East Atlanta Doughnut Shop Happy Donuts Appears to Have Closed on Flat Shoals - Eater Atlanta
"Last month, another longtime East Atlanta business closed its doors. The original location of Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand closed on Moreland Avenue due to the sale of the property. According to a customer, employees were apparently informed the Moreland Avenue location would close as of November 22. Delia’s Marietta Street location closed earlier this fall. Owner Delia Champion plans to retire “after a lifetime in the restaurant business,” a representative for the restaurant tells Eater. She continues to sell her chicken sausage products in area grocery stores like Kroger and Publix." - Beth McKibben
Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand - Review - East Atlanta Village - Atlanta - The Infatuation
"Delia, the founder of Flying Biscuit Cafe and owner of this sausage stand that’s open 24 hours on the weekend, spent over 15 years perfecting her recipe for chicken sausage links, chorizo, patties, and meatballs. Just about every dish where you might expect to find some sort of sausage is available on this menu - get it in lasagna or a breakfast sandwich, meatloaf, or topped with chili and cheese in a bun." - Neal Cohen
I love the fact that I can get anything clucked off which is their version of Vegetarian. They have slightly change the menu since the pandemic began but they still have a lot of options and retained a lot of favorites!!! It’s definitely a shorter menu and it looks like some of their more infamous complicated items are no longer there for instance they’re used to be a item that had collard greens and mac & cheese along with their chicken sausage it could still be on the menu but I haven’t seen it. But the food is still A1 retaining it’s delicious taste!

Pretty good late night food, and breakfast sandwiches. The wedges are nice and crispy. My favorite is the chicken meatball sliders, I’m gonna have to go back for the donut burgers especially after a late night of partying!

It’s was great that they finally opened back up…unfortunately they don’t have some of the favorite items from pre-Covid like the meatloaf or the sausage meatballs anymore….I ordered the chicken Philly an was fully satisfied…I will definitely be making my weekly stops in…now that they’re back open full time…

I had the sausage sliders with cheese sauce and they were awesome. Don't go in here expecting to be able to eat in the restaurant because there's not a lot of room. Instead get your food to go and enjoy the cool of your air conditioning in your car. The food is amazing and made fresh and the service is efficient and courteous.

It’s been a while but it felt good to be back.
They don’t have as many options as they used to but it was cool. I’m glad their back open after the pandemic.
Delias is a must try… you won’t be disappointed
