DeLeo Bros Pizza

Imagine the chewiness and heartiness of a Costco pizza slice, except with a thinner bottom. The crust tasted something like a very mild garlic knot, was as thick as a bicycle tire, and was brushed with what smelled like garlic oil which was a plus. I was surprisingly full after only 1 slice. Overall, it was fine--nothing to write home about. The variety of slices and quick service is the selling point here. The space itself is huge and has tons of seating options + a couple arcade/pinball machines. Bathroom codes were printed on the reciept, which was convenient. Side note: I thought the ventilation system exhausting above the entrance was low-key ingenious.

I got take out on New Year’s Eve day. They make everything there. Dough sauce etc. it’s excellent pizza. Really fresh ingredients and they put a lot on. The lady that took my order and the lady that made it were super nice and welcoming. Another employee asked me if I was good while I waited. The pizza is great. Keep this place open. Prices are very reasonable too

Pizza was okay. Crust needed more crunch and stability. Got two slices warned up. As someone who has travelled the eastern seaboard, this is a fair attempt at NY style pizza for Seattle. Not a lot of flavor in the crust and they brushed it with garlic butter on crust, but the taste didn't live up to the smell. If you're in Seattle, though, closest you're going to get. Great staff and cool joint.

Being from Jersey I have strong opinions about pizza. DeLeo Brothers in Pioneer Square fits the bill. My friend and I split a cesear salad to go with our slices. I had the white pizza with tomato, ricotta, and garlic. My friend had the classic pepperoni. Flavorful chewy crust and a slice you can fold to eat just as pizza is intended. There's a large dining room if you want to eat in. Fast, friendly service made ordering easy, especially on a lunch break from work. They also have pinball! Highly recommend DeLeo Brothers Pizza! New, fresh pizza spot right at the park on Occidental Square, serving delicious authentic New York style slices, with abundant choices and tasty reasonably priced sides. The garlic knots are super tasty and affordable as well as the hand made pizza's flavors that can bring you a little slice of Heaven. Real Italian vibes with quick, friendly, no non-sense service. The employee Michael was super friendly and helpful, their blazing hot oven cooks your order to perfection in a hot New York minute. The owner is a hard worker and putting his heart into his high quality, mouth watering menu and it definitely comes through in the popping, fresh, comforting food he delivers. Great spot to get a quick slice or a whole pie for the family. Abundant seating and games in the back for the kids, just a few blocks from the waterfront, a good spot for an epic meal to enjoy in this brand new clean soon to be staple of the area, or to take and eat on the go or down by the water. Just up the street from a great ice cream spot that pairs well as desert for adventurous souls going all out into foodie paradise. Go see for yourself, try out this true piece of the East with a nice slice or pie, Once you taste the curated flavors and perfected dough, you will know it's going to be one of your favorite places to go while in the area or even worth a trip to experience. They just opened but have the O.G. pizza on lock on this block. Enjoy and definitely worth supporting. The staff are real people and care about their community and enjoy the satisfaction of serving amazing food to locals and visitors alike that won't break the bank. The pizza here was amazing! 🍕 I absolutely loved it — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The crust had that perfect crisp bite, and the sauce tasted delicious. The place has a really welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and quick. It’s in a great location right by the stadiums, perfect for grabbing a slice before or after a game. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in downtown Seattle and craving some good pizza. I’ll be coming back next time I’m in town!

Really good NY style pizza. Really great atmosphere. Large, clean and roomy ! 10 outta 10. And. They supported our group We “heart” Seattle, as we picked up 500 lbs of garbage around lumen field and pioneer square prior to the NFC championship vs the rams. Please support this community gem!

They opened a month ago and I’m glad they did. They have good pizza my favorite is the Margherita and the plain cheese. They now have salads and apparently sandwiches soon. You can also get a whole pizza to go you just have to wait as that is made to order. Highly recommend and also reasonable

A solid slice! Crispy crust, great toppings, awesome flavor. We were walking by and saw that DeLeo Brothers sells by the slice, so we figured why not, let's grab a slice. $6.99 each for pepperoni and sausage, which is steep, but it's Seattle, so I guess that's how it goes. Service was fast and friendly - greeted at the counter and only had to wait about three minutes for our slices to be heated up in the oven. We took our slices to go, but the restaurant is nice inside and seems like a fine place to hang out for a while.

The pizza is ehh and very over priced id describe it as "Costco style" pizza except it's 5 times as expensive and 1/2 as good. $9 for a slice of pizza is criminal. There's a reason why this place is almost always empty. If DeLeo wants to survive much longer in Pioneer Square, maybe try using less dough (not saying the pizza should be smaller) half the dough, half the price. Sorry , but this is NOT NY style pizza.

