Club Colombia is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience traditional Colombian cuisine in an upscale environment. Housed in a charming colonial-style building, it offers iconic dishes like ajiaco, bandeja paisa, and empanadas, all prepared with an elevated twist. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, perfect for family gatherings or business lunches. The attentive service and extensive menu make it a standout spot to savor authentic local flavors

The food here is mediocre at best. The veggies were overcooked, the coffee had way too much milk, the sea bass was deep fried like fast-food, the seafood chowder was fishy with a gut-wrenching amount of dairy, and the price was far too high (increased since the picture posted by an earlier reviewer). In addition, the service was very slow with inattentive wait staff, which might be because the restaurant was very busy for some reason. Unfortunately, it took a very long time and several attempts to get the check so that we could leave. We litterally had to get up and ask several times because the waiter kept ignoring us and being dismissive. Then he had the nerve to demand a tip for the terrible lack of service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Attentive and friendly staff. Our waiter was bilingual so that helped. Cant say same for all others. We ordered two soups. The beef with clear broth was quite basic, and the meat overdone. So i wouldn't recommend it. I also ordered the weekend beef soup which was quite hearty and I emjoyed it.

Pretty authentic food from Santander. We tried:
+ The Carne Oreada which was really "Oreada" while being a bit thick. Most other places basically give you beef jerky. This isn't the case.
+ Lengua en Salsa. The sauce was pretty good and the lengua was the right amount of chewy.
Obviously, you have to try the Arepa Santandereana as well. All in all, a great experience! It is also open 24 hours most days of the week!

El Cañon del Chicamocha in Bogotá serves up a fantastic breakfast with a diverse and delicious selection. The tamal, in particular, is a standout dish. Its authentic Colombian flavors and well-balanced taste make it a must-try. The breakfast menu, overall, provides a satisfying experience, and the tamal adds a special touch that elevates the culinary journey. If you're in the mood for a delightful and authentic start to your day, El Cañon del Chicamocha won't disappoint.
