Google
Jatisha McCoy 💕💕💕 This young lady went beyond and out the way to help me. I came into the bank so weeks ago. But, this is best service I have ever received at the particular location. I truly hope she can help me in the future. She spent over a hour helping me patiently answer question and helping me to understand what’s going on with my account.

Daphne W.

Google
This credit union is the absolute worst. First of all, why do I even have to call the credit union to spend my own money? That makes no sense. Secondly, I did call ahead, gave them all the details, and they still screwed it up. The rep increased my limit, noted my account, and told me I was good to go. When I tried to pay, my card was instantly blocked for “fraud” — no call, no verification, nothing. I called back, the rep admitted she couldn’t help, said she’d transfer me, then disconnected me. I had to call back yet again, only to be told my card had been completely blocked and even removed from the system. I explained I had already called in advance, and only after wasting my time did they reach out to Visa fraud to confirm it wasn’t fraud. Then I had to wait another hour just to get access back. This place is incompetent, careless, and flat-out useless. If you want reliability, go anywhere else.

Jasemine B.

Google
This location just doesn’t compare to the many others I went to, I’m usually in and out when I need notary services. There’s a lot of waiting time no matter what time you come to this location, and the member services coordinator or whatever you refer to her as only took my name I don’t even think she verified if I was a member or not. I’ve been a member for 5 years now. Also, no one looks pleasant or happy to be here. The place is clean and you’ll get what you need just make room for at least and an hour and a half in your day to complete it here.

Amber C.

Google
I would like to give a five star review to Tonya and Zane at the Virginia Ave branch today. The assistance given today was above and beyond and so much appreciated. They really took good care of me.

Jonathan B.

Google
Jatisha went above and beyond for me. Excellent customer service-professional, friendly, competent. She made my experience at this branch well worth the 30 min drive.

Kendell Thrasher, J.

Google
Lunden great at being a customer advocate. Every time I’m in the branch it is a pleasure. No matter where she is working; her work ethic stays consistent.

Nate S.

Google
Usually I could understand a a payment process but they hit me with to $25 dollar overcharges and my account was just in the positives because I didnt Move money over what my acct was just in the positive this morning when I checked and now my acct looking real crazy because of these 2 back to back fees. what would be right of the company is if they took them both off or just give a simple grace period like you might see on the weekend, but no… that’s why Ill rather lose money in crypto market over getting overdraft fees like this

Kiyaka S.

Google
I loved Lunden she was so sweet and informative. You need to have more Customer Service like her in the bank.

Charles M.

Yelp
I used to recommend DCCU to friends but can no longer do so after this latest experience. Last year, they allowed a vendor of mine to reverse several ACH deposits from my business account months after the deposits has cleared, costing me tens of thousands of dollars. They were completely useless in trying to recover the money!! Today I find out that checks I've been sending thru their bill pay feature are immediately withdrawn from my checking account as an ACH transfer even though the check may arrive several days later, if at all, and not actually be cashed nearly a week later. This means they are using my money without permission and their response to my inquiry was that they use a third party and have no control over the situation. Sounds to be just short of a scam to me if not illegal. Beware of this latest scenario!

Yelp
Great, friendly customer service reps but once I had to leave town on business for an extended period and had challenges accessing my account, they were unable to help. What should have been an easy transaction took hours to try to resolve and ended with the account being closed. I even tried to reopen the account or start a new one, which should be an easy fix in the 21st century - Not for Delta. Nice people, too hard to navigate services while out of town. Not for people on the go.

Yelp
I've had the same checking/savings account with Delta community almost 15 years. Never have I ever had to do a dispute. The one time I had to for being charged for a service I never received! I I also never agreed to paying IN FULL for a service A WEEK BEFORE I was scheduled for said service. Even with showing that the merchant changed (edited) their whole policy AFTER I paid deposit, booked, and signed they sided with the deceptive merchant! I'm so upset that my money is not properly protected and I have to fight so hard for what's right & MY MONEY! This is extremely disappointing seeing as though I've always used Delta, but knowing now just how little they value their customers has me in need of a different credit union.

Yelp
I have had a savings account with Delta for about three years. Recently I started receiving insurance solicitations with the Delta name and logo on them. At first it was a nuisance but after the first 5 or 6 mailings (which I feel were designed to look like bank statements) and became a major irritation. I deeply resent becoming a junk mail victim with participation from my bank or credit union. To me, a bank of credit union should be a rock solid place where you and your money are safe. Now I greatly fear that my name is on every junk mail list that exists (mailing list are bought and sold on the open market). I never gave permission for this activity and have already opened and account with a "real financial institution" instead of a junk mail clearing house. I will be moving my account to the new institution

Alicia G.