I love the setup. They are very efficient in getting your order and getting it ready for you. You order, take a number and then wait to be called. Plenty of seating and tvs. They have lots of pizza options. I can't wait until they get the stromboli going. They have refillable fountain drinks. I had two cheese slices and they were really tasty. I'm glad another restaurant went into Pioneer Square and the fact that it's a more casual option is great.

Great spot to get a slice after the game wow, the traffic dies down. Lots of good choices and it definitely hit the spot.

Came by recently with some co-workers for lunch. It's located in Pioneer Square at Occidental Park. Cool looking place, spacious, 80s pop culture theme decorated, which I enjoyed too! Showed up around noon, line was long, waited about 15 mins or so until we got to order. Saw a few dudes leave the line as they couldn't wait much longer. Takes about another 5-7 mins after they ring you up for them to lightly warm up your slice and get your order together. Each of us got a slice each, and I think a side salad was in there somewhere. I got the sausage & mushroom, thin NY style slice, good sized, it was fine, just ok, nothing really that wowed me, pretty standard slice, everyone seemed satisfied. Prices are about $7 for a slice. They do have some other options like Stromboli, garlic knots, cheese bread and a few side salads. Good amount of tables, high tops, corner spots, a back room with arcade games, it was easy for us to find a spot. A center self-serve area to get your drinks, plates, forks etc. If you in the area for work, game etc, here's a pizza slice option in Pioneer Square.

I've come by a couple times to get a quick slice on my lunch break. I've gotten their margherita. They use ricotta on their margherita instead of stracciatella or mozzarella which is interesting. I love ricotta, but I think that it makes for too dry of a slice. Stracciatella is almost essential for an authentic margherita. When I checked out here, the iPad at the counter prompted me to tip, so I assumed it went to the staff helping the customers. One of the employees casually mentioned while I was at DeLeo's that they don't actually receive any of those tips. That really bothered me. As a customer, it feels deceptive to be asked to tip when the people doing most of the work don't benefit. It does make me curious where the tips are going. I want tip money to go to the staff providing the service, not to management or the owners. Because of this lack of transparency, I will not be returning.

Great slices and knots - tasty and fresh. Friendly counter service- beer and wine available. Vegetarian options. Large, modern high ceiling dining area is new and clean.

Stumbled upon DeLeo Bros Pizza after taking light rail to Pioneer Square to get ice cream. They've been open for 8 days and are located in the in former spot of MOD Pizza. The sausage pepperoni slice and garlic knots were heated up and both were delish! Service was friendly and prompt. There's seating indoors and outdoors. They're serving slices for now and will soon offer pasta and sandwiches.

tried this new pioneer square spot! it's big and spacious, lots of tables and booths, could definitely accomodate large parties too! there's even a few arcade games in the back. you can do grab and go slices or full pies. they have a few sides and fountain drinks. we came around opening and pizzas were just coming out of the oven, so it was still warm and fresh. the slices are decent sized but the prices are a little steep, coming in at over $6 per slice and maybe more if you want one with more toppings. the crust is on the thinner side, the pizza is good but overall just pretty standard.

Great quality and size for the price. Seems more authentic than other pizza shops that try using traditional methods. Tired right off of work and barely had to walk to get there; great costumer service, great food options, drinks, and overall a great choice. The seats were also comfortable for once. :)

It's an 80s themed pizza joint in Pioneer Square. I visited before the lunch rush. It's very organized with good signage with a designated line queue right when you walk in. No cutsies! They had a soda machine that looked like the one that used to be on Capitol Hill. The Mystery Soda Machine's cousin, haha Staff were warm and welcoming. I had the sausage and pepperoni. Service was quick. I imagine people would appreciate this place if they had limited time for a lunch break. The dining area was clean. Good music. Good vibes. They had vintage arcade games in the back too. I see this place being jam packed before and after concerts, special events, and game days. Good restaurant for downtown workers too. As I walked out the line was almost out the door. Pretty good crowd for a soft opening.

Stopped in for a slice of combo pizza on way to Seahawks game. Pizza was really good and service was quick. Nice outside seating.

Such a great spot! The pizza is seriously delicious and you can tell it's a real family recipe. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. We even got to meet one of the owners who was really friendly and down to earth. He didn't rush us out at all even though we ended up hanging around past closing. They've also got some cool pinball machines that add to the fun vibe. Just an all around awesome experience with great food and great people. Definitely coming back!

Walked in and the young guy behind the counter mumbles something to my wife. She says "We're good, how about you?" The guy, annoyed, says "no, what do you want?" My wife says "Oh, I thought you said how's it going?" The guy, annoyed more, throws down his spatula (or whatever he had in his hand) turns around and just walks away through the kitchen door. We're like, WTF?! The coworkers noticed, so we ask what was up and they basically shrug it off, asking if they can help with our order. No thanks - we bailed. F that level of total disinterest in customer service. Yelp requires a rating so this is based on that, not the food, which I haven't tried. But it looked like Sbarro style pizza (which I never liked).

