The 18 Best Restaurants In Delaware Beach Towns

"The owners of this taproom got their start by brewing all types of beer in their home kitchens and garages. Now, Dewey Beer is one of the top craft breweries in the state, specializing in refreshing sours and IPAs. The massive space has garage door windows that welcome in an ocean breeze on a nice summer day, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating if you aren’t ready to be out of the sun just yet. On the food menu, you’ll find classic brewery stuff like warm pretzel braids, layered street corn nachos, and obligatory Old Bay wings. Dewey Beer Co. is vegan friendly, too—they can make just about anything on the menu meatless upon request. " - nicole schumann

Where to Eat and Drink in Rehoboth, Dewey, and Lewes, Delaware - Eater Philly

"With locations in Dewey Beach and Harbeson, Dewey Beer Co. is giving Dogfish Head a run for its money when it comes to craft beers by the beach. Dewey’s list is heavy on both high ABV IPAs and a unique style of fruited sour that the brewery has dubbed the Secret Machine series. These sours have secured a solid fan base with out there flavor combos like strawberry, blackberry, marshmallow, and push pop." - Caroline Coral

The brews are worth the trip and the meals make it that much better. Dewey Brewing is “all that” and has been for years expanding to four locations since their roadside inception just seven years ago. One of a kind funky, sour fruit beers are showstoppers and proverbial head scratchers. For instance, “pineapple grapefruit orange marmalade” captivating in color, aroma and taste or Fresca, a Watermelon and cucumber sour brew – yeah that rocked. Also, their hop forward Swishy Pants and other bold IPA’s make delightful pairings with the diverse meals offered. I have savored their hearty mac and cheese, oyster Po Boy (choose the Old Bay fries), but more recently I fell in love with their curry bowl with jerk chickpeas. An elegant medley of color and taste that could make a vegetarian out of burger lovers. Burgers are on the menu too. Greeters and waitstaff are smiles and keeping up with chaos (there’s a line at the front door at opening) with thoughtful touches (keeping up with water refills, ketchup etc. – before you ask) and prompt table service. Looking forward to our next visit and finding Dewey Brewing beers closer to home – this last visit was a one day 424-mile round trip and so totally worth it.

Google
I had the pleasure and privilege of visiting Dewey Beach Delaware. Actually, I just returned home to Florida. During my visit I got to meet and experience the local people and enjoy the community off season. One of my “go to” places was The Dewey Beer Company on the corner of Salisbury and 1. Mind you, I never drank or liked beer. My friends told me it was a must visit place. So I went. This is a Micro Brewery with a waitstaff that is knowledgeable, warm, friendly and just plain nice! My first drink was an Orange Crush (vodka). The cheeseburgers and chicken nachos are AWESOME ! Beer wasn’t on my radar. After my second or third, fourth, fifth visit, not sure which, I was schooled in the types of beer and their flavors. The names of the beer was what got my attention. Berry Bounty, Cherry Cobbler Pie A La Mode, Baked Alaska, Sun Camp etc. Don’t be fooled by the names. I’m not a sweet drink person. After a bit of persuasion, I tried the Cherry Cobbler Pie A La Mode. Who doesn’t like desert. It was tart slight fruit undertones with a bit of beer flavor somewhere in there. I was in love. The alcohol content is a bit higher than your average beer; but there are so many terrific places around the area to walk to and visit you won’t have to drive. I am enclosing a picture of my last purchase at the Dewey Beer Co. I wanted to make sure my friends in Florida got to taste this amazing beer. Thank you to all the staff at Dewey Beer Co for allowing myself and Belle to enjoy your company. This is my refrigerator. I couldn’t add all the beer flavors; I needed room for a few food items. Google
3.5 // food was just okay, especially the vegetarian and vegan options. They felt like an after thought without much care out into making delicious options for dietary needs and restrictions. Service was a bit slow too. But the nachos were tasty, the vibes were fun, and it’s in a great location. Not sure I’d personally go here again but it’s a nice stop.

