Stopped by after work for a cool down beer and was greeted by a very nice woman and man who welcomed me instantly. They were very helpful in recommending plates and went with the avgolemono soup and spanakopita. The soup was delicious and pastry just as savory, aswell as the beer. Although the price tag on some of these items felt steep compared to the portions, the flavor was just there to justify it. Not only that but i was able to have my late lunch by the fishtank with a friendly pufferfish named ceviche who tied the experience together.

From the moment we walked into Delphi, we were transported straight to the heart of Greece. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, filled with the scent of grilled meats, olive oil, and fresh herbs. Every dish we ordered was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. But what really made the night special was the service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. This is more than just a place to eat — it’s an experience.

Owner was nice. Kids created ruckus watching the aquarium, didn't mind at all. Food was amazing. A lot of options. They even had a decent pizza. Basmati rice was like butter. Gyro was unconventional but still quite yummy.

Google
Flavor explosion! Food was outstanding. Really blew me away. The ambience was so charming too - the turquoise touches made me feel like I was in Greece. The server was Greek and very enthusiastic about the food and culture. He said they’ll have live music soon too. Hidden gem!

Google
Delphi receives credit for being and surviving since the 1980s. Its longevity is a testament to its solid menu of Greek food. While solid, a lot of our dishes lacked seasoning, some items were overly dry (the falafel), and others could use more olive oil (it’s odd for a Greek restaurant to use olive oil so sparingly). The service was excellent.

Sanae H

Google
The server was very pleasant and accommodating. She knows food and wine well and wants to help you to have a good experience. We enjoyed the food as well. I wish we were here a bit longer to be able to come back again. When I do come to Westwood, I will stop by!

Google
Exceptional food and service! My boyfriend and I were walking down Westwood Blvd looking for a place to eat when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The decor alone made us stop--it felt like we were transported somewhere far from Westwood. The Greek charm and warm ambiance were immediately inviting. Alex was wonderful and attentive, truly making us feel at home. You can tell the restaurant is rooted in authentic Greek heritage, which added to the experience. We're looking forward to returning!

Google
Had a fantastic dining experience at this Greek restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and full of flavor. What truly elevated the evening, though, was our waiter, Afres. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I'm all about supporting local restaurants (and bigger ones).. this restaurant seemed to be family owned from looking at the art on their walls. Now, I only ordered to go. I have no idea about eating on site. However, even though it was getting late-ish on a weekday night, there wasn't a single patron in the restaurant. This might be partly why: The service was good. I received my order which was a simple, Greek salad. Um, absolutely nothing was cut properly. Everything was so large, it was like having crudite with salad dressing. Which wouldn't have been so bad but the mess of a salad was accompanied by possibly THE WORST SALAD DRESSING in the history of SALAD. Run, run far away and spend your hard earned $ elsewhere.. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Sadly, as much as the people were nice, friendly and helpful, I think we should all avoid food poisoning..

Yelp
We were so excited to try a new place, especially after a long day at Universal Studios. Found Delphi on Yelp, and here we were. It's a small dark place with decor that has seen better days. I had trouble because I kept focusing on the old dirty carpets on the floor. The tables are casual and so is the seating, They have a great menu, but unfortunately, the food was not so great. If you follow my reviews, you know I am 100% Greek, and, as such, I can be a little harder on Greek restaurants. Many things were over-salted and hard to eat, others had no flavor. The french fries were pre-cut and overcooked. Needless to say, we did not finish our food, nor take the rest home. I didn't even take photos, that never happens. This is a pass for me.

Yelp
Meteoric fall from grace. Wow. This was my favorite Greek spot in LA, but times are tough and it really showed. The lamb is now rubbery and inedible, with no sear on the outside, some bland rice, and undercooked baby carrots. Nothing Greek about it. The tarama is unchanged, although they have swapped out the nice pita in good olive oil with dry store bought cardboard pita. The moussaka was horrific. Tiny portion, and I couldn't eat it. No béchamel to be tasted, dry and overcooked eggplant, and the baffling raw baby carrots. The server kindly took this off the bill. The swarms of flies and fruit flies did nothing for the ambience. My worst dinner in years, and it came to over $90 even with the moussaka taken off the bill. Sad to see such greatness become a ghost of itself.

