"There’s guacamole, and then there’s loaded guacamole from Del Fuego. Get any or all of the following: chicharrones, diced tomatoes, pickled onion, Cotija cheese, roasted poblano peppers, pumpkin seeds, bacon, pickled jalapeños, and/or pomegranate seeds. Different flavors, textures, and combinations satisfy any mood or appetite. Grab one of the city’s best margaritas at the restaurant to wash it down." - Nora McGunnigle

This unsuspecting little Mexican restaurant has delicious food!! I stopped here for lunch with friends while we were out shopping. The corn was super yummy and the fish tacos were some of the best I’ve had! The popsicles are made in house and they have both alcoholic and non alcoholic versions. They’re the perfect treat at the end of a delicious meal! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the air conditioning wasn’t working very well and August in New Orleans is HOT! Our server was very nice as well. Definitely recommend!

Nice little walk up place on Magazine St. Outside patio made for a great night. Started with a couple of margaritas... sweet, and strong. The girl who would be my girlfriend and I walked, so strong was just fine. Guacamole was great, I could taste the acidity of the lime without ruining the the mild avocado flavor. Dressed with diced tomato bits and pickled red onion. We also got jalapeno slices on the side. Made it burst with heat. Chips are house made mini tortillas deep fried. Crispy and tasty. Overall.... fantastic. I had 3 tacos, beans and rice. Tacos I had were the tinga de pollo, Carne asada, and carnitas. The meats were cooked well. Tender, and tasty. Friendly staff. Nice place

After traversing the Uptown neighborhood and finding many places not open for lunch on Monday’s, I decided to check out one that has been in my list to try for a while. The only thing I am upset about is not trying Del Fuego sooner. First and foremost, the service is awesome! I had Shannon who was working alone and where other servers might be in the weeds, she was handling huge parties and an ever flowing amount of customers still coming in. She was fun to watch and the service she provided me while juggling all of this was well above par. Attentive, very nice, knowledgeable about the product, and gave good recommendations. The food was good, and though Del Fuego is a little by pricier than some of it’s competitors in the area, you can really taste why. I learned that they get most of their ingredients directly from the farm. The food was very fresh with some inventive accents, such as a pumpkin seed sauce to dip tostado’s in! Would recommend to others and will definitely be going back.

Service was excellent and so was the food. The house margarita was really well made. The habanero salsa was less hot than expected but very good while the arbol salsa packed the heat and flavor. The habanero hot sauce was perfectly hot while the Serrano hot sauce was mild and delicious.

We went for brunch. You can either order off the brunch or regular menu. Depending on what you order, the portions can be big. The burrito is a perfect size for someone who’s hungry. Quesadilla is a good size for the price. The tacos came a La carte and were similar to torchy’s (which is a great spot!). Their strawberry margarita was okay and a little pricey for the taste. The crawfish queso could have been more flavorful. There is a big water glass for everyone to fill their own glass up. Just fyi for foodies, they do charge a 22 percent gratuity. I rate this three stars because it was not insulting but I probably won’t go back because the price isn’t that great to pay for the food and there are other local spots that have amazing food.

Outstanding service and great food. The queso with peppers is an excellent choice for an appetizer. The chicken tacos were great also. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.

I stopped in for a drink and was very pleasantly surprised! I couldn't decide between a margarita or sangria, so my server Robert said I could get both! Whaat? It was delicious! They are very clear about their living wage charge, and I think it's a good idea all around. Very glad I stopped by!

Great street style tacos, and great margaritas. I got the fresh strawberry juice added to mine and it was really refreshing. My boyfriend wound up copying mine for his second round. added bonus: the bartender doesn't automatically give you a straw in your drink! thank you for helping cut back on plastic waste!!!
