"Highland Beach was sleepy until this hotel came along in 2015 and its restaurant Lattitudes became an instant hit. Diners are still flocking to this seaside restaurant with oversized blue booths, a glass enclosed private room and floor to ceiling windows overlooking spotlit waves. Fish, from local snapper to imported branzino can be simply grilled and served with such enhancements as grilled pineapple relish or a salad of citrus, cilantro and avocado, or more ambitiously prepared, like the crab-crusted grouper with polenta, bacon and sweet corn. Meat lovers have their pick of offerings like prime New York strip with porcini butter, wild mushrooms and truffle mashed potatoes. For a more social and less formal experience, sit at the seafood bar and order raw items or small plates - for those who are happiest breathing in ocean air, there is an al fresco patio." - Beth Landman

Honestly one of the best places we have stayed. Absolutely going back and recommending it to all family and friends. Really liked: Room keys that are waterproof wrist bands! Never worry or forgot about your room key again. Why doesn’t everybody do this!? Beach access with included beach chairs, umbrella, table. Service on the beach with drinks and food. This was really great and not offered many places anymore. Great food and service. Eduardo was excellent. Clean, nice rooms. Very good cleaning staff. Poolside bar. Nice for hanging out. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT onsite restaurant - called Latitudes. 1 suggestion/ dislike: We really didn’t like the fact that there was valet parking only. If we left multiple times per day, it was a pain going through valet and the pressure to tip every time. The valet guys were great and didn’t expect anything but I just felt obligated to tip. There should be a self parking option. Overall- really well run establishment. Staff throughout was great. Very pleased on everything and will absolutely come back again. Only negative for me was the required valet parking.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, from its location to customer service. The food is delicious and the beach is divine. The room was beautiful, but I didn’t spend much time in it as the place itself has so much to offer. Not just in the hotel, but in the surrounding area you’re at the footstep for wherever you’re looking for and you feel so welcomed coming back to the hotel. I can’t wait to go back. Make sure you go across the street to the Chanel side to see sea turtles and fish. The picture does not give it justice, but it’s amazing to see a sea turtle.

We had a lovely time at the Delray Sands mid May of this year. The hotel is in a beautiful beachfront location. The pool and pool bar were lively and fun. We had great service at the beach - chairs, umbrellas and towels set up for you, as well as food and drink service. We had great meals at Latitudes restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were nicely appointed and very clean with great views of the pool and ocean. I look forward to returning soon!

Booked specifically for 3rd floor jacuzzi suite. I got there and there is no tub. I waited in my hot clothes and finally they moved me into the jacuzzi tub above me on 3rd floor. Because I assume the best in people, the jacuzzi didn't work in the room either! ( the outside jacuzzi was broken also! The staff is amazing and helpful. Management seemed right on it. I will finish when I see what kind of refunds they offer. I am off to airport at 6 am

This is our go to resort when in South Florida. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are so nice, friendly, smiling all the time and take pride in making your stay a fabulous one. The food and service are top notch. Drinks are very tasty with service on the beach. Ocean is steps away with beach chairs, umbrella and a table for your convenience. This is the place to go and relax. I left my Apple Watch in the room after checking out, housekeeping found it, shortly thereafter I received a text notifying me and they were nice enough to mail it to my home. Thank you Derric Clark-Excellent General Manager. Honest people. Very rare to find these days. I highly recommend Delray Sands. You will be glad you stayed there!!!