Yelp
Back in Westwood and enjoying another meal at Delphi Greek. We had the appetizer combo, pastitsio, the avgolemono soup, a souvlaki skewer, and both the baklava and galaktoboureko to share. Enjoyed a glass of dessert wine. Greek music in the background. Can recommend without hesitation.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Food was fabulous. Saganaki, Octopus, and Chicken Souvlaki were so delicious. Pastitsio was also great. Service was great.

Yelp
Delphi is hard to spot since its kinda hidden. Its a smaller place in Westwood but the decor makes you feel like you're in Greece with all the blue and white and the paintings on the wall. The calamari was crispy and chewy and had a nice tomato based sauced. We got a greek salad filled with cucumber olives feta and garbanzo beans over a bed of lettuce. I ordered the beef kebab and came with basmati turmeric rice some steamed veggies and some really tasty fava beans. We finished the meal with a nice creamy coconut topped cheesecake. Service was quick and efficient as the restaurant was close to empty at lunch mid week. They didn't play and greek music it was just rotating top 40s which I felt took a bit away from the setting

Yelp
Fresh food and friendly service! Loved the chicken souvlaki - very tender and flavorful! The dolmades were tasty and light! Location was super convenient and a fun atmosphere. The service was great! We had a large party and Ezgi took great care of us! Will be back!

Yelp
Had lunch today at Delphi, the food was okay and i definitely want to try it again. The restaurant is very clean but a bit cluttered and bathroom was messy. The hostess Kupper was very helpful and made our visit great. We started with the saganoki and that was very authentic. Only thing i didn't like was that it wasn't flamed at our table, and when it was brought to us the cook just left it on the table, it wasn't cut and kupper cut it for us. She recommended we also try the tzatziki with pita and that was delicious. We had baklava and that was very good too the flavors combined well. All in all the two stars dropped are for the cook, and the messiness. Will be back hopefully will be a bit cleaner and cook is in a better mood.

Yelp
The food was amazing, I will be back for sure Service was top notch. Some of the best Greek food I've had.

Yelp
The fresh rainbow trout was delicious. Unfortunately the sauce spilled out, the tin was bent. Also the roasted potatoes were hard. The carrots eggplant and Lima beans were good. The homemade Dolmas were fantastic. I recommend them.

Yelp
I went here for catering for one of my UCLA orgs! Great staff and customer service! Great preparation of large orders! I'm definitely going to frequent this place restaurant!

Yelp
The owner is SOOO sweet, down to earth, and a genuine good human. He was so understanding with my large order. His food is soooo good!!!!!! I don't have greek food often but now I definitely am! Also he loves Bruins so go study there!!!!!

Yelp
Great Greek restaurant in the heart of Westwood. Great decor, good food good service what more could you ask? I love the hummus.

Yelp
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. Great service and EXCELLENT Greek food. I always get the gyro but I'm dying to try their other dishes. Good for takeout as well as dining in.

Iphone C.

Yelp
I don't ever leave reviews but this place deserves it. First and last time trying this dump. Absolute complete crap! Read other bad reviews. They weren't lying. Ordered 2x chicken gyro plates and got some chopped pile of some sort of wet tortilla on top of undercooked vegetables with no chicken gyro anywhere!! Uncooked carrot sticks as part of entree..seriously?? Under cooked hard potatoes. Chicken skewer plate was tasteless and 4 small portion chicken chunks. And again uncooked carrot sticks and hard potatoes. Tzatziki tasted like watered down sour cream with dill. See pix. Not joking. Staff completely useless and gives zero concern over poor quality. Just tossed it all out it was THAT bad. Wanna waste money and eat garbage? This is your place! Burger King has better Greek food. Any positive reviews must be bought and paid for because no way anybody in their right mind thinks this is good.

Cindy A.

Yelp
Talk about bait and switch I ordered food to be delivered through takeout. I ordered a souvlaki meal and instead they gave me chicken skewers not even close to what I ordered in terms of the items nor the price they charge me for a much more expensive meal than what they delivered, I would never order from them again because they are incompetent and stole my money

Yelp
I have to say I had no idea that there was a local Greek restaurant and I mean Greek because there's so many other ones that claim to be and I am Greek and I've been there 1000 times but this restaurant is by far the closest to the recipes that I grew up with from my grandmother Spot on and what's really neat about this place is it family owned and the mother of the owner is in there doing the cooking which is classic Greek style place matches the quality of the food excellent here's some pics. You guys have to try it I highly recommend it as a Greek .

