A Brazilian Pizzeria Brings A Parade of Pies to the Design District | Eater Dallas

"At the original Southlake location, Delucca circulates 20 different types of thin-crust pies to diners’ tables in a churrascaria-style parade, including a "Portuguese Pizza" with eggs, prosciutto cotto, and olives; a pie smothered in fontina cheese and sautéed shrimp; and even chicken tikka masala and Mexican elotes pizzas. The pizza parade begins after the eatery serves caipirinha cocktails, charcuterie and antipasto platters featuring meats, greens, and roasted vegetables, plus house-made lobster bisque; diners are invited to eat as many slices as they can for a fixed price of under $20, which also includes five dessert pizzas with options slathered in Nutella, white chocolate, or brie and apricots." - Alaena Hostetter

Google
What an incredible experience, my waiter Ben was awesome and then I was blown away by the quality of the food. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The old fashion was to die for as well and don't sleep on the lobster bisque. I will definitely be back and bring my wife so she can experience it as well. Also not like some of the steak house's, the wait staff did pay attention to my card being on green or red which was a nice change of pace for a gaucho style restaurant.

Google
I really enjoyed this unique pizza experience. This restaurant is a pizza version of a Brazilian steak house where they bring to your table all you can eat specialty pizzas. I also heard the term "adult cici's" from a few people - I'd say that true for the variety aspect, but the quality is better. I tried and ranked all of the pizzas that came around while we were there. Here is my analysis from most to least favorite. I would eat all of them again, though maybe not all in one sitting again. 1. Hot sopressata 2. Margherita 3. Mexican Elote 4. Turkish Lamb 5. Garlic Picanha - Brazilian steak 6. Chicken tikka masala 7. Vodka sauce + mushroom 8. Prosciutto and pear 9. Bbq Sausage 10. Spinach artichoke (got a cold piece or this one might be higher) 11. Butternut squash goat cheese Desert 1. Nutella 2. Guava Marmalade 3. Banana flambe (similarly, got a cold piece or this one could have been higher) Dulce de leche - never came

We celebrated 2 birthdays without announcing it to anyone. My husband & my niece had a birthday dinner. The salad was interesting! It was lemony & kinda bitter, but good. The water was refreshing & always topped off. The wait staff was great. We had a good waiter, Matt. The pizza was interesting with a lot of different flavors! The meatballs was my absolute favorite! They tried the lobster bisque & liked it. The Mexican corn pizza was my favorite pizza, there were many others that were good. The lemonade was refreshing. The desert pizza was a big hit for my birthday crew, especially the chocolate one. I didn't try any desert pizza. I was full after 5 slices, my birthday crew was there on a mission. The restaurant was cold temperature, great place to try new food.

Stopped by for dinner for the first time Saturday night and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was lively the decor was lovely and the service was quick and on point! Management was amazing they both checked in on us often. The food and drinks were delicious l! We loved the bartender he was very attentive. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this establishment to all my friends and family!

Google
DeLucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine in Southlake is a must-visit. The unique rodizio-style dining is a game-changer, offering a continuous parade of incredible, wood-fired pizzas with fresh, flavorful toppings. We loved the specialty pizzas. The cocktail I had was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. With a great salad and attentive service, it's a truly unique and delicious experience. Nikki behind the bar and Brody were amazing and made the experience.

Google
We save this place for special occasions and it always provides! The atmosphere is so special from the warm welcome, the walk to the table, dim lighting, wood, glass, excellent service, extraordinary food and fine music. We love the variety of pizzas that cannot compare to anyone. We came across this place by ‘accident’ and are so grateful we did. Don’t make the accident and not go - go! My favorite was the salmon pizza!

Google
I went for the first time today with a small group of 5. We had reservations and were accommodated easily. My group was rather impressed by the continuous meal flow. One such member exclaimed “This is the best pizza I’ve had in my whole life!” Now that’s a big deal, she’s achieved a lifetime of memories of takeout pizza at 4 years old. Another exclaimed that the chocolate coconut pizza was “the best thing in the world!” I tried it and wow was she right! Overall: great AYCE pizza! Go! Take your kids!

Ben and Tanner were our servers for a party of 12, and were so attentive and friendly! Their attention to our party made our experience great! The food was delicious and was very diverse in the flavors they served! I chatted with the GM Chloe to share our experience with the team! This was my first time at this place and it will become a regular place to my list to visit and bring guests to! The atmosphere was filled with holiday joy! Smiles and great attitude by all staff from hosts, to servers, to cooks and bartenders. This place is great for a date night, regular family dinner, or celebrations!

