29 SF Coffee Shops For Getting Work Done - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The Yemeni latte from Delah Coffee is enough motivation for us to leave the house on a monotonous weekday. It’s strong, richly spiced with cinnamon and cardamom, and has just the right amount of sweetness—plus, it goes perfectly with their bee bites drizzled with honey, and fantastic milk cakes by the slice. Delah is also one of the few coffee shops in the city that close at 11pm. Their location in FiDi has a similar set-up and closes at 8pm." - lani conway, julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez, patrick wong

The 19 Best Coffee Shops In San Francisco - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"If you’re the kind of person who can consume caffeine after sunset and still sleep at night, congratulations, you’re stronger than us. Delah Coffee in SoMa is the city’s late-night coffee destination. The Yemeni coffee spot is open until 11pm every night, with more seating than one of those extra-long MUNI buses and, of course, free wifi. Go for the Yemeni latte, which is richly spiced with cinnamon and cardamom, and just enough sweetness to make your day 25% less monotonous. They also have great pastries, like the bee bites drizzled in honey and rose milk cakes by the slice." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez, patrick wong

Nine Spicy and Creamy Chai Drinks to Keep You Cozy in San Francisco | Eater SF

"San Francisco’s only Yemeni coffee house is also a prize fighter in the chai championships. There are zero other places in the city where a group can order a pot of just-brewed Adeni chai, kept warm over a tiny candle, to share while taking in the gorgeous greens and golds of the cafe’s interior design." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
It's always bustling with people and for good reason. This cozy, vibrant café has earned a loyal following thanks to its exceptional drinks and authentic Middle Eastern treats. It’s my go-to spot, especially for their 🌟pistachio latte ⭐️, which is rich, creamy and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of nutty flavor without being overly sweet . Trust me, one sip and you'll understand the hype. They also have a variety of traditional Turkish desserts and savory pies that are delicious. And if you're a tea lover, don’t miss their Adeni chai - it's fragrant, spiced, and deeply satisfying. I recommend ordering it without sugar so you can sweeten it to your taste.

Google
We are very lucky to have 2 count them 2 Yemeni coffee shops in this neighborhood. I refuse to pick favorites because they are both 5 star shops. Come to Delah for the amazing coffee, but stay for the pastries and attention to detail. Lots of seats and tables people working everywhere but also lively tables. If you have questions in the menu they are super helpful don't hesitate to ask.

Google
This gem in the rough serves super tasty, Middle Eastern coffee, with or without an array of spices. A wide range of unique pastries tasted fresh and homemade. Service was super helpful and patient. The place was abuzz with positive energy from people of all walks of life. It's everything a cafe should be.

Google
A great place to work from, hang out with friends, or enjoy a coffee date. Has plenty of seats. Very efficient, fast and friendly staff. We ordered the adeni chai and the bee bite. Both were delicious! The chai was well flavored and very strong. We liked it with no sugar. However towards the end, we got some chunks of tea leaves so we had to waste the last few sips. We got the seeds and sesame bee bite served warm with the honey on the side. It had such a nice lightly crispy top with a soft bread pull between each hive bite.

Google
Cardamom with coffee. What a nice comforting flavor, pistachio latte was a real treat. Music was beautiful and service was intuitive and pleasant. Great experience. We also had the zatar bread. Felt like we where in a different world. Thank you.

Google
A really popular spot to study in so it can get crowded. It can get warm and a bit loud though I think well insulated from the mass of cars zooming by outside. The box of treats are reeeeally sweet. Too sweet!! $16.45 ~25 pieces. Recommended to take transit.

Google
I absolutely love this coffee shop! The pastries and sweets are always fresh, delicious, and beautifully made — the perfect treat with coffee. The customer service is outstanding; everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. The vibe of the place is cozy yet lively, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town!