Yelp
I went in and spoke with one of their female employees today on Dallas Hwy around 10 am. She needs training on how to speak to customers. I have gotten a few loans here before. However, after today, I will now go to a different credit union to get loans when I need one. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism. She spoke down to me, and I could tell she was not listening. She did tell me," I'm looking at the line of customers I have, and I need to go." Ummm, ok. It was a very odd experience.

Ozzy W.

Yelp
Pretty horrible in my opinion. I've banked with them for quite a while and they used to be top-notch but something changed. In particular, I started having ongoing problems with my Amazon orders. No matter what I tried to purchase, Delta rejected the transaction. They claimed I had information from an expired card entered in my Amazon account but I double-checked the info for accuracy (it was correct) and even deleted the card and re-entered everything from scratch but the problem remained. I finally just moved my banking to a different financial institution that seems more Amazon friendly. I appreciate the fact that Delta was cautious but to arbitrarily reject my transactions without consulting me was a little over the top. Too much drama for me.

CClassy T.

Yelp
I wish I could write a good review but it is such an inconvenience when your trying to do a transfer or use something as simple as Zelle. The system is always down or undergoing maintenance every night. Such a major inconvenience for this to be a credit union bank.

Scott B.

Yelp
Overall I like the credit union. The new billpay systemweb display sucks. I am starting to look at other credit unions.

Anja S.

Yelp
Their 24-hour online banking is anything but 24 hours. Almost every night, I'm unable to transfer funds from one DCCU account to another. Then, at 6 am, all pending and other deductions are taken out and if there are insufficient funds, due to being unable to make any transfers at night, they start adding fees for every failed transaction. Now you have to call them to let them know that you weren't able to transfer, and then they will reverse all fees. I was told by a customer service rep, that's why when you call in, they reverse the fees. What kind of backward system is that? Instead of simply being able to transfer money into my account myself, I have to go through this all the time. They were great for auto loans, but that's about it.

Yelp
I visited the DCCU branch in Peachtree City on Wisdom Road a few weeks ago. I needed assistance with a wire transfer & also to upgrade my Visa. The branch operations specialist that assisted me, was Jaylene Ndengey. She was very helpful and knowledgedable. If you ever need help at the DCCU PTC branch....please ask for Jaylene. She's wonderful & very patient.

Tracy L.

Yelp
The recent application process for my second DCCU home loan was as smooth as it was for my first DCCU home loan years ago. Communication from each officer was prompt and the process was quick from start to finish. Thanks to Ashley O., Renae F., and Victoria R. for your thoroughness. And thanks to Brandon C. and associates for your patience and kind assistance during closing.

Donald C.

Yelp
These people in charge of running this place are very crooked when they change policies. In 2018, I opened a savings account so I could get a new car loan. I was told that I have to keep a minimum of $25.00 in the savings account to avoid a service charge. I paid off my car loan in 2019 but left the $25.00 in my savings account so I would remain a member and one day get another car loan. I checked this year and my account had been closed due to inactivity. I talked to upper management about where my money was. I told them I should have stayed under the rules in place at the time I opened my account, or they should have sent me my $25.00. They said they closed my account in 2023. I told them that proves I was under the old rule because I kept $25.00 in that account with no activity since I opened it, and now, in 2023, 5 years later, the money is gone. $25.00 is not much money, but most people like me will be fed up dealing with crooks.

Yelp
I contacted Delta Community Credit Union 6/15/24 regarding fraudulent charge - rep took all necessary details to block card - sending a new card. Contacted Delta Community Credit Union 6/20/24 inquiring about my new card status- rep says it takes 7-10 business days - wasn't aware of that information - rep we can send a new 2 day shipment through FedEx - me okay don't cancel 1st new card send me a new via FedEx - requested a call back from a Supervisor or Manager - rep confirmed request - no call received from leadership. Contacted Delta Community Credit Union 6/22/24 rep says it takes 2-5 business days for a 2 day new card via UPS, not FedEx. Never given any correct information from the previous reps on 6/15/24 and 6/20/24. Is it me thinking they would send me a new card as a "high priority"? I no longer live in Atlanta, GA. Otherwise I would of picked up a new card. I trust Delta Community Credit Union with my funds. And yet I can't trust them to make this issuing a new card a "high priority"? I need to pay bills and feed my family...just to name a few...ijs. Thank you Delta Community Credit Union

Shemetra C.