Jody K.

Yelp
We enjoyed our Traditional Greek vegan lentil & carrot soup with side of Basmati Rice & Delhi Greek Salad ! It's similar to Indian Dal & Rice however different in spices used . http://instagram.com/ healingcrystalsus

Yelp
Great ice cream!! Lala and Sima offered amazing service and customer care. The sausage egg biscuit was amazing

Yelp
Went here around 2:00pm on a Sunday, the inside of the restaurant has nice decorations, including a few fish tanks that are fun to watch while waiting for food. We were the only two people in there and the wait time for a gyro wrap and a gyro pizza was about 15 minutes. On a side note: there is a strange table placed directly in front of the cash register complete with chairs and condiments, which is wierd. Anyway, we get the food and head over to the car to eat it. The gyro wrap, as I was told was mid, with too thin of pieces of meat and too large of pieces of lettuce and tomato. The real issue was the pizza. As soon as I opened the box, I was hit with a funky smell, and as I looked down at it, it looked as if they had poured some type of liquid cheese over the whole thing and let it congeal. From the top the pizza was a pale white all over with slightly colored lumps where I can assume the toppings were. The bottom of the pizza was soggy mere minutes after we were served it. I tried to taking a few bites, often finding my mouth filled with nothing but thick, flavorless cheese. When I did get past the cheese and onto the toppings and dough, I realized that there was no sauce on the pizza, so I was eating soggy dough with flavorless toppings that were lost in a sea of flavorless, foul smelling cheese. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and don't suggest that others go.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Delphi for awhile. Luckily, I work in an area that they deliver to via Uber eats now and have had lunch from here twice recently. The thing about this establishment is that the dishes that are tasty are done extremely well. However, the other dishes are incredibly mediocre. I gave this restaurant three stars because their lamb chops and saganaki are absolutely phenomenal! On the other hand, the avgolemono is just average. It would also behoove Delphi to carry a better quality feta that is served with the olives; their feta was bland and kind of rubbery...tasty feta is essential for any great Greek spot. I would definitely order the delightful lamb chops and saganaki again. I would also be interested in trying their tiropitas, chicken souvlaki, and dips. However, I definitely warn anyone wanting to try this restaurant that the dishes here can be a hit or miss.

Grace P.

Yelp
The lamb gyro pita is actually amazing. I loved biting into it and tasting all of the flavors. I may not be Greek, but I love Greek food!
google avatar

Annie G.

Yelp
I gave four stars because we've ordered in from this restaurant and it was very good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere when you actually go to the restaurant to eat is ... Odd. Hardly anyone was there. There were items on the menu that they didn't have and simple requests seemed to be VERY difficult (like vegetables on the side (?!). Water glasses weren't clean. Still, the food was good and I would order in from them again.

Anagha S.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! The owner was so sweet and accommodating. There are also options for all sorts of dietary restrictions!

Arpita P.

Yelp
The food is super good and affordable, their staff is great, and the ambiance is amazing!!!!!

Ezra E.

Yelp
The ambience is nice , although for lunch there were no people around. The gyro and chicken were so so. Overall it's an ok place

Yelp
Who doesn't love pita bread? I was in the mood for a gyro pita and what better place than a Greek/Mediterranean place. With that said, I thought this place was decent. I got lunch take out and they prep your order pretty quickly which is great if you're in a hurry. The gyro pita was decent. It's a good sized sandwich, which also comes with a side of your choice. The gyro here is a bit on the dry side but the tzatziki sauce makes up for it. I love tzatziki sauce which I think is essential with gyro; otherwise, it would be way too dry. The pita was on point and I don't know how you could mess that up. In all, this is a decent spot for a quick take-out. I'll have to check out their octopus dishes some time.

Eric M.

