20 Best Tapas Bars in Barcelona, From Old-School Dives to the Avant Garde | Condé Nast Traveler

"At heart a natural wine bar set on a busy pedestrianized street in Poble Sec, it offers an almost limitless array of vintages (from pet-nat and orange to biodynamic and vegan wines) and pairs them with carefully sourced, local sharing dishes; standouts include Peking duck croquettes and grilled octopus, along with whatever is best in season." - Isabelle Kliger

The 14 Best Wine Bars In Barcelona - Barcelona - The Infatuation

"This Poble-Sec wine bar feels like a place two sommeliers opened to hang out with their friends on their days off. You might stop by for a quick drink on their patio, and before you realize it, it’s midnight and you’re not sure how many hours have passed since you moseyed in. And best of all, you won’t care. There’s a wide range of natural wines from small organic producers, along with shared plates like Peking duck croquetas and grilled leeks with a zingy citrus vinaigrette, plus a string of excellent daily specials." - isabelle kliger

We had lunch there on a weekday, and the welcome felt like coming back to a familiar neighborhood place, warm, relaxed, and genuine. Living abroad, I instantly felt as if I were back with old friends, surrounded by that effortless Spanish warmth. Everything flowed perfectly through a wonderful lunch full of flavor and pleasure. Each dish was a journey through regional tastes, and every member of the team was kind and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The wine list is outstanding, full of personality and discoveries. The cava we tried introduced us to a new grape variety from the winery, a real delight. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We’ll definitely come back!

Lovely little restaurant with great food. On carrer blai there are many tourist traps, but this is definitely not one of them. Great food, fish is very fresh and cooked perfectly, large selection of wine, friendly homey service. It’s a little crowded inside, but it’s part of the experience.

Google
A real find of a tapas bar with a creative menu, awesome wine list and terrific service. Seafood is super fresh and always a few amazing seasonal specials. Don’t miss the duck croquettes and tortilla. But everything is delicious. Prices are very fair for the superb quality. English well covered and service super friendly. It’s tiny so make a booking first. We have been several times in the past year and it’s always excellent

WOW! From start to finish one of my favorite meals in Barcelona. I sat at the bar and basically just let the servers guide my experience. The one thing that I loved that they did was allowed me to get half plates of things on the menu (only offered if you are a party of 1 or 2 ). However, this was awesome because it allowed me to try so many things - the dishes were priced at 2/3 their original price. The octopus was probably my favorite dish, the shrimp was quite good as well. The presentation itself was exquisite. The servers were extremely nice taking time to talk to me and tell me about how they would go about this meal. Overall fantastic, it also felt hyper local in there (yes there were tourists, but it felt like you need to be in the "know). I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. All of this and I forgot to mention the natural wines they carried! They had a rotating list, but the one that blew my socks off was an orange wine (I wish I took a photo of it!)

Fantastic service and food! We particularly enjoyed the Iberian ham sandwich and duck croquettes. We ordered the lighter red wine that was offered and it was so delicious! The waiters were quick and friendly, they gave explanations for the dishes we had questions about. The cheese board was extremely strong cheeses which we loved. The chocolate ganache dessert was incredible! I think the menu is quite creative but it’s quite small, I think a couple more options could be nice. My only disappointment was the prawns, these seemed quite expensive for how many we got.

Literally the best restaurant I've tried in entire Spain. Everything was sooo good! And the service was excellent. Will definitely come back! Gracias Sergi!

Google
The food was incredible. The service was very attentive and friendly. I appreciated they let us taste the house wine before committing to a full glass and we were able to choose a different kind. Highly recommend the tuna tartare and beef carpaccio - divine flavours and super fresh. This place is a little pricey but quite worth it.
