Nice pizza place in the neighborhood. Decided for some pizza here since we heard about this place. The Cheese Pizza was delicious and just the right size for a group of 4 and get their cheese breadsticks with pizza sauce as well. They were also delicious! Awesome kind staff and nice music in the background as well. Worth a stop for pizza in the neighborhood!

The "Denver Pizza Company" on Jersey St is new to the block, only about 2 weeks in, but has a lot to offer. My first trip was exceedingly exceptionally. I ordered a slice of "The Magnificent 7" it comes with salami, pepperoni, sausage, basil, mushrooms, bacon & sun dried tomatoes. I enjoyed every aspect of this new location. I have very mixed feelings about DPC. When it's good, it's really good. Probably the best pizza in East Denver. But, you only seem to get their best quality about half of the time. Oftentimes, you'll get a pizza that's very dried out, or has the toppings distributed very unevenly. This picture kind of exemplifies my experiences with DPC. I took this picture immediately after opening the pizza just delivered to me, without touching the pizza at all. Look - it tasted fine, good in fact, but this exemplifies the carelessness that often seems to hold back an otherwise great pizza joint. Most of the time, the staff is great, and even very willing to own up to their mistakes. It's just frustrating to be a regular customer of theirs when this kind of thing happens.

Our quest to find delicious pizza that you NEED over and over again continues… DPC was okay, only slightly better than the average Denver pizza places we’ve tried. It arrived cold via our DoorDash delivery so that probably didn’t help, but after reheating each slice we found it just fine. But we probably wouldn’t order from here again. It wasn’t good enough to have a second time. It was pretty greasy. But I’m not unhappy we tried it! I think there are too many healthy people in Denver who don’t seem to understand what really delicious pizza looks and tastes like. Where are the Chicagoland pizza maker transplants? Can you hear me?

I’ve spent so much money here and I will never return. When you order online, there is the option on every pizza for “light, standard, or heavy” 5280 spices - no option for “none” so I put in the notes of my order that I didn’t want any 5280 spices, because I don’t like their weird mix of spices on standard cheese pizzas. There is also a check box for “mt Shavano spices” and “house spices” - I left both blank / unchecked, so you would think my pizza wouldn’t have spices on it. I got my cheese pizza and it’s covered in spices, called when I got home to get a refund because this pizza is inedible to me, and the “manager” only wanted to argue with me about “their house spices being on everything” EVEN THOUGH I told them I left the “house spices” check box unchecked. I’ve been going here for years, I don’t like spices loaded on regular cheese pizzas, didn’t appreciate being argued with over the phone when I DIDN’T CHECK “HOUSE SPICES” If it’s “on everything” why is it an option to check or uncheck when you order pizza.

Pizza is really good. 7.1 They do put Italian seasoning on top of the cheese. You can taste it and smell it. The undercarriage is crispy but not burnt. Had a slight flop. Crust was light. Would order again.

We just ordered cheese pizza for the first time from here (carry out) and it was AMAZING! It was so good we actually called them to say what a great job they did. Will totally go back.

My neighborhood pizza joint. Not quite New York style but still a thin-enough pie. Flavorful crust/sauce with their own special seasoning, I can't quite put my finger on the taste. Nothing super special but it hits the spot when craving pizza. Very fast and friendly service. Expect about $20-25 per pie.

I was next door and saw the pizza sign. I decided it was time for lunch. I walked in to order a cheese pizza and was met by two really friendly employees. He informed me that the restaurant didn't open for another thirty minutes but he would gladly made me a pie. I hadn't noticed they were not open yet and felt kind of bad I was intruding. He reassured me that he was happy to since he already had his drawer anyway. Ten minutes later, he brought my pizza to my car. He simply couldn't have been nicer. The pizza itself was well made and very yummy. I really enjoyed my pizza and the personable and friendly service. This place is first rate.

Ordered pizza and cinnamon sticks. The pizza was overdone and the cinnamon sticks had been made with salt instead of sugar. Called the restaurant and was told there was nothing they could do. Will not be back.

Ordered through Uber Eats. After a very long wait, the store canceled my order. They should not have accepted my order in the first place if they couldn't fulfill it. It was the first time I ever ordered here and it will definitely be the last!!

Glad to have found Denver Pizza Company as I think this city has good fancy pizza but lacks in the casual, Americana style pizza department. This place is no frills and their pizza is both adult and kid approved in our house. Bonus points for having good ranch as well. Looks like negative reviews are based around experiences with delivery apps but we do to-go orders and pick it up ourselves.

I have used this business for takeout in a few occasions. The pizza is nothing special but it seems like the pizza is way overpriced for the actual quality of the pizza. I'll be searching the Yelp recommendations for a better option.