Google
Had made the trip down to Rehoboth in order to spend the evening at Dewey after being a fan of their beers from afar. The actual beer itself was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. Friendly welcome when we arrived and no hassle when we asked to move from the restaurant side to the bar area. Our server was chatty and friendly and very aware of when to ask if we needed a new drink. The food was good - the Buffalo chicken dip was particularly standout. The only slight critique is that due to its size it gets extremely loud - like almost impossible to hear the person next to you! We really didn’t like the restaurant area as it really was food oriented with lots of people just eating - which is good for the venue of course - but we were there for the beers. Would 100% come back but would go slightly later as come 8pm it calmed down a fair bit.

Google
Excellent beer and food. We tried all the fruit beers and they were so good! Our server Madison was really nice. The chicken tender meal for kids was perfect. Wedge salad, goat burger, and shrimp po boy were all delicious. The place was adorable! They have nice merchandise for sale. We would definitely go back!

Google
I honestly didn't expect as great of an experience as we had. Not for any reason at all, the place looks clean and pretty and exactly as what you'd expect as a beach side brewery. I just figured it was another brewery. Our experience was exceptional due to their staff, specify Lo, our server. She went above and way beyond to make our dinner there top notch and fun, and really just an all around awesome experience. The kitchen staff did an incredible job with our dinners, no joke the best veg lo mein I've ever had, and I love that there was a kitchen shooter! Heck yes, kitchen staff rock! The cocktails I had were super tasty (and effective) and my husband enjoyed the beer. Will be going back during our short stay in Dewey!

Google
Great Dewey local with local brews and some good food. Sweet Corn nachos and Brussel sprouts!

Google
Beer was fresh and yummy. We didn't realize the whole other side of the menu with the fruity and sours so def gotta go back. Food was delicious. Got some peel and eat shrimp and their hot honey chicken sandwich. The sandwich could've used a bit more sauce and the fries could've used like a minute less in the fryer and they could've been soaked in water longer pre fry. Service was amazing, even though there was only two servers running around the whole place. Our server Madeleine was great! She was attentive and had our sandwich cut in half because she overheard us saying we'd share it.

Yelp
I wanted to absolutely Love this place... so what I will do is rank the beer and the food separately. The beer, it was great! The fruit smoothie beers were some of the most unique beers I have ever had. The merch is great also, I got myself a Deweydelphia hoodie. The food, the food was just okay. The wedge was great, it's hard to mess that up when you are using high quality Blue Cheese. I got the Hot chicken sando. Just like the review I read before we went, it was spot on saying the chicken lacked flavor. The crunchy exterior was okay... it fell off easily. Maybe cooked too hot and the chicken dried out. The fries were great. I got the salt and vinegar ones, they were really good. Glori got the chorizo and clams, she said they were good, not great. Overall, It's a brew pub, the beer was great, the salad and fries were great so I know what to order the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Love the indoor outdoor feel with the garage doors. Nice and breezy, but shaded. Friendly and knowledgeable service. I love the one concept kitchen too. The Starboard VIPale beer was my favorite. We didn't eat, but the food menu looks great. Wide range of options.
google avatar

Yelp
The food menu is very pub grub and up anyone's alley. They have an amazing happy hour menu as well with fun food for anyone. The staff are amazing, and the ambiance is like a surf shack, but awesome. Oh, the beer is good too lol ! Out of town travel nurse, and it's my fave go to.

Yelp
One of my favorite breweries in the country. Not only is the beer great and ever changing, but the food is phenomenal and even the gear is great. It's nice to see a microbrewery put so much effort into every part of their business. They have indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Parking can be tough during the summer season, so be patient and carpool. Staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. The street corn nachos are incredible and a meal in itself. The lo mein and hot chicken are great too. They truly have some of the most unique beer in America and you're sure to be surprised each time you come. Check their social media for upcoming events. They have trivia, bingo, a run club, and more. Overall, Dewey Beer is what other microbreweries should strive to be. A perfect experience for beer lovers, foodies, and everyone in between.

