San Diego’s Best Barbecue Restaurants | Eater San Diego

"Another Cohn Restaurant Group venue, Del’s serves barbecue plates near San Diego State University. From a pound of smoked wings and brisket chili to loaded barbecue fries with pulled pork and pickled onions, this casual hangout spot is an ideal place to grab a beer, watch a game, and enjoy good barbecue. Del’s offers barbecue feasts for up to 12 people that include two pounds each of brisket, smoked pulled pork, barbecue chicken breast, four quarts of sides (try the collard greens and street corn), Texas toast or cornbread, house pickles, and onions — making it an excellent destination for big group outings." - Paolo Bicchieri

Family-Friendly Bar and Eatery Employs High-Tech Tabletop Call Buttons - Eater San Diego

"The Cohn Restaurant Group (CRG) opens Del's Hideout this Thursday in the Allied Gardens/Del Cerro neighborhood, where co-founders David and Lesley Cohn debuted their very first eatery, a diner called Rory’s, back in 1981. Del's marks the Cohn’s 23rd San Diego area restaurant, and will combine fast-casual counter service with new technology designed to enhance the dining experience. Each table will have a three-button system that will enable customers to call for the check, summon a smartwatch-wearing server, or request another round of drinks from bar staff. David Cohn told Eater that if guests respond positively to the technology and it make sense for the concept, the group could incorporate it into select new or existing eateries. The 5,400-square-foot restaurant and bar, designed by Phillippe Beltran, is a indoor/outdoor playhouse for both adults and kids. For little ones, there’s a special activity zone with iPads for gaming as well as a suite of retro arcade games. For grown-ups, there are dozens of TVs and a full bar featuring 36 beers on tap, 20 wines by the glass, and a huge bourbon selection compiled by beverage director Maurice DiMarino. Cocktail options include a Rootbeer Manhattan served in a keepsake flask and an Old Fashioned made with bacon fat-washed bourbon. Executive chef Tim Eylens, who created the Texas-style barbecue menu at the CRG’s Coaster Saloon in Pacific Beach, is bringing his smoked meat skills here, offering a lunch and dinner lineup that includes brisket, pork shoulder, and ribs plus rotisserie chicken and prime rib. There are also salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, and burgers as well as plates ranging from blackened local fish with fingerling potato hash and corn relish to barbecue pork belly with cabbage-apple slaw and house pickles. The weekend brunch at Del’s Hideout will include giant cinnamon rolls, fresh biscuits with gravy and eggs, and a French toast skilled with sausage and bourbon-maple syrup." - Candice Woo

This is in a neighborhood so it's calm as far as parking. There were plenty of spots when we went at lunch No wait for a table. The server was very friendly and helpful and the service itself was excellent. There were plenty of people to take care of your needs. We had the Reuben and Q burger. There are several sides to choose from. I got the salad and my friend got the chili. Both sandwiches were good The Reuben did not have a whole lot of meat and the dressing needed to be sweeter to complement the salty sandwich. But it was good! The Q burger was good but the chili was bland. It tasted like the beef in it had been boiled separately before it went into the chili..watery almost. Tea is good. The sweet tea had a hint of sweetness. Loved the dessert menu but did not have any. All in all, cool place with a fun atmosphere and great service. The Reuben was $20 and the burger similar. Kinda pricey!

I've stopped here twice now and have had wonderful service and delicious food and beer both times. The Best Mac is a must, it's a great shareable for two people. Burgers are tasty and they can sub an impossible patty. Fish & Chips are tasty and enough to share. The batter can be a bit thick, but it's delicious! Fries and ranch are top tier. Definitely go on a taco Tuesday! The tacos are big enough to share (with another app or side). I honestly haven't had anything that I didn't enjoy. They also have a house blonde beer that you can get 28oz for $7.50. They also have an extensive liquor and tap list.

