This is our second time dining at Delicias Mexican Cuisine in Desert Hot Springs, California. Our first experience was wonderful, and this visit was also great.
The service both times were great. The servers were friendly, outgoing, and informative. They answered all our questions and gave suggestions. The suggestions they gave us were delicious.
The food was wonderful and flavorful. The plating was beautiful, but the flavors to the dishes were great. This visit we ordered the Delicias Guacamole, which had mangos, feta cheese, pepitas, and cilantro. This guacamole was a great starter. It was different but very flavorful. I ordered the Enchiladas El Padrino (three enchiladas with your choice of cheese, chicken, beef, or shrimp Served with mole, rice, black beans, queso fresco, and sour cream and micro cilantro.) with the green sauce. This was delicious, and the beef was tender and seasoned nicely. Chuck ordered the Pozole, which is only made on the weekends. The posole was a rather large portion, but Chuck said it was delicious. I had a little bite of the pork, which was tender.
The restaurant is a nice size with a bar area on one side and the mural is beautiful. The atmosphere was quite lively.
Overall, from our previous experience and our most recent visit, the restaurant is fantastic. Awesome service and great food.
The last few photos are from our previous visit.
