"Desnudo’s lines are about to get even longer. The Downtown location of our favorite coffee trailer just rolled out an incredible breakfast sandwich with bacon, two cheeses, a chipotle egg crepe, caramelized onion mustard, and chile mayo. We love it so much we’re putting Desnudo back on the Hit List—what was already a place to get a stellar brown sugar miso latte is now also a destination for a full morning meal. And here’s a hack: If their site says the sandwich is sold out, you might still be able to order it in person." - nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs, matthew jacobs, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs, matthew jacobs, nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary, nicolai mccrary
"This tiny coffee trailer has become a weekend ritual for half of East Austin (and there’s a second location Downtown). Every Saturday and Sunday, a line of yogis and run-clubbers flows through the modest food park, waiting for miso brown sugar lattes and iced matchas. The drinks are top-notch, but it’s as much about the eye candy as it is the caffeine. Head to the line to talk about last night’s concert at the Moody Center, then keep the conversation and people-watching going at one of the large shaded patio tables nearby. Someone in Hokas holding a Stanley cup and a tiny, excited dog tugging at its leash" - matthew jacobs, nicolai mccrary
"The East Austin coffee trailer has worked up a frenzy of interest in its coffee beans sourced directly from local farmers, which it uses in espresso drinks and nice lattes like the shoyu butterscotch or the brown sugar miso. There’s also a downtown cart location. It sells its beans online." - Erin Russell
"You probably know Desnudo Coffee as the tiny trailer in East Austin with a line that always snakes through the lot. They recently opened a second location Downtown at the Fareground food hall—right across from Y Comida (see below). Expect the same menu of excellent seasonal lattes, coffees, and teas, now with one more access point. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
