Know what to expect the name it's in The Way that they play out their performance throughout the whole entire service. It is amazing and fun I recommend for all adults even children but there's a catch.. They are paid to be rude... It's a super funny experience and I will go back... Best birthday place...

We had a great time here! My son and his friend had the best time. They did not want to leave! The service was excatly what it should be. Our waitor had his hands full with these two. The food was just average but you really go for the experience and they definitely delivered on that!

Our servers were rude. Ha ha, jk. They were great and very accommodating for our large party. The food wasn't the best, but the service and their attention to our friends' daughter's 18th birthday were next level.

This experience was a blast! The food was also great. The shrimp were fresh, clean and tasty. Went here for a friend birthday and we had a party of 10+. The hats & insults were a nice touch haha!

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Dicks Last Resort, the food had potential and the staff were friendly. However, the lack of air conditioning made it incredibly uncomfortable inside. It was hard to focus on the meal when the heat was overwhelming. I understand things happen, but it definitely impacted the overall experience. I hope this is something that can be addressed, because the food deserves to be enjoyed in a more pleasant atmosphere.

Mixed review here. Overall, I'd say go at least once for the experience IF you have a good sense of humor. Parking in the area sucks. If you can't get in one of 5 street spots, you're going to have to trek it. Wait list system needs improvement. You pretty much give your name and they yell it out. You can forget about going anywhere and waiting on a text. Large groups were milling about, blocking the entrance to even get in and get on the list. Inside decor definitely gave Mardi gras vibes with community table seating. We definitely got the Dick's service, which was fun. The staff certainly enjoy their jobs and are quite efficient at degrading customers, all in good fun. Food was ooook. I got a blue cheese burger and tator tots with chili and cheese. The meat patty was thin and a little overdone and the brioche bun wasn't toasted. The tots were crispy with a large helping of cheddar and chili. Garlic parm wings were saucy, flavorful and had a sufficient amount of meat on the bones. The fish taco was absolutely dismal. It was little chunks of fish excessively battered and fried on a tortilla with a pinch of lettuce. I was so happy I wasn't the one who had to choke that down. Service check in could have been better, I had to wave my server down to get more water and see about my burger being brought out. The drink menu was extensive and I'd consider coming back to trying out the different cocktails.

I love Dick's for the whatever style attitude and the raunchy innuendos. The batter on the fish is great and their fish is flaky. The ribs are fall off the bone tender and the 12" weiner as they say has girth and is solid beef. The punch Drunk is large enough for two but is ok and their trash can punch is solid. There was a steady flow in the restaurant on Saturday night, but it was not packed.

I'm giving this place a five star for the awesome time we had here. They were 33 of us 16 teens, 17 adult. We've never laughed so hard in our lives. The service was absolutely phenomenal and The servers did their job to the T!! Absolutely love the hats. Food was really good, as well as the drinks. If you're looking for something fun to do with a group of people, this is the place to go. If you are easily offended this is not a place for you.

For what it is, I cannot complain. I didn't have high expectations rolling into Dick's at 4:30pm on a Thursday evening. Additionally, I didn't want to set the bar too terribly high for a gimmicky establishment. To my surprise, the food was tasty. They didn't have an overly worked menu, and they were very attentive with service. I'd take a group back for a fun experience; however, I don't think I'd go again just to eat.

I had found myself at HOB for a show, and when the show was over my ride home had a delay in being able to swing by to come get me, because their previous thing had run long. I hung at the venue as long as I could but needed to kill another 30 minutes or so. I poked my head in here and asked what time they closed and on that night it was midnight. One of the front end girls was real sweet, the other short tempered. I ordered a beer and the bartender asked if I had wanted food since the kitchen side was wrapping up. He was cool/understanding about my just having a drink while I waited for my ride home. The other customer at the bar nearby me was friendly and made conversation but it was hard to hear over background music. Atmosphere is that this is a tourist spot. Folks at both tables still wrapping up meals and visiting all had paper hats, there was some loud but friendly back and forth, and at some point someone was required to go on a stage to do a chicken dance. My single beer, while a huge drink, was $15 after tax but before tip. I didn't check out the menu for food pricing. Somewhat expensive for what I'm used to paying at my normal spots, about par for a touristy spot near a concert venue and sports place. I don't know if I'll come back per se, but I may recommend it over the place it seems to share a building with.

