Delhi Garden Indian Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its authentic and flavorful Indian dishes. The food is undoubtedly the highlight of this establishment, with a rich variety of curries, biryanis, tandoori specialties, and vegetarian options that cater to diverse palates. Each dish is prepared with care, showcasing the vibrant spices and traditional cooking techniques that make Indian cuisine so beloved. If you're a fan of bold flavors and hearty meals, the food here will not disappoint. However, the dining experience at Delhi Garden is significantly marred by its poor service and operational inefficiencies. The waiting times are excessively long, even during non-peak hours, which can be frustrating for customers. The restaurant appears to be consistently understaffed, leading to delays in taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer requests. This lack of attention and efficiency detracts from what could otherwise be a memorable meal. Additionally, the parking situation is a major inconvenience. The parking area is extremely congested, making it difficult to find a spot, especially during busy times. This adds unnecessary stress to the overall experience and may deter potential customers from visiting. In summary, while Delhi Garden excels in its culinary offerings, the poor service, prolonged waiting times, and inadequate parking facilities make it a less-than-ideal dining destination. If the management can address these operational issues, this restaurant has the potential to be a standout choice for Indian cuisine lovers. Until then, be prepared for great food but a frustrating overall experience.

Google
We ordered takeout for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. I called ahead at lunch time and asked to pick up when they opened again at 5 and it was ready when we arrived! It came with plenty of basmati rice (one container per dish) which we find not all places do, so we appreciated it. We got - baingan bharta, veg kolhapuri, chana saag and chicken saagwala. All were absolutely delicious - the only criticism we all had was it was a tad too salty for our liking, but still amazing. - @souper_foodie

Google
Too much wait time. The taste of food was good. Malai Mushroom Tikka and Veg Noodles were awesome. They taste better than anywhere else i tried before. Chili Paneer was average. Dal Makhani was above average.

Google
Delhi Garden is a fantastic find! We ordered the chicken biryani and noodles, and oh my god, it was absolutely amazing. The flavors took me back to my favorite restaurant in Delhi, India. We've already ordered from here multiple times, and they also have incredible mal mal kababs. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

Google
Its my go to restaurant wheneven i want to eat outside, my fqvorite is tandoori chicken which is worth the price and chicken makhani. Tried tandoori chicken quantity was good. We got 6 pieces and it costed 13 bucks. Taste was good, chicken was soft and cooked properly. Its a takeaway only restaurant.

Small hole in the wall take out joint. Authentic Indian food and the staff is friendly and well spoke Must try - Butter Chicken and all of their grill (tandoor) items. Keep up the good work.

Google
Ordered takeout from Delhi Garden and was blown away by how delicious the food was! The prices were very reasonable, and the flavors were spot-on. Definitely my new go-to spot for Indian cuisine in the area!

Yelp
Best butter chicken I've ever had .... just stop being stingy with the rice !! lamb vindaloo was amazing first time having it... they have definitely gained a new ongoing customer!!

Yelp
Delhi Garden has the most compassionate and empathetic Chef I have known to date. Chef Sathian and his wonderful and diligent wife Kiran run the restaurant with their heart and soul. Beginning from their choicest quality ingredients in their food, to the passion that goes into preparing each meal per their customers individual choice of spice even to the point of catering to their customers personal preferences like (adding less salt upon request) Delhi Garden is a passionate yet professional restaurant that does not just deliver their best but it is food catered from their kitchen to ours. Delhi Garden stands second to none. Marshall

Yelp
4-Star Review - Delhi Garden, NJ Tried Delhi Garden recently on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit out of the way from the central Edison area, but worth a visit every now and then. I saw some solid reviews online and decided to check it out. Service was good . Atmosphere not that great . Overall, I was leaning toward a 3-star rating, but a few standout dishes pushed it to a 4. The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

Yelp
Some of the best indian takeout in all of new jersey -- ARGUE W THE WALL! An extensive menu and spot on flavors, Delhi Garden is the perfect pick up on days you're craving a really tasty meal and convenient.

Yelp
one of the best place for take out! been going for couple of years! we love dahi bada and kadai paneer from here. service is prompt and packed well.