Yelp
Great location and always have delicious food. Never a line to be seated, but also have only been off season. Very attentive staff and great value for your buck. Comfortable seating and great art on the wall which is for sale.

Yelp
I live maybe 45 seconds from Dewey Beer Company and I walk by far too often. This year I am making a point to go there more --- and boy have I been missing out! Their burgers and their lo mein are fab!! I could eat there every day. Their beer is great - and all the servers are wonderful, helpful and friendly. I will prob be there once a week now that I discovered how much I like it there! And!! They have a run club too!! We went on a Tuesday in March w the club and it was a great group - every one was welcoming and pace was good- 3 mile run followed by beer and laughs. They tell me that the run club switched to Mondays for summer due to free parking on that night - so if you are in town - stop in for run and fun!!

Yelp
Bar food , just ok. Variety of fruit beers, not a fan those. Queso dip for pretzel was nice not too hot.

Yelp
I have been here a few times (all of them good), but today may have been the best. Coming during the "off" season makes parking a breeze, and there was no wait at all for a table. Our server (I think Becky) was very friendly and helpful. I got the vegan cheese steak and my wife got the veggie lo mein w/ shrimp. Both of our dishes were great. I'm not a vegetarian, much less a vegan, but the cheese steak was so so so good. One of the best things I have eaten on the trip. Will legit be hard pressed to ever order anything different next time I go back. In addition to our mains, the fries and beer were also very good. My only complaint was that there was a typo on the menu and my wife's meal was actually $1 more than listed. This was more than made up for by the excellent and friendly service and the quality of the overall experience.

Yelp
This is day (4) of my east-coast road trip and just left Ocean City heading to Rehoboth. To be honest, I thought I was in Rehoboth and stopped and fed the meter. Afterwards I looked around and saw a sign for Dewy Beer Co. and was like "Dang, didn't go far enough" but decided to look around and stop for a refreshment. It was a hot day and stepped inside for some AC. It was early in the day, maybe noon, and too busy, took a seat at the bar. As usual, I always op for some local fare and decided on the Pizzetta, a pilsner pale lager. Not sure but I may have two and it was refreshing to say the least. It wasn't time for Neil to eat but I did look over the menu and perhaps next time I'll plan my trip different and try the burger or wings. This was just a pit stop for me but I could see spending the day here when time permits. Any out-of-towners like myself need to stop. Peace.

Yelp
Kind of a mixed bag. The most offputting thing was what we could see from our table. It offered a direct view into the filthy kitchen. As for the food, we enjoyed the pretzel braids (which are prepared by taking them out of their freezer box and putting them into the oven) and brussel sprouts appetizers. My Hot Honey chicken sandwich was good, with a crunchy fried coating, while my daughter's Chipotle Chicken Panini was like cardboard--Chipotle-flavored cardboard, so there's that. With all the restaurant options in the area, there's no need for us to come back here.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try on our trip to Dewey Beach in Delaware. This is a lively little restaurant with a full service bar and kitchen. They offer outdoor seating as well as indoor air-conditioned seating which is nice on those hot summer days. They have a wide selection of their own beers, which range from fruity ones to dark lockers. Their menu offered a little bit of everything and they offered a great kids menu as well. I had a burger that seemed to be a special one for the restaurant. My husband had chorizo muscles and he thought they were delicious and spicy! kids enjoyed their homemade mac & cheese and fries. I will definitely be stopping by here next time we're in town.

Yelp
Dewey Beer has become one of my favorite breweries. All their brews are packed with fruit flavors, and the laid-back setting makes it must-see brewery along the Delaware shore. Tried a variety of beers: Thrils Granita - Raspberry Peach, Single for the Summer IPA, and Secret Machine Suntan Lotion. Also did the Cuvee, which was fantastic. Fruit beers feel like alcoholic smoothies, in the best way possible. Pair that with great, quick service and a nice food menu, plus a cocktails and wine list... it's perfect.

