New Burger Restaurants NADC Burger and Deux Luxe Open in NYC | Eater NY

"From co-owners and sisters Charlotte Denoyer and Carrie Denoyer — who also run the Harrison café Cafe Deux — this Soho burger shop highlights the Denoyers’ Westchester restaurant’s burger and was pursued because they “had wanted to open something in New York City, where they grew up,” per a rep. The Denoyers’ father, Jean Denoyer, opened and runs longtime French restaurant La Goulue (open uptown since 1973, with a location in Florida). The menu centers on a classic burger made with a wagyu beef patty, cheddar cheese, and garlic aioli, plus the Big Deux version with two wagyu patties and a sauce; there are plans for monthly special burgers (first up: a Butter Chicken burger, a collaboration with restaurateur Jimmy Rizvi of Gramercy Indian restaurant GupShup). The rest of the menu includes items like crispy chicken sandwiches and portobello mushroom sandwiches. The physical space features barstools along the window, pennants and banners on the wall, and a sticker vending machine. The shop opens at 384 Broome Street (near Mulberry Street) and will open on Friday, May 16 with limited hours and service on its first two days (May 16–17), pause briefly, then reopen for evening service on Tuesday, May 20 and begin daytime hours on Friday, May 23." - Nadia Chaudhury

Ordered delivery and was very happy with both the chicken sandwich and the Big Deux. Both are packed with ingredients and taste of good quality. Good to know they hold well for delivery too.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Delicious food, friendly workers, served by Eddie. He gave me the whole rundown of their food and it didn’t disappoint! Would recommend to someone who wants fresh, delicious burgers and fries!

Great place! The burger was absolutely amazing — loaded, hearty, and big, you can really see how satisfying it is. Everything was fresh, and the taste was just incredible. Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Deux Luxe instantly became my go-to burger spot in NYC! The staff are super friendly, the space is spotless, and the wagyu burgers are insanely fresh. I had the Big Deux (their take on the Big Mac) and honestly, I don’t think I can ever go back to McDonald’s. The patty-to-ingredient ratio was perfect, and as a pickle lover, I was thrilled to see they use plenty of their own house-made pickles. Best part? I left satisfied but not weighed down like at other burger joints.

Excellent service, and great vibe ! Their burger is so yummy. The ail oil sauce brings a super special flavor to it, and definitely adds on a different character. I love it very much ! The meat was perfect as well … good quality burger. I’d recommend this place for all of my friends. I’ll go back !

I Finally found a great burger in the city! The classic burger was just delicious completely fresh and chef made! And I couldn’t resist to try the spicy chicken sandwich, again, they hit it out of the park, wonderful flavor with just the right amount of spice! And trust me, Don’t sleep on the fries!

A new burger spot that opened in May—apparently already well-known in Westchester. I tried the “Au Poivre” burger and the “Big Mac,” and the Au Poivre was seriously rich and sticky thanks to its thick creamy base. Super flavorful. The only real downside? The burgers are on the small side. They say they use Wagyu, but with a smash-style patty like this, you don’t really feel the premium beef quality. At this price point, the burger really should be a bit bigger. The Big Mac had a well-balanced flavor profile. The pickles and veggies helped cut through the richness, and the sauce was solid. But again—at $20, I just wish the size matched the price.

such a great new spot! burgers are delicious and the chicken sandwich is perfectly crunchy with just the right amount of heat in the sauce. can’t wait to return!
