet medallions which were delicious according to them. We went at a busy lunchtime so it took like 40-50 mins for the main dishes to serve. Other than that, everything was great!

We booked a reservation at Del Frisco's for Thursday August 29th on our 15th wedding anniversary. Sean took beyond excellent care of us on our anniversary night. Sean was extremely knowledgeable of all things on the menu, extremely detailed, and accurate with his description of our options. We split a wedge salad, then I got the 45 day aged ribeye and added the Gorgonzola dressing on top, it was an excellent choice/cut of steak. Wifey got the 6 oz wagyu, with side of lobster tail that was chopped and soaking in truffle butter. We also shared the mash potatoes & creamed spinach. All the food was excellent, but the topper might've been this crisped cake with ice cream they gave us for our anniversary. Holy cow was it good. One of the best desserts I've ever had. This place is a true true 5-stars, food & service both lived up to the billing. We will be back.

We came here as a reservation for a family on Christmas Eve. However, that could have been our fault for making the reservation on such a busy day. However, they did not treat us well in service. Our server was so unattended, they were so unprofessional, they were complaining to us, they forgot about the promises they made to us, we never got the bread, we saw other tables being treated as a priority and we were left in a corner behind. I was so embarrassed to take my family here on Christmas. However, the manager did step out to talk to us and she really had a great heart to apologize about the service. She's welcoming us back in a different location to accommodate our travels and I hope that the other location will treat us better. Aside from the service, I would recommend trying to get a table upstairs, downstairs feels a little secluded from everybody. The lobster mac & cheese was by far the best lobster mac & cheese I've ever had! So the food doesn't disappoint, just know you may not get the best service. However, like I said, this may be due to a very busy holiday season

We went in at around 3pm for a quick meal before the ball game. There wasn't a wait and we were afraid of our attire and they put us at a skirted table. It didn't matter because many people that came in after us were wearing total street clothes. It took a minute for someone to come and greet us and place our order. We shared a steak and fries. It has been a long time since I've had a decent steak... this did not disappoint if anything it wanted us to want more steak on our quick trip. I had a yummy dirty martini and espresso martini. Can't wait to visit again!

I got the business lunch special, and chose the caesar salad and filet medallions. It looked small from the pictures but the medallions were hefty and I ended up taking one home. They were also flavorful! I'd get this again - great deal, I'm confused by the other reviews on this.

I've wanted to eat at this steakhouse chain for years and I finally made my way to this location in New York. I want to be clear the service was PERFECTION. From the moment I wanted in and was greeted, the person who sat me, the person who gave me directions to the bathroom, the managers, and my lovely waiter were all PERFECT!!! Definitely in my top five for best all time service and I travel and eat out a lot. The food: the steak was cooked perfectly, the bread was fresh, hot and delicious, mushrooms side item were a great spread of well seasoned and cooked items, loaded baked potato wonderful dinner. I also had a delicious glass of wine and it was a cold and flavorful. The dessert, not so much. I got the lemon cake and I assumed it would be room temperature and it was ice cold which was odd and ruined the experience. My waiter offered to take it off the bill but I'm a firm believer in I asked for it so I won't waste it. Finally, to end the evening I watched the manager come over and check in on everyone in the dining area downstairs, I LOVE THIS! He was polite, smiled, made it quick and simple and was gone. If you've read my reviews before I'm about good management service. I'd come back, 100%. This location is a classic and exactly the way I wanted to experience it. Can't wait to come back.

I've worked in this building for almost 20 years, and only been a handful of times. A few times for lunch, once for dinner and once for dessert. So let me try to sum it up as best as possible. There are a lot of steakhouses in NYC. Some great, some good and some just ok. This one is good. It's part of the Lone Star group/chain. But don't let that discourage you. The steaks, burgers, lunch salads and desserts were all great every time I went. There are a lot of options here, price wise. A place you can go and not spend a lot of money or you can shoot the moon. I did that once with a group of co-workers in the middle of a blizzard. Drinks, apps. seafood tower and big cuts of meats. What a party !!! The last time I went, I had the steak salad for lunch. It was scrumptious, filling and a bargain at $28.00. The desserts are huge, so order one and share. One other thing to note is the service is impeccable.