Yelp
I had a wonderful time at Delucca's and enjoyed their concept of bringing various pizzas for you try. We had a great time chatting and trying the creative pizza choices available. I tried so many flavors of pizza that I was stuffed by the end. The staff were friendly and made the environment welcoming. The price is worth it for the quantity and quality of the food. They start you off with appetizers like a light arugula salad, wagyu meatballs and lobster bisque which were delicious. Some of my favorite pizzas were the margherita, vodka sauce and mushroom, chicken tikka masala, Dulce de leche and Nutella pizzas. I appreciate that they have mocktails, my mango mojito mocktail was refreshing with my pizza.

Yelp
Scam!!! I had some good and bad experiences. Now just learned they have different course size offerings but they NEVER disclose it or offer a choice - they just bill you the highest dollar ones. Never coming back.

Yelp
We came here on 12.15.24 to celebrate my big 52. We sat at the bar and had a fancy drink before getting our reserved table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This was our first time here, and our server explained how this experience would unfold. The establishment provides a Brazilian gaucho-type experience with pizzas being brought out instead of meats. The meal started with wagyu meatballs and a salad, followed by the vast assortment of pizzas. The pizzas come out intermittently so it is advisable to get what you want when you can. There were some long gaps of time where no pizzas were on the floor. All in all, we enjoyed it. The pizza wasn't bad. There were some offerings we liked more than others, and a couple that were just meh. We could see how this type of setting would be great for a double date or a group. We would come back, but not run back. Still, this was a lot of fun and something new to try.
google avatar

Melyn G.

Yelp
Wow the endless pizza flavors and sweet slices make this place so fun and most definitely filling! The waitstaff is super friendly. If you're looking for a whole pizza, you can get that here as well for dine in or carry out!

Yelp
We had a group of 15+ and Chloe made sure we were taken care of!!! The entire team was extremely attentive to our group and made sure we had everything we needed including roses for each lady in our group and provided non-alcoholic mocktails for everyone! I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant on a Friday night. It was busy but the servers were very attentive. This place has a lot of unique flavors to try! We enjoyed most of them! We don't plan to come here too often because we are way too much!
google avatar

Da'Kimbria B.

Yelp
Pizza is great!!! Very inclusive for those with diet restrictions! Bartender could be better with making drinks BUT nothing too much to complain about.
google avatar

Tanya R.

Yelp
No matter how you slice it, this was a disappointing meal. We ordered the Turkish lamb, hot sopressata with honey, and the Romeo & Juliet. The Turkish lamb was over salted, the sopressata had an artifical aftertaste, and the Romeo and Juliet was the worst dessert pizza we've ever had. We also had to wait beyond our scheduled pickup time. This would have been forgivable for great food, but not for what we received.
google avatar

Kamron H.

Yelp
This place is really good and worth the 25 bucks for all you can eat pizza and dessert pizza. Service here is great too. We came here at 8pm and they still served us plenty of rounds before closing at 9pm. The Cabernet pairs well with the food here too. Ambiance here is semi casual. I showed up in sweats and people were chill about it
google avatar

Marie N.

Yelp
Delucca is a great place for friends and family. They offer a Brazilian style service where waiters walk around and offer you a slice of different pizzas for a fixed price. All the pizzas were amazing and fresh and crispy. We also really enjoyed all the appetizers and drinks. This location compared to the others in the metroplex had a bit slower service. The pizzas were not coming out as fast and our check took a while too. We went on a non-crowded day, so hopefully this doesn't happen when it's actually busy. Overall we had a good time despite this. And will probably visit another location in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
It was good different flavors to try. I never thought Nutella pizza would be so good. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised - just never thought of Nutella on pizza.

Yelp
I have had the best time every single time I've been here. Now there is a new manager Chloe and she is absolutely amazing!! They made our date night and friends night the best!! Service, food, ambiance, and quality is always spot on!! Nikki our server was incredible!!! We had a blast thank you ladies!!!!

Rita C.

Yelp
We tried Deluccas, Southlake for the first time last night. It was a great experience. I love traditional pizza so I was a bit hesitant going into this experience. My husband and I both enjoyed all the different, delicious pizzas and the salad was one of my favorite things. "The service was awesome thanks to Rae our waitress." I also observed the manager, Chloe pitching in cutting pizzas when the pizza servers were busy out serving pizza. To me that's a sign of good leadership. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice. We definitely will go back for more pizza and great service!
google avatar

Kala B.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! The steak and garlic pizza and Nutella pizza were my favorite! Service was excellent and Chloe was so attentive and so sweet!
google avatar

Mary Claire M.