Chloe Chan

Google
Cozy, decently lively place to chat and get work done. It was pretty crowded, and not many accessible outlets, but the service was very friendly! Didn't expect the chai to be completely unsweetened, very good and spiced otherwise. Bee bites are always a classic choice at Delah cafes :)

Yelp
When looking up Delah locations in SF to meet a friend for some Yemeni lattes, I noticed my Yelp review was featured on the FiDi location in Apple maps. Whoops! That review was totally meant for the SoMa location, which I visited first, so here goes. The service was so friendly here, and it felt like a lively, welcoming space with many people still working or catching up here late on a weekday night. I ordered a small hot Adeni chai latte with oat milk for takeout along with a coconut pomegranate Turkish delight. The Adeni Chai was smooth, lightly creamy, and not too sweet. The Turkish delight was thick, chewy, and delicious. I'm so glad I discovered this place for perfect chai lattes and treats and a thriving work-from-café culture.

Yelp
Delah coffee has some solid lattes and chai, however the customer service is not the friendliest and there are not many outlets or seating for studying. When I went with friends I decided to get the rose latte which has a beautiful gradient from brown to pink and was packed with flavor with every sip. The coffee here is definitely potent and authentic and the rose syrup was sweetened to perfection. Definitely recommend checking out Delah coffee for some great lattes and chai but it is not the best spot to study at.

Yelp
Coffee is great. Atmosphere is lovely and interior is beautifully decorated. Maybe just don't get their frosty breezes? My partner and I were in the area and looking for a quick refresher-- found Delah within walking distance and stopped by. Quite popular on a Saturday afternoon-- there was a sizable line inside, and our drinks took around 15 mins to come out. We luckily found seating when another couple happened to head out. PISTACHIO LATTE (w/oat milk): On their seasonal menu. So delicious! Smooth, creamy, and just a hint of nuttiness. Sweetened just right. FROSTY PARADISE: ???? This tastes like straight up Red Bull LOL. I should have asked before ordering, because "frosty breeze" sounds like a smoothie, right? And "infused" with energy drinks sounds like it's blended in, right? No, it's a refresher-type beverage. But mouth-puckeringly sweet. And for $7... May be for you if you like energy drinks? The flavor difference was jarring... I would recommend only getting their coffees moving forward.

Yelp
The coffee's pretty good. The pastries, for me, were a hit or miss, but i liked their baklava. Staff are okay. The place is nice, although always fully packed, so i can never get a seat.
google avatar

Alayna K.

Yelp
Nice, traditional coffee spot with a modern ambiance We loved the baklava and the rose milk cake. Pistachio latte was a favorite but overly sweet. The turkish coffee was also served in a nice container. Wish they had more large group seating!

Yelp
Shut the front door! I mean get in and buckle up. This is some seriously great coffee! We've been to most of the locations and while the service may differ, the coffee, particularly the Turkish are excellent. Yemeni beans which are full bodied and perfectly roasted. Best part is the after taste is never bitter, yet it is a very strong bodied flavor without being burnt or weak and it has lingering notes of smoked mocha. Just delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Charming coffee shop close to the Museum Of Modern Art. Delah has a pretty simple menu, most of which is coffee of course. It also has Turkish delight, among the treats. Good place to hang out. There's a few outlets in the walls so you can plug in electronic stuff. Best place around this area in the morning. It has all kinds of coffee that's made fresh to order. There's some pretty strong stuff. Honestly it's not that bad for the prices around here. It's about $5 to get a latte. A little more to get non dairy milk in it. There's a few choices including oat. It's about $5 to get a log of Turkish delight. This is a big thing cut into a few pieces. Going in the morning it can get pretty busy. It's not as crazy as many places can get. The place is actually pretty quiet it seems so it's pretty good for working.

Yelp
Lovely lovely cafe experience, kind service, gorgeous coffee and sweets. Excited to come back.

Yelp
This is a great location. My wife and I wanted to stop in for a tea break with a slice of their red velvet cake. We enjoyed their Adeni Chai for two. We love sipping this tea; it warms our soul and pairs so great with sugar. It's silky textured and is well rounded in terms of taste. Their red velvet cake is also delicious! It has hints of coconut which is a plus. This is a great coffee shop to have small gatherings or even to study & read. Parking can be a bit tough but there's an alleyway next to the café in which parking could be found. We'll be back again!