Review of Delray Sands Resort – Opal Collection ⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) Delray Sands Resort is located in a truly beautiful spot—right on the ocean with stunning views that immediately set the tone for a relaxing getaway. We had an oceanfront room on the second floor, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound and sight of the waves was a highlight of our stay. The Latitudes Restaurant deserves special mention. The food was exceptional—elegantly presented and delicious. Dining there was one of the best parts of our experience. However, the room cleanliness was a major disappointment and a serious issue. We arrived late and went straight to dinner after check-in, so we didn’t fully inspect the room until the next morning. That’s when we noticed the bed had not been properly cleaned—there was dried blood on the sheets and green stains on the pillows. It was shocking and unacceptable for any hotel, especially one positioned as a luxury resort. When we called the front desk to report it, the response was lackluster. We were asked, “Would you like your sheets changed?”—which is not an appropriate question in this situation. Since we were checking out that morning, a sheet change wasn’t even relevant. We expected concern, urgency, or at least an apology. Instead, we were told the manager and housekeeping would be informed, but no one followed up until we called again 25 minutes later. To their credit, the resort did remove the $40 resort fee, which we appreciated. But frankly, that gesture didn’t fully address the impact of sleeping unknowingly in a dirty bed. Part of what we pay for at a resort like this is a sense of care, comfort, and cleanliness—and that experience was completely lacking. This could be a five-star stay with its location, dining, and views. But cleanliness and customer service are non-negotiables. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training and room inspections moving forward. Even after the $40 resort fee credit, we still paid $580—and for that price, I expected clean sheets and a manager who actually cared.

This place is fantastic! What a gem! The food is great and the bars are terrific. Everything is dog friendly. The staff are rockstars: Alexis Klaus Veronica Lilly to name a few! 5 stars all around! Ask for a pickle margarita!

Google
This is a wonderful little resort. The staff is friendly and service was great. The food and drinks at the pool bar and the restaurant were wonderful. We also enjoyed Happy Hour by the pool from 4-6 each day with music and 1/2 price drinks and appetizers. There were plenty of pool chairs and beach chairs even though the hotel was sold out for our stay. And our oceanfront room had the best view! I would definitely come back.

Yelp
We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Delray Sands Resort! The staff could not have been nicer. The decor, views, pool and beach were lovely! Our accommodations were immaculate and roomy. We were traveling with a child and requested a crib and highchair for our room. Both were set up and ready for us. We requested an early check in and they were able to accommodate us. Their restaurant, Latitudes, had excellent food and service. The only negative was a very rude hostess and a manager who allowed it.

Yelp
In what would be an otherwise 5 star review, our checkout was awful. Let's start with the nice stuff first: The superb auxiliary staff that was welcoming and nice, remembered our names and were there to help. The room was nice with a great view and was remodeled, the nspresseo machines are a nice touch. The mandatory valet parking is a little strange when there is a empty back lot, which we parked in very late at night by accident only to have the valet run out and say "it's valet only" after we exited the vehicle. He proceeded to take our car to the front without us or our luggage in it. It was actually comical how silly that was, but it was super late and all we wanted to do was check in, and since it was right there it wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately, we were delayed in getting to the resort by a day. We had prepaid for the room in full. Magically on checkout they had charged us an extra 700 dollars for not showing up on time. Thank god we checked the bill. Make sure you check your bills on checkout!! Now this process of fixing the bill took almost 40 min, because we had absolutely nothing to do today, like catch a flight/ buisness meetings/ normal life things it must have not mattered to the front desk manager "Cheryl" after fixing our bill, not giving eye contact or apologizing properly was warranted by her. Even after expressing our unhappiness with the situation, asking the check in employee "Bo" (if I recall properly), what the managers name was...she over heard this and asked if we needed her. Yes we did. We needed her to apologize properly and maybe even acknowledge the fact they accidentally over charged us and wasted 40 min of our time. A genuine apology/ eye contact/ a comped drink ticket or some gesture of actual concern or kindness would have gone a long way. Instead she walked away like she couldn't be bothered. Perhaps she was having a stressful day, but for a manger position she had no customer service skills. The last interaction with this resort was the one remembered and the impact on a business from a stressed out employee is not a good one. Sorry Cheryl, we gave you ample opportunity, even asked you back and you couldn't be bothered with the problems your resort created for us. Thats likely in your job description, I suggest you go back and reread why you have been hired and what it says about customer service, clearly everyone else at that resort follows the guidelines mandated by Delray Sands. Errors happen, we understand, it's how they are corrected and what transpires during the correction that can create a positive or negative experience.