Yelp
Angelica Lopez for the win. She provided me with exemplary customer service! Every step of the way, she kept her word - routinely providing me with updates and answering my questions.

Chalyndia B.

Yelp
I was trying a new credit union so I chose Delta community credit union all my others direct deposit was deposited except for the one I have with them which is kind of strange and this is like my 2nd time doing business with them and they both failed me

Yelp
Let me begin by saying the local branch is incredible! The first person I met on my very first visit into any Delta Community C U was awesome. She was just what I needed at a very difficult time and when I had lost faith in any/all public institutions. I have never met a more kind, caring and compassionate person at any business. I was immediately won over on the Delta experience. THEN comes the contact with what I'm thinking is maybe a corporate office - not sure. I was at work and could not find the number I had been given to contact my local branch so I went online and got the contact number off the website which I called. Believe me when I tell you common sense is not only NOT COMMON at that location but could not be found if you had a team of bloodhounds. I asked to please be transferred to my local branch and that is where everything collapsed. I was asked for my member # and being new to that institution, I did not have it memorized. The person answering the phone then asked for the phone # associated with my account. I gave it to her. Then, she asked for my DOB. I gave it to her. Then, she asked for the last 4 of my social. I gave it to her! Then, she asked for my employers name. Then, I asked her a question, "Is all this really required in order for you to transfer my call?" She very stoically replied, "I have to verify your account.". Very frustrated by this point, I assured her she already had plenty enough of my personal information to "verify my account". She was adamant that she had to have the name of my employer. OK, I get it. Fraud is rampant but give me a break! All I needed from her was to have my call transferred. I was not trying to withdraw money from my account, take out a home loan or finance a vehicle! And I get it! If that is some sort of stupid rule put in place by someone "at the top" someone needs to replace the people at the top! There is no way the institution is in jeopardy just by transferring a phone call. By far the most ridiculous rules and hoops to jump through just to speak to someone! I can confirm, at whatever location those phone calls go to they care absolutely nothing about providing a good customer experience!

Yelp
It's like pulling teeth when you call customer service, literally have to answer 5 questions to verify that it is actually you that wants to inquire about your own money... all banks are funny... and I'm annoyed that the system keeps getting harder to verify buy yet so easy for scammers... it doesn't make sense. I paid on my credit card several hundred dollars and they told me it will take 5-7 days to clear with capital one.... If I had an emergency and want to use the money I had paid my credit card over a week ago however the payment is still in limbo, which had already been processed through capital one and delta then why should it take 5-7 days to complete....

Yelp
Predatory - avoid this place! When I first started there, I wanted to get a credit card. They let me go through the whole process of opening an account ($500.00 minimum), all the paperwork - and then told me I have to have damn near perfect credit to be approved for a SECURED CARD. I had an item UNDER DISPUTE that they told me to go pay off! I had been through that "perfect credit" merry go round when I was like 20 - many years ago. They are never satisfied because it has nothing to do with your credit score. So that never happened. But I was with another bank that I was tired of dealing with, so I kept the account. It seemed you actually earn interest - or so I thought. Fast forward three years later and here's what I found: They charge for overdraft with NO GRACE PERIOD. They charge $35.00 - no, they do not build up to that, it STARTS at $35.00. They change the name of the fee to "Courtesy Fee". Just yesterday I had an unexpected bill hit my account and overcharge it. I make money daily, so I grinded all day to get my balance back to positive. SAME DAY. I go to put the money in - BAM! $35.00 fee! They play the old Wells Fargo game of manipulating deposits and withdrawals so you can appear to be overdrawn when your not. So say you put in $100.00 and a bill comes in for $105.00. They will move that bill to come out BEFORE your deposit an then hit you with a $35.00 fee because they had to spend resources on paying and extra $5.00. Oh - its so expensive to cover an overdraft... You never know what your balance is, because you see it - and then they move things around to decrease it! Goodbye interest... Your Savings account is tied to your Checking account - like they are connected and they constantly nag you about having a certain amount in your Savings. The way they handle the Checking is as if it inconveniences them for you to actually use it. They identify you by your Savings - even if you have no use for it. They REALLY WANT YOU to put money into their institution so they can have it, and you better not touch it. PARASITES. I'm moving to another account. Most banks don't charge Overdraft fees (or in their case "courtesy fees"). Why stay with some greedy, archaic parasitic institution that hides behind the reputation of a Credit Union? Especially when it takes NOTHING to open an account with a competitor?