Yelp
We came here for a quick snack, the yemeni latte was really good. The adeni chai was okay. The pistachio bakhlava was good, the iced yemeni latte was also good. Next time i will try the qahwa since that seems good. I would recommend the staff turn off music as not needed and dont play that. Also they no longer make kunaffa cheesecake? Which was sad since thats why we came here so had to try their other stuff Place is nice but can fill up really fast, finding two tables to fit 7 ppl in total was tough but doable. We also got the turkish coffee but it was a bit watered down. Ive had coffee in turkey and can say its not as good but presentation was nice lol. The pistachio cake was like a tres leches like type of cake

Yelp
A very welcome addition to the SOMA neighborhood across the street from the whole foods market with a modern, yet welcoming interior typically packed with techies & their families. The late hours and gorgeous pastries on display keep the vibe humming all day and night. Yemeni Latte, without sugar, has strong earthy, woody elements carrying spicy undertones. I enjoyed this very much along with the minty Adeni Chai. The Milk Cake was the star of the display treats for me. It is typically drizzled with honey, adding a sweet, floral, and slightly caramelized flavor on the deliciously moist cake with pillowy whipped cream.

Yelp
WHEN: Tue @3pm It was during GDC week when a friend of mine and I met here really quick. It was filled with the conference attendees so it was hard to find a place to sit. So service was also slow as I would imagine the staff is scrambling to serve a higher number of customers than usual. It's a 10 minute walk from the Moscone Center. We managed to claim a table immediately, and ordered the following drinks: DELAH QAHWAH - $5.95 Light roast with ginger and cardamom. This oddly did not taste like coffee. It was more like a chai but it was still nice. Way too hot so b e careful. We couldn't try it until after 15 minutes. GINGER LEMON - $4.95 This was nice and refreshing and not sweet, but you can always ask for it. If it were me I'd add some sweetener, but honestly it was fine without it. They made this drink so resfereshing and well blended. ROSE DELAH LATTE - $8.25 I'm such a sucker for unique sounding drinks and even more so at ones that LOOK pretty! It's a mug filled with latte, and topped with rose petals. It tasted like a nice latte, though I didn't taste much of the rose. I still enjoyed the heck out of it. I've always wanted to check out this cafe but in Oakland for thier lovely pastry selection. I was able to try the drinks this time, so one day I'll have the pastry. This location was quite tiny but well decorated.

Yelp
Came to Delah Friday morning. It's a beautiful open cafe, about a 10-15 min walk from Market street. The cafe was quiet with plenty of seating and only a few customers on laptops. The bright milk cakes (similar to a tres leche) in the display caught my attention so I ordered a slice of the rose cake with the rose delah latte. The cake was light, moist, and sweet with the perfect amount of frosting. The syrup at the bottom was great for dipping. Staff said rose was a bestseller but I'm definitely interested in trying other flavors! The latte was beautiful, with dried rose petals decorated on top. It had a darker roast than I was expecting, but as I mixed up the latte (which felt like a crime because it was so beautiful!) I enjoyed the flavors more as the rose and espresso came together. Staff was friendly and answered my questions about the menu. Will definitely be back to try more coffee and pastries!

Yelp
It was an amazing late-night experience. Thanks. Google Maps took us to the side of the alley, and found parking easily. There were two people at the counter, and the place was busy, so we ordered the primary menu, which everyone was talking about The guy who took our order was not in a good mood or tired, but another person was amiable and kind. Everything was good, but the service could be better, especially for the ones who came the first time. Please be patient with them so they might come back. I am looking forward to going back again soon.

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in San Francisco! It's the perfect spot to work, with reliable Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets, and a cozy atmosphere. Their rose milk cake is a standout--delicately sweet, incredibly moist, and absolutely delicious. The coffee here is equally impressive. I recently tried their pistachio latte, and it's perfectly balanced: not too sweet, with just the right amount of nuttiness. Another must-try is their rose delah latte, which is creamy with a subtle, fragrant rose flavor that's not overpowering. I've also enjoyed their cheese pie, which they warm up for you--it's not too salty and makes for the perfect snack. The service is always quick, and the shop is usually filled with people either working or catching up with friends. It's a charming, casual spot that I'll keep coming back to!

