I took my wife here for her birthday on Thursday, and everything about our experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived to the time we left! The hostesses greeted us with a smile and complimented my wife. The restaurant took time to write my wife a birthday note, which we loved. Ben (our waiter) was charismatic, knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient! They made a point to accommodate my mushroom allergy by asking very early on if we had any allergies, which I deeply appreciated. Even the waitresses that weren’t tending to us greeted us with a smile, and continued to wish my wife a happy birthday. The food was exquisite! The crab cakes were bursting with flavor, and our ribeyes were good enough to bring a tear to my eyes! The hand mashed gold potatoes and Brussels sprouts were so good as well! My wife had a drink called the VIP, and is still talking about it today! Sunny (the manager) was as hardworking and friendly a manager as I’ve ever seen! He even helped his waiters bring food to the tables on multiple occasions, and you can tell that his “in the trenches” leadership style is the reason the restaurant and service is as flawless as it is! I’d recommend this place 10 times out of 10! We’ll definitely be back!

UPDATE: I spoke with the GM, Gus, immediately after posting this and we had a wonderful conversation. I really appreciated his responsiveness to my review and willingness to make it right. I changed all ratings to a 5. Thank you, Gus. We look forward to seeing yall soon! I am so disappointed in tonight’s dinner choice. I brought my parents here for an early dinner on their last night visiting. Our service by our waiter, Kewei was just awful. He was so inattentive to us. He moved without a care and unapologetic for his service. He said he would be back for our order. I saw him hanging behind the bar chatting. He went inside and came back outside and remembered he told us he was dropping off drinks and would come back. A manager, Sonny, tried to pick up the slack but there’s only so much he could do. I really did appreciate you checking in, Sonny. My dad requested a Dr. Pepper with his meal, never came. My dad also requested cracked pepper and a lemon after Kewei specifically asked us if we needed anything else with our dinner and he forgot to bring it? My dad was about done with his meal when Kewei remembered to bring it… I’m not quite sure what was going on here because the reviews were so good. i also ordered the sangria Rosa. The first one I got was not colored pink and full of blueberries (see my selfie) the second one brought looked properly made. My mom also requested additive free tequila. Kewei said he would check. I’m not sure what he asked the bartender but he came back and said they didn’t have that kind of tequila. Additive free isn’t a brand… it’d a type. When my mom asked him to tell her the types of tequila y’all had in stock one was additive free which made us think he didn’t ask or didn’t know what to ask. I was so bummed this was the last dinner with my parents visiting me. The view was beautiful outside and the food was amazing but not sure I would come back with this type of service.

As we entered, the aroma of wood and ribs from the bar area hit our noses. That kind of sealed the deal about what we were going to order for dinner. We ordered both of the mocktails, Just Vibes & Chaos Gardener, and enjoyed them. The pretzel bread and honey butter was spot on, it had the right amount of chew, salt and slight sweet notes from the butter. My wife and I both ordered the ribs, my wife opted for the memorial day weekend special which consist of a half rack with street corn on the cob and substituted the coleslaw for the potato salad, while I had the full rack with the regular sides. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the ribs were a 10/10 would have again! We also ordered and enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese coupled with the brussel sprouts. For desert we had the Nutella Bread Pudding which was pretty delicious! It felt like we where eating chocolate cake! To finish off, Christian was an excellent waiter, I would definitely ask for him the next time we come out! Also shout-out to the whole team! Everyone that we interacted with had a smile on their face and a great attitude!

Our company ordered appetizers for a lunch meeting and Del Frisco's delivered! Everything waa absolutely delicious. We had: cheeseteak egg rolls, sticky garlic ribs, ahi tacos, the pepperoni flatbread ans Cesar salads. Each plate knocked it out of the park. Food was warm and flavorful! Special shout out to Jose for his top notch service. Top restaurants to check out in The Woodlands!

We tried the steak salad and the salmon dish here for lunch. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to sot outside to due heat but they have lovely view towards the lake. The food was good/ok I would say as it wasn’t as unique as I expected to be from this restaurant but good overall. The dessert cheesecake, however, was in fact very disappointing as it was too sweet and lacked the cheesecake unique taste. Great experience overal and hopefully we will go back here soon!