Yelp
I absolutely love Delhi Garden! I ordered the butter chicken, which came with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfect, and the chicken was juicy and tender. It tasted absolutely delicious. The vegetable samosas had a perfect crispiness to it and were delicious as well and the filling was perfectly seasoned. The sauce it comes with makes it even better! The service is very nice too. I requested an adjustment to the malai kofta before and they accommodated it without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. It turned out delicious as well. I'm always extremely satisfied with the food here. 10/10 every time! The restaurant does not have seating. It is takeout only. There's a table at the front for placing or picking up orders, and they have a decent amount of parking.

Yelp
We always order Ubereats from this place and it's the best meal we've ever gotten from delivered takeout. All the meats are always super tender and all the curries are very flavoured and complex in taste. They also offer Chinese Hakka Indian food, which we were so excited to try. We had a grandma that used to make Hakka Indian Food and we miss that flavour. We tried the Hakka side of the menu with their Chili Chicken for the first time and it was so flavourful and the chicken was so tender, highly recommend! Saag Paneer at this place is must order - we always order this dish bc we love paneer. The goat in the goat curry masala was sooo soft. Sometimes goat can be gamey but theirs is not gamey at all, just full of flavour from the curry masala. The chicken shahi korma is our favourite - it's nutty, with a taste of coconut, a little sweet, creamy and flavourful. We always come back to this restaurant whenever we're trying to decide what to order from takeout, they've never disappointed us! And the best thing is that their prices are so reasonable and cheaper than the other Indian food options (probably bc they are takeout only).

Yelp
People rave about this place for good reason! This is THEEE best place for indian food takeout. Note, this is TAKE-OUT ONLY! We got chicken tikka masala and butter chicken and pani puri. Everything you need is there for pani puri, ans the chicken curries were amazingggg; juicy and flavorful, this is THE indian takeout place. The parking lot is small but loops around so its not too hard to get in. The first two spots you see in the plaza is NOT for guets parking; there is one handicap spot and one spot for the delivery car. This place takes cash or credit, and the pick up area is in this little tent they set up, not actually inside the restaurant. In edison and looking for a place for curry? This is the place!

Yelp
Been two times, delicious food. Can't go wrong with chicken tikka, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, saag paneer, garlic naan. Super yummy plenty of food. Service friendly.

Yelp
One of my fav spots to get Indian takeout. Food is consistently good. A little too salty for me but you can always ask them to adjust salt and spice levels per your preference. Service has always been good. I've been ordering from them for years and never had any major issues. My current favorite order from them is the saag chicken.. soo flavorful. Would definitely recommend checking them out and always order ahead because they can get really busyyy.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
I was expecting a bit more given the number of high praises for this place. The food wasn't spectacular by any means but still good. For some dishes they give you a lot. For others like the curries and masala's, it's far less.
google avatar

Maher A.

Yelp
I come here at least once a week for their chicken and rice platters. Super addicting and delicious platter. Basically Indian style tandoori chicken over basmati rice, with house made white and red sauce, served with naan Make sure to ask for extra chicken and extra spicy 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful Indian food! This place is takeout/delivery only - no dine in option, and it truly is one of the best Indian spots around! We ordered the saag paneer, tandoori chicken, tadka daal, Chana masala, malai kofta, methi malai mattar, bengan bhartu, and methi chicken curry, along with some naan. Great portions, and all the gravy dishes come with a side of rice. We had a mix of mild and spicy eaters and Delhi Garden was mindful that they spiced the dishes according to our various needs. I wish I had photos but our guests inhaled the food before I could snap any. We ordered around 5:30 pm (Sunday) and they said it'll be ready in an hour, so the wait is long on weekends, but it's so worth it!

Fayh S.

Yelp
Hubby craving for Indian food and went there to have a quick lunch but this is a take out only restaurant. It was a bit confusion because there's no actual menu. You have to click on the QR code that they give you. I ordered chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, fish curry, naan, roti, chicken 65 , chicken and vegetable samosas. It was delicious !! Definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
This is becoming my go-to place for Indian food when I visit my parents in NJ. It's located off Rt. 27 in Edison. If you have trouble locating the restaurant, just look for the ugly green building. Kidding aside, its signage is actually quite vibrant and eye-catching. I've ordered Tikka Chicken Masala, Dhaba Chicken Curry, and Chicken 65. They are all excellent. However, for whatever reason, I cannot shake off the urge to get Chicken 65 every time I order from Delhi Garden. It's my go-to dish for sure. It's not cheap any more - now $17 instead of $13 just before the pandemic. But considering how many servings of rice get to go with the dish, it's still a good value especially comparing to other dishes. That said, the amount of rice that come with the dish is nowhere near enough. You're gonna buy or cook more rice yourself for sure. Service-wise, I can't say they are friendly. They are always busy, so their priority is to complete the transaction as quickly as possible. Speaking of speed, it does take 25-35 minutes to get the order ready; so lately I've been calling ahead. You'd be advised to do the same. One other thing, maybe it has to do with NJ's new ban on plastic bags, I didn't realize I've been paying 30 cents for the bag each time I do takeout. So just like grocery stores, bring your own bags!