Authentic Texas BBQ!! Today is ALL THE MEAT MONDAY: BBQ Plate 3 meats $30.50 // 4 meats $36.50 // 5 meats $41.95 // with choice of 2 sides, house pickles & onions, texas toast or cornbread which is perfect for takeout as it all comes in one big pan. We had 5 meats, smoked meatloaf, hot links, brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork with collard greens and coleslaw for our sides, which were outstanding! Tori my takeout server was so helpful and kind. Love going to this place. Highly recommended to eat in or takeout. Great bar too.

Went there to eat after this year's ComicCon disappointment. Glad we ended the day on a better note. ABSOLUTELY love the BBQ here! We've been to their sister restaurants, but this is where the meats are smoked. (The La Mesa one was recently closed) The food was fantastic! I always find that the best BBQ doesn't need any sauce, and the meat was absolutely delicious without any! THAT'S good BBQ! IMO We were there around 3pm, so it was before the end of the work day rush started. NOTE: My husband and I could not finish the table for two platter, so I made an open faced omelette with six eggs and the leftover meats and cut up fries the next morning. I included that picture too 😏

It was really nice having Mother’s Day lunch here. I came into San Diego briefly and had Mother’s Day lunch here. The corn cake was good, the turkey was great and the drink was so good, Mac and cheese. We had beef brisket as well with stuffed turkey in mash and corn stuffings. The staff were so nice and very welcoming. They had a special menu for Mother’s Day.

Google
First time at Del's Hideout and the B.B.Q. was delicious! The mac and cheese was one of the best I've ever had! The waitress was pure awesomeness!

Google
Great place! Service is amazing and the food is delicious. Oh, and they make the best onion rings I've ever experienced!

Yelp
Great place all around open airy. gets busy on the weekends cold beer full bar. Carolina gold, & dry rub chicken wings Don't forget the rings when .. tell them to bring extra ranch because they love to skimp. But no .l!!. also they have a kids play area so visit you will enjoy again watch your time of visiting.

Yelp
First time here and overall very pleased. Alejandro, our server was attentive and helped with menu choices. Brisket and meatloaf were delish. The chicken breast was cold. Tasted good but no heat at all. Told the waiter and he said they were doing a lot of to go orders and that he would tell the kitchen. It was the only black mark on the meal. Collard greens were excellent as was the Mac and cheese. BUT... for the big platter for two you can't get a baked potato (only for thee or more). WTH? So we got fries and they were okay. A good place with great food and atmos... just get the chicken to something more than room temp.

Yelp
We were able to make it to the last day of restaurant week to try this place and it did not disappoint. Location is definitely unexpected. It's around a quiet road right off the freeway, easy to get to. We went on a Sunday around 4:00pm and parking was easy. Walking in, it wasn't busy at all and our party of 5 was able to be seated right away. Our server and the food runners were friendly & efficient. We ordered off the restaurant week menu and got an appetizer, main course and dessert for only $25! And for a few more dollars, you can get a bbq plate upgrade. Our food came in a timely manner. We had the onion rings, brisket chili and BBQ loaded fries to start, then for the main course, the TJ burger with fries, BBQ sandwich & BBQ plate. Finally for dessert, we chose the Bourbon apple crisp, Banana Pudding and the Bread Pudding. We tried each other's dishes and LOVED them all! Each dish lacked nothing. Flavors were full & balanced. And meats cooked well. The desserts were the perfect amount of sweetness. We were happy that we tried this place. It was a great experience and we look forward to going back if we're in the area again.

Yelp
We happened to have dinner on kids eat free Wednesday. Lots of families! They have video games for kids to play so bring your quarters. They have a kids area for play outside as well. Parking was a pain, the lot was full and it took about 15 minutes to find parking. Our waitress was great, drinks were delicious! The food was so good! They have happy hour. We will definitely return!