Yelp
Pretty decent place. Liked the vibed the most. Waitress was friendly as well. Tried a couple beer samples and went with the triple berry. It was quite good. Fries were tarty and the pretzel with beer cheese devoured quickly! The main dishes... Dewey burger and Dewey Cheesesteak were pretty tasty as well. Enjoy!

Yelp
dewey is super cute and very welcoming ! stopped in 3/12/24 for a beer and a snack - did not disappoint ! the nachos were delicious and the biggest portion imaginable ! the left overs were just as good as the first go. all the beers i sampled were great and well made. i enjoyed their sours !

Yelp
Great spot for some craft beers and excellent nachos. Can't speak to any of the other food but nachos are excellent and fruited beers were top notch.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was awesome the server was very informative and kind. Answering all our questions and having conversations. We got the nachos and pretzels and they were amazing. Would highly recommend for a drink and a bite. The vibes are casual and chill. There are screens to watch games.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly service, and great beers on tap! We were here on vacation and this was a top meal during our trip!
google avatar

Yelp
I love it here so much. They make their own brews, with a concentration on fruit beers, and I have yet to have a bad choice. The food is consistently excellent, a big step above your normal brewpub chair. What elevates this place especially for me is how many vegetarian options they have. It isn't a situation where I'm choosing from a couple items on the menu, I have so many choices. On this occasion we order the nachos, which we're not only big enough to share but big enough to share amongst a small family, and ended up taking half of them home. After all of that we split a black bean burger and deliciously seasoned fries. You just can't go wrong here. Go!!! Dog-friendly, large patio space which is also a major draw for us.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Delicious through and through! This is the place to eat, drink craft beers, and hangout with friends and family anytime I'm in Dewey Beach. Service is always exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable about their craft selections.

Yelp
MILFORD LOCATION: Partner had a work holiday party here, it was lovely. Food was good- we had pulled pork & chicken, pretzel bites, pizza, etc. everything was good -& warm Service was fast and friendly Ambiance was modern, bright, and the outdoor patio was a nice perk, we sat out by the fire pit most of the night. Safe area, plenty of parking.
google avatar

Theresa S.

Yelp
Amazing! Thank you Lo for the BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I tried the beer she brewed! The 86 Bad vibes, which was freaking delicious...it's one of the beers brewed in house! Our table did the house burger which was fire. I am begging you to try the salt and vinegar fries, they are next level. Nancy's chicken was also a hit (on the spicier side) and the hot honey chicken sandwich was also bomb. Overall it's just a great spot to get some good food and locally brewed beer. Service is always top tier and so are the vibes. If you're in Bethany or Rehoboth it's just a short drive away. A must try when in Delaware!

Yelp
Dewey Brewing provided my latest adventure with craft beer smoothie style beers. Sometimes I don't always see eye to eye with this beer style feeling that it comes off too sugary and weighty on the stomach. However the two smoothie beers Steve and I had from this brewery we actually really enjoyed and found them quite refreshing. The name of the two beers we had was from their Secret Machine series. The first beer was Guava, Kiwi and Papaya flavored. This beer was more tart than sweet and with the three fruits coming together Dewey handled the balance quite well in flavor. Same goes for the other beer which was Strawberry, Raspberry and Lemonade flavored. While definitely more sweeter than the other it still wasn't too heavy handed in the sweet tooth category. Probably some of the best smoothie beers I've had in recent memory.

Benny K.

Yelp
The food came out sort of fast, the food was good, I had fries which were very good and a burger that was also good, I got the dewy burger with a pretzel bun, the burger was good but the bun was a little soggy I tried a bite of the mac and cheese which I really liked, the service was good, the inside was active with nfl games on and outside was very calm, If you are in Dewey I would recommend it.

