Delia's Chicken Sausage Stand serves up tasty, locally sourced chicken sausage hot dogs and sliders in a chill counter-serve atmosphere, perfect for late-night cravings.
"Last month, another longtime East Atlanta business closed its doors. The original location of Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand closed on Moreland Avenue due to the sale of the property. According to a customer, employees were apparently informed the Moreland Avenue location would close as of November 22. Delia’s Marietta Street location closed earlier this fall. Owner Delia Champion plans to retire “after a lifetime in the restaurant business,” a representative for the restaurant tells Eater. She continues to sell her chicken sausage products in area grocery stores like Kroger and Publix." - Beth McKibben
"Delia, the founder of Flying Biscuit Cafe and owner of this sausage stand that’s open 24 hours on the weekend, spent over 15 years perfecting her recipe for chicken sausage links, chorizo, patties, and meatballs. Just about every dish where you might expect to find some sort of sausage is available on this menu - get it in lasagna or a breakfast sandwich, meatloaf, or topped with chili and cheese in a bun." - Neal Cohen