Absolutely delicious!! Been wanting to try for awhile and finally got around to it. We ordered The Cheeseman and East Colfax. Been were fabulous. I really liked the crust. Service was great. The guys were friendly and nice. We did a pick up and will definitely try even more of their delicious pizzas.

Listen I'm from New York so pizza is something I judge quickly. The pizza here is delicious! I ordered it and it came nice and fresh. So much flavor and the perfect crust.

Good pizza spot! We always order pick up (seems like the bad reviews are grubhub and door dash issues). The 5280 deep dish pizza is so good. It's more like big fluffy bread with crispy cheese edges than Chicago deep dish. The bacon jalepeno breadsticks are ridiculous. Salads are fresh and yummy.

Ordered doordash at 9:10 pm. They confitmed the order then 45 min later I get a call from someone from DD saying they cancelled it. They close at 10... Maybe don't confirm the order then bail when your staff is too lazy to handle it an hr prior to closing. Of course I can't review them on DD because they bailed on the order. 1st and last time DPC...

This place is alright. I had no issue with customer service - the girls were nice - unlike some previous reviews. However, in such a competitive category, this pizza didn't wow me. There was nothing memorable about it and really not much that makes me want to come back. I know, for me personally, a good pizza has me thinking about it for a long time.

Really good pizza!! And they deliver! Yes! This area (Lowry in particular) was in need of a delivery pizza place that was good and not overpriced or pretentious. This place is it! First time customers just this evening and they didn't disappoint. First, they said online it would take an hour and it didn't take but half that time. We ordered just an extra large build your own cheese, and a medium spinach and black olive. (I know, we need more fancy palates around here) Both were excellent. The sauce and crust were done just right. The delivery person was sweet and friendly. We will have to try the specialty pizzas and apps next time. Denver Pizza Co definitely got it right!! We'll be repeat customers for sure.

Grub hub totally dropped the ball, left drinks and dessert, initial call failed to get anywhere with team or grub hub. Then Sista called, a regular, and fan favorite, and the team reacted and helped keep a loyal fan. Thank you for stepping up and people CALL DIRECT! Avoid Grub Hub! They were less than helpful.

Local restaurant chain with well priced pizza, salads, and chicken wings. I like the mayfair because it's named after where I live, and the cease-and-desist barbecue pizza. I love the bone in chicken wings best with the Shavo sauce, and I my favorite salad is the spinach salad. They employ young local workers, they name their pizzas with the recognition of Denver neighborhoods. It's a win-win of good food and supporting Denver local business. Also appreciate the coupons if they open the post on their website and in local flyers making already good deal even better.

I had heard good things about this place from the neighborhood but am actually relatively disappointed. I ordered a 1/2 Boulder and 1/2 Cheesman. The crust/dough is underwhelming. I can appreciate that the ingredients are fresh but it just was overall kind of meh. It also arrived to my house lukewarm and I'm ~ 2-3 minutes down the street. Unfortunately, this place isn't for me.

Awesome pizza new to the neighborhood. I had the 5280. Marinara sauce has a fresh tast of tomato. Crust was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend it. Friendly staff. Awesome location. They deliver!

Delicious pizzas, appetizers and sweet treats. The original crust is amazing and they do a great proportion of sauce (original marinara is dee-lish), cheese and toppings. If you order more than 4 toppings there is an unlimited toppings price (extra cheeses like ricotta are extra). The jalapeno cheese bread is awesome with big chunks of bacon on it. Dont miss the cannolis. They have a homemade filling in a delicious chocolate covered shell. DPC offers a rewards program and has coupons on their menus so make sure to get in on those. A slice above the rest.

This was a large and basically $30, which is fine if it was really good. Tastes like an oven pizza I can get from Walmart.

We've tried this place a couple more times since my initial review. It's still not very good. The toppings, sauce, and cheese are barely there. I'm beginning to think that Denver has never had good pizza.

5-24-2020 Placed an online order for delivery through their website at 6:15pm, said about a 40 minute wait. I decided to call at the hour and a half mark to get an eta on the delivery and the girl said the order hasn't even been made and she could give 50%off and it would be another 30 minutes... not happy but ok. It's been another hour since and I have given up. I do not recommend this place and won't attempt to order from here again

Always made fresh to order, including slices. So expat least a 10 minute wait. It's definitely not a place that has hours old pizza out just waiting to serve you up a slice. I have it four stars, because as much as I've eaten this place for lunch, I wish they had a more simple cheaper priced lunch deal. For instance 2 slices and a Pepsi, for $6.50 or so..