Rick T.

Yelp
That doesn't work. I've already reported deficiencies in your website, but no one is available to care ( obviously, as your current response took 3 months). For example, Try looking up CD's as a customer - very difficult - unable to find rates - very bad programming at a time whe CD'S are very popular. And definitely stay away from hit/miss bill pay. LOOK AT YOUR RATINGS!!! 90% TERRIBLE! OUR LONGTIME (but now temporary) DEPENDABLE CU IS FLOUNDERING BIG TIME!! Who is running the show these days? Your apologetic canned responses are worthless.

Yelp
Melody was my teller and it could not have been more obvious that she DID NOT want to be there. Her attitude was horrid. It actually kinda put a damper on my day! Everyone is allowed to not have the best day, it it would be wise if the tellers-- the face of the bank-- to act like they care even in the slightest bit.

William B.

Yelp
Made the mistake of getting and maintaining a credit card here. If you're out of state you're out of luck in paying the credit card before the credit is rolled onto your credit history . It takes a LONG time (5 days) to make a simple payment. Their system and way of doing things is grossly outdated. I'd close this P.O.S. account but it would have a severe impact on my credit score. Stay away. Use a reputable bank , or credit card company if you're in the market for credit cards.

Paul H.

Yelp
Accuracy utilizing complete sentences with needed words is critical to the operations of any business and now here I am working for free for Delta while they have my bank account and their sponsoring Atlantis cop City 400 yards from my former high School where I had to listen to that God damn gunfire 5 days a week for 4 years Does a great job educating the staff to be calm kind and everybody needs home training like that Because serious mistakes are made money and time are lost along with customers No I'm not happy with that at all right now I had a magnificent flight with them I had a magnificent experience at my 62-year airport hartsfield Banking is not the same as their airline division and I don't think I'll ever fly their airline as a result never again they couldn't share with Mexicana I don't see me flying Mexican unless I must nor Air France No I didn't say what the problem was but it's in part a lack of education and public and private schools game boy smartphone culture and all kinds of stupid s***4 I did not curse or raise my voice at any customer service representation during the filming of this Cinema epic however a member of my church was killed on the Delta Atlanta to Orly flight It is getting harder and hard to find quality employees and the three-time small business operator and thank you

Tia R.

Yelp
I am pissed, it's changed! I deposited a payrollcheck and they holding my money and I have deadlines for bills to pay...in 4 yrs I have never had an issue with bad checks or anything even when I was out of work! this bank is definitely not for me and they deserve a fing 0!!!! messing with my livelihood!

Michael L.

Yelp
I have had a DCCU since the 80's and must say, like other reviews, the Delta Community Credit Union has gone downhill. Of the recent few years my debit card has been compromised yearly and consistently. I live in Boston and the only expedite option to get a replacement card is to be at the front door to sign off for the card?? Otherwise regular mail but thats 7-10 days. So consumer unfriendly. To make matters worse, no one could ever give me an answer as to why this happens so frequently. Fraud seems to have increased with my DCCU debit card since they added the chip to the card. Make even less sense. I explained to the rep I have never ever had any of my other debit or credit cards compromised and asked what is different about DCCU fraud prevention? I could never get an answer that wasnt just the standard BS. Frustrating as it's the holiday and my card yet again was compromised a few days ago. 1 card, in my wallet with a PIN # and gets compromised so easily?? I just don't get it. It's the only card, mind you.

Lisa O.

Yelp
The only bank in the world that doesn't have tap to pay! They are so behind it's ridiculous!

S W.

Yelp
I switched to this bank when APCU was having issues. Excellent credit score and payment history for Visa with them. Denied a credit increase for no good reason. Recently paid off a $400k house, and income is so good that I didn't even need to disclose rental income. Sent in all requested paystubs and over 720 credit score guaranteed. I am looking for a different bank to use my money. This is crazy.

