Denny's

Chicken fried steak was nice and hot. Eggs and hash browns were cold. Completely dead in there and couldn’t get a refill on coffee. That was frustrating. Atmosphere was weird; they were playing Christmas music over the built in stereo speakers but someone was blasting some rap from their phone or something from the kitchen. Very busy with clashing musical composites. Coffee wasn’t very hot either. Primo locational proximity to a couple hotels.

We had a very pleasant experience at this Denny’s! There was no wait when we arrived, and the staff was extremely friendly—seating us right away and kindly letting us know what they needed to do. Our server was wonderful: prompt, courteous, and attentive without being overbearing. The booths were very comfortable, despite a bit of visible wear and tear. We appreciated that the seating didn’t sink in too much and still felt cozy. The overall atmosphere was clean, with tidy tables, well-maintained carpet, and ambient lighting that wasn’t overly bright. Classic booth seating was available alongside standard tables, which gave it a warm, familiar diner feel. We ordered the half order of zesty nachos, and it came out hot, fresh, and delicious. There was a great chip-to-topping ratio, and the portion size was just right for 2–3 people to share as a starter. It actually made me curious about how big the full order must be! For our main dish, we had a steak entrée that came with garlic bread, broccoli, and red potato chunks. Everything was very soft, tender, and easy to chew—something I really appreciated. I ordered my steak medium rare, and while the photo on the menu made it appear a bit more red or raw than expected, it was actually juicy and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised! The food overall was fresh, came out promptly, and was cooked to our expectations. The only downside to our visit was the humidity inside—it made the space feel a bit stuffy, and my husband was even sweating at one point. However, that aside, we truly enjoyed our meal and the friendly service. We will definitely be returning. It’s a great family-friendly spot and, in our opinion, a better experience than the IHOPs we’ve been to recently!

Dennys needs to change their syrup bottles. These come out so slow and are always nasty looking! Other than that the experience is great! Staff is nice and food is hot when served! Menu has great variety and good choices.

I've been there in the past.The food was good , but today I order a 55 + omelet meal. And I did not have anything look like a omelet. My eggs was okay but it was no green peppers or any other, two slices of bacon in between the egg with a lot of onions. I'm like smfh.

We were greeted promptly upon arriving. We were seated very quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the French Toast Slam and it came out quickly, hot, and tasty. I waitress was very attentive and brought the check as we were finishing up Our meal. The bathroom was clean and the seating area was clean.

Our drinks were always refilled without asking, our food came out just the way we ordered it, and she checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warm attitude and genuine care made our meal so much more enjoyable. Thank you for the excellent service—you made our visit exceptional!

I had a fantastic dinner meal at this Denny’s location here in Hanover, MD today with my family. I grew up going to Denny’s as a treat and today did not disappoint. The wait staff Tayona was friendly and accommodating and the food came hot and fresh. The manager Eunice was cordial and made it a point to stop by our table to check on us and we had no complaints. It’s always awesome to be able to order dinner and breakfast items in the same meal and everything was great. As a bonus, the kids got to eat for free. I’ve eaten at other Denny’s locations before and sometimes they can be “hit or miss” but this particular location always knocks it out of the park. Keep up the good work guys!

Now that I no longer live in the area, I would like to say that this place was one of my comfort zones when I used to live around there. The food is satisfyingly standard and decent overall for a 24/7 chain, as I would get either pancakes, omelet, or a burger. The foods I would say are the top of my list are the Steak Omelet, Ultimate Omelet, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, 9-Grain Pancakes, Breakfast Burger, and Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger. Service was hit or miss, because usually, you would either get served by someone who had a heart for the job, or someone who was grouchy and begging for their shift to be over. But, thankfully, I had absolutely no bad blood with any server enough to start anything. Atmosphere wise, the place can switch to nearly empty to fully crowded depending on what day and time you come here. Just don't come here on a late Friday or a Saturday if you prefer a quiet environment. Usually, I came here either in the middle of the night around 1 to 4am or shortly after 12pm during the week. I wish I had more to say, but that's all I pretty much I have at the moment. There's a lot of places and things I'll miss in the area, and this specific Denny's is one of them. Ok so let's see where did I leave off from 3 weeks ago as my work & other things were hectic. I had finished D representing 2022, so now onto 2023 for the letter D is Denny's in Hanover, which was a date. I had been to this Denny's a few times since living in Anne Arundel County the past 5 years. Noteworthy times here: -November 2020: My parents visited around Thanksgiving, and we went here. -A couple of times in 2021-2023, my friend visited town, and he is particular with his breakfast as he is lactose intolerant. One time I said IHOP and named other possibility, and he was dead set on Denny's as he knew that would work. I have a picture of my Denny's food from his visit in July 2023, but I remembered it was the Denny's in Laurel as that is my closest location (Hanover is 2nd closest). I picked him up at BWI the night before, he crashed at my place for 1 night before his conference/hotel he was staying at in downtown Baltimore. The next morning I said we could go to the Laurel Denny's & drop you off at Laurel MARC station right by Denny's. After we ate at Denny's, I realized they only go during rush hour during the week, and it was late morning. So, I had to schlep him up to BWI MARC. If I had known that, I would've just gone to the Hanover location. 3rd date in May 2023: I had met her at games group, and she lived relatively close to this Denny's. We enjoyed good service & food. I think I got an omelette that night. And we enjoyed playing a couple of games in the booth. Every time I've been to this Denny's, it was on point with good service & food. I think their pancakes are superior to IHOP, which the acronym is Pancake, so that's saying something.