Yelp
We ordered the Delah Mofawar coffee, a latte, and pomegranate pistachio Turkish delight, and everything was SO delicious! We paid around $20 dollars for these three items. I especially liked the Delah Mofawar coffee, you could really taste the cardamom (unlike other coffee shops who skimp on it) and it had so much flavor and nuttiness. The setting of the shop was clean, and it has middle eastern style couches and touches through the shop which I loved. It was really nice sitting with my mug taking it all in. The service was great as well, I took my time looking over the menu at the front and did not feel rushed at all. The coffees came out in a timely matter. I would definitely give this place a try while visiting the area.
google avatar

Arti N.

Yelp
I got the adeni chai to share and pistachio baklava. Both were very good and I enjoyed the experience of sharing the chai out the teapot with friends and it was kept warm with the tea light. Despite both of these being a bit pricy (everything is pricy in sf lol), it was good and would come again. However, at times it can get super loud with the music blasting so I had to talk loudly/yell to hold a conversation. Other than that, the vibes were nice, seating was since, and service was pretty quick.

Yelp
Rose cake here is like tres leches with rose milk. SO good. And all the baked goods here. Can't wait to return

Yelp
As a digital nomad, this was the exact cafe I was looking for in San Francisco! So rare to find nowadays, Spectacular range of arabian bites (e.g. various pies, almost mini/thin calzone without the cheese) and mostly a huge array of cakes, baklava, and other sugar-based treats. If you get hungry for more tangible food, Whole Foods is right across the way. The service was solid and the ambience perfect. No homeless folks, clean, and plenty of seating for over 30 people, and it was quite full. There were a solid number of outlets from a power strip on an elevated counter, to a duo of a four-plug outlet along the street-side window, and an extension cord near a smaller sofa type area. Also, were a mix of cushioned seats and sofa type areas, allowing long-periods of work. Fast wifi without glitches. Just keep your orders steady while you work to keep them and this rare gem supported!
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Great selection of sweet and savory baked goods, plus a variety of Middle Eastern coffee options (eg Turkish AND Yemeni). Warm smiles from the workers. Excellent wifi. Just a really cozy place to cheer myself up with a cardamom coffee and a rose milk cake because I had to work on a Sunday..
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here. Always friendly service. Perfect coffee in exotic atmosphere. Hard to find parking.
google avatar

Yelp
First time checking out a Yemeni coffee shop and, phew, the Delah mofawar drink is spicy~~~ Not gulp-down-gallons-of-water spicy. Very cardamom forward (and I know cardamom is a love-or-hate kind of thing). Although I do enjoy the taste of cardamom the drink was still a bit of an acquired taste for me because of how potent the cardamom was in the drink lol. I still enjoyed the drink though. In terms of constructive feedback, the drink could've been filtered better as there was slight grit to it. Also was eager to try the photogenic kunafa cheesecake. I thought the kunafa would provide a noticeable flavor to the cheesecake but aside from the orange flamboyancy the cheesecake tasted like a traditional (yet still very smooth-good) one. Wasn't the biggest fan of the service. At one point both of the two indifferent-attitude girls at the counter decided to work on drinks while the ordering line was growing (and there were only two people waiting for their drinks). I waited a long time to ask for a to-go container for my cheesecake leftovers, so long that I had to tell the friendly table busser, who I saw was about to toss the cheesecake, that I was planning to keep it lol (I was by myself and had to temporarily abandon my table to stand in the ordering line). He apologized and gladly handed me a to-go container. Overall I'd say it's a coffee shop worth checking out if you're curious about the menu options here. Very unique coffee drinks here for sure! Rating: 3-ish stars rounded up

Taylor H.

Yelp
The pistachio latte was amazing, but I didn't love the beehive bread. It's stuffed with cream cheese and the ratio was way off
google avatar

Sneha J.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. From the start, the lady who took the order was unfriendly which just set a very negative tone for our visit. We ordered Turkish coffees and a couple of food items. To make matters worse, our coffee was served in paper cups with a plastic lid. But the real issue was the temperature - the coffee was scalding hot, almost burnt my tongue! No one wants to drink a $5.25 coffee in a paper cup unless specifically requested to-go. I had to toss my coffee out because I just couldn't drink it after that. Food was decent! For a coffee shop, serving coffee that's undrinkable is a fundamental failure. Maybe they were having an off day, but I won't be returning to find out.
google avatar

Meghan K.

