DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana

loved the food, so fresh and nice. The calzone is too big and too cheesy, but the pizza is just awesome. We did eat once there and even took out for home and it tasted good both times. Also love their Calibria peppers. Come for that always.

From New Jersey and never truly found pizza that fills the void in my heart… UNTIL Desanos! Ordered takeout multiple times and ate there twice as well! Pizza is fantastic! My favorite is the Lasagna pizza. I cannot get enough of that ricotta! My only critique (very minor) is that I wish there were more basil leaves on the margarita pizza. I wish every slice had a basil leaf. I highly recommend this place. Best pizza in nash!!

I will never be back to DeSano after being a loyal customer for years. I placed a to-go order over the phone, was told my total was $13.50 and of course plus tax. $15 on a Friday night for dinner is a win. I always get a receipt and when I got home after a long work day I looked at the receipt only to realize I was charge $3.60 tip that I did not approve. I immediately picked up the phone and called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and he told me if I didn’t tap the no tip and just signed then a tip is automatically added. WHAT? On what planet is that ok. That’s a scam and it’s really distasteful. There are plenty of amazing restaurants just steps away from DeSano like City House and 312 pizza that also have great pizza. I never received an I’m so sorry let me take care of this it was quite the opposite, the manager made me feel small, like he couldn’t believe I was calling about a $3.60 tip to be refunded to my card. My point is they took money from me that I did not approve and how many 100’s of people are they doing this to that have no clue. I’m bringing awareness because this is NOT right and I work way to hard for my money to just give it away, especially when I did not approve this charge. Disgusting business practice.

Spot on example of Neopolitan/Italian pizza, with chewy/crisp crust, punchy fresh mozzarella and bright sauce. Came lightning quick ⚡️ and with a smile. The sheer variety and number of drink options was a happy surprise! Tiny suggestion: more basil on the margarita pizza!

We received a nice welcome here. The pizza is great and you can watch them at work making the pizzas. Very happy with this pizza place!

Had an incredible experience with management that’s solidified my 5 star review and breakdown on one bite. I’d noticed inconsistency in my pick up orders and brought it to the attention of management, Maximiliano, who was overwhelmingly empathetic and communicative with me in addressing and resolving the issue. Truly inspiring customer service. The people making the pizza come with the talents of Naples (iykyk) and with that the kindness of excellent service and immaculate pizza (By New York/Naples standards alike) I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Nashville, you’ll be upset. Best pizza in Nashville! High quality pizza with high quality ingredients plus more with toppings bar including notably fresh garlic, fresh black pepper, high quality olive oil to name some. Will be coming back as a regular!!

We stopped here on our trip to Nashville and it was incredible! Wonderful service and staff that came over and went through the menu with us. The DOP and lasagna pizza were amazing! The cannolis were the perfect treat to end the meal :)

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at this DeSano location and had a wonderful time! For a Saturday afternoon in Germantown, I was expecting the place to be packed. Instead, the restaurant was about half full, and we were able to easily grab a couple of tables on the patio. (It does seem like a lot of their business is for takeout!) The vibes were casual and family-friendly, which is perfect for this area. I should note that they will validate your parking if you park in the Metropolis lot right behind the restaurant! If you're dining in, you place your order at the counter and then they'll bring your food out to you in record time. I was seriously impressed ... I had barely sat back down after ordering only to find my pizza was hot and ready. I shared the Margherita pizza and an order of the meatballs with my husband. Both were full of strong, saucy flavors, and the pizza had a nice, crispy Neapolitan crust. Our friends ordered the Dessert Pizza, which I didn't get a chance to try this time, but it looked incredible! I'd definitely dine here agin.