I am so fucking pissed! I placed an order 35 minutes ago that said it would be ready in 30 minutes. We walk in to pick it up and we were told it would be ANOTHER HOUR! I got a refund a shrug from the staff like they didn't even care! I will share this experience with everyone I know! Never again!

I order for the 1st time, disappointe. pizza arrived on time but cold, it's 10 minutes from my house. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and some of the slices had no pepperoni on it. last time buying from here.

Who cheers when a new pizzeria opens in the neighborhood? I do! Doubleplusgood if it's a keeper. Twice, after wearing out our toddler at Mayfair Park, we've called ahead to pick up a DPC pie on the short trip home. We're a split household on pizza in many ways--she likes thin crust, minimal cheese, and no toppings. I appreciate this, but prefer more oomph. However, DPC is cool with cheese on one side, toppings on the other--much appreciated. Our first pie was within a week of their opening, a deep dish. Last night, we went for the standard thin crust. I'll give a thumbs-up to the spicy sauce, quality toppings, and generous cheese. While I'm ambivalent about the crust, she really digs both versions. Surprisingly, I prefer the thin crust, which folds up just right without being flimsy. The deep dish was ok, but it fell short of my hopes. I give props to the staff for having our pizza ready ahead of schedule both times. You can't overestimate good service, even with takeout! My only complaint is that they should drop the prices a few bucks. An 18" thin crust with three toppings exceeds $26 after tax and one hungry dude could take it himself. Overall, DPC scores 3.5 stars in my book. It's better than "A-ok."

Love this pizza! Salads are excellent as well. In 10 orders I have had 1 delivery be late which I appreciate. We will continue to order here for a long time. Defiantly our favorite pie in Denver.

Denver Pizza Company (more specifically, Ally, who took the order and delivered) has some growing and improving to do. Vegetable pizza and buffalo wing taste and quality were very good. Service, however, leaves something to be desired. Ally didn't know about the coupon code I was providing. Then she said the order doesn't qualify because it didn't reach a certain amount. I told her it did. I asked her to read the order back to me. She entered six piece wings instead of eight. So we fixed that and the coupon worked. I ended the call with "thank you" and she replied, "mmhmm." Nice. Took seven minutes on the phone for what should have been a quick order, after correcting my address and entire order, which were both entered incorrectly. When she arrived (after passing me, waving at me, and needlessly driving around the block TWICE), I still tipped her- to which she did not say "thank you." She also appeared dazed and confused. ***Final issue is there were MUSHROOMS on the pizza when I said "no mushrooms" and she repeated it back to me. Wow. Feedback should be used to grow, which I hope management does with this. This location is ideal and the food was good, but it shouldn't be a headache just to order pizza.

UPDATE 4/2/2020 - came here again and got the garlic Parmesan bread sticks and an BYO pizza with red sauce, pineapple, black olives, pepperoncinis, and mushroom. EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST TIME. Love that this is local & so good. We will definitely keep them at the top of our list :)

I looooove this location. Carolina was so kind and helpful, and of course the pizza was delicious. I will be coming back for sure.

So good, I live in the neighborhood on Glencoe and grabbing a slice before/after My wife and I take our little to the park across the street has truly become one of my favorite things to do. The staff is friendly, the pies are fantastic. And don't even think about forgetting to grab a few Little Man pints to go. So good! Five stars all day!

Ordered a pizza online, said it would take 45 min. An hour later I called to see how much longer it would take. They told me the delivery driver literally hasn't even showed up to work yet and wouldn't be for another 10 minutes. I said it would have been nice to have been told that and they just said sorry. No discount or anything offered for the inconvenience. I will never be ordering from here again

Pretty subpar calzones. Dough is a little soggy, ordered one of the specialty pizzas as a calzone and added a couple extra veggies. Only the extra veggies I asked for were put into the calzone not the rest of the veggies that were supposed to be in the "Boulder pie" makes for a pretty empty and sad calzone definitely missed the mark

Favorite pizza place since I moved here from the east coast 4 months ago! Everyone is extremely nice and the pizza is always amazing. Definitely recommend. *updated review* So it's been 3 months since my original review above, i've noticed in the past month that the quality has been going down a good bit. It's either the pizza isn't cooked enough, it's cooked too much, has too much red sauce etc etc. It's been one thing after the other over the past few weeks. Every time i've gone recently it has been disappointing but I'm going to try and give you guys another chance or two since you were my favorite pizza place in Denver before. Went in in tonight and had yet another bad experience. I keep seeing new people working in there every time I go in. Waited 40 minutes for my pizza tonight only for it to be barely cooked and half covered in cheese and marinara. Been the norm recently. Can't even hold it without the whole thing flopping into a soggy inedible piece of pizza.