This is one of my go to steakhouses. It's never disappointed on food or drinks, and the service is always at the very least very good, but when the group of us that normally goes gets our regular wait staff - it's spectacular. First, the food... they've revamped the menu to include Kobe beef and more variety of A5 wagyu. Not many steakhouses in America have real Kobe beef, so it was a surprise when I saw it. It is expensive though... as it's considered the highest quality beef in the world. The appetizers that we usually get (group of 7+) - carpaccio (excellent) or steak tartare (first time I had tried this particular delicacy was at DF... and it did not disappoint. The wagyu meatballs are also very good. Thick cut bacon always hits the spot. I also really love their wedge salad - "THE" steakhouse salad if you're going to order one. The steaks - can't go wrong with anything... I've tried their filet (recommend getting the bigger one and the "all the sauces" option - get a good variety to choose from, really hits the spot. They have outstanding ribeyes, including their 32oz Tomahawk prime ribeye. If you have a big appetite - the tomahawk won't disappoint. They're very consistent... every time I've visited - steaks are always on point. The only thing I'll warn about is the bone in filet - it's not a traditional cut... it cooks a lot more rare towards the bone, so not even all the way through. I just don't order it anymore... too much other great options. The drinks - if you're a lover of cocktails and variety to choose from - they have it all. My favorite drink (not on the menu, but they make it great) - Boulevardier ... basically a negroni with bourbon instead of gin, I prefer it with Woodford reserve, which they have always had the times I went... Bulleit bourbon is a good substitute though. From their menu - I really liked The VIP, which has New Amsterdam Tangerine Orange Vodka & Golden Pineapple.. it's light and sweet, def a sneak up type of drink - so be careful. My wife likes their hazelnut espresso martini which has Ketel One Vodka, Caffè Borghetti, Hazelnut, Fresh Espresso. That's all I've tried... they also have a very deep wine menu... we always go for the Italian reds and they never miss. The dessert - I like their signature warm butter cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream... i usually get it with an espresso (sometimes with Sambuca on the side)... their lemon doberge cake and tiramasu creme brulee are also very popular with our group. They also have dessert cocktails which I usually stay clear of, only because I don't like to mix too much, else it will upset my stomach. I have tried their Hennessy Alexander - it's good if you didn't drink heavy before/during dinner. Ambiance - It gets loud at times, usually very busy in the evening, but not so loud that you can't enjoy a convo at the table. I prefer to be seated upstairs or we get a private room when we have a large party (15-20 people). Hopefull this review helps anyone looking at steakhouses in NYC and having trouble deciding. Would highly recommend that you try to book at least a week ahead of time, especially if you plan on coming on a Friday or Saturday night.

I think we ordered too much food but it was all good! Del Frisco's delivered just what I thought it would as a steakhouse. Our food was amazing! We had a crab cake for appetizer. For dinner we had filets, surf and turf, dynamite shrimp, chateau mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, truffle fries, and roasted broccolini. Needless to say, we left with full bellies, and not any room for dessert.

We went on a Friday night thinking it'll be super busy but it was about 1/2 full. There were many reservations opened online. We got seated quickly. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered a bunch of things and 1 cocktail, and 1 glass of wine. I didn't love my espresso martini... but the server offered to replace it. (I don't like wasting so I just kept my drink) we ordered: meatball, bacon, broccolini, tomahawk steak with truffle butter, and mashed potatoes. The meatballs came in 2 huge balls smothered in tomato sauce. This was okay. I liked the bacon more than the steak- very tender and flavorful. Also, our bread came out after our appetizers, which was hot and fluffy. Our steak could've been more tender but this was just really okay. I think it was too much tendon or something that was making it on the tougher side. Potatoes were creamy and broccolini had a great crunch. We ordered the lemon cake but didn't love it. It tasted very artificial vanilla? I'm not sure. Overall, I think this place is a one time thing for me. I liked our server but not enough to come back. The vibes weren't there for me.

We had a 9 o'clock reservation for 6 on Christmas Eve. We were seated on the nice round table in the main hall next to the window with the view of the Christmas tree and the buzz of 6th avenue. Great wine selection from What can be reasonably priced and menu was easy to understand. Me and my wife shared a 24 oz porterhouse, my 2 sons ordered prime rib eyes each, my daughter in law ordered lamb rack and my other son ordered the chilian sea bass over crab fried rice. We had creamy corn, truffle French fries, broccolini and Cesar salad. The steaks were done perfectly came in hot plates which I love. They tasted amazing. We also shared a bottle of a super Tuscan. The only reason why I would give it a minus one from perfect is that the order came too long at almost 1 hour.

It was ok I went there with a date for Valentine's Day, mid at best, food was edible ig. got sat next to 2 loud children, one of which wiped his nose on my sleeve, and when I asked the host to move us she said "I was expecting this would happen" then even after we were moved I still couldn't hear my date because the music was so loud.

