Devoción in DUMBO is a total vibe. The space is beautiful, clean, and full of energy — perfect for getting work done or just hanging out. The baristas made me a fire coffee — I had a latte and a sparkling cherry coffee, both seriously next-level. They’ve got some really unique drinks you won’t find anywhere else, and everything tastes super fresh. Clean bathrooms, chill atmosphere, and overall just a great spot to grab a killer cup of coffee in Brooklyn.

Beautiful place to hang out, and people do, which makes it hard to find seating when you're just stopping in for a bite or a sip. Cafe mocha was bitter but pleasantly unacidic. Drinking chocolate is made with skim, thick, but also bitter, small serving.

Beautiful spacious place. Got there early morning when it opens. The plain croissant was fresh, nice flaky layers and buttery. The raspberry croissant was great as well. It is mostly a jam filling but overall the bread itself is quite tasty.

Pretty cool coffee shop and a nice location. The ambiance is really nice. The copy was good overpriced like all of the other coffees in New York.

As a whole devocion has been a solid. Great coffee great staff. This devocion location is aiight - kind of too busy for my taste but the interior design is impeccable as always.

Love the coffee there! This location doesn’t have the coffee roasting like the other one in Brooklyn but it’s close distance to the F train station and the two bridges makes it a preferred coffee shop in the area. Ambiance inside is as nice as it can be in a modern building. If you’re in the area and looking for a coffee shop - this is the place.

Cute spot for a quick coffee. The menu is simple and more so American. We would have loved to see some traditional Colombian drinks and pastries.

Beautiful place in Dumbo. Coffee smooth and well balanced. They serve a guava crossiant that was the best thing I ate during my week long trip to New York. Highly recommend this place

If you're on a hunt for darker roast coffee -- that doesn't taste sweet, fruity, light, sour -- Devoción gets closer than most places. (La Columbe still probably a step or two darker). Their store is nice and their counter snacks look tasty. Biggest gripe with Devoción though is that their "large" is small. Like a classic Greek-styled coffee cart 12oz small. For $6 with an added shot, that's kinda not workable as a daily brew.

Cute spot on our way to catch the train. Didn't try the food/ pastries but the drinks were decent. Ambiance was beautiful and surprisingly a quieter spot for the amount of people in here. Service was quick and the kid behind the counter was super detailed in his explanations of beverages... Ended up buying 2...

Good coffee and a great pick me up after having a long Friday night out. The cold brew and being able to sit outside and chill fueled me to enjoy the rest of my day in Brooklyn.

The best place to get coffee and a pastry in this part of DUMBO. Super close to the F train station, and very busy in the AM- probably because options are so slim over on this side. Vibes are always good in this cafe, my only wish is that they offered chai. Get the Guava croissant, it's perfectly flaky and the guava flavor is on point.

Devoción DUMBO is right by the F train and makes for a great spot to grab coffee with a friend. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and I think the cafe is really special for having so many plants hanging from the ceiling! I got a latte, which was good but nothing super interesting. Unfortunately, I don't think Devoción has a terribly creative / seasonal drinks menu. I love exploring different drinks and riffs on coffee, but nothing really stood out for me here. The service was friendly. Overall, though, a very convenient place to meet up and catch up with a friend

Strong cup of coffee, not acidic, full of flavor....what more do you want? The service is quick, the ambiance is comforting, and dammit the coffee is satisfying.

A fabulously smooth mocha, delicious banana bread, outrageously amazing guava croissant fresh out of the oven, lush plants inside, high ceilings, all windows, sunlight, lots of seating, what's not to like! 5 stars!!!!!

Stopped in and grabbed an oat milk latte. It was good, but not mindblowing. Vibe is great and there is lots of seating, though most of it was taken when I visited on a Friday morning. Wouldn't rate this location above the others, but it's a good option if you're in the area.