Yelp
We went twice on a family trip to Rehoboth beach. The beer was really good and was our favorite brewery food of the trip. Service was great also.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
High quality beers and some great food to match. Cool vibe all year round. The Pale Ale is a solid favorite.

Mary S.

Yelp
We'd just finished a big ride and were hungry and the Dewey Beer co did not disappoint. We had the hummus and chips which was good, the vegan cheesesteak, no onions, which was very tasty and the cheese amped up the flavor. The side of salt and vinegar fries flavor was something new to me and amazing. The ambiance is cool with interesting paintings on the walls. This is our new go to place when visiting Dewey.

Yelp
Ambience: 10/10, relaxed restaurant with outdoor seating and nicely decorated bar and inside. Accommodates dogs outside and has water bowls for pups. The proximity of the road to the restaurant wasn't disturbing sitting outside! Food: 9/10, we went twice and all though our food was great. Has clearly labeled vegan options (5 different entrees !!!) and were very yummy!! Burgers were a bit messy, wasn't a big deal. LOVED the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Service: 9/10, had extremely friendly servers and hostesses helped us promptly both visits. Drinks, 8/10, pretty average drinks from what my group had. Large selection of beers!

Yelp
We finally made our way to Dewey Beer for the first time last night to get some food and celebrate the holiday. Just about everything on our visit was excellent from the drinks, to the food, and the service. On this visit we had: Apple Peach Mango Marmalade Secret Machine-Baked Alaska Secret Machine-Blueberry, Blackberry, Raspberry Pretzel Braids Carmy Goat Burger-Caramelized onions, goat cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and horseradish aioli Hot honey fried chicken sandwich-dill pickles, fermented garlic hot honey, lettuce, and red onion After being able to try some of their beers, I knew I wanted to make a trip to try them in person. The sour marmalade was our favorite on this visit, and we snagged a 4 pack to go too. This was tart, sweet and sour. One of the better sours l've had. The fruit beers were good too and the baked Alaska tasted just like the desert. Delicious! The sandwich and burger were great as well. I'm a sucker for caramelized onions and paired with goat cheese, this was a no brained for me to order. I'd easily order that again. The chicken sandwich paired with the hot honey is an easy win as well. The fries were cut fresh with the right amount of salt, none of that frozen stuff here. My only complaint was that they didn't have Heinz ketchup! Being from Pittsburgh, I think it's forbidden for me to use anything else. Anyway, definitely a cool place to check out if you are in the area. Service was good, our waitress Lo was great and took care of us. The restaurant is a bit small and parking is limited, so plan accordingly. Worth it to give them a try though!

Yelp
This was the biggest Nacho I have ever seen considering the reasonablprice. Tried 4 different beers and loved every single of them. Good ambiance and friendly service.
google avatar

Yelp
Different cheesesteak #1024 in the last four years. Part two of helping older daughter Jordan. She didn't like my help so there will not be a part 3. I was very fond of this steak sandwich when I thought it was $14. I loved my beer. The pretzel twist appetizer was good. It is not a traditional steak sandwich. It is very flavorful and does come with french fries. I know we were in a resort town but $19 seems a little high.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, beers were great. We stayed for several hours and had a few beers, apps and then meals. The chicken and waffles app was a huge hit with our whole party of 8. Pretzel app and wings were also so good. We will definitely return when we are in town again!

Joy C.

Yelp
Adore their fruit beers, great servers, vegetarian menu items, filling meals and beer selection. Location is great. Parking can be a pain tho. Close to the beach and in the heart of Dewey. THE reason I come to Dewey!
google avatar

Renee V.

Yelp
We came here for a beer and dinner while traveling in Delaware. The hot chicken sandwich was so good and the crust was perfect. It could have been a little spicer but we just ordered some extra sauce and that did the trick. The beer choices were plentiful and we enjoyed the beers that we had.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience here. We placed an order for takeout, it was a fairly large order as it was for nine people. Our food was ready promptly within about 45 minutes which was impressive. When we picked it up the hostess who helped us check out was great. She was kind and very attentive and made sure that we were taken care of. I enjoyed my crabcake BLT. The food was still hot when it arrived. The bread in the sandwiches was delicious!!! Their food is great. No complaints from anyone in the party. We did place another big order Saturday night. It went really well for the most part. But, my friends order was left out of the bag. So he walked down the street in the wind and cold to get his order. They apologized, but so was hoping they would have maybe refunded just his meal. Everyone who drank the beer loved it! No complaints.
google avatar

Blair M.