What an experience!!!!! Had a “Chef Experience” dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille. Got to tell you, one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. And if you know me, you know I eat well. Thank you to our great server, Jesse, who made sure that we had everything we needed and took care of us. Terrie is an awesome sommelier who had each course paired perfectly with our wine and spirits. Not to mention her patience with those of us that know nothing about wine. And my man Chef Darren Remmer, brother your special twist of every dish you provided has the hand of God all over it. It is so obvious, that your Love for cooking is what drives you. Thank you for sharing with my family the gift you have. “Mama” taught you well As for the food, I know I’m gonna jack it up. Devilled eggs, not anything that you have ever tasted before The ceviche had a twist I can’t even describe Salad, the word doesn’t even describe this plate. Main course. Lobster Mac- Asparagus Grilled Steak with a chimichurri Dessert- three plates of heaven.

Update : Went again today and Q our server did an amazing job. Def going to go back and ask for him. Hostess was extremely nice as well and the food was made perfectly. Pretty chill spot for our lunch. Food and apps were good. Love how they gave our 4 year old some food for the ducks.

Last Saturday evening, our family experienced something truly special at Del Frisco's in The Woodlands. Despite it being prom night for local schools and the restaurant nearly at capacity, what could have been a chaotic dining experience turned into an unforgettable celebration thanks to the exceptional team. From before we arrived, GM Gus set the tone with his warm welcome and attentive oversight. His leadership clearly inspires his staff, as the entire service experience flowed flawlessly under a high ops tempo. Gus personally checked on our table multiple times throughout the evening, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another party on a busy night. Our server Jessie was nothing short of phenomenal. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, but it was his ability to connect with our family that truly stood out. He took the time to understand our preferences, made thoughtful recommendations, and anticipated our needs before we even expressed them. Jessie's timing was impeccable, present when needed yet never intrusive. The wine selection, guided by Sommelier Torie, elevated our meal to extraordinary heights. Her passion for wine and spirits was evident as she described each option, helping us discover perfect pairings for our various dishes. Torie has a rare gift for making wine approachable and exciting in a way that enhanced our appreciation without a hint of pretension. But the true star of the evening was Chef Darren. The culinary artistry displayed on each plate was remarkable. Every dish arrived not only visually stunning but bursting with flavor that delighted our palates. Chef Darren's mastery of technique combined with his vision to go above and beyond resulted in food that wasn't just to be consumed but experienced. His passion and pride for what he does was evident in every bite, from the perfectly seared steak to the delicious appetizers and desserts. What struck us most was how Chef Darren personally visited our table to ensure everything met our expectations. His humble demeanor belied his exceptional talent. We found ourselves discussing his professional journey and personal connection to cooking and it was clear that we were in the presence of someone who possesses all of the qualities to be recognized as one of our nation's leading chef's, seriously! We would absolutely be first in line if he ever decided to open his own restaurant, though we're thrilled to continue supporting him and the incredible staff at Del Frisco's in the meantime. It's been one night since our experience and in reflecting on our dinner we all agreed that what made the evening so special was not just the outstanding food, but how this team transformed what could have been just a meal into a meaningful family memory. Each team member contributed to an atmosphere where we felt both celebrated and comfortable. We've already begun planning our return visit. This experience has earned both our appreciation and our loyalty. In an area chock full of upscale dining options like the Woodlands, this team has distinguished themselves by creating not just a meal but an experience our family will savor for years to come.

The food and service were incredible. Our server, Kewi, was kind, positive and knowledgeable. Chef Sean did an amazing job. The food was gorgeously presented and tasted truly on point. We really enjoyed speaking with him about the food when he came by the table. I loved the ambiance and how welcoming the restaurant felt the moment you walked through the doors. I can't wait to return.