Yelp
10/10 favorite cafe in the city. Best part about this place: Every single time, no matter the time of day or who is working, I can order a for-here Yemeni latte that is piping hot and exquisitely made. Bonus: All the food is delicious (never tried something here that wasn't great) and the atmosphere is super relaxing.
google avatar

Joey Y.

Yelp
Delicious. Had the lemon ginger and mint drink. It packs a punch of flavor that's bound to wake you up.
google avatar

Anna T.

Yelp
This cafe replaced Peet's across from Whole Foods on 4th St. The staff was very helpful in helping to select a drink. The place was clean and busy, but we got a table and those around us were pleasant. There was nothing stuffy about this atmosphere. The man next to us insisted we try his Sabaya. Loved it! I had a Yemeni Latte and my friend had some kind of tea with rose. I look forward to going back. Maybe trying some of the great looking Turkish desserts.
google avatar

Bonnie C.

Yelp
I have been to their locations in the east bay so why not give this location a try. Came here on a saturday. This place was packed with people either meeting/chilling with friends or working on the weekend. No line when I was there. Cashier was super helpful when I asked what they recommend. I ordered two drinks, a pistachios cake, and a delah kunafa. Too eager to try the delah kunafa and forgot to take a picture. It was delicious!
google avatar

AJ K.

Yelp
This is actually a review of the brand new Delah location on Clay Street adjacent to The Jay Autograph Collection Hotel. Wow! The service was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. My Yemani Latte was a balanced and bold spice blend that wasn't sweet (which was perfect for me). I highly recommend the Yemani Latte if you love cinnamon and cardamom! I also asked for recommendation from the employee about a gluten free option for a tasty treat and he said his favorite was the pistachio Turkish Delight. It was unlike anything I've previously eaten. Like a low key and less sweet gummy candy filled with and then covered in pistachios. It was so tasty, I bought a sesame version of the Turkish Delight "to go" before we left! Definitely check out Delah as the food, coffee, service and decorations are all very a true treat!
google avatar

Vicky T.

Yelp
We had adeni chai. It has interesting flavor and very tasty. The shop is small but has plenty of seat. Very nice and clean. There was only 1 front desk lady doing everything. She was quite unfriendly when we asked questions. Overall everything was good.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Adeni chai is amazing! I love the seating in this place and the atmosphere. Workers are so friendly and positive. All the drinks and desserts are great I've come here multiple times and tried a variety. The decoration is beautiful
google avatar

Steffi C.

Yelp
After seeing a picture of the Rose Milk cake here, I knew I had to try this place soon and so glad we did! The ambiance is nice, very warm and cozy vibes!! Lots of seating inside but it was fully packed when we got here. Though it was super busy, we luckily got seating inside. The staff at Delah Coffee are super nice and friendly. We got ourselves a Rose Latte, Mocha latte, Spinach pie, Saffron Milk Cake, and the Rose Milk Cake. They have plant-based milk options as well for the beverages . Rose Milk Cake was fabulous and tasted so divine! It was super light and I highly recommend this. Rose latte was a bit strong for me but it went well with the milk cakes. I wasn't a huge fan of the spinach pie. Overall, a wonderful coffee shop in SF!

Yelp
It was my first time here. The cafe looks great and the tea and cheese cake is even better! I am definitely coming back.

Yelp
This is a beautiful new café with an aesthetically pleasing design and décor. I'm not a big SOMA fan but I like to come here sometimes after ice skating at Yerba Buena and it's also right across from the Whole Foods. The café is always busy when I go in there and sometimes it's hard to find seating because it's one of those cafes where people go to do work and hog the tables for hours. A major draw is that it closes at 10pm. For some reason this city has a lack of coffee places that close later. I love anything rose so I'm always getting the rose latte. They give you an option of how sweet you'd like it. Usually I don't like to add extra sweetener to anything but I'd recommend some with this one otherwise it tastes a little too bitter. The rose cake is a little gooey or syrupy which I wasn't used to, but the flavor was good and I liked how the frosting wasn't too sweet.
google avatar

Amal B.