Quick, easy. The slice of pizza was nice and warm the garlic knots was wonderful. The salad was a salad. Such a large space with nice seats. The decor was on point. Would definitely stop by again for lunch!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this biz during the Seattle Art Walk on First Thursday. I walked right in & joined the line & selected 2 slices of pizza. I tried a pepperoni & a sausage slice. As soon as you select the slice the pass it through the oven so its hot & fresh. Its served on a plate & if you want it to go then they'll put foil on it. There are individual slices boxes as well. The condiments and napkins are self serve. There's plenty of indoor/outdoor seating & the staff welcomes you in & chats with you. There's plenty of room to find a table & the line moves pretty quickly. I'll be back when Im in the area.

The restaurant looks nice inside and the pizza was decent, but the experience was ruined by the manager's behavior. After a minor miscommunication about paying before using the washroom, the manager threatened to grab me and jam mushrooms down my throat; completely inappropriate and extreme for such a simple situation and minor miscommunication. The issue appeared to stem from a misunderstanding with a soft-spoken staff member who I had trouble hearing , but the manager's reaction was shocking and uncalled for. If you're at all sensitive to being spoken to aggressively or threatened, I would avoid this place.

I wished I took a pic. It's delicious. Late night coming from an Savannah Bananas game, stumbled upon DeLeo Bros and cleaned out their slices of Pep for the five of us. I for one, like cold pizza...but they serve fresh hot delicious glistening-crust crisped to perfection. It's the wide fold-y kind. I ordered ranch for dipping my slice without knowing YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO ...we all had a good laugh Incredibly hospitable crew/owners. The bright, open air indoor/outdoor vibes were inviting and felt safe and pretty dang clean. 10/10 will return to support this biz.

Fine place to grab a slice before heading home after a Mariner's game. Tons of toppings per slice. However, we thought it was a bit oily, almost as if they had brushed the crust with oil after baking. The bathrooms required a code provided by the cashier, which I guess is understandable given the location and the time of night that we were there, but still a bit disappointing for someone who wants to use the facilities and wash their hands before eating.

The best in Seattle if youre looking fir a more traditional pie. Great staff too! We live in the neighborhood and we are thrilled to have quality pizza arrive...finally! Can't wait for the grinders to arrive. Thank You Deleos, dinner was delicious.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at DeLeo Bros Pizza today was so off-putting that I feel compelled to share. As a resident of Pioneer Square, I was excited to support this new local pizza shop. Unfortunately, their service was incredibly disappointing. The shop had a soft opening, but their communication was already lacking--they sent out an email stating the opening was on the 30th when it was actually on the 31st. I arrived today 10.31.2025 right at 10 a.m. to be the first customer, and was thrilled about it. When I asked if I could come in, I was told to go ahead. Just as I ordered a slice of sausage pizza, the server was about to hand it to me when the guy behind the counter took it back and said his aunt was behind me and he wanted her to be the first customer so it would be special for her, obviously not caring about me whatsoever. I was absolutely offended and walked out. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I will not be returning. I hope they improve their customer service, but as of now, they've lost a local customer.

So excited to welcome DeLeos to P square. Met the owners who are working hard to bring a great experience. First slice today but will be back for the full menu once they get rolling. Excellent slices.

Wonderful basic pizza place. I work nearby and have eaten here several times. Comfortable seating. Large slices of pizza. Today ordered slice of margharita and a can of coke - and the bill was $12.46 including tax and a $2 tip. Hard to beat these days. Salads are around $6. Efficient, fast, great prices and good food. I gave it a 5* because I'm thrilled to have a good lunch under $18 with comfortable seating. The stromboli looks awesome and will have to try it someday.

I first had DeLeo Bros Pizza in Minneapolis and loved not only the Pizza but also their Pasta. Couldn't believe our luck seeing them now in Seattle! Service is warm and friendly. And we agreed the pizza is absolutely delicious! Can't wait to have them offer their pasta dishes soon, we will be back for those. All the best to this personable crew with their amazing food in such a welcoming space. We will be back and will bring friends. Great for stadium game days too, worth the trip.

I didn't realize my single slice was $9 until it was too late. I was assured it was 'worth it,' but unless it had truffle or something special, it feels criminal to charge that much for one average, not even large slice of pizza. Just when I was starting to like Seattle again, I got hit with a $9 slice of mid pizza, sold to me with a smile and the promise it was 'worth it.' Disappointing.

This is really good local addition to Seattle! They came in hella clutch being open until 9 when coming home from work. The pizzas great!
