DelToro Steak Truck

First timer here at “DelToro Steak Truck” let me start by saying this is a amazing place to sit down and get a variety of different healthy meals along with delicious drinks you cannot go wrong with. My woman and I ordered the steak and fries, Fresca, strawberry lemonade which is my woman’s favorite!! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our order. The steak was combo with the wedge like fries were delicious! If you are in the area this place is a must try. Get out of your normal routine, go get some delicious food from a small business!

Tbh for the price this is super worth. It's way more than I was expecting. Rib eye ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - this was good, specifically the sear?!? - Don't expect something gourmet, but expect a solid steak - didn't specify doneness but they did medium which I appreciated for this - I usually can't eat the fat on steak but this one melted - I'd order it again if I was in the mood for it - broccolini with it was super juicy and crisp - the mashed potatoes hit the spot, they were so buttery Del torro salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - the vinaigrette was good - well done steak though - still juicy, not chewy

This was my first time eating here. I came around late afternoon/early evening, on Friday. Everything was nicely cooked and seasoned. Unfortunately, the ribeye was out of stock and I came here to try that. I got the New York instead, and it was good, although not as tender as I would have liked. I don’t usually get New York cuts, so I’m not sure if that’s just how that cut is. It was still enjoyable and nicely seared, with a pink center. My order was about $20 for a New York pan, side of chimichurri sauce, baby broccolini (they were out of asparagus too), and mashed potatoes. I also got a bottle of water for a couple bucks more. I liked the flavor of everything.

Good value and decent fundamentals. But not quite there. They didn't ask how I wanted the steak cooked and delivered grey all the way through. I think they need to turn up the skillet and default to medium rare. Potatoes were solid, but WAY too much smoked paprika. Like an acrid amount. Only tasty when slathering on the super sweet catsup. I say halve the paprika so you can taste the potato and enjoy them with the steak and spicy mayo without adding the tomato syrup.

Probably the best food cart in Portland. Consistently high-end restaurant quality, so I keep coming back! Plus, the owner is incredibly kind and always makes our experience wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough! The ribeye is to die for.

A super flavorful ribeye steak with chimichurri! Soild sides: the broccolini was a perfect tender-crisp; mash potatoes just like mom's. Truly a fantastic value for a solid ribeye supper. No way that you'll find a better value without driving to Montana and I doubt you'll find any broccolini there!

This is going to be one of my new go to’s. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. I’ll be back to make my way thru the menu, for sure.

Basically just incredible steak. Tacos were messy, but they are clearly aware since they offered them with napkins so basically a moot point. I'm going to take anyone here whi likes good steak because I'm not sure of anywhere better. In fact I might go back right now I'm getting hungry again

We drove by a few times and finally tried it last year. It was surprisingly good. Ribeye steak is delicious. Ribeye tacos are an absolute must order each time. Mushrooms, potatoes, strawberry lemonade are our sides and beverage of choice each time. Pesto chicken sandwich is also good but we always default to the steak options first. It was so good we brought my family there the following week. We come whenever we can. Each time the food truck village seems quite sad. We ordered from the Indian and Thai place as well. Those are pretty good so I'll need to give them a review. Huge plus: we asked them to cook chicken with no sauce or seasoning so our dogs could have some while we ate. They had no issues or confusion about that order at all and only charged us $5.00.

Yum!! First of all, steak... from a food truck? Hmm. How good could it possibly be? We got there around 6, I think. And we wanted to try something with the chimichurri. But they were sold out of the steak they combine with it and refused to use a different steak on a sandwich with the chimichurri. Bummer. We ended up ordered a plate of tacos to share since the other dishes were more than we wanted to spend for a shareable snack. We asked for chimichurri on the side, just to try it. The steak tacos were packed with meat. They did not skimp, so it was definitely a good deal for the price. The sauce and spices were excellent. Steak is hot or miss with me, and unfortunately, it's usually a miss. But this place was super juicy and flavorful. The sauce it came with was great too. We didn't need the chimichurri, but it was nice to have taste so we know what to expect for next time. We'll definitely be back. They made steak from a food cart less weird. Super good!

Great selection of delicious steak faires tucked in French quarter of Multnomah Village. And by far the strawberry lemonade on this side of the Mississippi. !