Yelp
They are an establish GOAT in the area for a reason. Their Indian dishes are great but my go to dish is their rendition of the NYC chicken platte with white sauce. It is the perfect dish in terms of taste, value, health, and balance. It has a heaping amount of flavorful chicken meat on a bed of rice and naan bread. None of the meat or rice is soaked in oils like how typical halal platters are which is amazing. On top of that, their white sauce is also wonderful. The consistency can get a a little thick but just give it a good stir and it becomes thin like magic. All in all, I've traveled far and wide, but I think this has the best halal cart chicken and rice rendition in NJ.

Yelp
My cousin who lives one hour away from Edison in South Jersey contacted me to ask me when I could bring her some food from Delhi Garden. Apparently this spot is putting out good product. Need I say more?
google avatar

Nina F.

Yelp
Really solid take out with good flavors. Slightly price increase if you order on an app versus calling them directly, but food is ready very quickly and even though. You don't go inside the restaurant to pick up your food but they notice when you come up and bring it out promptly.

Yelp
Was looking for local favorites when passing through Edison and wow I am so glad I came here. BEST chicken tikka masala and biryani I've had although my only comparisons are a few popular Indian restaurants in NYC. The tikka masala curry was insane, so rich and heavenly flavor... I'm still thinking about it right now. The chicken was also way more tender than the ones I've had in chicken tikka masala at other restaurants. For spicy levels I got hot, but it was not that spicy IMO. We also got the paneer kulcha (stuffed cottage cheese bread) and wow dipped in the curry sauce they provided it blew my mind too. The cut mirchi bhajias (chilli pakoras) was insanely spicy though and overall we weren't a fan even aside from the spiciness. They are takeout only right now and you should expect to wait 25-30 min for your food if you order on the spot, so I'd recommend ordering ahead of time over the phone or online! There are also 10-12 ish parking spots around the restaurant and we had no problem finding parking on a Friday around noon.

Yelp
Ordered twice to go. The food flavor is pretty good. But, meat rations in the curry are small for the price. The goat biriyani had micro shards of bone. The Naan was good on one of the two visits. I would say that their Vegetarian options are better. The veggies are fresh and clean and the flavors are good!! The meat or veggie samosas are good too. The lady on the phone seemed agressive and i couldnt understand her repeating the order back to me beacuse of her talking speed and accent. The kid at checkout is a cool guy. They got my order right and understood what i wanted both times.

Bryan J.

Yelp
Ordered out from here multiple times and each time the food gets better. Not my usual cuisine but thoroughly enjoyed it each time.

E M.

Yelp
Food was very good. People there were nice and attentive. The only thing I wished was that they had a seating area. It's only take out. Food is always better if eaten right out the kitchen. Take away is never as good.

Yelp
Good fresh North indian food and reasonable price ! They give discount to students as well !
google avatar

Yelp
This place is takeout and delivery only. Food was delicious. Kinda weird that they gave me only a spoon first a dish that required a knife and fork.
google avatar

Yelp
Delhi Garden is a takeout only spot for Indian food located in Edison, NJ off Rt27. The menu is very extensive and you just cannot go wrong ordering anything on their menu. It is not the best indian food, but it is reliable and consistent. There is no seating in the restaurant as it is strictly takeout only. They get very busy on the weekends so give yourself 30 minutes when ordering. I have had their Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Yellow Daal, Chicken Bihari, Chicken Tikka, Chole Bhature, Samosa Chaat, Biryani, NY style chicken and rice platter.

Jaydip B.