This is a great place if you have a sense of humor and can handle being ridiculed. LOL I love the atmosphere and interaction with staff. Food is ok but not five star. Always a fun place!

Dick's Last Resort was honestly one of the best times I've ever had at a restaurant, and I've been alive 20 years. The sarcasm was perfect, the hats were perfect, and the food was delicious. I got the Salmon with mashed potatoes and corn, my girlfriend got half-rack ribs and wings with fries, and we got cheese sticks (appetizer) and a cheesecake (dessert) to share. All food items were devoured. The service was amazing too. Our waitress did a wonderful job with the sarcastic service as expected while still getting us everything we needed quick. Wonderful place, wonderful ambience too. Very easy on the eyes, and the music playing was wonderful.

This was a very fun spot for me and my employees to go for lunch. This restaurant outing was meant to serve as a reward/team morale boost for us to kickstart the new term year. The team enjoyed the sarcastic humor from the waiter as well as the paper hats (probably the best part). The drink specials were really good, as we ended up staying longer than anticipated and was able to take advantage of happy hour! The entrees were good portion sizes based on the amount we paid. My team said they would like to go back again for our Winter team outing - I think we will.

The chicken fried steak left a lot to be desired desired. The service was great and the ambience was fine. Parking is a little difficult but not impossible. The crab legs were very good but they only offered a plastic pick to get the meat out and did not have the tool to crack the shell.

We went for the experience, obviously. It was okay. The food was nothing more than public school cafeteria food. It was basic, bland and honestly, nasty. Very expensive....so I was hoping for better.

Location, design, and service were all amazing here. Our waiter was funny and engaged with the kiddos a lot. Food was good, but was like bar food? Experience was nice, we would go again.

Came here for a bachelorette party and it did NOT disappoint. Our waitress was phenomenal and kept us laughing the whole time. She matched our energy perfectly and literally never missed a beat when it came to making us laugh! If we are ever back, I hope we get her again! Drinks were some of the best we've had in a while. We LOVED the strawberry margaritas. Also with almost every alcoholic beverage, you get to keep the cup! The food was okay and a tad pricey, but we were really there for the atmosphere anyways! You pay for the experience, and we'd pay for it again! This place is loud and rowdy. If you go in and with the right mindset, you'll have a blast!

I was pretty disappointed. I drove all the way from Guthrie, Oklahoma, just for the experience.... When we got there, it was around 1:30 and the waitress we had was nice... so nice The only thing that was remotely funny or mean was our hats. And the lady sat there the entire time at our table telling us stories about treating other people like crap and yes, she did know it was our first time there and we told her we were here for the experience. I'm sorry, but I did not go to hear stories about how others got to enjoy The experience We drove four hours to experience it ourselves. Me and my boyfriend have such a dark sense of humor. We were both extremely excited and extremely letdown we got in the car Sunday drove all the way down there just so I could go eat at this restaurant. The food was great. The drinks were good. The service was great, but we missed out on the experience we were hoping for. Specially to drive a total of eight hours in one day just for this restaurant.

I actually really enjoyed our visit to dicks. We were there to celebrate my nieces birthday and I honestly had really low expectations from other reviews BUT it was so fun! The food was so good and service was hilariously semi-rude but not like over the top mean lol which I appreciate. We had a great time and everyone loved their food so that was a win!

I've always wanted to go to one of these restaurants and I finally got around to it. I'd like to first say, the inside seemed so "claustrophobic" or crammed up since there were so much people there and very dark. Second, the food looked great but it was mediocre. I had the Alfredo and to me personally it was dry so more sauce could've been nice but portion was good. Food was coming out pretty quickly as well. Service wise of course they'll be purposely rude lol but the waitress we had was hilarious! Loved her! Other than that I had fun reading people's hats because there were funny sayings on it and especially what the waitress had wrote on our hats! So yes the waiter or waitresses do give you hats with some kind of "saying" that will somewhat describe you of course as a joke.

Jazz killed it!!! We had our company Christmas dinner here and she couldn't have been more attentive to us. She made sure our food was good or in her words "food." With the food, we got "rabbit food" (which was hilarious) ribs, steaks, and salmon. All which were better than expected so shout out to the cooks! Some of us were nervous but even with her fun insults she made us all feel at home. Like your with your best friend passing out jokes. The manager couldn't help but crack a few good one with us. Knowing everyone in there is to just to make you laugh, made the whole environment awesome! The hats were what topping of the cake, it's like she read our minds, but even some of them were TOO GOOD! We all were rolling and crying. Definitely a great first time experience, definitely will be coming back and asking for my girl jazz!

