Houston Rockets Owner Tilman Fertitta Scoops Up Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses | Eater Houston

"I note that the Del Frisco’s Grille in The Woodlands is one of the local outlets of a 35-location, coast-to-coast steakhouse chain that was just picked up by Tilman Fertitta. Fertitta, the CEO of Landry’s Inc. who owns brands such as Mastro’s, Morton’s, Vic & Anthony’s, Strip House and Brenner’s, will absorb the Double Eagle Steakhouses and Grilles while L Catterton retains other Del Frisco’s properties; Fertitta has said operations will remain unchanged and his portion of the deal is expected to close at the end of October (terms not disclosed)." - Tierney Plumb