Yelp
The food at Delphi is fine, but this restaurant is stunningly incompetent. I work nearby and twice recently I have ordered lunch for pickup on the restaurant's own website. When I arrive at the restaurant at the time an email says the food will be ready, they don't know anything about the order because they don't bother to check their tablet for incoming orders. They are also incredibly cavalier and not the least bit apologetic for the wasted time ordering and paying online and walking to the restaurant. They have no idea what they are doing and shouldn't aggressively market services that they don't provide. I regularly get emails from the restaurant offering discounts. Incompetence + a bad attitude makes this a place to actively avoid. If zero stars were an option I would have chosen it.
google avatar

B R.

Yelp
Ordered in from them tonight and was excited as I ate there a million years ago and remember really liking it. Well it did not hold up. Everything was just bland bland bland. It smelled good but there was no flavor at all. We ordered the vegetarian plate, the lamb skewers, impossible meat plate and some eggplant dip too. The only things that were decent were the spanakopita and the Greek pita.
google avatar

Lloyd B.

Yelp
How about a free glass of ouzo? I wasn't sure what this was either, but hey it was free so why not try it...even if it does turn out to be Greek vodka...and it's lunch time...and you have to go back to the office. Check in on Yelp and show your waitress to receive a complimentary shot of what the waitress calls their most popular cocktail - - ouzo (normally $8). Yes, it was minty and SUPER potent. They have a decent selection of lunch specials for $12.99. From kebabs and gyros to fish and salads. I went with the Chicken Riganati, which was a half roasted chicken marinated in lemon juice and spices. It was served with basmati rice and small bowl of Avgolemono soup (chicken stock with rice, eggs, chicken and lemon juice). The roasted chicken nor the rice had much flavor. The half chicken was rather smallish and on the drier side. It was bland and the basmati rice tasted like plain white rice if anything. Where's the savory? On the bright side, the lemony soup was hearty with its large bits of chicken and rice and was surprisingly tasty. It was really good. I could've had a large bowl of just this. If you're starving for a solid meal, take a pass. Maybe think about coming back when you're in the area and in the mood to try something new. Otherwise you're in for a so so lunch.
google avatar

Raheleh M.

Yelp
I loved the gyro sandwiches it's so yummy definitely ordering from them again. They are so kind and always get our order right.
google avatar

Yelp
We are back for take away and Delphi Greek is just the best Greek food at a reasonable price you will ever have here in California. The service is wonderful, always and the menu has something for everyone. They have the best Greek salad and moussaka. Their pita is great as well. They care for their customers and are there for us during this period. They help feed the poor through a FEMA program and they are the best neighbors. Go there.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
This is a place to support during COVID...food is very good and fresh and service is wonderful! Ate lunch here with a friend and he thought the exact same thing! Menu can be accessed in your phone. Tables are socially distanced. All employees wear masks and gloves. And napkins and utensils are individually packed in sealed plastic bags. Ordered the Chicken Souvlaki...OMG was the best!! Chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The rice was very good...not dry and the veggies were so good! Oh and one of the best parts of the dish was the side of beans...they were delicious!! I would definitely come back here.
google avatar

Ronda P.

Yelp
I love Greek food and this place has the best Gyros with the actual Greek break V's the Arabic bread most places use. Their chicken lemon soup is also the best. I'm not much of a soup eater but their chicken lemon soup is the best. I recommended this place to everyone. Thank you to Roozbeh and his wife. Thumbs up.

Yelp
Arrived early @5pm and the only wines available by the glass were domestic and not Greek wines. Dolmades were very tasty. The "two skewer" souvlaki plate of filet minon and chicken was dry and not served on skewers. Reflecting upon the dryness of the meats and the lack of a skewered serving of both filet and chicken seems they were precooked and rather dry. Unfortunate. This is not a Greek family owned operation, just a "Greek restaurant" with private ownership and a lack of authenticity - but hey, it's L.A. right?! The cheesecake baklava was not a big hit with me, the filo was as mushy as rhe Pistachio nuts at the base of the desert. The Coffee was pretty authentic, but the lack of sugar on the dining room table or salt and pepper shakers made the experience problematic. The 4+ star review of this place was not MY experience. I'd rather go somewhere where they actually have a YiaYia or Papoo in the kitchen running the place... but it's NOT a Greek Restaurant - it's a fraud.

Sahar E.

Yelp
The food was horrible and we were not able to eat not fresh at all. The sandwiches was not tasty at all. Zero star for this junk restaurant.

Cheryl R.