We went on a business luncheon and had the most amazing experience. Our waiter, Gabriel or "Gabe" was amazing. I did not really have a lunch menu, but he did tell us about some things we could get on a lighter side. Most of our group of 10 got salads or a lobster roll. Everything was delicious. The best part was the appetizers that we started with. Calamari was sweet and spicy, the wagu meatballs were huge and the tuna tartar was the best we've ever had. We shared two bottles of wine as well. The ambiance is great and when they lifted the window blinds, the place was so bright and beautiful. I highly recommend it!!

This is not the first time I've been here but it will definitely be the last ! NAHHHH JUST PLAYIN. The ambiance is far too captivating to let pass by. The food is stellar and the staff is exemplary. Especially our food bringer, Roberto. He was so eloquent when bringing our meals to the table. He even caught a glass my clumsy step mother knocked over in mid-air!! He took it to the kitchen and gave us a new one since he had to touch it on the glass part . The wine person was also very very knowledgeable. I think his name was Christof. All in all the best place ever !!

Went back after a few months for office Christmas lunch. Our table was ready on arrival for the reserved time. The restaurant was very well maintained as usual, with beautiful Christmas decorations around the restaurant indoor and outdoor. We all got different streaks. Everyone loved the steaks. I throughly enjoyed my Prime Rib eye, moist, tender, perfectly cooked. Loved the lobster mac and cheese as well, great quality. Service was marvelous, steaks came out within a decent wait time.

I got the octopus which was very tender with a nice crisp to the outside/ends. I thought it paired excellently with the calabrian chili romesco which added a nice red pepper fruitiness, a touch of spice, and a punch of garlic. Just the right size given we were walking and eating the whole day. I also got to try some of the ribeye and strip steaks which were both cooked to medium rare. The ribeye was super tender and the strip steak had a nice meaty taste. The mashed potatoes were a great side, with a good mix of creamy potatoes, chunky bits, and potato skin. I didn't get a photo but the portion size on the potatoes was huge. Also the bread was very addictive with a healthy amount of melted butter and salt on top. It was so good we even asked for a second serving even if it is a filler. Surprisingly no red wine available, with only cocktails and some sparkling white wines that I saw

Food was absolutely delicious and our service was super funny and helpful. The restaurant was set up for the holidays and had a very cozy vibe. Definitely recommend for a cute date night.

This place is just amazing. First off it is really expensive so you must expect that when going in. I loved the appetizers the wagyu meatballs were amazing and the truffle fries were perfect very crunchy and melted in the mouth, goes well with ketchup. I also really enjoyed the meatballs with the chili peppers it was a perfect blend with the sauce be sure to dazzle it all on top. Okay so the Kobe steak was like freakin amazing like the best steak I've had on this planet earth. It is the softest meat imported from Japan and the cow is bred to perfection there's nothing like this. And can't forget the Prime ribeye which was just amazing and so juicy I loved it. Everything was cooked to perfection and you can tell they take their job seriously and want perfection in every bite. 10/10 go there, go now!

Quick last minute visit to one of my favorite steakhouses chains. Tonight was quiet. Our food was delicious although one of our steaks was grossly undercooked As a chef, I don't understand how anyone that works in a steakhouse this good doesn't know how to cook a steak perfectly. Regardless, our waiter, Chris, was professional and did an outstanding job. They don't get better than Chris.

My work friends and I dined here for the restaurant week dinner menu. I had the caesar salad, and filet mignon. No complaints, filet sliced like butter. We shared the chocolate mousse, cheesecake and butter cake. Butter cake was my favorite. Very rich and delicious. I will complain about our server. He was unbelievably annoying as he kept rushing us with each course. And I must say, the restaurant was NOT busy. There were free tables so I could not understand the server's need to rush us out. It most definitely dampened my first time dining experience at this location. Maybe I will try again another time.

Our waitress tried her best and was personable but was harried and had too much for anyone to handle. Absences and some things ordered not delivered. The place was packed and tables tightly packed in and quite loud. It was the holidays. The steak and sides were fine but below the standard I would expect at a fine steakhouse at these prices. We shared the crabcakes and bacon as appetizers which was very good - the crabcakes were full of crab but somewhat diminutive for the price.