Yelp
We have been loyal patrons since the 80's when this location was a holiday inn. We rented 15 rooms to celebrate our daughter's birthday. This establishment has become unreasonably inflexible with rules which are developed on a whim and enforced on select guests. The food is overpriced and not worth it. The drinks are watered down. I found it difficult to relax and enjoy my over priced vacation and will not be returning as a result. They claim to be full service resort but do not offer and amenities (spa, water activities etc). They do not allow food from the "outside" on the PUBLIC beach because they offer a "full service restaurant " yet they do not offer dietary or culturally sensitive food options (kosher etc). The staff is absolutely amazing and work very diligently to make guest happy. In return, management treats their team terrible, understaffs, and bullies them to enforce absurd rules. If you have small children beware you will not be allowed to take a small cooler with infant formula or drinks / snacks for toddlers. They force you to purchase overpriced fried food and please expect to wait 30-45 mins to receive your greasy food. It is such a shame this place has become such a disappointment. Would give 0/5

Yelp
We wanted a nice view of the Atlantic ocean so decided to stop by the bar located within the Delray Sands Resort in Highland Beach between Boca Raton and Delray Beach. You truly feel like you're on vacation at this indoor outdoor tropical place with a serene coastal vibe. We enjoyed the tranquil ocean settings. The bar area and the adjacent restaurant Latitudes was very busy. Valet parking is $10.

Yelp
This hotel is so fabulous! It's by far the best hotel in the area! It's impeccably clean, every room we had was gorgeous! The service was spectacular! I want to give a shout out to Robert at the front desk who was SO helpful! The beach has umbrellas and chairs and food servers and the Restaurant is delicious! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Food was fresh and atmosphere is delightful! Service was top notch!! Shay and Alejandro were wonderful beach attendants. All attendants should be like them. We overheard another boss Alejandro around and the that same worker kept the tip. He did nothing except order Alejandro around very demanding I may add! However, this resort and restaurant are amazing and my friends and I can't wait to return!

Yelp
Excellent resort. Exceptional staff. Very clean. The restaurant Latitudes and pool bar were great.

Yelp
We booked Resort Pass at this property for the day with visiting family. There were 5 of us, $500 for the day (still less than 1 room) had use of pool, beach and bar area from 9am to 5pm. The hotel was very nice, clean, great pool and beach area. The pros- front desk staff was friendly, check-in for the pass was quick and easy. The common areas were very clean and bright. Pool was crystal clear and there was plenty of seating, umbrellas and tables. The beach chair service at the beach was excellent. We got loungers, umbrellas, tables and towels that they set up. The cons- the bar is not the same as the beach/pool servers, so you can't run 1 tab for everything. The service at the beach is VERY slow! Definitely no hustle. We waited a long time for food, a drink and even the check, which we eventually had to leave and go find the server. The service at the pool was quicker, however server didn't use a tray, instead carried our frozen cocktails under her armpits... not even kidding! We were going back and forth from the pool to the beach all day. At 4:10 the beach server called last call (supposed to be till 5). When we went back up to the pool at 4:30 they said they closed out our tab b/c we left! All of our bags, clothes etc. were still on our chairs at the pool. They also had our credit card. When we got the bill they said we couldn't have an itemized bill but could "look at theirs and take a picture" of it if we wanted. They added 18% because they said we left. This is unfortunate as it tainted the whole day. We spent a LOT of money for 1 day! Valet, drinks, food and resort pass, probably close to $850. I doubt I'll go back.

Yelp
Right on the beach. Suites are large, clean and comfortable. Easy place to relax. Attentive front desk. Nice to have such a good restaurant on the premises.

Yelp
Technically, we came here for our friends' wedding. The event was quite beautiful with the ceremony on the beach and the reception on the outdoor deck overlooking the coastline and the interior reception room with the same view. The wedding was small, comprising of 60 people that fit perfectly into the reception room with the outdoor deck for breathing room. The bar was outside on the deck with a dessert table inside when it was time to serve. The Sands staff were great with the accommodations for the party. We had a lovely time and would recommend if you want a nice private reception overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Yelp
If you are or like New Yorkah's, this is the playce for youse. What's up with the pictures of the black guy and the white girl? Is this some Woke statement? In the property pictures that's all I keep seeing.