Yelp
When I was a boy this pizza establishment went by a different name. They claim that name is dead but I will not cow to their demands and let my speech be controlled. Cici is brave, Cici is strong, Cici will recognize some point that this is only a phase. When I drove up I recognized her shape. Inside I could hear the sounds of games and children's laughter, but was left devastated by the post industrial shell of her dining space. There was a faint smell of sadness, but the pizza ok.
google avatar

Kaelyn A.

Yelp
This was a fun place. Lots of options for both main course and dessert. We've been back a few times with office parties or just date nights. Everyone we've taken had always enjoyed it.
google avatar

Hannah W.

Yelp
10/10 service and food. My favorite is the elote and Nutella pizza. There is endless amount of choices and I leave satisfied yet stuffed everytime. Great wine, margs, and service. Perfect for a girls night or birthday celebration.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I have been wanting to dine here and finally got the chance too. All you can eat pizza? Count me in! We came in right at 5pm and the restaurant was pretty dead for a weekday dinner time. They have happy hour which looked good but we came for the all your can eat experience. The appetizers were a salad, meatballs and a soup. All were great and tasty. We enjoyed all of our pizzas and all the dessert pizzas as well. For $24 per person for all you can eat, we thought this was a great bang for your buck! We enjoyed our time dining here and want to come back for happy hour next time!
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
$26 a person and we were listening to Flo Rida music?!?!? Couldn't understand anything the waiters said. After 4 to 5 small slices they stopped offering us pizza. To add, there's nothing special about it. They all start to taste the same as there are no unique sauces. It's cheese bread with toppings. Requested a dessert pizza and took well over 30 minutes. Completely overrated, overpriced. Will not be back.
google avatar

Veronica S.

Yelp
First, people working there were nice. the pizza simply Fair at best and never got to try some of the ones I really wanted. When there are big parties , the pizza get swiped out and u either wait a bit or never get to eat they pizza you want. Check yr bill, I was almost charge for 7 persons when we were only 4. Again we will not go back. Pizza was not great.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was amazing. I didn't even know this existed! I always enjoy a Brazilian steakhouse and now with a pizza version I am sold! We came here one evening and the place was pretty busy. We were still promptly greeted and seated. Our server promptly took our drink orders and brought out the appetizers. The lobster bisque and arugula salad were delicious. I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. Shortly into our appetizers the pizza started coming around. They had traditional pizza slices (Margherita, pepperoni, cheese), speciality pizza slices (lamb, chicken tikka masala, honey soppressata), and Brazilian pizza slices (garlic piranha, chicken catupiry). Each slice was pretty good. Some were better than others but it was nice to be able to try didn't types of pizza. When it comes to dessert they have a few different pizza options Nutella, dulce de leche, banana, and even guava.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch with my girls at the Southlake location! Service was great and there were so many new pizza options! Manager Chloe was so gracious and kind as well. Will be back!
google avatar

Jim W.

Yelp
What a great concept! We had wanted to try Delucca Gaucho and finally got the chance to visit the Southlake location. The concept is the same as a Brazilian steakhouse, only instead of various meats, it's a wild assortment of pizzas. Not your standard pizza either, the options were many. We tried mushroom (my favorite), elite, buffalo chicken Thai chicken, carve asada, spinach and bacon (delish) and others I can't recall. Don't pass on the way meatballs, fantastic. It was a fun putting. The layout is nice, great vibe.Good food and our server was exceptional. It's a must try, for the food and the fun of it.

Mary S.

Yelp
The food is delicious EVERY time. The servers are always kind and quick to answer any requests. We love coming for girls nights because the ambiance is 10/10 and the vibes are perfect!

Eva A.

Yelp
Staff give a family friendly feel to the restaurant Food was amazing!! My favorite was definitely the hot honey pizza
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
Good for a one and done but don't see coming back. The pizza is good but wouldn't stretch to say fantastic. They have a few tricked up ones that looked good on paper but once in your mouth...meh. We had a good waiter but the pizzas we wanted took forever to make their way to our table. Must add, the acoustics are not good and very difficult to carry a conversation at the table.
google avatar

Sharon D.

Yelp
The food was great! They had very unique options - I would say that my favorites were the margherita, elote, 4 cheese truffle and nutella! The meatballs were also surprisingly good! It was nice to have the meatballs and lobster bisque hold us over until the pizzas were ready. My only complaint is that we were seated near a really large party. Every time the pizzas came out, they went to that party first and of course they always ran out before even getting to us. We dined with 6 people and when they would finally make it to our table on the 2nd or 3rd try, they would only have a few slices left. There was never a moment where everyone at our table had a slice to enjoy on their plate. There was a lot of down time between us getting slices. I would just recommend that if a larger party is present, maybe switch up which way the servers rotate around the dining room each time a pizza comes out.
google avatar

Kelicia C.

