Del Taco

I ordered using Uber eats, the manager must be telling the employees to put less ground beef on the tacos, I ordered the del beef tacos which are supposed to have a lot more ground beef than the regular tacos. This place are going to lose customers if they keep ripping off people. They don't put napkins and also didn't put a straw for my drink. I'm never ordering from this location ever again. But looking at the tacos I think they sent me the regular tacos not the del beef tacos.

One of the best things about this del taco was that it was open 24hra and once the bars closed in the vicinity it would become an after party in there. It was closed and now there’s only a pick up locker with a complicated ordering system online. Once ordered the food was quick and as delicious as ever.

This Del Taco has changed it way of operating at this location. I went in and no one was up front to take the order. Just a machine. Then I couldn't get service about how to use this machine, because all the workers were busy with orders from cars that drove up to their window. I hated this experience. If it's like this, why don't you just be ( Only a Drive Through). Because customers are forgotten up front. Or hire more workers. Everyone isn't used to placing orders on a machine. And it makes for such an impersonal atmosphere. Management needs to know. Computers don't need to take away good service. Computers don't need to re place people. Next there will be no people to serve anyone. Think about That! Joan-Hollywood

A very pleasant place, a cozy atmosphere, the room is clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Special thanks to the kitchen, my burrito was wonderful: both the meat and the beans, everything tasted great! Wonderful place and delicious food!

This has been a quick snack place with great drive thru, but what was going on NYE? All my food was cold. I started to drive back, but didn’t. I didn’t even eat the tacos because I was afraid of illness. I put them in the fridge. I’m not sure if I will heat them up. I’ve never had issues over the last 5 years of periodic visits. I’m not sure if it was just last night but it has me questioning basiic food safety practices. Are some of the tacos heated up for frozen? Everything was cold and wrapped in foil. I drove out and made it by the Scientology building when I checked, it was not long enough to be that cold. The fries were lukewarm. The staff member was nice, but they knew that food was cold when they put it in he bag. The odd part was that there were few customers and it took longer. If they weren’t heating up the food, what were they doing? Maybe the facility should close on holidays for the safety of customers.

I Remember when this Place Used to be PIONEER CHICKEN... I been here Many times But Never Put up pictures or Reviewed it... I got me The #9Comes with a Beef Burrito a Taco and some Fries I got me. Root beer... The Food was Good and Tasty The Guacamole $3.50 ish was very Fresh... Total? Was $13.00

I'm honestly lost for words, this location should not be allowed to operate with the current staff. They do not care about customers whatsoever and are super lazy. Worst experience at any fast food restaurant in my life.

Wife got horrible diarrhea and vomiting after eating from here. We believe it was the tortilla chips. The smell was of old rancid oil used to fry the chips. They don't cycle their food often enough. Judging by all the reviews, they don't seem to care enough to. Beware.

Eli was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us! Definitely needs a raise and del taco should hire more like Eli!

Never order from this location with the official mobile app. Always use the Doordash app, because this place will 100% without fail fuck up your order every single time and you'll be needing to refund an item or two. Much easier to do that thru Doordash!

I think their business model is leaving out items in your order and hope you don't come back for them. I don't think I've ever got food from this Del taco drive through and had all the items I've ordered in the bag. You can count on it.

This was the 2nd time trying out this place, my first time was probably 3 years ago and because of the experience didn't go again until... today and it was a mistake.... I think something is wrong with the quality of the food because the next day I felt sick and like I wanted to throw up.. nearly the same experience as the first time, never ever coming here again, health department may need to called and inspect this place

I hate Del Taco but this place made me lick my fingers clean and as gross as that sounds...it's still not enough to emphasize how good these two beef tacos were today! The best part is there's so MUCH FILLING!! LOVED IT!! The only turn off was the sign on the door saying "for paying customers only" and then the toilet is covered in poop smears. I'm sure the staff keep their own bathroom clean though so no worries!

I have always preferred DT to the other fast mex TB. Their Del Double beef burger is my fave Their chicken soft tacos are ok & cheap. Their burger is great because it's so plain , plain ok meat, bun, tiny tomatoes etc. The cheese is almost kraft single cheap cheese 'product' ( fake) . With tax it was less than $6 I forgot guacamole.the snack sz. was $1.80 So add that to the subtotal. This is the reliable Joint for the generic burger.