Food is always great . My order came out hot and fresh made just the way I asked . Service was great no complaints as our server Christie is always Fabulous. The restaurant over all is clean music playing is always a hit .

I ordered the Everyday Grand Slam which included eggs, French toast, and sausages. It was good, but It would have been nice if the portion size was a little bit more. The service was good. I was seated right way. There was no wait. It looked nice inside.

The food came in hot and fresh. The way I asked for correctly. My service was very nice and friendly had my food correct. The restaurant over all was clean. Yes i will come here

I came for pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese & onions with a side of turkey bacon, coffee and a glass of water. *** After 47min:28sec*** Seems abysmal and disingenuous at best! My female server noticed this and when I asked @ 29min-" Oh yeah-your order went to someone else " TWICE !!- I counted...I complained/ was not even believed by the female cashier- $ 3.59 for a cup of coffee...CRACKER BARREL IS SO MUCH BETTER... Geez Louise - Do Better Dennys, Do Better...

Chipotle used to be my favorite place to eat but not anymore, because their portion of food becomes to small. So if you are hungry somewhere else or you will stay hungry the rest of the day. And I not fat if you think I eat to much.

The service was ABSOLUTELY AWEFUL. I came here at 330 am there was only one other man in the entire restaurant. The waitress gave the WORST service for an empty restaurant I have ever seen (like only a 50 cent tip bad) it took her 15 minutes just to get our drink order. The food was amazing. However when the food came out she said she was going to get us napkins and just never came back. I sat with an empty drink for almlst 10 minutes actually had to get up and ASK for a refill. Same with my Togo box and check. I had to physically leave my seat and ask for it after waiting another 15 mins after my food was finished. Time to pay I got up to the counter "I am closing out the day so waiting on the system" WHY would you you close out the day when it's obvious that we are about to pay. Long story shot it took us an hour and 45 mins from the time we pulled up to the tome we left at 330am being the only people in the restaurant I feel this is absolutely ridiculous. Wait staff expect tips like no your tip reflects your service. DO BETTER.

Both of us had the Berry Waffle Slam and coffees. Decaf was cold, tried twice. Server was nice, but the food delivery was amazingly slow. There were 5 couples on our side of the restaurant and we all waited a really long time. Food was still served cold to lukewarm at best. Bacon and sausage links were not greasy at least. Sausage links are so tiny they look smaller than vienna sausages from the can. Floors and tables are clean. Dining area looks decent. You teally need to serve food hot to the table.

Great food and selection. Classic diner experience. Can't go wrong with Denny's and I will definitely be back.

Not the greatest meal today at Dennys. We stop hear sometimes when traveling through BWI. Today we were at Arundel Mills and stopped for breakfast. My meal was disappointing with burned toast and cold eggs. I didn't say anything because I needed to get home and didn't want to wait any longer. Ambiance....its Dennys; it has a little, we need to clean better vibe. $40 for breakfast for 2 people. Not a deal. I gave them an extra star as our server, Sonya, was attentive.

Amber was sooo kind and helpful. Great service!! We were waiting for a flight to land. Soo we thought we'd grab a quick bite. Thank you amber and Dennys

This time was not so good thought I was coming for kids eat free on Tuesday but was an hour early ... food taste like the grease was old ... a waste of $28

Went old school the other day with breakfast at Dennys. All I can say is the place looks old on the inside. They need new carpet & seats. The breakfast wasn't all bad, but not like I remember it. The pumpkin pancakes were good. The coffee is really expensive for some reason $3.39 a cup. The service, let's say I only saw Christine twice not counting the time she took my money at the cash register. The average slam is now $10+

Horrible experience. Attempted to order coffee and orange juice but it was no orange juice. I was told the truck delivery wasn't complete so I couldn't get it until then. Okay fine. No silverware or napkins were left at the table. After asking the waitress told me they were all dirty. Smh. After a while our food came out. My steak was well done when I requested medium cook. My eggs were undercooked. Finally got my utensils and they were plastic. How do you eat a well done steak with plastic utensils. Be for real. I told the waiter I need an actual knife. She said okay I'll wash one for you. What?! Okay. I will never come back to this location!