Yelp
I love this place. The concept is so cool to me and while it may not be new, I can appreciate it wholeheartedly. They have a fantastic happy hour with drinks that get you right!! Get the raspberry lemon drop, trust me. You pay $25 for a 2 appetizers and a cup of lobster bisque, then the main attraction are the pizza people walking around offering you everything from pepperoni to elote to lamb and even dessert pizzas- my favorite is the Nutella OMG *insert drooling emoji here* anytime anyone ask me if I would like to have dinner with them. This is the place that I recommend. It's dinner service only, and a reservation is recommended if you don't want to wait. The bar is small but it's open seating. Just don't take my seat :)
google avatar

Joseph W.

Yelp
Love the different types of pizzas! Service is quick, think Brazilian Steakhouse but pizza! One of our favorite spots to go! Just make sure you come hungry!!
google avatar

Hector F.

Yelp
I love this spot! Service is amazing! The server we got was amazing! Went for my son's birthday dinner! We love the service! The mushroom pizza and the elote pizza were my favorite! And all the pizza desserts are so good! What would be cool is every month they have a different type of pizza for the month different flavor! Some of the pizzas we had weren't as good! What I love about the spot is, if you love a pizza you can ask for it so they can go and give you more. I highly recommend the spot.

Rachel G.

Yelp
Matt was an awesome server! The new manager has done a great job with a little rearranging of the layout. Pizza was what we wanted, hot and fast! So yummy!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
An all you can eat pizza but you never have to leave your seat The staff is non stop helping you explaining each different pizza 16 varieties 4-5 desert style Banana Guanaba Nutella The regular pizzas Range from Cheese Helotes Lamb
google avatar

Shao-Lon Y.

Yelp
I've been to many Brazilian steakhouses but this is the first time I've been to a Brazilian steakhouse-style pizzeria, and it's even better than a regular Brazilian steakhouse! The pizzas are fresh, delicious, and there's so many different toppings. The service is really fast and they're constantly rotating the different flavors so you can try everything. I really liked the crust of the pizza. The bottom was nice and crispy and the crust was super thin so it didn't feel like you were filling up on bread. The toppings were varied and every slice felt unique. My favorite toppings were the chicken masala and the spicy salami with honey. The dessert pizzas here are also amazing, they might even be better than the regular pizzas. The dulce de leche and the guava pizzas were extremely good and original. Another great thing is that the slices are on the smaller side so you can try everything without feeling too bloated afterwards.
google avatar

Jennifer U.

Yelp
1st time here with a bunch of old coworkers and I will say YUMMM! The lobster bisque is soooo delicious and the arugula salad is perfect with both the soup and the pizzas. They come around with their pizzas in a very timely manner, they have a full bar, and check constantly to see what you need The pizzas come in savory and sweet. I tried the following: Cheese and truffle oil (my favorite savory) Chicken tikka Buffalo chicken Mushroom Nutella Dulce de leche (my favorite sweet, I ate 3 slices) Banana flambay

Yvonne M.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed happy hour here today! Chloe the manager was so sweet and we loved Parker our waiter. Food was stellar! We can't wait to come back!

Kat C.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and starters. My favorite pizza is the Garlic Picanha. The Raspberry Lemon Drop is the best cocktail!

Cassie B.

Yelp
Food, service, VIBES. Matt was our server, so attentive and conversational in the best way. You have to get the full course experiences because the arugula salad is divine and you'll want to order more for sure. The manager Chloe is AWESOME. Always love a DeLucca experience!
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
Curiosity drove me here. Pizza served Brazilian steakhouse style? Absolutely yes. We made reservations for an early dinner and were seated right by another party of 4 in a nearly empty restaurant. The kitchen was immediately on our other side with all the servers stationed there hanging around. At first I thought it was weird but then I realized the pizzas were leaving the kitchen straight out of the ovens and we were the first table they came to every time. No further complaints! The server for our table was absolutely wonderful and on top of everything. We were served arugula salad, meatballs, and lobster bisque with our meal. I found the pizza servers very curt and not enthusiastic. Nevertheless, they came around with all kinds of pizzas. I do appreciate that they slice the pizzas into smaller pieces, however I still got full quickly. Honestly, the only pizzas that stood out were the hot sopressata and the Nutella pizzas. The rest were good but would I order a whole pie? Probably not, though lots of takeout orders that night showed other people would disagree. It was fun to experience once for me.