We visited the restaurant after seeing the Lion King. We were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the approx 12 + foot windows are amazing. The food was all that we expected and then more. I had the wagyu meatballs as an appetizer and they didn't disappoint. I had the surf and turf and the medallions were like mini filets; tender, flavorful and delicious! My husband had a porterhouse and it must've been good because he devoured all of it. The service was impeccable. We asked for things that weren't on the menu and our waiter went above and beyond to inquire and provide if available. The entire experience was excellent. Highly recommend.

I came here with very high expectations, which is probably one of the downfalls of being a steakhouse in NYC. While the experience was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The food was good, but nothing really stood out. I liked the Dynamite Shrimp appetizer. The sides fell a little short for me (we got the Crab Fried Rice and the Potatoes Au Gratin). My steak was as expected, although slightly more cooked than I had ordered it. My brother's steak was served raw - he had it sent back twice and it came to the table a third time undercooked. At that point, everyone else at the table had already finished their meal. How does a steakhouse mess that up? The staff and manager were extremely apologetic and handled the situation appropriately, by comping his steak and providing free desserts for the table. The waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the experience overall.

Fabulous meal with excellent service. Packed house and lively bar scene. I haven't been here for awhile but can't wait to go back. I was stuffed because I ordered so much and I'm so happy I have leftovers for lunch.

I had an amazing experience at Del Frisco's on Sunday. We went to celebrate my Husband's birthday and Erica the AGM made sure to make it happen. We sat down in a booth with Shirley our waitress took our order. She made sure to ask us if we were allergic to anything before our meal was being prepared. The steak was cooked medium rare the mash potatoes was also delicious. I'm coming back for sure. Thank you Erica and Shirley for an amazing experience.

Del Frisco's has always been one of my favorite steakhouses. The consistency is top-notch, and the service is excellent. You can never go wrong with the filet mignon (my personal favorite cut), perfectly cooked to medium with a side of Béarnaise sauce. I always start with the tuna tartare, served with delicious, crispy prawn chips. And don't miss out on the thick-cut bacon with bourbon glaze--it's a must-try! While all the sides are great, you have to order one. I usually go for the creamed spinach or grilled asparagus; they're staples. The vibes here are always great, so treat yourself once in a while!

Service was impeccable!!! Ambiance was exactly what you'd expect from a NYC restaurant. Now the problem.....the food was meh Salt, salt, and more salt. The soup was completely over salted. Whipped potatoes had way way too much salt. Steak was overly salty too! I guess their chef is heavy handed with the salt because if anyone has any medical issues this is a place to avoid. The Chilean Seabass was mediocre and not fresh.

Expensive but worth the price for perfect service in midtown manhattan. The bread and filet lotion were excellent.

TLDR; great service, steak was heavily seasoned with pepper, apps and sides were delicious. Del Frisco's is a well known steakhouse in the city. I came during a weekday lunch and it was packed. We had a reservation so we were seated fairly quick once our whole party arrived. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Upon seating, warm butter loaves were served and they were amazing. It was pillowy soft and buttered well but not overdone. The top also had a beautiful glaze that was slightly crispier than the rest of the bread and the little flakes of salt were the perfect touch. We ordered several appetizers for the table. - Del's Jumbo Crab Cake: one of my favorites. There was so much crab meat and not stuffed with fillers so you can really taste the crab. It was on top of a cajun-lobster cream sauce that added more flavor too. - Smoked Salmon French Toast: they definitely know how to do the bread well cause the french toast was also light and fluffy while not too sweet. It was a nice sweet and salty combo but there's so many other great apps on the menu so I'd skip this. - Shrimp Cocktail: huugeeee pieces of shrimp! Chilled to the perfect texture and served with cocktail sauce and spicy miso mustard sauce. Nice snap in each bite. - Tuna Tartare: my favorite appetizer of the meal! Lots of tuna and avocado. Served with prawn chips that were fried perfectly, not oily at all, and a lovely accompaniment to the tartare. There were also so many textures going on - creamy avocado with the fresh tuna and the popping tobiko on top of the crunchy chip! - Classic Caesar Salad: simple, crisp romaine leaves, very refreshing. Not too much dressing either. For entrees, I got the 45 day dry-aged prime ribeye. It was cooked perfectly but my only con is that it was covered in so much pepper. I was basically scraping off the pepper since it was overpowering in flavor. Other than that, it was a great steak. I also got the try the seared chilean sea bass which was absolutely amazing. It was cooked perfectly, so tender and flakey. It was also sitting on top of crab fried rice that was one of the best crab fried rice I've had. I think I also liked this over the steak. Of course, we also ordered multiple sides. - Roasted Wild Mushrooms: I love mushrooms so this was great, not too salty and the perfect texture. - Truffle French Fries: thin fries with a mix of crispy and limp ones. There was light truffle flavor and shaved parm on top. It was just alright. - Lobster Mac & Cheese: delicious. So cheesy and creamy. The pasta shells were mini and cooked to al dente. There was a good amount of lobster and the crunchy top was a great contrast in texture to the creamy mac. - Truffle Twice Baked: surprisingly one of the best sides. Mix of creamy and chunky potato underneath a blanket of cheese. The truffle flavor really stood out - there was truffle on top as well as mixed under the cheese top. - Creamed Spinach: I'm usually a fan of creamed spinach but this one was a bit too liquidy for me. It had smoked bacon which added a nice savoriness and wasn't too salty but just too much cream. - Sautéed Spinach: such a simple side but I liked it better than the creamed spinach. It was also cooked in plenty of garlic which was delicious. Overall, I had a great experience here. They even came around to make sure that the steak was to our liking. Despite too much pepper on the steaks, it was delicious. Sides were great and the apps were very fresh!