I would give it negative if I could. I ordered 1/2 cheese and 1/2 Native (see pic). They delivered this (see pic). I figured no big deal - something went wrong on their side. I called to explain and they told me they couldn't do anything because someone messed up entering. I explained I entered it and had an email confirming what I ordered and the Manager said there was nothing they could do. After some back and forth, I'm starving so I decided - I'll stop arguing and so I tell him 'I'm just hungry. I'll pay for it but can you send us another pizza" to which he replied it's going to be over an hour as there are lots of orders in front of me. Nope. 2nd time and last time I order from there. Don't do it. Lots of pizza places around and lots of better customer service.

My new favorite place. I think it is best local pizza that i found so far! Tried buffalo chicken wings cheese pizza and bacon sausage pineapple pizza it was really good! Great pizza good service and staff was really nice and friendly highly recommended...

Their pizza would be so good if they just put some pizza sauce on it. We ordered the deep dish and it was just cheese and topping.

I ordered their cheese bread and it was hot and delicious. It definitely came early than expected delivery. I can't wait to try the pizza next.

This place was delicious. The deep dish pizza was just delightful and crispy. The sauce was spot on and the ingredients were very fresh tasting.The salad was great with quality ingredients and a great dressing. The cookie dough ice cream was, I believe home made, and so good. I was very impressed!

The food at this location is not as good as the pizza downtown. Specifically I would not order from here again after tonight. I placed an order through DoorDash and they brought me some incorrect items. When I called DPC they didn't offer any option for me to actually get the food I ordered and said that it had to be resolved through DoorDash. If that's how they operate, that's fine but I won't ever order from DPC again.

Ordered a pizza at 4:19 pm for delivery at 7 pm. I started calling at 7:20 to see where it might be -- repeatedly placed on hold for two eight-minute period plus the third call. Pizza finally arrived at 7:41. Not sure why I ordered three hours in advance to have a 42-minute delivery delay and to be continually placed on hold. Delivery guy apologized: "We've been slammed." Yeah. That's why I placed my order at 4:19 for a 7:00-pm delivery.

I work at a brewery on Colfax and a Denver Pizza Company rep brought two pizzas for the staff to try. The pizza was very good and offered 20% to any customers who ordered from the brewery as well as 20% off to employees. I thought highly enough of the pizza to recommend it, so I today I decided to try a take and bake from the new location and noticed a few operational issues: 1) The manager who took my order did not offer the 20% discount after mentioning I work at a brewery, and discussing someone brought in pizza to promote the business. I did not mention the discount on purpose to see if he was aware of it - clearly he did know not, which points to a lack of business communication in the business. 2) I ordered a 5280 and asked for pineapple to be added. I did not check the pizza until I was home and it was ham and pineapple. According to the website 5280 has pepperoni and mushroom. Needless to say the 5280 I was given had neither. I provide this feedback to potential customers to suggest you check your order. I also provide this feedback to those in charge of managing the operations - please make sure your employees are aware of promoted discounts and can take an order properly. The manager at the new store failed both tasks. The pizza is very good but I will not recommend your product to my customers if the business can't deliver on the basics.

Pleasant privately-run company! We requested a pizza to go from here today around evening time. In transit home, I took a look in the crate and acknowledged it was not what we'd requested. I returned and informed them regarding the mix-up, and they quickly changed the right pizza and said we could keep the mix-up pizza too. The upgraded one turned out rapidly and they tossed in a free treat. I value a business that claims up to and rectifies botches without an object. The pizza was acceptable, as well.

Really good deep dish pizza! My son loves it. We've ordered twice in the past two weeks and very good pizza both times.

Y'all. This place is the shiz! So tasty. And the staff was really nice. I had the Jalapeno Popper Breadsticks. Those were great. Fresh jalapeños, not the canned kind, which is pretty awesome. The cheese breadsticks were also pretty good. Make sure you get the ranch. It was on point. I also got the 5280 pizza, which was a great classic, and the Cream Cheeseman. Both pizzas were really tasty. I would get both again. Cream cheeseman was prob my fave. I would definitely go back! Take out only.

Good pizza at the East location, but the staff at the phones and registers will kill you with their inefficiencies. It has taken 20 minutes of two occasions to retrieve pizzas from the warmers. I've witnessed her taking 10 minutes to take an order while 6 of us waited to pick up our prepaid orders. I hope this gets better

after 3 hours was told they " messed up" our order. spoke to the GM who told me, sorry our oven are off and we're closed.

We really like their pizza. We have ordered 5280 and my vegan daughter gets hers with veggies and vegan cheese. It is tasty, well seasoned and thin crust like we like. Their online order process is very easy. Watch for coupons in the mail which are always a good deal. Next time I am going to try their Avalanche pizza.