Yelp
The great restaurant is off the freeway but hidden off the beaten path of other businesses. Great warm and fun atmosphere for all ages. . It is a good sized sit down restaurant with full bar, arcade, and TVs to watch the big game. The wait staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They made some great recommendations. We ordered the smoked n fried buffalo wings. Fantastic smoked n crispy n meaty buffalo wings. The brisket sandwich, bbq combo, burger, potato salad and Mac n cheese were phenomenal. Everything was so delicious! Bacon potato salad and Mac n cheese were some of the best side in San Diego! A MUST TRY

Yelp
3.5 stars Came on a weekday during lunch, it's in an odd location so the name is quite fitting; hideout is a proper description. I think it's mostly a drinking hole for the surrounding apartment complexes. I got the 2 meat combo with brisket and baby back ribs, fries, green beans and corn bread. The brisket was tender, by no means dry but I wish a little more moist, over all very good. The ribs were very small but moist and tender. Both were very good with the tasty bbq sauce. The fries were very crispy and a large portion. The green beans were nicely cooked they were freshly cooked whole green beans which had a good texture, not the mushy canned type. Service was excellent, you order at the counter then they bring the food to your table. There is also a QR code on the table which you can scan and order thru. There's a lot with parking and also parking on the street. They have great happy hour and daily specials for each day of the week be sure to check them out. Monday happy hour all day

Yelp
Finally checked out this place this year and I can't believe it took me this long. It's tucked away in an area surrounded by housing, off the freeway, so I guess it well earns its name. The place itself is pretty cool inside, with a retro kind of feel (including some arcade games) plus TVs all around to watch sports. Staff is friendly, and it doesn't take long to get seated. Food ended up being really delicious, especially the brisket. Sides are good, as I did like the collard greens and deviled eggs, but not so much the green beans. Will always welcome a visit back!

Yelp
Great hidden spot on the side of the freeway with retro vibes. The waitresses were all so nice! I went for restaurant week and it did not disappoint. Everything was soooo good! The mac and cheese was my favorite thing that i ordered. It was so creamy with a yummy crispy baked topping. The bread pudding was my next favorite. I was so full but it was so satisfying eating the ice cream and bread in large bites. I got the chicken sandwich (party fowl) with the carolina gold sauce and it was amazing. Especially loved that it came with freshly cooked french fries. Will definitely come again even after restaurant week is over!

Yelp
Visited this BBQ place with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon. This place is hidden but once you find it, you'll keep coming back. It's a great place to enjoy with family friends and the kiddos. On this visit we had the brisket sandwich with a side order of the tri-tip steak. The onion rings are amazing as the brisket is so good. Our waitress was amazing. I'd recommend coming here if you like good BBQ.
google avatar

Yelp
They have a bunch of weekday deals, Monday I believe is half off as well as a fun Happy Hour. It's super close to our place so it's a fun little last minute lunch/dinner to have a date. They have a nice patio, that allows dogs. A kid area and a huge bar. It's perfect for lunch during the day or a cozy evening. Service is really friendly and quick as well.

Yelp
Came on a weekday with some friends and it wasn't busy at all. We opted to sit outside and there's a decent amount of seating. Our friend had a baby and they brought us a night chair. They also have a small little playground outside for kids. We opted to order some items off their happy hour menu. Happy hour is Mon through Fri from 2-5. They had two beer options for $5. An IPA and a blonde ale. I got the IPA and my partner got the chicken and waffle for $9.95. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the chicken and waffle. It definitely isn't just an app size. You could eat it for an entree. The flavor of the chicken and the waffle was good.