We visited while staying overnight for a concert. It was walking distance from our hotel and next to a beautiful lake. There were eight of us and we sat at a booth by the bar and patio entrance. We had kids and there were kids menus and coloring sheets. We were there for happy hour and half of us ordered wine and I had the old fashioned. Highly recommend the old fashioned. As for our meal - we started with cheese curds which were a hit! The kids ordered cheese pizza, mac n cheese and fries. The adults ordered steak, vegetables, and fish n chips. I didn't get pictures of everything because people dug in quick! I will say the fish n chips were just okay but the steaks were cooked to perfection! Chef's kiss Very nice place and the wait staff was very attentive. We took dessert to go and both were delicious- coconut cream pie and chocolate cake. There wasn't any silverware in to-go bag so make sure to ask for some before you leave if staying in a hotel.

This place is crazy overpriced I guess you pay for the view but I ordered doordash so didn't get to enjoy it haha. The cheesecake egg rolls everyone raved about were nothing special there are no vegetables inside just cheap meat and cheap cheese and you get two skinny ones for $20. Kinda ridiculous! BUT the sticky garlic ribs were phenomenal worth the $5 a piece I suppose. Cooked perfectly and full of unique flavor the garlic chips garnish was delicious too. I have eaten in here before had a steak and a great Mac and cheese... again pretty basic stuff for the price they charge but I remember the service and ambience was really good.

Always a good time when I come here, especially this location because I love the view. One of my favorite appetizers is the steak egg rolls. Today we tried the cheese curds and wings which are super delish. I really like the different sauces that cone with the dishes as well.

Alright Del Frisco's, we see you! This was our first stop on our progressive dine through Hugh's Landing. Greeting at door: fantastic Drinks: equally fantastic Entrees: Mahi Mahi and Bolognese terrific, perfectly cooked Forbidden Rice A hat's off to the manager for checking on everyone and clearing tables while being very gracious. Our server was a delight. Just wanted you needed after a long few days with no power. Thank you!! Note: First time a restaurant called me with my reservation phone number to see if we had a great time the next day. Who does that? Nobody.

Overall, this visit was good. I got the short ribs and it was very tender and yummy. My partner got the New York strip and enjoyed it as well. The place is nice and in a good area.

Ambiance is great, some of the food was just ok, and the service was good. The steak was over cooked but still tasty, the old fashioned was just ok, pretty standard. The deviled eggs were a no go and the wedge was really good. The server was friendly and attentive.

This place never disappoints. Like all places it starts from the top, Gustavo is a great GM and treats all his guest first class. Kaden, the bar manager, knocks it out of the park, and the chefs are awesome! Food is always first class.

High class lunch! Wonderful service. The fish and chips were delicious!! Their tartar sauce is unique and interesting. Personally I prefer a "regular" recipe tartar sauce. Overall a really lovely birthday lunch! Got a free dessert on the house.

We have gone to Del Frisco's frequently over the past 17 years. In general the food is well-prepared and the service is good. I was quite disappointed at our last visit that vegan/vegetarian foods had been almost eliminated from the menu. As the online menu still showed items like wild mushroom flatbread and cauliflower steak, I was surprised to find that the only vegan item offered on-site was a beyond burger. I will not be visiting again anytime soon as my choices have been so reduced. However, Jenny still offered us great service.

Everything was amazing! Best service! The bar drinks were some of the best I've ever had. The tuna tartar egg rolls and steakhouse salad will have us returning soon. Don't miss this place.

Another great experience at Del Frisco's Grille at Hughes Landing. Highlighted by meeting Ariel Fox (Hell's Kitchen winner from Season 18). We even got an autograph! She's elevating the menu and we cannot wait to try the new items.

Ali is so incredible with service and taking care of people. We also had Emma as our server and let me tell you she made my birthday dinner the most special I could have asked for. She went ABOVE and BEYOND for me. I was blown away. She even sang happy birthday and joined in with my friends. Between the location, service, and prices, Del Frisco's Grille is definitely a nice restaurant to stop by. I sat at the bar for a quick happy hour meal. (M-F 3PM-6PM). Although, the restaurant also features great outdoor seating with the view of the lake. I ordered the double stack burger, ahi tacos, and cheesesteak egg rolls - all great and tasty choices. Food and drinks arrived at a reasonably quick pace. Kaden, the bartender, was truly awesome. (although, all staff were quite kind.) Nice and pleasant experience.