Yelp
This hotel could care less about their guests. I called and spoke to Robert and Jo-Beth to let them know that our child is sick with a contagious virus and we would like to postpone our trip to ensure germs are not spread amongst their hotel guests, staff and restaurant guests. They refused to postpone it or offer any alternatives or give a voucher. I wasn't looking for a refund but the ability to postpone to a later date. Instead I was told they are fully booked and have been turning away guests all day. I'm literally giving them the ability to allow another guest to have the room so they could get additional revenue but they said no. They have lost a customer forever, and I'm sure they could care less given they don't care if we brought our sick child to possibly spread the virus. Unbelievable.

Catherina F.

Yelp
I have been coming to this hotel since I was a literal baby. Since before it was even Del Ray Sands. My family and I come every.single.year. So do I recommend this place? YES. The pool, the beach, the bar, the hotel rooms, the views!!!!!! If it helps, I've even seen Adam Sandler here lol. 100% I recommend.

Louis R.

Yelp
Glorious / Magnificent - Staff is amazing - Everyone is so polite and kind and goes out of their way to treat guests well. Grounds are well manicured and the pool and hot tub rock. Tremendous/Gorgeous views. Valet's are super friendly and helpful! - Yes - this sure ain't a 5 Star Hotel - Nonetheless, their is something just so elegant and classy about this place. Felt so @ home and relaxed. Definitely - looking forward to my next stay. Truly appreciated the "Hometown Heroes" discount that was graciously offered. Price may seem high - but, you truly get what you pay for. We were very happy! A+

Kathy L.

Yelp
Truly enjoyed our stay here once again! The staff is very friendly & always helpful. Okay so it's far from a 5-star hotel, but the rooms are nice & clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Wish the bathrooms were just a tad larger but that would be my only real complaint. Free comfortable beach loungers but if you want an umbrella it will cost ya! Also, don't forget to try out the restaurant, Latitudes. EXCELLENT seafood! Fresh & delicious! All in all, nice place to kick back & relax!

JD M.

Yelp
Currently in the middle of my stay here. When I booked and even checked in, NO mention of construction being done. Yesterday, 8/2/22, they at least waited until hammering and drilling until 10 am. Today they started at 8am. I called the front desk. His response, "They usually wait until 9am, but I'll look into it for you. " It's 8:30am and they're only getting louder. Why do I stay at a supposedly nice place? I'd be better off at a cheapy motel at this point.

Yelp
Quite an extremely pleasant surprise to this local family. We chose the Delray Sands Resort because of the close proximity between the rooms, the pool, the outside bar, the restaurant and the amazing beach. As part of our family birthday week-long celebration, we wanted direct access to beach. Our experience started with an amazingly friendly staff from valet parking to front desk. From a zero wait check-in to an impeccable room with an ocean view option that we did not choose ourselves, our entire 5 day stay was a truly sweet delight. We witnessed the beach guy (Shea) go out of his way and above his scope of work multiple times to delight guests and provide excellence in service. Their restaurant, Latitudes, was no different. The menu was familiar and the food and service were amazing. I can honestly say that not even one bad experience or unpleasant surprises took place during our stay. In general, this serene and friendly resort well exceeded our expectations. You must experience this place, preferably during the summer while off season. It really made a great impression on our entire family.

Sheri C.

Yelp
a disaster from the start - booked month ahead - ground floor because we have a dog and we said we want to be able to walk out right on to the beach and they said no problem you have that. When we arrived, we are on the fourth floor. No walk out to the beach. we asked if there were microwaves and Keurig's in the rooms and they said yes. said I needed a microwave for a heated medical procedure. I do for my eyes every day. There was no microwave in the room, and they'd aid we don't have any. The refrigerator was broken and the sink is plugged up. then Mom got food poisoning and we called the check and they came out from Miami and checked her all out and determined she had food poisoning. The hotel said I don't think so. WTH?!?! they disagreed with the medics. they refuse to help us out anyway at all. our stay here will total over five grand and they only gave us a $300 discount. they could care less if we ever come back, which we won't.