Yelp
Very cool spot. Hidden gem in a residential neighborhood. Spacious, casual. Full bar and delicious barbecue!! Service was friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We had a birthday party here last night and the service team did a great job reserving out tables and supplying all the food: MASSIVE onion rings, chicken tenders, chicken wings, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, green beans, chicken Caesar salad, tri tip, pulled pork, and bbq chicken. The bbq is soooo good. I'm a pulled pork fan and theirs was top notch. The other family members raved about the tri tip. I was also most fond of the potato salad (it beats my Mom's classic recipe, but don't tell her). It's super festive inside with the decor and ambiance and we all had fun playing the arcade games and watching the assembly line through the windows.
google avatar

Yelp
I had lunch here with a friend. The menu selection looked good with plenty of options. I ordered the SOB salad. The portion size is very generous. I came hungry and could only finish half of the salad. The salad tasted great and I was glad that ai could substitute out the salad dressing for one that is not as spicy. Service was great. Our server was very attentive and able to accommodate most of our requests. For example, the place felt cold so she was able to turn up the heat. Also, the volume of the music was on the loud side and they were willing to turn it down. We did get there when they opened so there were few people then. Nice casual restaurant with fun decor. Lots of space. Good parking. I would like to return and try one of their BBQ entrees.
google avatar

Cathy G.

Yelp
Meh. The bbq was ok, but I'm picky about Texas brisket. It lacks the flavor. Grande Ol' BBQ is the closest I've found in San Diego. The sides were fine. The service was friendly and the ambiance pleasant. It's just another Cohn group iteration. Restaurant Week was a good time to try it out. The menu was basically the same with a 3-course discount

Yelp
I got the brisket chili as a side and had to eat it the next day----it was THE BEST CHILI I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!! I am not local anymore, but the next chance I get to go there, this will be THE MAIN THING I ORDER. Yes, they do serve a great burger. But this chili is out of this world, I will never forget this chili.
google avatar

Crystal D.

Yelp
Came again on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated right away and had our choice of tables. My husband and I split the chicken tenders and the waitress accommodated my request for a half order of onion rings. The server was professional and welcoming. She recommended the spicy bbq sauce which was amazing. That is now my go to sauce for everything!
google avatar

Kimberly G.

Yelp
I've seen signs for this restaurant passing the freeway and am so happy I stopped in! There are a ton of BBQ options ranging from ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, sandwiches, and class bbq sides. My group couldn't decide so we got the feast for 4- it included grilled and saucy chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. We got it with the baked beans, fries, and street corn. It also comes with your choice of Texas toast or cornbread. We got the Texas toast and I don't know if I'll ever be able to stray away from that. Soooo good. All of the meats were delicious and we each liked a different one the best, so you really can't go wrong. All the sides were a good luck with the corn being a standout. There were 3 of us and at least 2 meals for leftovers- tons of food! Service was friendly, quick, and accommodating. We all agreed that we will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely a HIDDEN gem. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We thought the Valentine's special was perfect for our evening together. Loved how quick the food came out and the distinct flavors and aroma. Other than the signature BBQ sauce feeling underwhelming, Dels Hideout is definitely out of hiding.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
This place is pretty consistent on delicious food. Been here a half dozen times. They have special daily meal and the regular bbq items. Some times their brisket, sausage, and meat load are so delicious. Other times the brisket is a bit try (hit or miss). Service has always been really good and for sure will be going back.
google avatar

Mallory L.

Yelp
Yummy food and excellent service! What more could you ask for? Delicious BBQ. We sat outside with our dog and the servers were so kind and accommodating to us. They have an enclosed outdoor play area for kids. So happy we found this place and highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This was by far the worst food I have eaten in years!! Not only was the quality of meat super bad and side dishes straight out of a can disgusting! It was served luke warm!! I throw away better spoiled leftover food . I will say that I would not even feed this garbage to my dog! I do not really enjoy leaving bad reviews BUT I am doing this so maybe I can save someone from a horrible dining experience.. I pray that they go out of business soon! Oh BTW this slop joint was on a gift card list,, I am really upset by this whole dreadful experience,, Save yourself go anywhere else,, McDonalds would be like heaven compared with this HELL:((
google avatar

Yelp
This is my new favorite! Everything we tried was perfect! The restaurant feels like you're having a picnic!!!My favorite meat was everything and my favorite side was everything! Service was fantastic and the staff is really nice! Plenty of parking and a small arcade!!! Check this out if your by SDSU!!! It's worth a try!!