ASK TO BE SEATED IN DELANIE'S SECTION!!! She is an absolute delight and will make your dinner better in every way. She knows the menu like the back of her hand and she's super quick. The food is also amazing. Make sure to try out the cheesesteak egg rolls and the crab cake to start. For mains, it's impossible to go wrong with any of the steaks. Cooked to perfection and served in almost any style you can think of. 11/10 will be back.

I Love Del Frisco's! From the appetizers, drinks and entrées I've never been disappointed. Charter was the server I most recently had and he did an exceptional job making sure we were satisfied.

We were greeted with a non friendly bartender. 6pm on October 17. Sat for over 40 minutes with one drink with no follow up and no inquiry to what we wanted to order after being provided menus. Why did I pay to join the laundry's select club? What a waste of money if this is what I am to expect.

I was up around my old neighborhood yesterday and met some friends at Del Frisco's in The Woodlands for a lite afternoon snack with beverages with authority for a BA/Bcal Happy New Year luncheon. As always, I arrived early as did Debbie so we sat in the bar to wait for the others to show up. The drive from the airport to The Woodlands left me quite parched so I ordered a Bloody Mary and I do declare that it was one of the best Bloody Marys that I have had in a long time. Once all of the attendees had arrived and seated, our host treated us to some delightful appetizers, Crispy Fried Cheese Curds with Sweet Basil Cream and Cheesesteak Eggrolls with Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce, Honey Mustard, they were to die for. The soup of the day was a Salmon Bisque and let me tell you, I have always been a Lobster Bisque person but this Salmon Bisque was so spectacular that I may have found my new bisque of choice. For my main course, I had the Fish and Chips which were excellent and paired quite well with the Duckhorn Decoy Chardonnay. My arm was twisted into sharing a dessert, Caramel Pot De Creme, Maldon Salted Caramel, Butterscotch and Whipped Cream. As usual, we had a great time with stimulating conversation and bold laughter. Can't wait te next pow wow. And last but certainly not least, our server Drake was phenomenal with the patience of Job, dealing with our demanding sophisticated group.

Visiting Town on business and chose here to meet a colleague who works here at our offices in Houston. This place is beautifully situated right by the water, with a nice walking path round the waterway. Before Dinner we all chose to walk around and enjoy view. The service was very good. Angel was our server and was very informative with providing great suggestions with wines to go with our dinner. We started our meal with Crab Cakes and Fried Cheese Curds as our appetizers along with a bottle of Pino Noir, which was amazing! The crust on the cheese curds were nice and crisp and not over breaded, and the peppers in the Crab Cake really made all the difference for the dish. The wine was a great match for these starters. I ended up ordering the Bone-in Pork Chop, which was cooked perfectly and served with a nice satay greens, that went very well with the protein. My other two colleagues went with the Rib-Eye and were not disappointed. for our bottle of wine during the main meal, we went with a Malbec. For the rich flavors of the Pork and the sauce, the dry tart wine, helped cut and clear the pallet and continue to enjoy the meal. For dessert, I went with the Coconut Custard Tart, which was very creamy and well made. The dried coconut shavings absolutely added to the texture and also further enhanced the coconut flavor of the dish. My only complaint with this dish was the short bread used for the Tart was a little too thick and hard. I was hoping for it to be little more buttery and flakey. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I have to take a star away because the restaurant did not have my first choice for dinner. I had my heart set on something else and was disappointed to have Angel come back and tell me that they are all out. I would understand if I was towards the end of the night and if it was on the weekend, but this was early in the evening and also in the week. I will be more than happy to come again when I'm back in town, and I hope that they will have what I want in stock next time.

#1 our server Jayden was TOP NOTCH. Best ever and made our dinner so much fun! #2 the food was DELICIOUS. Quick service, apps were hot and yummy, meals were tasty and had unique flavors, desserts were divine!!

Supper chill vibe! The patio have a view that's so calming. We sat in the bar area for happy hour! Which is the bomb.com ! Our bartender babe name was Tish and she was a vibe. All off her recommendations were so yummy! We had the cheesesteak egg rolls, garlic sticky ribs, VIP, strawberry, margaritas, old-fashion, and ribeye steak! I will be back soon!