Stayed next door and walked over for dinner. Place was empty but clean. Service was excellent. I ordered sirloin and eggs, was one of the best meals I have ever had, everything was cooked perfect and awsome flavor. I would of put that steak up against any steak chain. Still thinking about it days later as I write this.

The environment at Denny's always is inviting and the perfect place for a relaxed meal. Christie was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Great service and a great vibe!

The restaurant is always super clean and well-maintained, which makes a big difference. Eunice was our server and she was fantastic--friendly, fast, and really on top of everything. Great service and atmosphere all around!

Everything was good. The services was top notch and the food was delicious.I definitely recommend this location to my friends and family.

Ms. Rachel is ALWAYS welcoming, present, prompt, willing to assist. She knows the Denny's business all around. Because of her I am a repeat guest, and also have observed other repeat guests who look forward to seeing her. Ms. Rachel THANK YOU for making Denny's Linthicum a warm, caring, home environment.

Great time and what a saving grace in a dark and stormy evening. Wasted and wayward wretches may find respite from the dark and the storms. Shawn was an amazing server and a friendly face needed, along with copious bacon and cured meats. All in all a winning experience.

So we decided to have breakfast here. And I must say it was a great experience. The food was delicious I had so much I wasn't able to even touch my chicken tenders or fries. I was only able to eat my onion rings and Mac and cheese. If we come back to Maryland I'll be sure we make a stop here. I didn't get the waitress name, but she did a great job. Kudos to her!!

My wife and went in for breakfast. Place was not busy at all. Two waitresses on duty. They did everything they could to ignore us. No greeting, no menu's. They were just in their own little world. Long story short, we waited about 35 minutes with no response from them,so we left. I'll never go back there again.

It was ok just that they got my order wrong I ordered a sunny side up and they gave me scrambled they also didn't give me my toast I also ordered potato never came but the waiter was nice and I think she was trying bc there was only 1 person and tons of costumers

Cane here for a late night dinner and got some food. It was ok. It's like the the worse brother to ihop. The burgers were dry. Only thing that kinda redeems it is that the service was good. The ambiance feel like a subpar diner. Overall it was ok, don't think I would reccomend

I am a regular Denny's customer in 3 locations. This is the ONLY bad experience I have ever had. "Cray" the manager was awful when I complained about a missing item (BOGO Grand Slam offer), which I noticed after I left today. On the phone with me, Cray blamed the online telephone service (which I had to use to get the BOGO offer since the mobile order system wasn't taking the offer code), he was not helpful, and he simply said it was not his fault, basically saying too bad. Cray's communications and customer service were poor and he hung up on me. What a horrible representative he is for Denny's, especially as a manager. Such a shame because my family loves Denny's food and this is the closest to my house.

I came to Denny's with a large group late and night, and we were some of the only people on the restaurant. The servers were so kind and accommodating, even with our large group! I think it was a bit difficult to manage though, because they mixed up our orders quite a bit and forgot items. The wait was also incredibly long to get our food, but that was to be expected with a group our size (12 people). The food itself was okay. I got the chicken strips with fries and garlic bread. The chicken strips were what you would expect, but the garlic bread looked really sad and tasted very dry. I didn't have very high expectations coming to dennys, but the servers were very kind which made up for the mid tier food and long wait!

I have made the mistake of going to this Dennys on Melon road because it's close to where I live, but the manager Rachel never disappoints and provides horrible service and a nasty attitude. She often refused to take phone orders at night and told me that even though the restaurant was COMPLETY empty, she couldn't seat us for at least 25 minutes because the cook just got an order for 25 sandwiches. She was also very nasty. I don't care how hungry I am never going to this Dennys again. They need to get rid of her!!

The table wasn't clean, they gave me an extremely dirty cup for my water. The waitress had very poor service, she wasn't the least bit nice. I had to ask for things more than one time. I asked her for an omelette and instead of the sides I just wanted sausage gravy. She told me she would have to charge me extra for it. I couldn't even eat it. First of all, it wasn't even sausage gravy. It was white gravy that they just added sausage too and the biscuits were so disgusting that I couldn't even eat them. My omelette, the Swiss cheese tasted like it went bad so I could barely eat any of my omelette. At that point, I just asked for a manager because I could barely eat any of my food, the manager never came. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Denny's and I will never go back to the Denny's ever again in life.