Easily the worst del taco around. Came here around 11pm on 10/27 and we had a few mobile orders, after waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes we were told we wouldn't be given our orders that we have to exit the drive thru and get it from a mobile order locker. We wait 20 minutes to get the code to unlock the locker through text but we never get it. We noticed the worker is putting all the orders on top of the locker inside the store instead of inside the locker. We spam call the store until finally the lady answers and tells us to wait by the front door, where she shoves our cold orders and melted shake in our hands with no straws. We tried to call the store again and no answer, we knock on the door no answer, we walk up to the drive thru window and the lady looks at us with a dirty look and ignores us. Needless to say del taco corporate issued us a full refund, I don't know how they hired such a terrible person as a worker.

This is easily the worst fast food experience I have ever had and it's not even about the food. The mobile order set up is absolute trash. I made an order on my phone and was prompted to check-in when I arrived at the restaurant, which I did. However, I received no notification on the app that my order was prepared because - surprise - it never was. Because it was around 10:30 PM, the inside of the restaurant was closed, so I waited around 15 minutes for something to happen with the app. When that clearly didn't work, I then went to the drive-thru for another 10 minutes to wait on the order. This is an example of technology not working as it is intended. There will be no next time for me at this Del Taco. Y'all can have it.

Came in just to try the new Trejo El Pastor Epic Burritos! What a let down. Flavor was decent except for all the crunchy gristle. Now this is why celebrities should not get into the food business. This is just sold on name recognition. ***THERE IS NOTHING EPIC ABOUT THIS BURRITO!***

I ordered the new El Pastore Epic burrito. The meat was burnt and all dried out overcooked. I was very unhappy with my meal. The meat was very hard in texture.

Ordered a grilled chicken burrito with extra sauce and no tomatoes. Charged an extra 70 cents. Got home and saw it had no tomatoes (OK) or sauce (wrong). Also came with an underfilled fry box and wasn't given the correct amount. Had an earlier issue with this place when it was open and wasn't helped at the drive thru window. The employee saw me and just kept doing stuff inside. I honked and she looked again and walked off. Didn't explain if they were closed or what.

The first time I tried Del Taco with my kids was in Pasadena and we promised ourselves that we would NEVER go back. Hated their food compared to Taco Bell. Many, many years later, one day there were Del Taco coupons included in my mail. One of the coupons looked interesting: loaded fries. Picture looked good. I love fries, the Del Taco is close to my home, so I thought "why not?" I decided to give it a chance. Went through the drive thru. No line. YAY!! Besides the loaded fries, I also decided to try their beer battered fish taco. I LOVE the fish taco at Rubio's, so I thought I would try their fish taco. I was pleasantly surprised! I loved both items! I actually like the fish taco the best! I liked it that much, I intend to buy it again. I can't wait to tell my kids about this outing and get them to retry Del Taco. Customer service? It was fine, but the girl at the window wasn't very customer friendly. Bad day?

This is literally the worst Del Taco I've ever been to, which makes me sad because I love Del Taco and there's no other ones around. The drive thru at night is super slow, but the main problem here are the portion sizes. The chicken soft tacos have about 1 tsp of chicken in them and a couple shreds of iceberg lettuce and a little bit of cheese. The 1/2 lb bean and cheese burritos are about 1 tbsp of beans inside with a little cheese but it's mostly just all tortilla. I thought maybe it was just a bad night for them so I came back on 3 different occasions... I'm dumb and should have known better because it was the same issue every time. Haven't been back since and never will.

It's a Del Taco on Hollywood Blvd - all that can be said is cleanliness and service are non-factors simply due to you can expect no more. Acceptable, but not good. Guac is meh - not bad, but not good. For almost $4 for guap and chips, not worth considering. Don't believe the pretty advertisements - I was enticed and now my fault is your fortune. Chipotle guac beats it by miles. Their Chicken Soft Tacos are always a hit - no difference here, grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese, and sauce. The Carbon taco is closer to what you might expect from a taco truck and it actually impressed. Different chicken from the soft taco, had onions, cilantro, and what looked like caramelized onions - for less than $2, it might be the best affordable "authentic" fast food taco you can buy. TL:DR don't expect cleanliness or prompt service or a nice ambience if you come here. Chicken tacos are a very solid choice, skip the guac

This place is the WORST!! From food to staff to food. I know its fast food, but they take the cake for absolute disappointment. Every time we've gone through the drive thru, we are always missing food. I decided to go in to get the order right this time. I ordered 4 the del tacos, 2 chicken soft tacos, and a macho fry well done. I stated I wouldn't mind waiting for the fries. Saw guy then take old fries and dump them back in, then dude barely puts any fries in the container. It got me heated, 4 bucks and you can't fill it up. F@#k. Get home and saw the tacos.. . Wow for what they charge vs. what they deliver, I'd rather find a taco stand or give my money to a local restaurant. Never again guys. don't eat here, they clearly don't care from the owners to the workers. Litterally, nothing in these taco shells, old refried fries, and hard chicken. Total spent 20 bucks.