As always, dinner was AMAZING! The weather was perfect for dinner on the patio. The deviled eggs and sticky ribs were the perfect bite to start off dinner. The butternut squash soup was sweet and savory with hints of nutmeg and marscapone. The roasted chicken was juicy and seasoned well atop creamy mashed potatoes but the chimichurri with garlic and capers made it 10 out of 10. The ginger bread pudding and lemon cream cake were delicious. Shout out to our waiter, Christian M. who was friendly and attentive. He thought of everything before we could even ask. Also, our group really enjoyed speaking with Drake, one of the managers who came over and made sure we were taken care of. Del Frisco's was the perfect choice on a laid back Friday evening after work.

Del Frisco's Grille is a fabulous restaurant and the staff is amazing! Chris Lavalle was our waiter for the evening, and he was perfect. Very attentive but not overboard, he knew just the right timing to check on us and didn't make us feel rushed or forgotten. I chose to try a couple of the appetizers, the Crab Cake and the Thai Pork Meatballs, and was not disappointed. The restaurant is just beautiful. I was very impressed. The GM, Gustavo Mendoza, even came out to greet us! I will definitely be back! Thank you for making my Grandma/Granddaughter date such a pleasant evening! Robin T.

Review Del Friscos is a staple for our date nights. Whether a birthday or anniversary it is always a great place to celebrate. The food is always mouthwatering and amazing. The service is top notch with attentive and friendly staff. My parents recently went to the Woodlands location to celebrate their 36th anniversary and the manager Gustavo was so helpful and accommodating in assisting me to get them reservations along with special requests. They made their experience so memorable! Thank you Del Friscos!

Big thank you to Chef Darren,Manager Gus, and our waiter Christian. Christian started us off with a bottle of champagne. We had two of the house appetizers, the sticky ribs, and egg rolls . Chef, Darren made us special artichoke dip, not on the menu. Our entrées were braised ribs, filet mignon, mashed potatoes, and yes, some of us had salad. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of Cakebread And our dessert!!! Very nice evening.

We went to the woodlands location around 12:30pm. Staff was very attentive and nice but it wasn't crowded, food was amazing! The sun was shining through the window a bit much but a staff member closed the shades and made the perfect ambiance.

Service was a 4 star Food was a 3. Server was very on top of everything and kept checking on us. At the end of the meal instead of rushing us to get the check he kept refilling our waters and cleared our plates. He was very patient and sweet! The French toast was half over done and half still yokey. Lol if that makes sense! Hash was like pot roast with a egg on top. So both of the entrees were a solid 1 star. The one to give the other stars is the salmon flat bread so yummy!! If you go here try the morning mule and the flatbreads!

Mike , our waiter was absolutely Awesome!! And the General Manager, Gus... went over and beyond for a 'special request' that I had for my birthday celebration. The aged steak was simply incredible!

We dined last night for the first time here and it was perfect! Our server - Shae was incredibly attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and they remembered we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and made the evening even more special. We will be back!

I've dined at Del Frisco's Steakhouse but not their Woodland Grille location in the Woodlands, so this was my first time visiting the restaurant. First of all, the place was immaculate and quiet, the greeter seated me promptly and the waitress (Kathleen) was very friendly and attentive. The ribeye steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and the truffle mac and cheese was simply divine. I was extremely pleased with my dining experience at this establishment and will definitely return to sample more of their menu items or stick with the ribeye, either way, I can't go wrong.

Great service and delicious food! The Caesar salad with grilled salmon was fantastic!

Jenny is a very good server. She is always happy and was patient with us. My wife will look for her next time we come. Good food and nice place to visit in the Woodlands.

The food is delicious starting with drinks. They have a different variety to choose from. Appetizers are great n the main dishes are deliciouuuus!! We were celebrating our anniversary n our waitress treated us excellent!

My husband and I really love Del Frisco's! Cass, our server always takes really good care of us and Gus is an excellent manager and always makes sure we receive impecable service and way more! Plus, the food is always to die for! Thank you Cass and thank you Gustavo! We'll be coming back for sure!