Really appreciated the work of the manager ( Karrie), server (Christie),and cook ( Rachel). They did everything to welcome me, serve hot coffee, and my simple breakfast ( poached eggs that many other places don't cook well). I appreciated the clean restaurant and the smiles. Andrew, another worker, is a very friendly and courteous part of staff.

Our waitress Mrs. Eunice H was amazing. She took great care of us!!! She's an absolute gem! We'll be returning just because of her. Thank you so much for taking care of us tonight and thank you for your service to our country.

Ordered food online and it showed the tracking of my order. It said the order would be done at 8:20. The tracker said it was done at 8:25. I was at the restaurant to pickup my food and was told it wasn't quite ready. After 15 more minutes I asked about my food and was told again 15 more minutes again. The lady at the counter was really disrespectful to the other employees and customers. I asked for a refund and couldn't get one. Finally got my food almost an hour later than what I was supposed to. Other people were waiting just as long and they couldn't get a refund either. I really like Dennys food but this is the 3rd time we had an issue but this time was my worst experience at a restaurant. I will not give them anymore business. If you want Dennys you should go to a different one.

Terrible service. Our waitress took our order & then went on break. We had to flag down the hostess and tell her 2 tables had been served who were seated after us & it had been 40 minutes since our orders were taken. Our waitress finally appeared from the back, went to the heat lamp where my skillet was languishing & had to have them rush my husband's order which had been served to another table. By the time we got our meals, my potatoes were soggy & the rest overcooked. My husband's sausages were cold, and our waitress never once checked on us after serving us. We told the hostess & she was going to relate our experience to the manager.

This restaurant is really good. I liked the prices and I LOVED the customer service experience that Jamera provided me, she was so kind and helpful, she understood when I told her what my budget was, and provided me information about the menu with kindness and empathy. Thank you Jamera. I also loved the food it was a very good portion. I loved the ambience, good music and I saw the supervisor making sure everything was ok and talking with customers asking if they were ok.

Terrible food not happy at all work service after ordering thru Uber eats they didn't answer the phone so I could get a refund or another order

We had Christie this morning as our breakfast server. She was awesome. Our food was served Fresh and hot, and our beverages were kept topped off. Most importantly, she was taking care of her others customers in the same way. This was a very pleasant dining experience. Sondra

The most outstanding and delicious breakfast I have ever had at a Denny's. This Denny's location is elevating breakfast/brunch and it is definitely worth a try. I also have to shout out the exceptional service provided Christie! Christie was simply amazing because she was extremely attentive and made the dining experience a once in a million.

Eunice was absolutely amazing. Denny's make sure you take good care of her! Send her on a nice vacation and give her a good raise too!

Possibly good food but they are short staff I had to wait 50 minutes for my food, Don't think will come back, since don't have 2 full hours to eat.

I had a horrible experience in the restaurant first off utensils were dirty. They were horrible looking so we asked the waitress to bring another set of utensils. They were still dirty. she brought the food out to the table. My pancakes were uncooked. I don't think I'll ever come back to Denny's restaurant again. I've never had this experience before at Denny's. I gave Denny's a one star.

I ordered from The Meltdown, which is a sandwich section that Denny's offer now, and the food I got was unbelievable. To test the place out I ordered a grilled cheese, being it the most basic thing to make. However, they just handed me what was almost just bread and literally cold cheese -- with extremely dull fries. When ordering a grilled cheese I've never received cold, straight out the fridge cheese from anywhere. It's a grilled cheese. I just don't know how anyone could mess that up. I literally made a Yelp just to review this because it blew my mind.

Clare was awesome! Plus fast friendly and a great price! In fact, everyone was providing great service. The 15% discount being an AARP MEMBER is a blessing

I had just came home with my family and I'm highly allergic to pork and me and my family ordered 2 cheese burgers with no bacon and I also put it in the comments no bacon highly allergic to pork my son is not doin well at the moment will be going. To Take him to the doctors and I've also tried to contact the store and was not handled at all lady ans the phone and Said there was nothing she could do this is so unprofessional and rude to the customer I can't believe how I've been handled I'm so upset to how this was not taken care of and calling back to the store to be told nothing can be done

Online order for pick up at 1:30am. No cook. No manager. No refund. Would give it zero if I could. Felt sorry for the server who had to break the news to everyone. The manager should tip him out of his own pocket for being the only one who showed up.