I'm curious why this location has a lower rating than the DT Brooklyn location! I found it to be easier to find a seat and brighter with friendlier service, with the only difference being that my croissant wasn't offered to be toasted (but I'd say that's on me)! On my latest trip I ordered: * Guava croissant: I love this bright pink pastry! Tried it at another location a while back and was super sad that it was sold out when I tried to get it again. I had half here and toasted the rest when I got home - 100% better when toasted despite already being amazing to start with. * Iced Americano w/ splash of oat: Your typical americano, I like that there's honey and simple syrup options to sweeten your drink. This location isn't as lush/foresty as the DT Brooklyn one, but it was brighter and felt easier to work out of. I saw the WiFi pw posted by the water station (also score for having a water station!) and seems like a great place to stop after a walk/stroll through DUMBO! Can't wait to come by again.

Perfect spot for coffee! Located right at the F train stop and perfectly situated close to Lifetime and all of Dumbo, this spot is a true coffee lovers paradise!

Solid alternative to Starbucks in Dumbo Devocion is a growing coffee brand in NYC. My guest enjoys their mushroom coffee....didn't know such a thing existed. Their cold brew was excellent. The location is clean and decorated nicely, the employees are very friendly. The bathroom is clean. Parking is now next level impossible in Dumbo. Prices are on par with the market. I will go back when I am in the area.

Devoción Coffee is a gem! The ambiance is beautiful, creating a perfect setting to relax or work. The waitstaff are incredibly helpful and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Their coffee is simply outstanding, rich in flavor and expertly brewed. I appreciate that they focus on the pure taste of their coffee, offering only Simply Syrup and Honey as sweeteners without any added flavorings. It's a true coffee lover's paradise, and I can't recommend it enough!

Large indoor space and they have some outdoor tables as well. It's right on a corner close to the subway and many citibike stops, with a very wide sidewalk and outdoor space that works well for big groups. Great coffee, especially cold brew (and they have nitro cold brew as well).

Vibes in here go crazy. Bathroom was extremely clean. Coffee looked really fresh. I only got a Guava Croissant and it was really good. Super busy so service was average pace.

All I have to say: ORDER THE CROISSANTS. Any of them. Every flavor is an 11/10. The classic croissant is what dreams are made of: so buttery and delicious. The coffee is also amazing. If you're trying to stay here for a while or work remote here, I'd get there right when they open. The seats fill up very quickly. The inside has a greenery wall and a skylight, making it feel really calm.

Most know this is a great place to come and enjoy a few lazy hours with friends or alone to read the latest book got off the press, also great for a WFH day. They have a list of coffees and teas to choose from; you can't go wrong. The space is big and has ambience from the plants and the sun roof in the area. Not too far from Domino Park take a stroll through the neighborhood you won't regret it! Definitely recommend!

Cafe itself was beautiful. Tons of natural light and comfy leather couches. Perfect place for an afternoon work session. Coffee was great, and the pastries looked delicious.

Super cute coffee spot. Stopped by during a day of thrifting and got a latte. It was very good, super flavorful and not too bitter. My group and I managed to find a spot to sit, but it was very busy so if you're coming by on a weekend, know that they may be full! But there is a good amount of tables to sit at, and the inside is absolutely adorable. Worth checking out!

Popped in here after getting off the subway so my partner could rest her knee. It was super cute inside! There was a nice seating area. It's a great place to work from. However, coffee wasn't that great. We got an iced mocha which didn't really taste like mocha. It was super light and felt like it was only an iced latte. Definitely not my jam but glad we got to experience the environment! Check this place out if you're looking for a cute place to sit and relax.

Iced Latte with whole milk and cappuccino. Overall nothing exceptional, certainly better than Starbucks but I would try other coffee shops to compare before returning here. The seating is perhaps the nicest part with the hanging gardens, bench cushions, and high ceilings. No traditional flavoring options for the latte here: just sugar, honey, and simple syrup. I opted to have no sweetener. The whole milk in the latte is stronger flavored than I'm used to. Perhaps it's older milk, but still makes the drink sufficiently sweet. It is hard to taste the espresso in the latte though, feels mostly like I'm drinking milk with ice. I'm told the cappuccino is made decently. Not burnt. Tastes sort of like a coffee cheese.