Jessica C.

Yelp
The crust is crispy but I recommend eating the crust last so you can keep track of how many pieces you ate! Toppings are fresh and loaded, plus the cheese is melty and gooey. The crew's chill and super fast too, so you're not waiting forever. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or the whole pie, this spot always comes through. 10/10, would definitely come back!
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
Think Brazilian steakhouse style-but make it PIZZA! They sit you down and start you with lobster bisque, arugula salad and meatballs. Then you have a card that is either red or green depending on if you want to be brought pizza or not. It is ALLLLL delicious and hot and they have the perfect amount to choose from. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but they get packed super quick!
google avatar

Daniel T.

Yelp
Here are my thoughts about this place: great ambience, good food, poor service. This place has a great potential but it needs to hire more people and/or train their staff better.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
This was an awesome experience! I recommend arriving well before they close. We arrived about an hour before closing and weren't able to try all of the styles of pizza. However the pies we did try were surprisingly delicious! The menu given is not for dinner options but rather a drink menu. The only food option is the pizza rodizio which includes a shot of lobster bisque for each person, Kobe meatballs and arugula for the table. When you're done with dinner, there are 4 types of dessert pizza when you're ready to satisfy the sweet tooth.
google avatar

Lyndsey M.

Yelp
Great pizza. However, overall very disappointing experience. Host stand could use some work. Stood at the host stand for over 10 minutes when we arrived without even being acknowledged. They definitely make sure they make a profit. They stopped bringing us pizza after we each had about 4-5 small slices. Tried to get their attention and kept getting ignored. $26 a person for 5 small slices of pizza is totally not worth it. Super disappointed after RAVING about this place based on normally getting it DoorDashed. Save your time and money and carry out or door dash it instead.
google avatar

Allison B.

Yelp
PIZZA & MIMOSAS. Are you sold yet? My brother came a few months back and told me how good it was. I finally tried it with my best friend and we liked it so much that I immediately brought my husband within a few weeks of my first visit. The concept is like Texas de Brazil. You have a server assigned to your table and they will handle your drinks/refills and also your starter dishes. These consist of lobster bisque, and a small salad with meatballs on the side. Once you're ready to start eating pizza, you flip the card on the table. Servers will begin to bring trays with various kinds of pizza. When your plate is stacked high or you need break to breathe, you flip the card back over. My only complaint is that in the few times I've been, the card is completely ignored and they still bring trays and ask if you want pizza anyway even if it's set to no. I think that they have a great variety and there's at least one pizza to fit everyone's taste. They even bring around various dessert pizzas at the end of your meal. The ambiance is nice and classy, the dining room is clean, and the staff is nice enough. They also have a good drink menu and if you are of age and attend brunch on a Sunday, you get one free mimosa! This is truly one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW area and I recommend it to everyone. If you loved CiCi's as a kid, you'll love DeLuccas as an adult.
google avatar

Kalynne M.

Yelp
I wish I lived closer, so I could come here more regularly! But my waistline is probably better for it... everything is fantastic from the appetizers to the deserts. They have a great happy hour too! We had a group of about 15 in town for our wedding, everyone loved it including the kiddo who is a picky eater. I can't recommend just one pizza, but that's the beauty of this place... you get to try everything! The bartenders are awesome too, they are happy to make mocktail for the kids so they can get a bubble drink! The lobster bisque is one of my favorite things the serve... don't miss out on them!

Yelp
Overall: 9/10 Service: 10/10 very friendly and attentive staff Ambience: 10/10 great vibe, pretty decor, great music and clean dining area. Food: 9/10 Lots of option, delicious, specially for an all you can eat resto. (great happy hour deal too)

Yelp
I don't understand the big deal about this place. I just went today 4/25/24 for a birthday dinner. The reservation was fast to be seated the staff was very nice. However, there are some things that just wasn't all that great. For one the pizza is not that good. Most of them were salty and the cheese was salty. Bbq was good and the regular pepperoni one. I understand why they are small which is fine they are just not good. The arugula salad was plain and sad. Meatballs were ok I liked those the most. Dessert pizza were ok nothing to loose your mind over. Nutella goes good on anything TBH. They won't go around offering continuously , you have to wait a long time for a pizza. So you're just waiting and one staff member a guy maybe a manager cause he had a different shirt was ugly to me. At the end I didn't like him very much he wasn't nice. Was it worth it? NO will I go back ? NO.