Consistently receive great service and delicious food! I love that we can request a booth along the front of the restaurant so we can people watch while we enjoy a fun experience. When the weather is nice, we love sitting outside overlooking the peaceful water.

One of the absolute worst "steak houses" I have ever been to. I ordered the ribeye which is posted in the review and you can clearly see that this is no where near a ribeye. I spoke to the chef and he admitted that they had a " bad shipment" of steak that was labeled ribeye that even they thought was NOT ribeye. Even after he admitted this he was ZERO help and lacked any sort of care for my concern. The service was absolutely terrible as they were not attentive, slow, and had zero knowledge of anything on the menu. I recommend to save your money and NOT come here . TERRIBLE.

Amazing filet and I really enjoyed the mushrooms and Brussels sprouts side dish! The atmosphere is very pleasant and the waiter was very professional. They have a great selection of wines.

It's a upscale casual take down of the double eagle steakhouse and they do a good job. The service is top notch and the menu has some real stars. I do really appreciate that the 5 star customer service of the double eagle establishments. High service on a Cheese Cake Factory budget...cant go wrong.

Mouthwatering! We visited for a family celebration and we're so impressed. Our server, Jesse, was friendly, helpful and had wonderful recommendations. Because of his suggestion, my husband tried the Fig Manhattan which he thoroughly enjoyed. We began with the fried cheese curds. Let's be honest... fried cheese is a crowd pleaser and this was no exception. The difference was the dipping sauce which was some sort of cream dip that I didn't make note of the name but it was delicious! The kids had Mac-n-cheese and a cheeseburger and both cleaned their plates! My husband had the ribeye and potato cake side. (I can't remember the exact name of the dish.). He was thoroughly happy with each. We all tried the potato cake and agreed that it was amazing! I'm not usually a fan of ribeye but I tried this one and it was so tasty and not fatty! I had the medallion duo with a side of Mac-n-cheese. Oh my goodness... the medallion with the mushrooms was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I will hold all other steaks against this one. The side was to die for as well. We ended with the peanut butter pie. Of course, the kids devoured it but even us adults gave it a try. As someone who usually choses swine over dessert I've got to say this one makes me reconsider. Amazing balance of sweet and salty with a creamy texture.

We made reservations for an early dinner for Christmas Day. There were not many options of restaurants open on said holiday, so we chose this establishment. Naturally, they had a limited menu with higher than normal prices. Understandable. So my parents and I all chose something on the lower price end (about $30 per entree). I had the world's smallest piece of salmon (not worth the price for sure), my Mom had some short ribs that she said were really good. Then my Dad ordered the chicken. It came out luke warm and tasteless. We notified our server as well as a manager who came by our table. Both of them offered to fix it, but my Dad was hungry and decided to eat what was brought out. The staff felt bad about the chicken and provided a complimentary dessert. Well, fast-forward to the same night, where he was up all night with intestinal distress. Moral of the story: I probably will not go back. They obviously were overwhelmed by a packed dining room on a busy holiday and were more concerned about making money off of their inflated menu prices and could not be bothered to take the time to make sure their dishes were properly cooked prior to delivering them to the table.

Another great experience at Del Frisco's. After a day of shopping in The Woodlands, it was the perfect way to end the day in Hughes Landing. Jaedon was a fantastic server. We had a group of 7 with several food allergies, and he took great care of us.

Came for my birthday, party of 15 people/7-8 couples. They were able to do separate bills (where it's a hassle to do anywhere else!! My options of restaurants were limited) AND IM SO HAPPY WE CAME HERE. FOOD WAS BOMB Super impressed! I thought we'd might have two waiters & only had one and he did his thing!!!!! Wish I remembered his name (came in on 11/30 @7:30) All my friends were impressed on the food. Definitely up there with Steak 48 at a much affordable price. We visited The Woodlands location to celebrate my sons'd birthday and were sadly disappointed in the food and the overall experience. We expected more for the price. The steaks were good but the sides were nothing special. Mac cheese with lobster lacked flavor. The baked potatoes could have been cooked longer. Just disappointing all around.

Went for anniversary dinner and all the food was so good! They were also super sweet and gifted us a dessert and a happy anniversary card signed by the staff.