Yelp
Edit 10-12-22: I am changing my initial rating of 1 star to 4 stars because I was contacted directly by DCCU COO Matthew Shepherd the same day of the original post, which was also a Federal holiday, & am very pleased that our issue has been completely resolved! Extra credit to Matthew for working on a holiday to correct this issue. I would like to recommend additional training on providing much better customer service & not ghosting your customers for VP Casey Brooks. His abysmal handling of our issue never should have happened! ********************************************************** Sent this email to DCCU COO Matthew Shepherd on 10/5/2022 & still have NO reply or help. Used email address: matthew.shepherd@deltacommunitycu.com: As the COO at DCCU, we are reaching out to you with an urgent need for assistance with our father's DCCU accounts. Our father has been a lifelong member of DCCU. As the email below confirms, both myself & my brother were added as 'Joint Owners' to our father's account, after the required form was completed & returned to DCCU. However, we are still blocked from accessing our father's account online. My brother has made many attempts via phone & email to contact a VP named Casey Brooks (404-677-4516) that he was told has the authority to remove the online account block. Mr. Brooks has not contacted my brother to resolve this issue since 8/16/2022 when neither of us were able to access our father's account online even though the required Joint Ownership form was completed, submitted AND processed successfully. Our father, while now in a Nursing home, still has bills to pay. We have been able to pay these bills via his online DCCU account before the access to his online account was blocked. We are now at a critical point, at 40+ days without access to his online DCCU account, & we need your assistance to have this access restored immediately in order to pay his bills. Our father signed the Joint Owners form to allow our names to be added to his accounts (as evidenced by the email below confirming the same). We do not understand why there is a block for us when we try to access his DCCU account online. Please contact one of us ASAP to resolve this issue. With DCCU as a large financial institution, I would be very surprised to discover that this type of scenario is uncommon and that defined processes are not in place to care for this type of need. We look forward to hearing back from you very soon. Please note we are UNABLE to send in a private response via secured email because there is STILL a block in place preventing us from accessing our father's account online!!

Yelp
While I'm not sure where Consumer Lending is based out of - I'm assuming they are listed out of this branch/address. Delta Community Credit Union was on my radar as they offered better car loan rates than my main credit union - Navy Federal Credit Union. Even though I don't live in the Atlanta area - I was able to gain membership through submitting proof that I worked(no matter how many years ago) at one of the employers they had a relationship with. When it came to applying for my loan with my vehicle - I dealt with T. Bolton. Dealing with her was smooth, easy going and she was extremely personable. Throughout the week or so - she was always available via e-mail and surprisingly she had a direct number in her signature. I honestly expected to reach a queue when I called that number the first time. But by the end of the process - it was like dealing with a good friend and she wasn't robotic or like she was reading from a script. Not to mention she looked out for me and made sure I was aware of any decisions I made might change my rate - since the rate had change since when I originally applied. She definitely set the bar when it comes to my future interactions with Delta Community Credit Union. I'll definitely be running any loans or credit through them before my main credit union at this point - they are extremely competitive.

Jimmy O.

Yelp
Our mortgage process with Delta Community Credit Union was less than stellar. First, they never answered their phones when we called them. Second, they haggled with us over the smallest things. For example, we contractually agreed with our sellers that a small coffee cabinet would remain with the house we were buying. DCCU saw this and insisted that we remove the coffee stand, place a value on it, and settle it outside of the contract. When we refused to do this, they further insisted until our real estate agent informed them that the coffee stand had to remain in the contract as is. Interestingly, they did not insist on the same thing with the refrigerator, which we also had contractually agreed would stay with the house. In addition to this, when we transferred $2,000 from our savings to checking to cover the earnest money check, DCCU wanted a written explanation for why we transferred the money. Keep in mind that we were making a down payment of $285,000 on a $415,000 home, and my wife and I both have excellent credit ratings. DCCU was hardly at risk in our case! Haggling over a coffee stand and interrogating us over a $2,000 transfer from savings to checking was not what we expected from our lender. The biggest problem we had with DCCU is that they were not upfront about their loan process and what they would and would not include in the loan. For instance, we did not know until the day before our closing that DCCU did not absorb the closing costs into our mortgage loan. We have had several mortgages in the past 40 years, and never were we expected to pay the closing costs out of pocket on the day of closing; the closing costs were always absorbed in the loan. We planned to do the same with our DCCU loan. When we found out otherwise from our attorney (not from DCCU) the day before our closing, we called DCCU, but of course, they did not answer their phones. We had to email them asking them to call us back. When they finally called, they told us they could not add the closing costs to the loan and still close the next day as scheduled. In order to close on schedule, WE HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $10,000 IN CLOSING COSTS OUT OF POCKET ON THE DAY OF OUR CLOSING. DCCU's response? "Sorry!" We will never use Delta Community Credit Union again and would never recommend them to anyone! They will tell you they communicate transparently and effectively with you, but in reality, they bombard you with an abundance of information and documentation via email, but never have any face-to-face interactions and few, if any, phone conversations explaining what their documents mean. They take their time in getting information to you but insist that you respond to them and sign all their documents as soon as possible. Very disappointed! Two vice-presidents from Delta Community Credit Union contacted us to address our concerns and rectify the issues raised. As a result, DCCU refinanced our loan without any additional fees charged to us, and absorbed the closing costs into the loan as we had first wished. We appreciate the quick response by the people at DCCU and appreciate them resolving the issues we cited.