Yelp
What is this?! I ordered a pic up for stuffed grapes leaves with meat and rice. It came warm and I have no idea what this is. I am appalled paying 12.99 not including tax!!
google avatar

Adrian G.

Yelp
This is one of the best Greek restaurants in LA. Great Greek salad, spanakopita, moussaka, and other traditional Greek dishes. Very good service and visual entertainment provided by three aquariums laden with colorful fish, sea horses and two baby sharks! They are hatching a shark egg which will give them another shark shortly.
google avatar

Lexa C.

Yelp
Was actually in town to try out the ice cream shop next door when I saw this place. The Greek place near me closed years ago and I hadn't had pastitsio since so was very excited to see it on the menu. The staff was very kind and very quick. They had told me about 10 minutes for the order so I waited outside. Was actually ready shortly before that and they brought it out. Not as creamy as one's I've had before but still very good tasting. Would definitely come back for more.

America O.

Yelp
super good greek wraps with a good amount of meat. close to ucla too so make sure to stop by!

Minh D.

Yelp
The worst restaurant experience. We order one thing, got served something else similar, then charged for the more expensive dish. Worst attitude from both server and manager when we complained about the overcharge. There were flies and mosquitos and a drunk lady yapping at a nearby table all nite. A total scam. Never come back to this nightmare of a "restaurant".
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
AMAZING FOOD! I absolutely love their beef and lamb gyros and avgolemono soup. Their baklava is also delicious. Best Greek food in Los Angeles. I am from New York originally and this restaurant is the real deal, authentic Greek.
google avatar

Camilla T.

Yelp
This is the worst freaking Greek food I've ever had in my 25 years of life! I'm so mad I'm writing this as this food is still in my sight. So we ordered the Falafel sandwich in a pita wrap, and it fell apart before the sandwich got to my mouth! I was holding the sandwich together with my fingers in random places just to keep the sandwich from falling to the plate! As I bit into the thinnest pita bread ever created...I came across the driest falafel in Los Angeles. Disgusting! I only finished half of the sandwich because I hadn't eaten all day, but the second half was donated to my trashcan here at work. My friend also ordered the falafel platter which did NOT look like the picture! The rice was more bland than white rice. His falafel balls were SUPER DUPER DRY as well! Waste of money. Waste of food. Really upsetting experience.

Maryam A.

Yelp
such good food and the owner is so kind I really appreciated him being so patient!! it's also close to UCLA and has free WIFI so it was cute to study there. rlly like this place
google avatar

Lost Dreams ..

Yelp
Good food but issues with service. I ordered the Falafel Plate and the Tzatziki. For the Falafel Plate, I included special order notes which were not followed. I don't recommend the Tzatziki unless you order something else to go with it, as it comes just by itself. They are on Uber Eats if you don't feel like driving.
google avatar

Thomas B.

Yelp
As you walk through the door you noticed the preponderance of blue and white Decor on the inside reflecting the colors of Greece. They have a full bar and the menu was quite impressive. We each tried different foods and shared them and commented about what we thought we liked I had the gyro sandwich and mine was done to perfection I had the Gyros. We all enjoyed our food and we had empty empty plates when we left. That's a good sign at any restaurant. The young man that served at our table was very charming and helpful with the menu. He recommended a really good red wine to go with the meal. It was perfect. I would return and have lunch there again if I was in the area.

Yelp
What makes you go WOW. We have few WOW, First is WOW that you want to have as a resturant owner. That WOW is a type of the WOW you want to comeback again and again and you can't wait to write about it and make all your friends wants to go there too, so they can have an amazing experience like you. Then you have the second wow the one is like OMG I can't believe that happen and I want to let every-know not to go there. I am from Northern California and time to time I visit LA for good food and great company so we can have a great experience. Good experience starts from beginning to ends. I walked into this resturant to have a great experience but a moment I walked in the waiters, she ran up to me and asked what do I want, well it's a resturant, what dose she think I want. food. I responded I would like to see your menu then And I also like to use a restroom, her respond was NO you can't use a restroom then she tossed me a menu. I am not sure why but for what ever reason she had I want to make sure no one has the same experience so I left few food down in a resturant CafeGlase and eat there with family. This place sucks as they don't know anything about customer service. Thank you