Great service and coffee! Never had food but won't be surprised if it's tasty. Plus the ambiance is nice and chill. Great place to get things done or meet for a chat

The crispiest, butteriest croissant I have ever eaten. Drip coffee was ok, but on the sour side. Tasted heavenly with the croissant.

Came here for the espresso and was not disappointed!! Well balanced espresso with a medium body and strong finish, what a pleasure to drink. The location was also very pretty and cozy. I was happy they had clean bathrooms will be coming back !

Visited this spot on my visit to Brooklyn and loved it! Great seating area to do work and coffee was great! And had to come back for the tumbler cause it was so nice!

Guava croissant was delicious and freshly baked - a bit pricey but the crust was crispy, flaky and overall yummy. Loved the high ceilings, lounge vibes and abundance of live plants hanging everywhere.

Busy and buzzing Brooklyn coffee shop right in DUMBO. Beautiful, high ceilings, with lots of natural light make it a perfect spot to relax, study, or catch up with people. Coffee drinks are delicious. They do not give lids but everything you need is at the end of the counter. Remember to also put away your own dishware and trash after at the end of the counter!

Good coffee, good service, and an excellent location if you plan to visit Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge park. It's right across the street the York subway station, F train straight here.

I didn't get anything fancy when I visited the Devoción in Dumbo. I'm mostly leaving a review because I love this shop's interior design. I stopped in on a chilly Sunday morning a couple weeks ago for a simple drip coffee. I enjoy Devoción beans and they're generally my go-to for Colombian coffee, so it seemed like a safe, "tried and true" option that day. And as usual, their coffee met my expectations. The best way I can describe the location's setup is a cozy cabin in the woods meets a neighborhood coffee shop. They have wooden furniture, including small tables for two, and a long counter with unique pastries on display; they have a couch and a coffee table. Some of the walls are exposed brick. All of these features can be found in any hipster hangout. But this Devoción also has a lot of greenery hanging from the ceilings and walls, beautifully arranged. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the store's design is the bench formed from a log. It blends in with its surroundings and is surprisingly comfortable, given that it's just a tree trunk that's been sanded down and shaped into seating. I wouldn't go too far out of my way to return to this Devoción (there's one much closer to me), but for the ambience alone I'd choose it over other coffee spots in the area.

Excellent pistachio milk latte! Was at first disappointed that they don't stock any flavored syrups but the coffee was so good I can see why they don't! Beautiful space as well.

This place is great if you're one of the first 8-10 people to plant yourself at a table with a laptop each morning. Otherwise, you're gonna have to pace awkwardly with your $7 cold brew and your slice of banana bread precariously sliding around on your little plate. But me, I like to take my shoes off and stay from open until close.

Definitely not a cheap cafe, enjoyed the croissant I got, though. Service was good, interior is absolutely gorgeous. Not too loud, some seating available but it's a bit cramped and you'll likely need to pay attention when sitting down not to bother others as the tables are super close together. Not ideal for those on a budget or those looking for a spot to do remote work. A good spot for a coffee meeting or a lunch break.

I decided to go to Devocion due to their cute cafe setup. They have a decent amount of seating and lovely large plants that make you feel like you're in a much smaller and more private cafe. I mainly came here to read for a bit and found the coffee to be great and guava croissant to be AMAZING!! While the croissant was not very big, it was so tasty that I was okay with it being on the smaller side. Customer service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Overall, I'd say prices here are about average for a coffee shop and the coffee is solid. I'll definitely come back sometime!