Yelp
When I walked in this place, it was exactly like I had pictured it in my mind (a good thing) - relaxed roadside BBQ joint. It was very clean and welcoming to boot. We were seated at a window (garage door) table and our server was being trained. They were both extremely friendly and attentive, and also were prompt in getting our food to us. One slight hiccup - I asked about one of the ingredients in the drink I ordered, and they said they would get back to us on what it was, but never did, even after asking again second time. I had the bacon washed Tim's Old Fashioned, and while it was fairly delicious, the bourbon was sharp in taste. The onion rings were a spectacle: extremely heavy batter, but with a perfectly cooked onion in the center. And boy did you get a lot - probably enough for a table of four. The main I ordered had meatloaf which was the star of the night - moist, flavorful, and delicious. It also came with brisket which wasn't as flavorful as it could have been, but better than average. The Mac and Cheese was great, and I also had the hominy gratin that could have been a home run if it wasn't cold. (I tested this out with leftovers and it was amazing!) The food was definitely a value for the portions served, but it seems like it really could have been stellar with just some small tweaks. I look forward to trying it again to see if it was an off night.

Yelp
This is the perfect spot for some seriously good BBQ. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the ribs had just the right amount of smoky flavor. Their sides are just as impressive--don't skip the mac and cheese or the cornbread! The drink menu is solid too, with plenty of great craft beer options and cocktails to choose from, and at decent prices. The vibe is laid-back and family-friendly, and the staff is welcoming and super attentive. Love this neighborhood gem.

Yelp
I recently discovered Del's Hideout BBQ, tucked away off the beaten path. I drove by it and had no idea it was a BBQ spot. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Although it's known for BBQ, I was recommended to try their burgers. I ordered the Q Burger and the Peanut Butter Jelly Burger, and both were fantastic. The flavors were unique and delicious, definitely worth trying. The server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I'll definitely be back soon to explore their BBQ offerings!
google avatar

Jordana P.

Yelp
Ordered takeout for the first time Saturday evening. Got the Brisket plate and BBQ chicken. Sides of cornbread, Mac & cheese and fries. Delicious flavors! Had a slight hiccup w/the brisket- however, Dulce handled it wonderfully! Thank you!! Will definitely be back to try again!
google avatar

Allyson R.

Yelp
Paid by card. Del's Hideout is located in its own spot, with its parking lot, and offers indoor and outdoor seating. It is is kind of an odd, residential area, so it's a little confusing getting there. I went on a weekend for dinner and was able to be seated right away. The hostess and servers were nice. I orders the ribs with coleslaw, cornbread, and beans. The sides were delicious!!!!! The ribs had a lot of meat on them as well. I had a great experience here. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely recommend getting sides with the order(s).

Grace E.

Yelp
Finally ate here in person. We usually order online. Food is amazing and so was the service! Definitely plan on bringing more people next time. Hats off to the chef!

Bebop B.

Yelp
Yup. We've been back several times and will be back again. So far, my favorite is the Tri-tip. Collard greens are very tasty too!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice hideout or more appropriately spoken, hangout. Sean was our host and did an awesome job and our two items were great. Yes, pricey as the total bill was over 50 Bucks but as an experience definitely worth it.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Amazing service every time I go there. The Mac n cheese is always is the best I've had in San Diego. Their pulled pork is also really good. Would recommend 10/10
google avatar

Cheryl B.

Yelp
Went here after a little league game and we all had a great time. Good amount of TV's playing the baseball game, fun atmosphere and very friendly service. Food was good. I had the Reuben- the meat and bread were fantastic, so was the sauce but there was more than I like so I should have asked for it on the side. Yummy Sangria as well. It was pricey ($20 for a sandwich) but quality ingredients.
google avatar

Jlsocal C.

Yelp
All around good food and service, bring your appetite for sure. I found the pork sandwich was the winner over the brisket plate.