Yelp
This place has the worst phone customer support I have ever experienced! They make every process like brain surgery. They completely outsource and the support representatives always pretends like they know what you are talking about and then do something totally different. It's so bad that I'm really really to pull my money and go somewhere else. There has to be better credit unions.

Cutty B.

Yelp
There has to be a lower score than 1 star for reviews. This credit union had us complete a mortgage application online. The next day, a loan specialist contacted us and went over all the information in detail. We submitted everything they asked for over a three-week period, only to be told that our income, which they knew from day one, was insufficient. You know what is insufficient? Delta Community Credit Union, your loan specialist who wasted our time and energy. We turned down several good offers as a result of your negligence and failure to do your job properly.

Scott A.

Yelp
As a bank alternative very good. Avoid their retirement investment department like the plaque. Their mama fees are so much higher than any competitor. And recommending expensive fee based planning services for a client with less than 75k in his 401k - shameful

Kelly R.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of working with Ms. A. Johnson out of the loan department at DCCU. She was fast to respond and answered all of my questions. She made getting a loan for a new vehicle an absolute breeze. I recommend Ms. Johnson to anyone needing a loan!!

Estatealicia A.

Yelp
beware of opening an account at delta community credit union 3 hours on hold 404-715-4725 worst customer service. A2A external transfer is terrible non-stop does not work i plan to move my money after 3 hours of having to call over and over and due to missing money A2A blamed me. finally i was told it is just a grouping issue for March 2023 money was missing because A2A external transfer March 2-23 ended up after August 2023 does not make sense I hate the 404- 715-4725 puts you on digital voice hell for hours. what is the point of A2A manager cannot fix the A2A external transfer problem. what is the point of customer service puts on hold for hours now makes you go drive to a branch.

Yelp
I'm happy to have a local credit union to me and my mortgage percentage rate is much lower!

Yelp
ATMs are always down!! They need to add more to this location or even add the inside atm option!! This is ridiculous!!!

Yelp
This bank has been nothing but issues.... They suck. Save your time and do your business elsewhere

Yelp
Opened an account online and logged in fine. A week goes by and all the sudden I can't access my online account. 30 min call to try to gain access, went through a myriad of verification all for me still not be able to gain access to my account. I was advised to call back. Called back and was advised to go into a branch to access my online account. Ridiculous. Asked to close my account as I just opened it and it was already a hassle. Can't do that either because I can't login into my account and customer service can't help I have to go to the branch. DCCU is behind the times on customer service, and technology. Never had this type of issue with another bank that couldn't be resolved over the phone. Why can't a customer service rep submit an account closure request?

Yelp
Don't Do it! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! This was a good Credit Union a couple of year ago. It's a hot mess now. If you want to spend your good time on the phone with CS. Fixing errors they were supposed to straighten out with your FIRST call. Then this is the Credit Union for you. CS has absolutely no care, or Concern about you as a Customer. There is no concern, heart, or pride given in Customer Service with Delta Credit Union. I wouldn't advise this bank to an enemy. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Yelp
Difficult experience opening up a toddler savings account. First we were under the impression that you could recommend a friend for the $25 dollar bonus, no, it only applies for adult accounts. Second, the documents I had weren't enough to open an account so I tried doing verification online which dozens of banks are doing now. I was told one thing by the member application employee, but told another thing when I called the 800 number. There's a ton of discrepancies that's unsettling, like having a copy of my birth certificate. One says it's okay, the other says that she needs the original. Ugh... The update after opening this account is as follows, I was able to reach someone that was able to help me open this account online. The birth certificate was sufficient for identity verification.