Yelp
It's a nice place with great vibes that remind me of my country. I only tried the strawberry smoothie, but I didn't get the full experience this time. I really liked the music and the staff, who were very nice. Looking forward to coming back!
google avatar

Evgenii K.

Yelp
- Latte seemed a little bitter. But it's beautifully made :) - There's music playing inside, quite loud. - There's plenty of seating. - It's okay, come on in.

Yelp
I grew up close to Dearborn, Michigan and frequent a Yemeni coffee shop (Qahwah House) there. It may be a matter of it being my 'first' Adeni chai, but that's my gold standard. The presentation at Delah was beautiful, but I feel like there are some spices missing that I am accustomed to. However, since last year when I was in town, it seems like this place has become the local hang. I'm glad to see it's doing well! In fact, it was kind of difficult to find seating in the late afternoon.

Mary S.

Yelp
Here's a review for Delah Family: ---Hadil is an amazing barista!!! I recently discovered the most incredible coffee shop, Delah Family, and it's easily become my new favorite spot! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful--stylish, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. But the real standout? Their *rose latte*. It's seriously the most amazing espresso coffee I've ever had. The rose flavor perfectly balances the rich espresso, making each sip unforgettable. If you're a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Poonam M.

Yelp
I recently went and got an iced rose latte after my Whole Foods run and have to say this wasn't the best decision I made. I ordered an iced rose latte which was 10 dollar and the size would compare to maybe a grande. I'm not understanding what I'm paying 10 dollars for it's crazy for a regular size latte. Honestly was not a fan of the flavor I had high hopes for this place because I see it on tiktok but I think they get paid to post reviews. I have also tried other drinks from here and not a fan. The drinks do look pretty so I guess you're paying for the presentation. But it's a great place to meet people and I see some people working or studying on their laptops.

Divya K.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with rose flavored everything and this place is my favorite. Great place to get work done during the day, evenings are busy. They have some street / metered parking nearby. WiFi is good. My absolute favorite dessert in the world is the rose milk cake. It's so spongy and melts in your mouth with every bite. Really pretty and yummy dessert. Lotus cheesecake is also really good, not as unqiue as the rose milk cake - I've never had anything like it. The small teapot serves well more than 4 people more like 6-8 even though 4 is the recommended size. Yemeni tea reminds me a lot of Indian cardamom chai. Rose latte is my favorite drink with the perfect amount of rose flavoring. Drinks overall are all on the sweeter side even at regular level. I will say drinks/bites are a little overpriced compared to other coffee shops. But so worth with all the unique items!

Olga G.

Yelp
It was our first time trying and it is absolutely amazing. The coffee was delicious. The food selection is a lot and it's really good and tastes fresh. Service is also very kind. Would love for them to open location in San Diego so I can enjoy it more.
google avatar

Rey L.

Yelp
Very unfriendly and indifferent service. The woman behind the counter (the one with the hijab) literally slid my pie and chai across the counter without ever looking at me. Someone do her a favor and relieve her of this job that she obviously hates. I used to love this place. Their chai and baked goods are superb. However, the service has gone extremely downhill. That's too bad since Delah is quite unique in its offerings.

Yelp
one of the best coffee shops in the city! i am so happy that we have yemeni coffee here in the bay area - finally! it's always packed - students, professionals, families, friends, everyone gathers here. it's really special. the folks that work here are kind and friendly. the drinks are always on point. the energy just feels welcoming and warm. i've never had a bad experience here (and i come here A LOT). my favorites are: - adeni chai - yemini latte - rose latte - chicken sabaya - bee bites (get them warmed up!) i'll always return to my gem of a neighborhood coffee shop :)

Yelp
I came here on a Thursday afternoon, parking isn't horrible in the neighborhood and it feels safe. There was a lot of seating in this place. I would say it's a good spot for working & studying. I wish I had looked at the menu before hand. I was overwhelmed with the menu because I'm unfamiliar with a lot of the types of flavors and coffees they serve. I asked the person at the register to suggest something. I ended up trying the Iced Delah Chai with regular sweetener and I liked it but I think I would like to try more things on the menu. I plan to look over the menu and be ready this time haha, they have so many different types of drinks and flavors. They all seem good. Something I noticed that I personally don't like about my interaction with the person helping me was they would cut me off when I was asking a question or when I was speaking. My partner ordered an Iced Yemeni Latte with regular sweetener but we both thought it was way too sweet. They drizzled honey or some type of sweetener on the sides of the cup and then more into the bottom. We also tried the Rose Milk Cake and the Chocolate Cheesecake. They were both so delicious. I order both again.