Yelp
Went to dinner at Del's hideout. The atmosphere is very inviting the food is good. I had the chef special. I would recommend this as a nice place to go have a casual dining with your family.
google avatar

Yelp
I like Del's. My brisket chili was not the hottest when served but for me it was fine. I wish the bowl was larger, it was that good. I ordered Brisket to go. The brisket was Texas style and very good.

Yelp
Just finished lunch at Del's Hideout in Del Cerro. Cleverly named as it's a local eatery hidden in a residential area off the 8 freeway. We ordered the 24 hour Buffalo wings, TJ burger, fish and chips and the breaded crispy chicken tenders with fries and water. No beers for us today. Our tab came out to $87 after the 18% tip and the 5% surcharge they add to tables. This was my first time having smoked chicken wings. We ordered the Buffalo flavor, while I could see sauce on my wings they weren't drenched or wet. Perhaps it's to preserve that crispyness they worked so hard to achieve after carefully smoking it for 24 hours. Hats off to the cooks and kitchen staff who work so hard to make the food, smoking food for 24 hours is no easy task! While I usually don't like fish or fish and chips. I liked the breading of the cod and the tartar sauce it came with. I had a few bites but my entree was the TJ burger. I love Mexican food + I was craving a burger so the two married together was nice. Inside was a large smoked Anaheim chili pepper and a creamy mayo sauce. It was not spicy despite that there were intimidating looking seeds on the pepper. It was delicious in combination with the toasted brioche bun. I was slightly turned off by the yellow lettuce that came with it. My TJ burger came with the option of fries or I could pay $2 extra to upgrade it Mac and cheese. Which was great because I wanted to try the Mac but did not need a large appetizer portion. The panko crumbs added a nice crunch to the mac noodles. The cheese never got dry and hard as it was a cream base. I enjoyed it. Del's Hideout is a great location to hangout and watch sports. There are TVs all over and visible from some parts of the patio. We had one right above our table outside. This is a random comment but I felt like the patio was tight. Not a lot of walkway if you're sitting along the perimeter of the space but it's next to a kids play area that is covered. Cool concept for people with little kiddos who want to eat and play.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
We really enjoyed Dels Hideout. It's an easy place to walk into and grab a table with a good variety of food and drinks. The two meat platter was plenty of food for one and probably enough for two. The ribs fell off the bone and I could cut the brisket with a fork while the fat melted in my mouth. The potato salad was probably one of the best I've ever had with a unique flavor. We also had the PB&J burger which had a great flavor. The Mac n cheese side was really good with seasoned panko. Look forward to coming back!

Yelp
I'm always on the hunt for good BBQ so I was excited to try this place after playing some pickleball with friends. I appreciate that it's off the beaten path but the parking lot was very small and street parking is tough. Got the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and collard greens. The sandwich was pretty good, the slaw was a little too sweet for my taste and I wish they had used dill pickles instead of bread and butter. The mac was okay, and the collard greens were very good. I also had a bite of the hominy gratin and that was super tasty. Service was good, overall a cute place and not too loud for a Friday night. I'd definitely come back and try some of their other BBQ meats!
google avatar

Emily E.

Yelp
We love Del's hideout. It's a great spot to eat with kids- they have an enclosed outdoor play area that's really great for younger kids. It's right next to tables that are shaded. Ask for Torrie- she's especially good waiting on families with kids. She knows not to say the "d" word too loud (dessert) and she deftly maneuvers around rambunctious kids with patience. The food is really good. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. We also love to come on Tuesdays for taco Tuesday deals and happy hour margs. There's ample parking and cool arcade games inside for the older kids! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Del's hideout is a great place to hangout and watch the Pads. It's dog friendly and I usually bring my bernedoodle once every so often. I usually come over here for some BBQ as there aren't a ton of options in the area for that. The bbq loaded fries are pretty good. Definitely a ton of cheese/queso that I think takes over the flavor and hides the pulled pork flavor, but it's usually my go to appetizer. The onions rings are huge and it's definitely a full course meal and can feed the kids pretty easily . The brisket is by far my favorite to get here as it has that perfect mix of bbq and seasoning. The TJ Burger is quite delicious. Lots of flavor that packs a punch between the aioli sauce and pepper jack cheese. The actually meat could be a little more but I'm not surprised in this type of economy of the amount of meat but it's a decent amount. Service typically is a 8.5+ out of 10. I've had a server completely forget about us but I won't let that one experience take away a star. Alicia is very friendly and attentive. Overall good place to go for family lunch/dinner or just to grab some beers with the chads.