Yelp
Worst bank ever! It's like a bad relationship I continue to give and give and they give me nothing in return. I had to check for over four grand and the funds to cover in my savings account and their policy is that I can only get $225 out. Then they proceed to say they're doing me a courtesy if they give me anymore the only reason why I haven't closed the account is because I have so many pay accounts linked to the bank but I'm going to slowly and gradually disconnect them so I can be done with this bank for good! The branch manager at the Peachtree st location wouldn't even show her face instead she sends her minions to tell me that I can't have my money!

Yelp
I use DCCU because of the rates, where at the end of the day it's about dollars for me. Never the less, incompetent, rude, and unprofessional the experience is always terrible. This whole experience was driven from a new car loan where who called who back entered the equation and then the demeanor of the loan officer was anything but professional and full of contempt. Great rates, you just have deal with the the people that work here.

Yelp
I started with Delta Employees Credit Union 24 years ago, before it changed to "Delta Community Credit Union". Immediately, after the name change, the service changed. I was no longer treated like a loyal customer, but more like an annoyance. This Credit Union went from being the best banking institution I've ever dealt with, to the worst. After 24 years, I will be canceling my account at the end of August. One of the most annoying things is that I cannot contact Delta Community Credit Union to tell them how displeased with their service I am. It's like they don't care.

Yelp
Don't get a car loan with these people! I have been a member for a very long time. Until now I was happy with them. Then I paid off my car loan a few weeks ago. After a week passed by I they sent to congratulation message nor my title. A little concerned I called Customer Support. A young lady said they didn't do that anymore. She did assure me that my Title was mailed on Tuesday, and I should get it in five days. Enthused, I started the process of buying a Tesla wanting to use my car as a trade in. Come the day my Title was due, no Title. I call again to see what was wrong. They tell me at first, I had to wait 30 days for a title. When I said what happened in previous call, I was connected to a Title Specialist who said I have an electric Title and that he would Transmit my Title to the Georgia DOR tomorrow. That was today. My Title still has a Le-Lien on it. Does anyone in Delta tell the truth? Do they want me to join another bank?

Yelp
I have been with DCCU for 20 years, I have a little cash in a Roth account that earns nothing, no interest at all..? Over all my service has been good here in Hapeville. My low star count here today is a result of the complete loss of my on line mortgage history. I like to keep track of my payments towards principal and months ago I found them unavailable online. This history is again missing. For the last several days I have not been able to see any of my mortgage history and no response to email inquiry. I expect notice of such problems to be forthcoming without my inquiry. .. a call to my branch today did garner opoligies. I was told they were working on the problem. As of this edit, today 9/26 I still have no mortgage history available on line...

Yelp
Banking with Delta Community is great. Banking at this location is horrible and it's unfortunate that this is the nearest location for some because they will definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth for wasting your time. I have had to wait hours just to get a card made and one thing I love about this bank is that you can get your cards printed in the office. the hours are incorrectly listed online which will have you waste more time and honestly I just want people to experience banking at any other location.

Yelp
So many negative reviews on Yelp and BBB.... and those are the only ones I've looked at so far. Lots of complaints of poor customer service. I guess that's a major component of a bank. Seems like an operational failure. I guess you could blame it on a lot of things, but ultimately, it falls on the COO's shoulder. At the end of the day, he is the one to blame. I've had first hand knowledge of DCCU and their incompetent COO - why he even threatened me. I wonder how many more negative reviews it will take before they fire him? Don't know... just seems like a rudderless ship, a lot of unhappy customers and no one seems to care... Just to be clear- I am a (dissatisfied) customer of DCCU, I do not work for them nor am I affiliated with them in any way. I have had a bad experience dealing with them, and I have a 1st amendment right to free speech and to express my opinion without fear of threat or harm. I am only expressing an opinion and stating facts, that there exist multiple negative reviews on Yelp, as well as many negative reports on BBB from other customers of theirs who have also had bad experience dealing with this organization.

Yelp
Poor Customer Service - Refuse my request for an appointment with a notary for "signing a will". Then has to schedule with my bank for this service. Completing a Mortgage REFI took far longer than advertised. The "Contact Us" button on their website is not working. The rates they pay may be competitive, but nothing more than that.

Yelp
Terrible service. The amount of fees they consistently charge is ridiculous. I moved out of the state and the service has been atrocious. I have been a member for 15 years and I am now in the process of switching banks because of how awful Delta Community Credit Union has been.