Konnie E.

Yelp
Great service and great food. Make sure to meet Sammy at the outside bar...the best bartender around!

Tracey V.

Yelp
We were there to escape Hurricane Ian. The front desk girl named Rebecca was disgusting. She put on a pretentious voice which was quite obvious and talked down to me. She interrupted my work day by making me change rooms when we only had one more night left. I had to relocate my 84 year old handicapped mother and my 2 dogs. She was rude and the assistant manager never apologized, but made excuses and said Rebecca was her best employee. The food was extremely overpriced and tasted like shit! I would never recommend this and I will give my honest review on every travel website can find! There were cockroaches in the room they relocated us to with one hour's notice. I have pictures!

Justine L.

Yelp
The view of the beach is absolutely beautiful. Their bread is amazing. I gave it 4 stars because the entrees are pretty good, but not spectacular or memorable.

Yelp
Love coming to this hotel! This is my second stay here with Family and friends! The rooms are great! The view is nothing short of spectacular. The services are amazing. Overall it's been a great stay. BUT This time around I unfortunately did not realize that the beach chairs and umbrellas set up when I walked down to the beach we're already reserved (in my last stay my family and friends were already set up at the beach when I joined them ) I walked and set up myself, my young son and sister down as soon as we got to the beach and immediately were told by the person who requested the chairs that this was reserved... embarrassingly I apologized and got up and moved to the side... next thing I overhear the same man who had the reserved chairs tell Shay(employee setting up chairs/umbrellas) who was passing by "dude my chairs were taken" and the employee (Shay) turns around and stares at us with the rudest face and shakes his head murmuring something to the guy and walks away. THAT BOTHERED ME! Who is this employee giving me nasty looks and shaking his head at me when in reality it was an honest mistake. The rudeness didn't end there. I then walked up to him as he passed my family and I and asked for our own chairs and umbrella and We got nothing but rudeness and attitude from Shay.. very unpleasant experience. Shay didn't stop there! When my sister requested our family's chairs and umbrella she also requested as the day prior for Shay to set up multiple chairs and umbrellas as we overall were a big party of 12 people staying in this hotel...Shay was bothered by the request and complained to us that he was not happy with yesterdays set up! And how many people will actually show up this time!? I immediately was overcome with anger and I ended up having a panic attack after he walked away! VERY VERY UNCALLED FOR RUDENESS FROM AN EMPLOYEE! BUT Overall I had a great stay again except for my last day! Shay ruined my day. "/

Yelp
I was visiting Delray with a friend and we wanted to spend the day by the pool at Delray Sands Resort. I called in advance to make sure they offered a day pass to use the pool and spoke to Nicholas, who told me they did ($89 for 2 people) and that we didn't need to book in advance. When we arrived and mentioned we wanted to purchase the day passes, the front desk told us that wasn't available. I asked to speak to Nicholas who came out and set us up with the passes no problem. The towel boys were very friendly and helpful in getting our chairs set up. It took a very long time to flag down a waitress, Sarah, to get a food/drink menu. We put in our order....my friend ordered the bloody mary, and the wedge salad; I ordered a decaf iced coffee, and a lobster roll. Sarah left to put in the order and came back and said they were out of lobster because lobster was out of season. There are multiple items on the menu that include lobster, so that makes an issue for anyone who orders any of those items. I ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich with seasoned fries on the side instead. The drinks came out in plastic cups with lids and straws. I wasn't offered any milk/cream or sugar for my coffee so she had to make a separate trip for that, and my friend's bloody mary did not come with any of the garnishes listed on the menu....rosemary skewered olives, celery, celtic sea salt, cherry tomato, spicy pepper. When my friend asked Sarah why none of it was included she said it was because we were at the pool and she then brought him 2 olives in a cup. Unacceptable. There's no reason why those things shouldn't be included, no matter where you're sitting. If you order something from the menu, it should come as listed on the menu. Period. Our food came in to-go containers with plasticware packets and in plastic bags. Listen, I get the no glass by the pool thing, but the amount of plastic bags and containers that were being used for food ordered at the pool and beach was insane. Not environmentally friendly at all, and can't be cost effective as opposed to just getting some reusable non-glass cups/plates. My sandwich came out cold and sad-looking, with plain (not seasoned, as listed on menu) fries. My friend's salad was mediocre at best. Reminder that the chef of Latitudes (the restaurant) is a James Beard award winner. I was annoyed at that point and went to speak to Nicholas again. He was very kind and asked what he could do to help make things better. He had my sandwich remade and it was much better the second time around. Things were looking up. After some time, we finally got Sarah's attention to order drinks. Had the waitstaff been more attentive, we would have spent more money. In all fairness, there was only 2 servers and they were serving both the pool and the beach. When we got the bill, nothing had been comped. Not even the round of club sodas or anything else that we had ordered. I thought Nicholas would have done something for us in that regard, considering all the issues we expressed to him. He also never came back out to check in with us. We then had to pay $10 for the valet, which you can't pay for outside at the valet stand if you're paying with a credit card. So back into the front desk I went to pay. It's safe to say we won't be returning.