Yelp
This is undoubtedly the #1 desi ( Indian + Pakistani+ Bangladeshi ) food place in NJ -- hands down. None of the super-hyped places like Mughal etc. come anywhere close, We ordered party trays of Lamb Bhuna and Bihari Chicken Kabab yesterday -- it was amazing -- out of the world.
google avatar

Damanpreet K.

Yelp
Delhi Garden makes it to our hidden gem list in Edison, NJ. Priced to attract customers of all segments, with a wide variety of Mughlai and desi Indian options. Winners- pick anything from clay oven (tandoor) from tandoori chicken to malmal kebab, you can go wrong. Chicken 65 and Pepper chicken have southern touch and hands down winners. Desi chinese hakka noodles and manchurian are spicy but our favorites. The main courses are a bit of disappointment specifically dal makhani and butter chicken. Dal makhni is a poor man's version of dal makhani to say the least. Butter chicken is a big miss too. Overall, its our go to place for appetizers and snack in Edison area.
google avatar

Randi S.

Yelp
Takeout only Indian Food that is top notch. Hate that I have to call to order and the parking lot is awful, but it's totally worth it for the food. Plus, they have such a good system for checkout -- very efficient.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
When I hear people talking about Delhi Garden I always hear it referenced as the best place for Indian food around. Which has come from friends co worker and even once a random stranger who overheard a conversation I was having with someone. Now I am not expert on Indian cuisine but I have to say I have never been disappointed ordering here. My wife also loves this place and it is definitely her favorite place to order Indian food. Some of the favorites we get are the Aloo Gobi, Saag, Paneer, the chicken tikka and the Lamb Korma. The naan we have gotten here is always great as well. I am a sucker for sweet things and I occasionally get the Gulab Jamun and it always hits the spot. This is a great place to consider if you are in the mood for Indian food and want to get some take out. This is a take out only spot which isnt a bad thing. They get the orders ready pretty quick and I don't think I have had something here I have not liked.
google avatar

Angelo B.

Yelp
We really enjoy the food here. Everything is so tasty. The prices are really reasonable too, especially when you factor in the generous portions. We've tried several dishes and have never been disappointed. My favorite is either the lamb saag or the goat biriyani. The curry dishes come with a side of basmati rice. Id say that 2 curries would easily feed 3 people. Call ahead or order online because it usually takes some time to prepare the food. It's a small place so takeout only. The parking lot is small and often full so you may need to do street parking or risk parking at the place next door.
google avatar

Kathryn W.

Yelp
The food here was really great! My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, the chili gobi, garlic naan, and lacha parathas for takeout. The food was a good spice level for us (and we like a decent amount of spice). The highlights for us were the chicken tikka masala, which had a really creamy sauce and the gobi, which was crispy and delicious. We ordered over the phone and picked up our order in 20 minutes. We also got a student discount which was a plus!

Yelp
So... this was voted 'Best Indian Food in NJ' ? I don't think so...! First, if you saw a Website, that featured a photo of a dining room, set up as a Buffet... one might think it's a 'dine in' Restaurant ... it's not... The storefront you see, has no access to 'indoors' You order outside! ( or call ahead) So , OK, I asked for their menu... and he placed the QR Code for me to access... Oddly, and I did find it questionable... the next person to approach, who was of the same cultural persuasion as the 'host', asked to see a menu, and was given an actual menu! We ordered, 20 minute wait... we were # 80... After a sit in our car, I went to fetch the already paid for food, and was told "coming up soon"... As I stood there, observing... I saw all the takeout bags lined up, and people were picking up orders... but I saw where this occurred, and suddenly he went to an area where the bags were, and picked one that had been sitting there... and it was ours... and it was ready when I came back.. but he made me wait! Wtf? As he handed it to me, I inquired "why when I asked for a menu, you gave me a QR Code... the person after me asked, and you gave gladly him an actual menu, why?" Well, he gave it his best "homina homina", and shrugged his shoulders... I said , "yeah, OK, I get it" I could have overlooked all of it, except when we got home, the food was crap. Mostly reheated older samosa, pakoras, and overall just awful ! I've been a fan of, and have eaten Indian food, for well over 30 years, and can actually prepare some dishes myself... We live in Piscataway, close to Edison, and Iselin, which all are Meccas for Indian... I would never go back, my partner found it inedible, I ate it, out of hunger, but it was terribly sub-standard, and would never go back, nor would I recommend it. Not to mention, it went right through me this morning! Horrible experience!