Yelp
Second time at Delah and hd to bring our friends and family here as we loved it so much the first time. Must admit the warm hospitality of the staff is a big plus for this business. I enjoy talking them and asking their recommendations. Our group ordered the Turkish coffee, 3 Yemeni lattes, a strawberry shake, along with Turkish caramel milk cake, a slice of the lotus cheesecake and a rose milk cake. We added a bee bite savory selection later on. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. Everything is just amazing, the drinks are just the best, the Yemeni Latte is my favorite (I take it unsweetened) the spices are just amazing and I love the overall taste. All the savory and sweet selections we had ordered were a hit and couldn't have gone wrong!! I wish they would open one in the South Bay soon. I am confident they will do amazing here!!!

Yelp
Delah Coffee offers traditional Yemeni coffee and pastries, both savory and sweet. While the coffee was excellent, the pastries didn't impress, possibly due to being late in the evening. Despite this, I'd still rate it a 4 out of 5. The ambiance is unexpectedly nice for a coffee shop, and it's usually crowded, indicating its popularity. It seems like a great spot to work while enjoying good coffee. I'll definitely be returning.

Yelp
Delah is a true delight, just like their Turkish Delights! There's a multitude of reasons that this distinctive cafe shines. Beverages are aromatically authentic, traditional Arab sweets available, beautiful Arabic artwork and ample space. With the cafes close relation to downtown, this is an ideal spot to work. It's nicely sized with tables to gather at early in the morning or late at night. WiFi and outlets available. Depending on the time of day it can be quiet or loud and busy. Regardless, turn around is quick with customers dining-in and taking out. The workers do a wonderful job presenting items and efficiently getting orders made. Now, I've been to countless cafes and Delah stands out amongst them. For those non-risk taking traditionalists, they offer typical espresso, teas, and smoothies. But I recommend trying their noteworthy specialities which are genuine Yemeni coffees and teas. They also serve awesome pastries and desserts you can't pass up on. As a chai gal, I was dying to try their Adeni Chai which I got with Almond Milk. The chai was robust, packed a bunch of spice, and very strong! To nibble on my companion and I shared a Sabaya which was warm, savory, and flaky. The taste reminded me of pizza dough; dipped in honey it was wonderful. We also got a Turkish Delight which comes in various flavors--we chose the Pistachio Honey. Soft but firm, it was sweet, nutty, and had a great texture. I want to come back to try their Baklava since they were out. If you're looking for a different vibe then give Delah Coffee a shot. They're located on Fourth Street with street parking nearby and public transportation. They also have a location in Oakland. Phenomenal eats and drinks can be found here plus the perfect spot to work or hang anytime of the day. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This place gets busy but there is some street parking in front and on the side streets. They have a simple menu and I tried the Strawberry acai and pistachio milk cake which was very moist. A great place to gather for coffee, cold drinks and dessert. Many people come here to work with their laptops and there are plenty of seats. But bring your earphones or headset to work as it can get very noisy here. They were playing rap music loudly when we were there and I didn't even hear my order being called. Other than that, it's a pleasant place to chat with friends or work.

Yelp
Walked in and wasn't very busy, plenty of places to sit. There was a few people in front of me to order and slowly moved along in line. Food didn't look amazing or very fresh so passed on that. I ordered "for here" but asked to give me a disposable cup which was fine but not sure why when most others had regular mugs. It's not very clean inside. Hair, crumbs, food on the tables. Boxes around and looked a bit strewn about. I was also fairly disappointed by all the styrofoam cups for water. The cooler in the corner constantly sounded like something was breaking down. I got a Yemeni latte that is apparently infused with cardamom. It was fine but felt overpriced at almost $8. Happy to support local business but don't think I'll be back.