Yelp
Very overpriced and outdated. Paid approximately $650 per nite for an average room with an extremely small bathroom. No towel bars or hooks, no cotton balls or Qtips, no replacement of bathroom amenities, no room check as promised to get dirty towels at end of day. No turn down service which we were told we would get. When regusted a boy with a hoodie came and handed us towels, had to ask him to pick up the dirty ones. Single ply cheap toilet paper that is rough. Poorly appointed room. Good Restaurant. Manager kept sending texts of how we liked the stay when we told him and could only offer I am sorry. Why ask then. Stay somewhere else and come for the restaurant only!!

Yelp
Costumer service the best , seafood fresh Y drink all the restaurant is renovade super clean Color perfect the hotel beautifully

Yelp
Great location for a hotel to explore all that Delray Beach has to offer. It gives off a certain exclusivity being on Highland Beach, which is only 10 minutes away from Atlantic Avenue (the heart of Delray Beach). Due to COVID, once you check in to your room, no one else enters it. Each morning, you wake up to a bag of fresh towels and water bottles outside your door, which was fantastic. Other hotels during COVID make you go down to the front desk to ask for new/clean towels, it was a great feature to have them already waiting for you each morning. Highly recommend a room with an ocean view! Great NEST amenities in the room too! Make sure to eat at their restaurant Latitudes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Absolutely delicious for all meals! Take a look inside my stay here: https://youtu.be/uM4ewFOtFgE

Yelp
I came today late night, but I was welcome with smile and warm. My room is very clean and I appreciate you police of "no smoking". I tried their breakfast and I was surprised how delicious is it. Very calm and nice place to stay and relax. Thank you

Yelp
Before I dive in, just want to preface that I'm not usually the type to write reviews or stay at beach resorts! I'm in my mid-20s and this is actually the first trip I've ever done like this. It was a big event that I don't get to do very often because of the cost, so I wanted to write this review in the hopes that it would be helpful for others in a similar position. TLDR: Mostly friendly staff, great location, mediocre property & food - expected more for the money. Would recommend staying only if you can get a heavily discounted rate, dining off-property, and ordering drinks sparingly! If you want a true resort experience, I would look elsewhere Pros: - Location! Truly beach front - Valet & bell staff: Super friendly, fast, and helpful - Restaurant staff: Really friendly and attentive - Accessible dining options by the pool and beach: Always quick and easy to order drinks while at the pool or beach Cons: - Pool & beach staff: Two pretty weird experiences right in a row. Had actually read a couple reviews that mentioned rude staff encounters but was skeptical. Was surprised to experience it myself! Made it pretty uncomfortable to use the pool and beach (the two biggest reasons I chose this spot) - For the record, the manager did take some $$ off our bill because of this which I appreciated - Room: Felt more like a Holiday Inn and less like a resort. We got a discount when we stayed, but otherwise it would have been over $250 a night (not including resort fee and taxes) and it did not feel like a $250+ room. I wish I had taken pictures, but the furniture was old and on the dingier side and poorly laid out. Also had a pretty low quality AC unit - Food quality: The food was super highly priced (as resort food usually is) but was very average tasting. The drinks were alright - Property: Similar to the room. Didn't really feel like a resort. After doing some research, I did find out that it literally used to be a Holiday Inn, and that vibe still comes through In general, I did enjoy myself but I do wish I had chosen a different resort for my big splurge. I hope this is helpful!