Came here for a close friends last bachelor meal before tying the knot. They seated us before awe all arrived, definitely a great thing. We ordered two of the seafood towers for the table and it was easily able to feed our whole group of 15. It was very fresh and delicious as well. They were out of the dry aged ribeye so i opted for the bone in ribeye. It had a nice cook and crust in it but wasn't something I'd pay $95 for in the future. I recommend. Getting the old fashioned and substituting the liquor to woodfore instead of bullit. It's a location where you can talk easily and enjoy a large gathering or an intimate date

Absolutely amazing, as always. My family and I visit New York often, and this was our third time back at Del Frisco's. We always make a reservation, but the service is always impeccable. The staff are so kind. Our waiter this time, Joshua, was fabulous. He was so attentive and personable, made us feel right at home. He even covered our desert! He was amazing!The ambiance is always great, an upscale yet relaxing dinner experience with a wonderful view. The food was delicious as always! We get the Filet, Truffle fries, Wedge salad, and the Butter Cake. I cannot say enough good things about the Butter Cake! But, all the food was amazing. Overall, we love it here and I highly recommend!

Iconic steakhouse in NYC. I had a business dinner here and was extremely impressed by the attentive staff. We had a pre-selected menu by our business hosts, which included many items that contained gluten. After letting the waiter know I was allergic, she did everything in her power to suggest alternatives and even brought me out a special dessert in lieu of what was offered to the group! First class service! Ambiance is traditional steak house - dark wood, leather booths, etc. The service here was really 10 stars. Food was 3.5/4 and ambiance was 3.

The food was very good. I enjoyed the complimentary bread a lot. I came here for my birthday and enjoyed the food. We got seated on the 2nd floor near the bar and it was really crowded and noisy. The workers said that it was the best seat but I beg to differ I could not hear anything over the rowdy patrons by the bar. Our waiter was a little strange, when we first sat down it took a while before he came. I asked where he was and I guess he overheard me and kept mentioning how he's always there and will be happy to serve me. It was obvious the white customers were getting more attention than us but I let it go since it was by birthday. He was mumbling a lot and the noise made it hard to understand him. The firecracker shrimp was soggy and had too much sauce, I would not order that again. I appreciated my complimentary dessert and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was very elegant.

I went here for a Restaurant Week dinner, which was actually pretty decent! At the restaurant week price point, the food is good. The steak wasn't anything special, but it was good. The ambience inside is really nice and the service is nice, but I think I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.

If you're looking for a place to eat near Radio City Music Hall, this is the place. This is more on the high end, please be aware. I always like to advise bc of the pricing and dress code, and if you can make reservations ahead of time. They get pretty busy. The service as you can imagine is amazing. We gave them a time we had to be in and out bc we had a show and they exceeded our expectations. Everything we ate was delectable, and everything on the menu sounded mouthwatering.

So we've been to Del Frisco's many times, having spent part of our life living in DFW, but the Manhattan one has also been a frequent of our. The food and service is always impeccable and I can't imagine someone having a bad experience. We started with Oysters Casino (hot) and lump crab cocktail. Both were very delightful and tasty We then moved onto Lobster bisque and Caesar salad followed by filets and shared creamed spinach. The true standout of the evening however was our waiter. He was amazingly attentive and accommodating, making sure we were never left wanting anything. We were celebrating my birthday, so he brought out the warm butter cake for desert. Just enough for us to share after all that food! Absolutely one of the best desserts I've ever had Wonderful evening. A must for special occasions, even if that is just a Friday!
