"Woodinville’s DeLille Cellars, a longstanding winery specializing in Bordeaux-style blends, is opening a "Bordeaux-inspired restaurant and tasting room concept" in University Village inside the former Amazon Books space. Target opening date: summer 2025, marking DeLille’s first foray into Seattle." - Harry Cheadle
"One of Woodinville’s pioneering wineries since 1992, it specializes in Bordeaux-style blends while also producing a Rhône portfolio, sourcing fruit from top properties as well as its own Grand Ciel vineyard. The wines are textural and refined: Chaleur Blanc (a sauvignon blanc–sémillon blend) is waxy, pithy, and apple-skin flavored, while the entry-level red blend D2 offers polished, violet-tinged, Chambord-like tones." - Bryce Wiatrak
"Prominent Woodinville winery DeLille Cellars will open a new lounge in the former Wheelhouse restaurant space next door later this spring or summer, offering glass pours, flights, and food and wine pairings, in addition to reservations for small private events. DeLille — known for popular Bordeaux-style blends, particularly its signature D2 — was founded in 1992, but has been stretching its wings of late, moving its production and retail facilities under one roof in the Hollywood Station building two years ago. Before COVID impacted the region, the winery had an eye on hosting large tastings and live music in the new digs, but shifted to smaller scale offerings, such as weekly takeout dinners for two. The new expansion should help DeLille ramp up more elaborate plans." - Gabe Guarente
"If your parents are in town and “heard all about this Woodinville place,” you’re going to want to really impress them. Delille is a pretty great bet for impressing anyone with very minimal effort, which is the preferred amount of effort to put forth for these sorts of situations. The back patio, covered with tables, umbrellas, and wine barrels, is crowd-pleasing and elegant at the same time. Just like the wine here (get the Roussanne)." - Aimee Rizzo
"Delille Cellars is relocating all its operations to the former Redhook Brewery property, with a fall opening anticipated. The new 30,000 square foot space will feature retail, event spaces, winemaking facilities, and a three-story retail tower, along with a rooftop deck exclusively for wine club members. Non-members will have access to tours, tastings, seminars, and an outdoor patio. Delille will close its Carriage House tasting room and winemaking facility on Woodinville Drive but maintain its Kirkland wine lounge, Maison Delille, and Delille Cellars Chateau events venue." - Megan Hill