No issues. Food is always fine, if you know what to get. Drive through speed is always not bad. The carnitas was delicious- sad that's gone. But the fries with stuff on top is so good. Sometimes the fries aren't cooked long enough. But I don't come here for the fries.

I come here for late-night food. Last night I saw a show at the Hollywood Bowl and was hungry so stopped by here. There was no line which was great. The food was okay - my burrito was tiny and hardly filled with anything. The big problem which has happened here MANY times was my soda, Dr. Pepper, was all soda water and disgusting. I forgot to check because I rushing to get home. Of course, I upgraded to a large which I ended up tossing. I need to remind myself not to come here because they don't bother to check the soda syrup.

This is the worst Del Taco I've ever experienced in my life. Just shut it down guys. Awful service, slow as hell, cold ass food. Thee worst

This place has been going downhill. Make sure you check your order before you leave the drive-thru window because the wait is at least 15 min to go back through. I made the mistake of not checking my order and when I got home I was missing my fries. Didn't even give me any napkins! You would think that the service would be better now that the workers are getting paid better now but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Should have went to Jack in the Box...

Always dirty. How do you run out of forks and soda. The people that work here are nice. But the place is just trash.

Does not matter when I order delivery. Whether it's me, or it's my wife, they have not included hot sauce (even though it's on the order) NOT ONCE IN MONTHS. 0% of people order fast food tacos to be eaten dry with no hot sauce. I'm starting to think that the people that work at this location are developmentally challenged folk.

This particular del taco is extremely extremely slow. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or if there's some other issue, but multiple times I've come to this Del Taco and had to give up after waiting in the drive-thru too long. I've learned my lesson though and won't be going back to this location

this place is so incredibly slow it's honestly hard to believe. I was stuck in the drive through for AN HOUR, i couldnt back out or leave, just had to deal with it with only 3 or 4 cars ahead of me. and then they ran out of chicken. very poorly managed. Food was fine and the staff was nice enough but whatever is going on in there that it's taking them over 15 minutes per customer, 1 at a time, is wild and embarrassing. really hopeful they get new management and maybe pay an extra person to help cause yikes.

I rarely ate fast food and let's not kid ourselves about this even remotely being healthy for you. However, sometimes I just needed something reasonable in my tummy, and they fit the bill. The food and service pre- and current COVID-19 has always been good, and during the times dining in was allowed, the staff always kept it clean. Their American and Mexican menu was varied enough to have something to eat. Plus, their rewards program was a wonderful incentive to earn discount and free food. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $19.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

This location is the worst. I laughed when I saw my tacos. I thought it was a bad dream. I just finished the LA marathon and was craving those chicken soft tacos. The best thing about the meal was the inferno sauces. Thanks for ruining my post race meal. Will stick to Taco Bell when around this area.

The quality has gone to crap as the prices rise. Went through the drive thru for lunch. Ordered four items. Asked for mild sauce. Received one mild packet and one scorching hot and only two napkins for four items. Food was lukewarm at best. Nothing was hot. The food and quality went out the door with their new pay increase. We have to pay higher prices for crap service and subpar food.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I guess I'm insane then, for continuing to order through the mobile app expecting to get a text when my food is ready and not have it sitting out on the counter getting cold while I wait in the parking lot. Why have the Pickup Kiosk if you're not going to use it?

This is a "well-done chicken quesadilla" I really don't know what to say. This location continues to find new ways of surprising me.

No problems with this Del Taco at all... actually the first one where I was able to try the Beyond tacos and now burritos... I know the parking lot and drive through can be a hassle but I always dine in or pay inside. I've been utilizing the Del Taco app more for deals and freebies and the Del Taco squad on Sunset knows what's up. I've even started ordering staple and new items I'd normal order without cheese or sour cream as no dairy after a nice but sassy employee suggested it. They really load up the food to compensate for any substitutions always down for more avocado or veggies than barely any. The wait time is fairly short however this location stays busy all hours of the day... especially with a nice view and lots of windows to shine in the light day or night. The food is always prepared at perfect temp and the fries are the right amount of everything.... some like it hot. The upkeep here is better than one would expect ...even the el banos can get a little out of hand with all the non-customers who rush in and out as well as the customers... we're all adults.