Yelp
Wow I am seriously impressed with this spot! I think the reviews speak for themselves. I came to pick up dinner last week and got the veg samosas, chicken tikka masala,, garlic naan, and chicken biryani. Everything was a hit and I seriously have no complaints. I don't usually enjoy samosas but they were delicious from here. Can't wait to try the other dishes on their menu.

Yelp
My wife had a chance to eat food from Delhi Garden and really liked it. Delhi Garden was also recommended to us by others. We finally ordered from there. Overall, it was really worth it. The food is really tasty, well seasoned and generously portioned. Delhi Garden is a takeout ONLY place. You place your order online, via phone and then go to pick up your food or wait for your delivery. Since the initial order of the food, we have returned a few times.

Yelp
Okay I can make this short and sweet. This is the best Indian food I have had in new Jersey. It's all takeout , they have bags and bags of orders always someone picking up. Always fresh and layers of flavor. Welcome to India flavor town. It's just take out.

Yelp
Delhi Garden is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant of all time. I usually get Delhi Garden delivered, but a few times I come here for pick up too. Although I have only tried a couple of Indian restaurants around Edison, I believe that Delhi Garden is by far the best one I have tried. Whenever I call during prime time, their line is always busy and hard to reach. However, their service is pretty fast even though they get so many orders. The place is small because they are mainly a takeout and delivery restaurant. However, there are a few chairs and a sofa for customers to sit and wait for their food. My favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Platter. The price you pay for the portions is worth it. I can never finish a dish by myself and would have to share. They are very generous with the amount of meat they give in each dish. The sauce for the Chicken Tikka Masala is creamy and is a bit spicy. The white and red sauce for the platters are amazing and extremely delicious. Overall, I love the food here a lot and will be back. If you are a Rutgers student, there is also a discount if you show them your Rutgers ID.

Yelp
Delhi garden is always a hit with all my friends! I've been here to get takeout multiple times with different people for some cute delhi garden picnics -- every single person I've introduced it to has loved the recommendation!! I just came back after so long and have to say that I appreciate the COVID-friendly changes that they've made. They had a table outside for all ordering/pickup transactions. We had a 30 min wait time after ordering in-person and had enough time to go to shop around the area, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead of time if you don't want to wait. I usually order the chicken or paneer platter since they're both worth every penny and can serve as 2 meals. Regardless of what you order, the portions are always super large and the pricing is very reasonable. This time, we ordered the papdi chaat, chicken tikka, and chicken hakka noodles! The papdi chaat was just as perfect as always - such a great combination of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. The chicken tikka was absolutely delicious and so well marinated! The hakka noodles were okay; the noodles were so skinny and weren't exactly what we were looking for but they were spicy and tasty. Overall, I LOVE Delhi garden and can't wait for my next picnic!!

Yelp
Food is always fresh and delicious. Their place is always super busy.... This is a good sign!!

Yelp
Disclaimer: I'm not of Indian heritage. My POV is based on being a foodie. I have had Indian food in many locations throughout NYC and NJ. It is located on busy Route 27 and can be missed if not paying attention for the white sign with green letters. Parking is a little tight, it's a small spot with to go only. This has been the best for freshness, flavor and well priced (even post pandemic). Their hours are clear, as well as, the menu. Everything I've tried from Paneer (cheese), naan, samosas, tikka masala and so forth has been well seasoned. Food is made to your order. The customer service may not be the friendliest. Bring your own bags to not pay the additional bag payment and be ready with your order number and payment. Enjoy!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Food is good. Take out only for now, which I'm fine with due to the pandemic There are a few chicken curry dishes. The plain "chicken curry" is a bit bland tasting. Next time I'll try the Methi Chicken Curry Chicken Shahi Korma is good Chicken65 is like a spiced up boneless chicken tandoori Would buy again

Rima J.

Yelp
Our GO TO spot for Indian take out! The food is so fresh and tastes authentic. I haven't found any other restaurant that is up to par in the Edison area. My go to order is paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. You can tell that they don't use any added dyes in their food because this tikka masala looks lighter in color than your traditional tikka masala which is more of a orangey/red. The naan is always so fluffy and soft. I also love their gobi 65 / cauliflower. This is take out only place so no indoor seating. But this does not impact the quality of the food at all.