Stumbled on this place at the French Quarter food cart pod opposite Johns Marketplace on Multnomah Blvd. Instead of the usual gyro, or burger, I splurged and got a NY steak at Del Toro for $19. OMG. With broccolini and mushrooms, cooked perfectly with butter finish. Bang for the buck off the charts - flavor town extravaganza. Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

This is a great food truck offering fine dining steak dinners and sandwiches at half the price of a traditional steakhouse restaurant. They some times sell out before closing, so it's a good to arrive early. Next time you're in Multnomah Village, give them a try.

Great steak sandwich! Not dry at all. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, toppings. Steak cooked perfectly. Great bread. I was very pleased with this sandwich.

This is a cart? You'd never know it! I've been to this place in my neighborhood several times, and everything I've ever had here is great -- from amazing steak to the perfectly cooked sides, especially the Brussels sprouts. The cooks are friendly and the service is quick. There are a lot of great carts in this French Quarter food court and around the rest of Multnomah as well, but deltoro definitely stands out as one of the most reliably smile-inspiring craving-satisfiers in the neighborhood, and serves one of the best steaks I've ever had anywhere. Yours is not to reason why, but trust me-- about steak I would not lie!

I would give Deltoro a 10 star review if I could! I got the NY pan and I ordered it with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. I won't lie, brussel sprouts have never been my go to veggie but now they might be. These were amazing. I'll definitely go back and order more. The steak was delectable and the mashed potatoes were perfectly buttered. I can't wait to to show all of my friends and family this hidden gem.

I was craving a steak, so I walked down to the food park to give this place a try after reading all the great reviews. I had decided what I wanted by the time I got to the window and placed my order, the ribeye plate with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. 45 minutes later, my number came up. I took my plate to the table and cut into the steak, right down the middle. Then took it back. On no planet in this solar system was that a medium rare steak. I't surely passed through that state on its way to well done. The guy said that he was very sorry, and would be happy to make me another. I told him that I didn't have another 45 minutes to invest in this meal, and that I would eat it as is unless, of course he wanted to refund the cost of my meal. He declined. So, I sat down to eat the food on my plate. Not only was the steak way overdone, but the brussel sprouts were crispy on the outside and raw on the inside. These were NOT world class sprouts. The mashed potatoes were tolerable. Overdone or not, the steak was tasty, due in large part to the butter and garlic in which it was cooked. The first half was juicy, but soon it dried up and the remaining portion reminded me of shoe leather. OK, then I thought, this was certainly not the best steak I've ever had (as some reviews suggest), so I asked myself was this the best $28 steak I've ever had. I came back with a resounding "No Way! Not even close." I don't know why this place got so many outstanding reviews - unless this was just a bad night. I typically don't write reviews, but someone has to balance the glowing reports that delToro has received until now. I'll wait a month or so and give it one more try - as is my policy - in case it was just a bad night. We'll see.

This maybe the best steak ive ever had in my life! I am in disbelief! Wow! Brussel sprouts were amazing too!

Caesar salad the best I've ever had in this town! fresh and tasty !! It is a very nice place and they give excellent service . Also, their most popular dish is New Your steak. you have to try it!

I ate at Deltoro today and was so beside myself with how fantastic the chicken panini was that I had to call and make it known! I'm thrilled to find fresh original flavor nearby in my neighborhood!

The sides were fantastic (mashed potatoes, asparagus, Brussels) but the steak was okay. It wasn't the worst steak I've had but I can definitely make better at home. Everything was seasoned great, even the steak.

Finally tried this place at Multnomah food carts at the urging of my wife. I was admittedly a little intimidated by the menu. Steak from a food truck? At her suggestion, I got the steak chimichurri panini and I can honestly say it was one of the best sandwiches I can remember eating in years. My wife got the chicken and liked hers a lot as well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

had the ribeye and it was very good! cooked perfectly, and the best steak I've had in a while. the price point can't be beat either. Looking forward to my next visit!

I had the grilled NY steak with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a couple of small slices of bread. The sprouts were excellent, cooked just right with a little char from the grill. The mashed potatoes were quite average, kind of like you'd get almost anywhere. Not particularly creamy or any hint of butter. The bread was a very average sourdough. Nothing special at all. The steak was good, but no better than I could make myself, and quite fatty. I trim off the fatty parts of things like steak and I probably removed about 1/3 of the steak as fat. The outside had no particular char, for a grilled steak, but the inside was done to a tee (medium) and the steak was tender with reasonable flavor. For me, however, it was too fatty to want to try again.

Great steaks at a great price! I recommend their savory and creamy mashed potatoes with your steaks. You can't go wrong with the panini as a great lunch option.