I came here mainly for the guava croissant and boy it was heaven! Around 8am on a Friday there were at least 6-8 people seated. As it gets a little busier, noise levels go up. The inside is spacious with seated tables, a couch, and booth like seats. The hanging plants give it an inviting feel. The cashier was nice and baristas move fast. They sell croissants ($5) and other baked goods. The menu consists of basic coffee, latte, cortado, and few teas. They also sell coffee beans and cups. Free Wi-Fi (just ask for the password) and they have a single gender neutral restroom.

Came to Devoción Dumbo as a meeting spot with friends since it's so close to the subway. The decor is immaculate - a bit cozy while modern and surrounded by plants! I got a a standard iced latte, but got a iced mocha in the past at another location (how is it $8 ) and it was solid coffee. I particularly enjoyed their guava croissant. It was pretty buttery and flakey. The red stripes actually do not contain the guava flavor like I thought it would - it's in a jam in the center of the croissant. Frankly I thought the croissant looked like a RolyPoly but it was a definite 8.5/10 croissant and I'd get it again.

Devoción is one of my favorite local chains as they make great drinks and always have the most beautiful tropical interiors (with outlets!) that instantly transport you somewhere far away from the dreary cold wintery weather outside. I love their bright yellow cups and saucers and the fact that they have wifi and outlets if you need a place to do some work for a bit. This DUMBO location is super sunny and located right across from the York St (F) station and within walking distance to the High St (A/C) station as well.

I recently moved to DUMBO and I have been on the hunt to find a coffee shop that has a good vibe, good drinks & snacks, and decent wifi. Unfortunately, this spot does not check any of the boxes. In fact, on weekends they do not even provide wifi to their customers.

** I'M DEVOTED TO NEVER COMING BACK HERE ** Oh wow. Stopped in here for a cup of tea on the way to an appointment. It's an attractive place. But wow, the service, yikes. The guy at the counter was very annoyed at the woman in front of me trying to pay with cash. He was doubly annoyed at *me* for asking for a larger cup for my tea. I kind of wanted to walk away, but it's cold and blustery out and tea sounded good... I stopped to look at a container that was on the counter next to the oat milk and without warning a staff member grabbed it away so fast I thought she was going to take my hand with it. Uh, I wasn't going to steal it! I just wanted to see what other plant milks they had. It was sitting right there. Maybe move the containers if it's that important??Sheesh. I'll never be back here. Remind me to make my tea at home.

Try Devocion which is right off the F train in Dumbo. The vibe is global and professional coffee options. Great cold brew and nice quiet spot to work for an hour.

Staff is really nice and friendly. It's mostly crowed, so it's hard to sit. They have a few outdoor chairs which is nice for summer. In the interior, there are hanging plants and it's cosy. It's next to the metro station, which is great. The coffee itself is really strong. Too much for me.

This is a nice working space. I got the Chocolate Croissant ($4.25), and the Cascara Ginger Can($4.50). The chocolate croissant was amazing. The Cascara Ginger Can is definitely an acquired taste.but you should give it a try if you like coffee and ginger. The baristas were really nice and the place is clean and beautifully decorated.

I never leave reviews, I actually hate review culture as it can really fuck up a business. I'm just writing this because the person at the counter should 100% not be in the service industry. I have been in the service industry for close to 15 years and I understand everyone has a bad day but he was plain rude, I was so uncomfortable that I laughed. No warmth in his voice, very matter of fact, and why are you still standing In front of me vibes. Mocha is the only flavor they have and it was good but $8.44 for a small mocha with almond milk is criminal. I will not be returning.

Decent spot to work. Good wifi, but there is limited seating. It is easy to focus at this location despite being so close to the bridge.

This is a very pretty coffee shop with high ceilings, big windows and cozy leather seats, but the menu is really small and disappointing. They don't have decaf coffee, matcha lattes or chai lattes and don't have a single vegan food option. The drinks also only come in one (very small) size. It's conveniently located right next to the York Street station, which is a plus, but there are definitely much better coffee shops in the neighborhood.