Yelp
Best place to eat in Dewey Beach!!! We came down for the week and couldn't leave without one last visit. The service and food was amazing. We will be back every year

Eric E.

Yelp
Amazing and friendly waitstaff. The beer is delicious. They have more than just beer though, cocktails and wine as well. One of the best breweries around. The merch is sweet also.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
My gf loves the sours. This is by far her favorite brewery and we've spent entirely too much on their beer but we keep coming back for more! We even have some merch and also started a collection of empty cans on our garage wall of each kind of the sour beers we've bought. Food is great! I thnk I've only been there once when the food wasn't. Must have been a weird time. Not a big selection of other types of beers other than sours and IPAs, but if you want a great sour, I have yet to find anyone that does it better. Highly recommend both locations, but Dewey beach is my preferred spot because of the food and the beach.
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
For a small local brewery Dewey Beer has a very large selection of taps. They had at least twenty different beer offerings, mainly sours and IPAs. A flight is a great option so you can try out a bunch of things, and because the menu is overwhelmingly large our server provided us with some reccs. There was also a wonderful happy hour special for $4 drafts. There is a large outdoor area with lots of picnic tables. The space is very stroller friendly and I wasn't surprised to see that there were a few other families with babies in tow. Breweries always have great food menus, and Dewey Beer is no exception. It's hard to avoid a big soft pretzel and this one really delivered. The queso and mustard dipping sauces were A+. Local beer in a relaxed environment with some tasty bites - ya really can't go wrong. Worth a visit if in Dewey!

Yelp
My wife came here during a business trip 2 years ago and hasn't stopped talking about it since. This was the first time she had a sour and hasn't stopped drinking them. Her steak entree, which she forgets what it was, was amazing. We decided next time we were in the area we had to stop by and that time was now. With Covid there were some changes with seating which is understandable. We were seated in front of the hostess/merch stand. It was fine for a minute but when I couldn't get back to my seat because people were shopping I rolled my eyes at my wife, the hostess must have seen and she found a newly opened table and moved us. I appreciate her moving us but then we sat directly under the air so I wore my coat. Oh well. We got the movie nachos and hot honey chicken sandwich. Both were not as great as we expected. We read that the nachos were a must have but they were pretty bland and the popcorn threw me off. I guess they added that cheese flavor and the idea is movie themed but it didn't work for me. The sandwich was good but lacked the "hot" part of the hot honey. It wasn't overly sweet or hot. We hyped this place up so much and were disappointed when we left. The sours were good, according to my wife. They must have some great beer because people were buying packaged good like there was no tomorrow.

Anais T.

Yelp
Food was pretty good but atmosphere was extremely uninviting. From the overcrowded dining area to the lack of wait staff, the experience left much to be desired. The music was loud and not very good...just adding to the haphazard vibe of the establishment. We were seated and waited at least ten minutes before a server even came over at all. Then, it took a considerable amount of time for wait staff to return to take out food and beer orders. Maybe worst of all, was that the seats next to the glass front of the business are completely uncomfortable, much too hot and require you to fight the glare throughout your entire meal. I couldn't wait to leave. The food was good...and I was told the beer was also fine...but not worth the poor atmosphere. Oh also, you can see the kitchen from the dining room and ...food safety habits were not consistently being followed.

Yelp
Perfect spot when in Dewey! I'm normally not a fan of fruity beer but Dewey Beer has perfected it. I had the Thrills-Strawberry Lemonade. I'm fact, I had 2! Also the bacon/blue cheeseburger was great!