We are big fans of DeSano in Bellevue and miss their location in Music Row! Stopped into the Germantown location after visiting a few fun spots in Germantown and so glad we did!!! DeSano is consistently good and use really great ingredients in their food. Their staff is always fantastic - courteous and attentive! We had their Spinach salad which is shareable and delicious! Also ordered the Pig and Americana (NY Style Cheese) Pizza (for the kiddo). Both were delicious! The Pig had plenty of prosciutto and they used a delicious cheese on it! They have balsamic vinegar which I put on this pizza but wish they had a balsamic glaze at their condiments bar. The Americana was awesome too - not greasy at all with that cheese. Crust was perfection and make sure you take a trip to their condiments bar - minced garlic and chili oil is a yum! Also they had a Pinot Noir on tap. Delicious and berry forward! Wish I could have gotten the wine maker name! All in all - so good!

Love DeSano. Three adds : - people if u want to get creative buy a dough ball / great happy hour - put your sign on side walk to draw us in - Scott, turn the lights down on balcony They are not adjustable but ambiance goes ways up with a dial. -

Stop here to try another pizza. This is a different style pizza but taste good. Service is quick. Big place lots of table. If you want a neopolitan pizza here.

Quite tasty! The verdura pizza was delicious and plenty big. Tasted very fresh. I'd recommend stopping here.

The pizzas were delicious. You can tell the ingredients are top quality. I had the prosciutto pizza and it was great.

Gluten sensitive so I'm always looking for a thin crust pizza I can enjoy. DeSano didn't disappoint with my favorite style, Napolentana. I ordered the Margarita Classico for with meatballs with a cauliflower crust. Delicious!! With friendly service and a large screen tv to watch the basketball game made it a very enjoyable experience. Thanks Nashville!

Stopped by before a preds game at the location in 4th. The parking is awful. The service was very friendly and attentive. The pizza was very good, the pizza crust was perfect Neapolitan style. It's a very casual pizzeria with self serve water and self serve Parmesan, chili flakes and a few other condiments. I will definitely eat here again. We also got the meatballs which were served in a red sauce, they were good, not great Overall a great experience if you can find parking

Don't sleep on this place! Everything was delicious! My friend and I each got our own 8" pizza, mine being the hot honey one. We also got an order of the meatballs, the flavors in the meatballs were amazing! They also gave me an Italian salad that was accidentally made. The salty & crunch of the sunflower seeds complimented the rest of the salad perfectly. And I'm not one to enjoy nuts on any of my food. We will definitely be back soon!

Been to desanos when they were at their older location near Broadway. Still good pizza at the new location on 4th. Great building, but not a lot of parking. The Capresse was excellent as usual and the pizza was hit and fresh. Service lacked a little today. Might be busy with take out. I really like the new building though. Different feel inside then the old location.

The Best Meatballs and Sauce in Nashville! The best friendly service. And "The Assembly Food Hall" always has two stages with free live music. With ample varied seating for all that come! Has wonderful ADA (Disabled) amenities for all that come. Great management makes it a great place for all to come and eat, listen to music and relax safely.

Great wood fired pizza on the edge where downtown meets Germantown. A good variety of pizza options including gluten free crust are available. We ordered margarita classico and the Bianca. We also enjoyed a nice helping of their spinach salad.

Another pizza option in Germantown this time serving up light and airy real deal Italian pies. The atmosphere here is very laid back and consists of probably the most open kitchen I've ever seen, it's cool to see everything being made. Personal reco is the lasagna pie for a perfect blend of familiar flavors with a little bit of non traditional toppings.

make a rez! spot was definitely intimate and vibey but my friend and I enjoyed. Good drinks and pizza! I will say the waitress definitely nudged us into getting a full pie when we did not need a full pie lol but other than that she was sweet & we got to eat this pizza for three days

Excellent pizza! I've gotten delivery from DoorDash from here and it's been great every time. Even after rattling around in somebody's car and being delivered, the pizza is still excellent. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Get a side of the hot honey to go with your pizza and you will not be disappointed.

This was delicious pizza! The bottom crust was super thin, but the outside crust was fluffy and thick. We tried a margherita pizza and the capricciosa pizza and they were both great. Minus one star because we ordered this to be delivered not that far from the restaurant and it was already lukewarm when it arrived.