Craving the Beyond Beef in the Macho burrito with guacamole I head to my trusty DT! I order the Epic! Only others got the same craving! I'm patient in the drive thru and wonder if my plan to rule Hollywood is fully realized. It's a work in progress. The staff is friendly and dedicated to good service and I appreciate every underpaid and overworked one of them! What's $11.49 to fill the void? And scene!

First time trying Del Taco & it's super disappointing. Honestly save your money because I'm mad I spent money on this... I took a few bites but it was cold, and there were no condiments given so it was bland af. I couldn't finish it at all and threw away what's left in the picture.

However bad you think it is... it's worse. Go to the store, buy all the ingredients. Make as slow as you possibly can. If it takes you four hours it will still be faster than going to this restaurant. They will probably tell you they don't have an ingredient that's in 95% of their items. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If I could give less stars I would.

The lady working at del taco was rude as hell, two of hard shell tacos were broken and they purposely gave us small amounts of fries for our chili cheese fries. This lady really hates her job but there's no reason to take it out on our food. Stay away from this horrible location!

I just went there last night (morning) seconds before they closed and although it was closing hime, the man that worked there still made me a burrito and a couple tacos - despite the fact that he's still working for almost nothing, despite the fact that he's exhausted from working all night and he needed to go home, and despite the fact that he's working through a pandemic - he still made me this burrito that I craved so much.... and the tacos and burrito were GORGEOUS!! It was like perfectly fresh and beautiful and he was SOOO SWEET!! Whoever it was, he deserves a promotion and a raise!! It was on the morning of Tuesday, 8/18/20 and it was late almost 3 am. This place is a joke. Rolled in Thursday' night around 1. Everything they made was wrong. These people who work here can't even make fast food right. They didn't cut the quesadillas, they didn't put cinnamon on the churros. They messed up everything. These people are sooo low and incompetent I hope they make minimum wage because that's all they will ever deserve. Bunch of bottom dwelling losers

Warning if ordering through Postmates. This location in particular likes to leave their Postmates ordering on even though they will not accept the driver when they arrive to pickup food. This has happened to me more than 3+ times in the last year or so. One time the driver was nice enough to drive to another location near by and they had no trouble there. To the manager at this location: Please set the proper hours you are open to accepting Postmates instead of wasting multiple people's time and money.

This is the worst DelTaco location majority of the staff are rude first time i ordered here i thought the server who helped me was in a bad day im like okay maybe she woke up at the wrong side of the bed. The now my second time coming it was worst . This is a shitty unprofessional staff location . No manners bad customer service need to train to provide good customer service . I love del taco I wish they had one a bit closer to where I live which is near the bottom of Koreatown. But this del taco is okay. I always get the mini churros, the chilli cheddar fries, and 2 del tacos. I usually order later in the night around like 12 am. Whenever I order sooner than that the food seems to be less flavorful maybe it's just me.

Got a delivery from here food was cold asf & burrito was made incorrectly. It's been a couple times I came here and the food was subpar. Do yourself a favor n choose somewhere else.

I came here late at night, wanting to try the tacos Del carbon. When I was being charged, the guy added something else to my order and then proceeded to tell me that the tacos were more expensive than the price they were listed on the menu. I asked specifically for corn tortillas, and he said they already come with corn tortillas. After driving away, I realized that the tacos were on flour tortillas. I had to turn around and wait in the drive-through again to correct my order. He told me to pull up in the front of the store and he would bring them out to me. After 10 minutes, he came back out and said that they didn't even have any corn tortillas available, worst experience ever if you decide to go to Del taco, don't go to this location

Spent nearly $50 on my delivery order today and they didn't include so much as 1 packet of taco sauce. No sauce of any kind in tacos & burritos. Also missed the sour cream we were upcharged for. No napkins. Thanks for the 1 fork. If this is how much my business is valued then this is the last time for del taco. This location needs a new manager.

whoever was working in the kitchen 3/21/24 at 2:30am deserves a raise. this location has always been notoriously bad for years (if you know, you know), but for once the food was delicious, hot and fresh, and neatly assembled. no skimping on the ingredients. I always prepare for the worst when coming to this location, but it's on my way home from work and open late, so i usually have no choice. but tonight it was so good I had to say something! thank you to the chef who was taking their time and making the food with love. you made my night