S C.

Yelp
Best Northern Indian food in NJ. Every dish zings with flavor and love. The pakora appetizer sampler was festive. Kabobs divine. Veggie biryani was masterful. Great mango lassi to top it all off. Cannot stay away from this place and the prices are the best in NYC metro.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
I wish I could "check in" for deliveries because I would definitely become a regular of Delhi Garden. I haven't tried a ton of places in Edison, but the Indian food here is top notch. They are mostly for take out and delivery, and do not have much of a "dine-in" presence. Who cares? I would eat this in the street. I work in Edison, and this restaurant is definitely on our regular lunch rotation... and when we order from here we order A LOT of food. Is there any other way? Mango Lassi- delicious. Doesn't have much of an aromatic taste as some other restaurants make it but it's the perfect blend of tangy and sweet. This is a must not only because it's good but because it perfectly cools my palate after eating something spicy. Vegetable and chicken samosas- we usually get vegetable because my co worker is vegetarian. They are just as delicious as some of my other favorite Indian places. Generous size. Perfectly fried and the vegetables inside are always the perfect texture and nice and warm. Served with a perfect tamarind chutney and the green sauce (I think coriander and mint?). The chicken samosas are good as well, it's a ground up seasoned chicken. I think the vegetable works better because the inside texture isn't as dry as with the chicken, although it's nothing the chutney can't fix! Malai Kofta- super creamy and tasty, generous on the dumplings. Chicken 65- indo-Chinese, it's a nice spicy chicken with a big punch of flavor. Comes with a lime to sprinkle on top which enhances those flavors even more. Hakka noodles- another indo-Chinese dish kind of like a spicy lo mein. It packs way more of a flavor (and spice) punch. Paneer tikka masala- generous with the paneer, nice cream to tomato balance in the sauce. Chilli paneer- I've had better, I went to another place that I think pan fries the paneer before adding it to the sauce and it creates a beautiful texture. The one from Delhi garden is still delicious but missing that texture I have come to crave in this dish. Garlic naan, paneer kulcha- both great breads. I tend to get the garlic naan more often but both are really delicious and great complement to basically any dish. Tandoori chicken- Delicious and perfectly cooked. I think that is everything I've tried so far! Yum!

Yelp
This take out only hole in the wall serves some of the best northern Indian food in an Indian food rich area of NJ. Prices have gone up over the years but it's still a bargain. Order well ahead because they are always busy. Try the pudina paneer tikka. The bindi masala (it will change your mind about okra).

Yelp
Just moved into the area and was excited to delve into the South Asian cuisine here! Delhi Garden is take-out only, but boy do they know what they're doing. They have it down to a T; the whole ordering process and pick-up was smooth sailing. The menu isn't actually that long for an Indian restaurant, which was good news. We ordered the chicken 65 and one of the daal (lentil) soups--both were incredibly satisfying. Prices are reasonable, and the chicken dish lasted us two meals. Chicken 65 is ginger forward, with the right amount of long-lasting heat to accompany the rest of the flavorful spices. We ordered garlic naan (unbeatable) but they also packed two containers of white rice for us, and it went perfectly with the chicken. The daal dish we ordered was VERY spicy, and hot temperature wise, but sweating from eating something like this during the summertime feels paradoxically refreshing. Needless to say that it was seasoned well. Looking forward to the next time we choose Indian for dinner because we will be back to Delhi Garden in a heartbeat to try other dishes.

Yelp
Many friends have recommended this place to me. We ordered for 2 chicken and rice platters for take out. The prices were reasonable and the food was super flavorful. The only downside is that this place does not have any outdoor or indoor seating. It is strictly pick up only. I would recommend ordering the food in advance, since it takes about 30 minutes for your order to be ready depending on the time of day. Also, they have a break between their morning restaurant hours and evening hours.

Yelp
BEST Indian food in the area. If there is anywhere better I want to know Take out only. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I always get extra for a few days....

Yelp
My favorite local Indian restaurant. Have ordered for delivery MANY times. The food is fantastic (I've ordered vegetarian and fish dishes only), and their delivery is prompt and friendly. Tried Delhi Garden after it was recommended by several people and it got a good review on nj.com.