Possibly the best pizza in Nashville IMO. They have wine, beer, and pizza. Sauce is great. I'm a huge fan of the margarita classica. The meatballs are also very good. Highly recommend.

Let me start by saying the pizza at Desanos is decent and quick; this is the reason that I'm not giving it a 1 star review. But the staff was terribly rude and left a foul taste in my mouth after my most recent interaction. After waiting 10+ minutes for a pizza that I could see was ready with no acknowledgment, we tried to get the staffs attention and was told "We'll get to you when we get to you." It's a Friday night, it's busy. I get it. But there were plenty of other ways to address your customers. Came home and quickly told my fiancé that I'm not willing to go back.

I search for great pizza everywhere I travel and DeSano got my approval. I am definitely a pizza snob being from Chicago and after scouring reviews and pictures I chose DeSano as my Nashville place to try. They did not disappoint at all. Great service from the get go and the pizza is just about as perfect as you can get. The undercarriage was perfectly crisp, the sauce a perfect blend of sweet and boldness. They put a lot of care into their wood fired deliciousness and it shows. Could definitely charge more than they did. Would definitely try again next time I'm in Nashville

The food is consistently delicious and always ready quickly. I love using their own app to place my order and it's ready by the time I make it to the store. Sounds game days can be tough bc they block off the road so just be mindful. Staff has always been extremely friendly and when it's busy they are hustling hard. I remember during the February freeze they were still open, still working hard with smiles on their faces. It's been a real treat to have them in the neighborhood. I have only had great experiences here.

We ordered online and they use door dash for delivery. Food was goood just cold because DD left the food and did not contact us. I would recommend going there and eating or picking up.

Worst rude service I've ever experienced in downtown Nashville. Basically the miserable young lady taking orders. I'll find something else next time, never again. Pizza was decent.

Easily top 5 pizzas in Nashville. Gotta try the Diavola if you like a little spice. Hard to beat the wood baked oven. Food comes out super fast

This place was awesome! Spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and I was surprised to see three brick ovens. I ordered the Vesuvio Calzone, and it was perfect. Wasn't greasy, packed with flavor and memorable. I ordered it to-go, and they hooked up a free cannoli. I'm sure it was leftover from another order, but appreciated nonetheless. Definitely would visit again and I recommend everyone else check it out too!

i just watched an employee from De Sano's throw a pizza into a car there for make a pick-up and say "here's your F-ing pizza". I was socked. I don't care about the quality of your food. when the quality of your staff is that poor.

The pizza always brings me back for more but I love the new spot and it's only time before the neighborhood catches on.

This location is nothing compared to the DeSano that closed on Music Row. Our order was over 30 minutes late and it appeared that the ticket had been lost, as we could see the employees searching for it. Their story, however, was that they were having issues with their printer. Highly unlikely, considering we received the salad we ordered. The food was decent, though not worth the almost $80 we spent. Service for the entire restaurant was hit and miss - other tables were also waiting a long time for their pizzas, but then there were tables that were getting their food very quickly. Their table markers are very small and were hard to see, so the runners were spending an inordinate amount of time looking for the correct people. The front of house manager promised us dessert for our troubles but did not deliver. Save yourself time and the $25 it costs to park and go somewhere else.

Zero stars with (absolutely awful horrible) person who answered the phone. After waiting 17 min on hold to find out how we can get our pizza since there was no parking to pick our online order due to the Sounds game - got (the horribly rude stupid loser) individual who seemed sort of helpful to locate where our car was behind the place but when he tossed over the pizza to the car, he said "Here's your F**KING pizza" - wow, what?? So called to find out why that happened and got the exact same guy who when I said he should be fired again spewed the F word to me and hung up mid-scream. Tried calling multiple times thereafter (10x+ thereafter to sort out what just happened but no pickup - guess I'm blocked but I can enter into your facility and you will never know if I will be the one who was served awfully, ya know?) But Yelp seemingly lives forever I guess so DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. And if they complain about what I just reported w a response, to me, it will prove you should question the service they provide.