Yelp
So sad. We ordered 4 hamburgers and 4 sides for $96 and the burgers were overcooked and dry. I am still bummed.

Yelp
Food - 4/5 - We ordered a family combo meal + a rib combo plate, this was for 4 people. Portions were solid and the combo meals come with lots of variety in sides that you can choose from and meats Highly recommend the street corn as a side!! The brisket, ribs, and pulled pork were all SO delicious. The smoked chicken had sort of a funny taste and texture that we didn't really enjoy as much. We also really enjoyed the corn bread, cole slaw, and baked beans. we'll come back again cuz overall the experience was wonderful and the food was tasty all while being reasonably priced. Service - 4/5 good service, our server was very friendly and funny. We were here for Father's Day and the place was reallly busy so I imagine our server didn't visit our table as often as they wanted to/should have due to that. Ambiance - 5/5 - Enjoyed how casual it was. It was a sports-bar theme since there was lots of sport paraphernalia and tvs playing sports. Overall 4/5

Yelp
The brisket. The brisket. The brisket. Five stars, just come. Great place for brunch, spacious, and clean. Love the location, feels like home.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem. Finally took the leap after driving past it and I am frankly blown away. The beer selection is incredible! And their cocktails ate fantastic as well, very balanced! The vibe is like a back yard BBQ with sports on! I would take a picture of the loaded fries, but they were so good it didn't even last at our table! Above all else, the service here so great. Josh and Dulce are incredibly attentive and personable. They made us feel like valued regulars despite it being our first time in! I will be coming back here to grab a beer and some grub, and watch a game with the amazing staff!

Yelp
Our first time at Del's hideout. A brisket melt with french fries, and it was fantastic. We also shared Modelo especial. The ambience was fun and lively. We're giving girls hideout five stars.

Yelp
I LOVE BBQ. Smoked brisket! Smoked chicken! Smoked turkey! And all the trimmings. Del's Hideout delivers on the smoked meats and tasty sides. Service is friendly and the vibe is casual. Chun P. and I aren't sports fans, but if sports are your thing, then they have a TV with your fave game and name on it! Arcade games are available on the left side of the restaurant and will keep the kids entertained. The brisket, turkey, elote corn, and the potato salad are pure joy! Normally I'm not a potato salad fan, but whatever meaty goodness is in the potato salad here is really fantastic. The desserts are great too - I'm a fan of the bourbon pecan pie. Be sure to ask about their daily bread pudding - you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Honestly I think it is hidden gem I found this place through some mama's recommendations Location: It is hidden in a residential area. Very quite. Ample parking when we arrived Vibe: comfort, cool vibe, old Food: I am vegeterian and their impossible burger was very good. Sweet corn and mac and cheese was tasty Banana pudding was the most delicious and then apple crisp with ice crean Kids: reason I picked it as I wanted kid friendly and it is very kid friendly. They have few arcade games inside. Four stars was due to the fact that their kids area had a lot of broken items. Kids still had fun but I think some needs replacement or fixing. For birthday they were friendly

Yelp
If you haven't been, please visit. Cool spot for families, or to watch a game. Little arcade is cool too. The meats here are the star of the show. Pork belly, pulled pork, brisket.. all super good! Mac and cheese is on another level, don't miss out on that even if you get a little side. House pickles are so good too!