Total nightmare to deal with. Completely incompetent. I call to book a room. After bouncing around the phone system for 10 minutes I finally get someone on the phone and book a room. I ask for him to email me a verification and I never got anything. Due to COVID situation I had to cancel my stay so I call and another 10 minutes bouncing around I finally get someone on the phone and this guy tells me that they never had a reservation for me. No wonder I never heard from them. A month later I get a charge on my credit card and again I call and after another 10 minutes to get a person and they figured out they never put my information in there system correctly and only one person could help me and call back again as they were away for the weekend. Now they are fighting with me over the charges.

Yelp
The dining room was very nice, but the food didn't seem fresh to us. Three of us were disappointed, each with his own entree. We dined here on a Monday - not a good day for most restaurants. If I go back and give it another chance, I'll make sure it's on a Fri or Sat.

Yelp
Absolutely one of our favorite resorts to spend the day at. Every staff member has a smile and welcomes you. Throughout the year, you can book a room from 9-5 for an affordable price. Valet parking included. It comes with all the amenities. The rooms are very nice, decent size and very clean. So clean that the housekeeper came into the room while I was enjoying the Mrs.! ;) You can enjoy eating in their restaurant (out/indoor) with the view to the beach or sit at the bar. You can jump into the pool, jacuzzi or take a short walk to the beach. One of the staff members will greet you and help you with picking a great spot to lay out. We've been there a few times and can't wait to go back. Definitely a 5 out of 5 rating and highly recommended.

Yelp
We def enjoyed our stay here. The direct access to a private beach was awesome! The front desk staff, Shay... the beach attendant and The restaurant staff were beyond attentive and a true pleasure to interact with!!!! But the Chic working the pool bar is something else. She needs a lesson or two in customer service!!!! She's the reason this didn't get as 5 star review.

Yelp
We have been coming to Delray Sands every summer for the past 8 years. Front desk staff is very courteous, restaurant food is delirious and always fresh. The private beach is just steps away with bar/food service.

Yelp
Sitting outdoors by the ocean is a major plus. The crab cakes and lobster bisque soup were the highlights. The hamburger, however, would have a hard time competing with a Big Mac. I ordered it medium rare and it arrived close to raw. I had taken a bite before I realized the problem. My server had it reheated and placed on a new bun. The $18 burger is served on a honey type bun which does not hide the fact that your burger is not from a prime cut. Also had some small oysters-at three bucks each. It's not inexpensive here but you feel it's worth the extra dollars for the view. Valet parking is efficient and well worth $6.00. The service was good. The drinks were on the weak side. I'd go back but not for the burger or drinks

Yelp
So disappointed In this hotel..rude employees, dirty and unkept property. It is like an old age home .. the restaurant was the only plus and without that on their property they would be closed...

Yelp
The location is one of the best in Highland Beach. Stayed at this resort while traveling on business in Boca Raton. Views are great, restaurant was good, pool bar is nice, and the room I had was a large suite. Although the decor needs to be updated, if I'm in the area I will stay here again. Nothing better than to have a cup of coffee and watch the waves from the terrace. They also have a resident cat that seems to enjoy relaxing by the entrance.

Yelp
General Manager was supposed to contact me June 14. Never heard anything, so I contacted him June 17. He was collecting information, was sorry about the towel incident and hoped I'd be back again. Customer service and satisfaction so unimportant to this hotel. Take your business elsewhere.