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal. This place is a bit cozy, and navigating the on-street parking around Dewey Beach can be tough. But once you are inside, none of that matters. The menu is online, and there is a good selection of appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. There are vegetarian and vegan options if you are into that. There is a kid's menu as well. During this visit, I had Nancy's Chicken and Rice, which was spicy and flavorful. The beer menu is also online and is comprised of mostly hazy IPAs and tart fruit beers, although there are some others sprinkled in there as well. You can pick up some cans to take home when you are done. Prices aren't bad, and the service is great. This is a can't-miss spot for the beer aficionado traveling Coastal Highway.

Yelp
SOS. Dewey Beer Co in Dewey has been my "go to" place when guest from out of town visit. Burgers and food are awesome and beer is the best. Been there twice recently on past couple of Saturday's and was completely disappointed. Burgers around on the first visit where overcooked which is a huge disappointment for a smash burger. Yesterday, ordered the Southwest Burger (the moist topping adequately disguised the repeat problem) but the wings were so overcooked it was like eating saw dust. I heard theres new cooks in the kitchen...please get them trained ASAP. I'm loosing faith. PS: bring back the sweet potato fries...

Yelp
Great beer selection - excellent hazys and sours. If you're from Pittsburgh and visiting the area they are a must try. On par with DG, Brew Gent, & Abjuration.

Love everything about this place. Good beer and good food. We go here for a date night every time we are in Dewey.

Yelp
We came here on Memorial Day weekend in a group of 4 and were able to get into the bar area right away. The server was very efficient and got us our drinks right away and within 15 minutes we were able to move to a table and place food orders. The beers were good. I was a little disappointed that they don't do flights, but they do 6 Oz pours for $3 and they let you do 2 at a time. For food, we got the po'boy and the hot honey chicken sandwich, and the pretzel for an appetizer. The pretzel was buttery and delicious and there were jalepenos in the cheese so that was tasty. The po'boy wasn't exactly authentic in flavor, type of bread, etc but it did taste good. The chicken sandwich was good but I was expecting it to be a little spicier and I wish that there was mayo on it. The chicken itself was very moist and the breading wasn't too thick which I appreciated. The pickles were decent but nothing amazing. They had some cool merchandise for sale and the vibe was chill, especially compared to the starboard across the street which is where we originally wanted to go. Overall, will go back for both drinks and food!

Yelp
2+ hours for a grilled chicken sandwich and a burger???? What??? Horrible service. I am a native and am here usually every couple weeks for a bite so I know the good, the bad and the ugly. Ugly was what was tonite. I understand it being a summer weekend night but this was beyond ridiculous. I like to support local businesses but they did not have their act anywhere close to together. Food was ok. Hard to mess up a sandwich. Service was the worst. And they didn't seem to care. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Yelp
Stellar burger, great service, great beer. Can't ask for more here. If you like fruited sours, their thrills stack up with the best. The secret machines are also really good and refreshing for the beach scene. Burgerwise, I ended up with the All-In for $19, which came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, cheddar cheese, bacon, ham, and a fried egg. It was solid and I got it with fries. The only complaint I had is that they didn't have any pint glasses available for sale other than a tall pilsner glass, but can't ding them on that. I'll be back if I'm ever in town, though I might wander over to their new taproom instead as I'm more about the beer!

Yelp
Great little place for some really tasty beers and friendly staff. We came down to here after we were treated pretty rudely at a young hip place down the street. They actually stopped serving us, I believe to get us out of there. Which we did. We waited a half an hour or more at this other place to get another beer, so we had seen this place passing by and said "let's go see what kind of beer they have." We explained how we were treated at the other place and one of the workers was sitting next to us after her shift, and said "treat these guys like royalty!" Entire staff was very friendly, the place was clean and we both really liked the beer. IPAs were great, they have other beer, which we did not try. If you're in Rehobeth or Dewey come on down to Dewey Beer Company and have some really great beer.