Yelp
I went to Delray Sands this past week with family and friends. This hotel is top notch; from the location (close to the main strip), to the gorgeous beach and pool, to the quality of its restaurant's food, to the incredibly accommodating staff - this place is a no brainer. We arrived for a 6-day stay with a large group of people; some preferred the pool, and the rest soaked up the sun at the beach all day. It was a win-win situation. There was always someone to talk to, to take our drink order, or to willingly set up a cabana. Anything to make our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. We ate at Latitude's many times (breakfast and dinner), and their food is unbelievable. For breakfast, try the oatmeal or the latitude breakfast. For dinner I had the shrimp/lobster with Fettuccine. I had bites of others' meals and everything was made to perfection. I'd like to personally vouch for our favorite beach server. I read a terrible review from a yelper (which could honestly be considered libel), and I am so happy her review and complaint wasn't taken seriously, as this crazy lady clearly was in the wrong. Steve is the funniest, kindest, and most accommodating employee I met during my entire stay. He was off yesterday (well deserved), and it honestly bummed us out. We LOVED Steve, and I have to say that if Steve dumped a lady in the sand, she deserved it! Please enjoy this picture as a recreation of the amount of fun we experienced during our stay. ;)

Yelp
Had the pleasure of eating at Latitudes today for lunch! It was fabulous and so fresh! Probably my new favorite spot! Only complaint, the broccoli tasted like propane probably from the gas flame coming over the pan. Hope they fix this because the food is incredible!

Yelp
I just want too start by saying this was one of the greatest experience I have had in a restaurant/bar. Not only was the view and the atmosphere was amazing but the service that I had was impeccable! My servers name was Alex and as soon as she greeted us it was amazing every step of the way! 100 percent going back and I highly recommend anyone in the Delray area too stop by and check it out! You won't be disappointed I want I want a libra

Yelp
Rooms are nice and location is great. Prices are comparable to others in the region. Valet parking is the only option and it is horrible. The wait is incredible around dinner time because everybody's trying to get their car at the same time. They give you two chairs and umbrella for the beach but then they snatch it at 6:00 p.m. and not sunset like most other decent beach hotels. They do not include a breakfast and the hotel restaurant is only average with above average prices. Would not recommend it and would never stay here again. They are pet friendly and the only reason they're not getting one star.

Yelp
We got married at Delray Sands one month ago and it was wonderful! The food was pure perfection as well as the service. The room was very nicely updated and comfortable. This place is our favorite hidden gem, and we are locals.

Yelp
I used to come here when it was a Holiday Inn. I was last here last year (2013). Since then, they have re-decorated the rooms. They are much nicer than they used to be. They are more modern, and the bathrooms are very nice with a walk-in shower/glass door/ modern Kohler sink/faucet. They are obviously still in the process of renovations. The hallways still haven't been updated. The restaurant serves a good breakfast, but it is also still waiting to be renovated. The hotel people seem more professional & are very hospitable. They only have valet now, but it's free. The reason I come here is because it is located right on the beach. I would come more often, but it's not the bargain it used to be, especially with the $25 daily resort fee & hotel taxes..what would be a $135 a night fee ends up being almost $180 a night & that's with a "Florida Resident Rate" :(

Yelp
I only came to have breakfast at the restaurant located inside the hotel. Sitting outside by the ocean view and the beautiful weather was amazing. Loved every minute of it.

Yelp
We've been coming here for over 5 years for family vacation. We LOVE it. So laid back and relaxing. The restaurant, Latitudes, is amazing. Such great food and wonderful drink selections. This time around I noticed a different type of crowd, my only issue is that some folks bring speakers out to the beach and blast their music. We come here from Miami to avoid that crowd. My only suggestion to the hotel is to not allow people to bring speakers out on to the beach. We love music, we are a musical family but having a party right next to us blasting their music in our faces is not fun. The sound of the ocean waves should be peaceful and serene and does not need background music. Most public beaches in Miami do not allow loud music, this resort should follow! Nonetheless, we will continue staycation here!