THE Most Disappointing Birthday Dinner Ever. It's true that the title of the restaurant gives everyone a fair warning... Last Resort. Special request to go here from my daughter for her 21st birthday dinner turned out awful in Dallas. We got in very easy on a Wednesday evening at 5pm. That was the ONLY good thing about the experience. There were not very many people at the restaurant dining throughout the stay; however, the wait-staff was awful on coming around and checking on us. Their thought for our needs were at its lowest. The manager who walked around periodically didn't even appear happy to be there either. Don't get me wrong... They were nice but not friendly, which is part of the gig, but it's not their scripted insults I'm talking about. It's their energy. Yes, the food is bar-trype restaurant food, but the food quality tasted cheaply prepared. Paying $350.00 (tip not included) at the end of dinner, which was averaged over $20 per Plote, I was expecting better quality food and better service. All of my friends asked how our experience was throughout this week, and they were shocked when I told them the bad news. Don't waste your time or your money, and definitely don't pay attention to the ads they have or the inviting website appearance. If you do, you may just may wind up broke and disappointed in one visit. We would have had a better experience at either Hooters or the House of Blues next door to it.

My coworkers and I wanted to go somewhere a little different for lunch so we chose Dick's Last Resort! And our waiter Rebecca was awesome and highly recommend you visit her . Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The bacon cheeseburger was really good and cooked well. The buns are soft and flakey and melt in your mouth. My coworkers got the hot chicky & burgers and I didn't alert any of my coworkers before we came here. They were alarmed at first LOL! By the name on their hats lol. Why would I pay good money to eat someplace where I'm going to have servers so rude and disrespectful? BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME. I dropped off my wife and daughter to go see Wicked, so I had to find someplace for my 12 year old son and I. As I looked around, it hit me that Dicks Last Resort is in the area. I knew this would be perfect and that he would enjoy it. After we parked our cars, I joked with him that the food was good, but the service was horrible. My son knows I YELP and said "well, if the service is bad, leave a bad review". Gotta love this kid!! So we're sitting at our table and group of around 6 teenagers are seated a couple tables down from us. I saw my son noticed them since they were all pretty cute girls, and he's at the age when he's started to build crushes and want girls to notice him. Just then, a server walks by and slams on the girls table, then points to my son and says "he thinks you're hot". My son was three shades red and it was so awesome! My only complaint is that I feel they went a little light on me with my son there. I wanted to embarrass him and have him turn a few shades redder than he did. I think the average customer varies, so they don't always go fully to the paint on youngsters; I respect that. I talked to the young lady that helped us, and she said that recently someone was there and didn't like her attitude... really? It's Dicks Last Resort, you come here for the attitude. So on top of the crappy service which was awesome, the food was good. It's bar food, but its yummy bar food. I'll bet this place would be a blast with a few of the guys watching a game on Sunday. I can't wait to return to Dicks with a larger crowd and enjoy some insults and great company. My son kept his hat for two weeks before I finally took it out of his room... LOL

I get the business concept, although I think it's ridiculous, but after going after a concert to grab a bit to eat and a drink before scheduling my Uber I found the food was of very poor quality (frozen shrimp, fries and canned green beans)and order Grey Goose (double) for my friend and I and it was not. It was a best house vodka and definitely wasn't a double. To top it off the service was unbelievable BAD. 65$ later and leaving the food uneaten Needless to saw I will never eat there again and I do mean NEVER

Myself and a group of friends were heading to the Dallas Stars game and decided to eat here before the game, I had heard this place was a fun experience but I really thought it was a silly concept honestly. The server wasn't funny (and trust me i love sarcasm) or attentive, the decor was ugly and uncomfortable, and the food was bleh. I ordered the pepperoni flat bread and it was greasy and flimsy with no crisp to it, I also ordered the mozzarella sticks and the were just standard frozen version not very good. Overall I ordered the flat bread,mozzarella sticks and 3 beers $60 check. Maybe I'd try a different location but it's doubtful, there are a lot better options close to American Airlines Center

This restaurant was so rude! The waiters were not friendly and were actually very sarcastic! The one shining light of our experience was our Server Brendan. He was very quick with his service and was very funny. Overall the food was great but the servers were NOT NICE! And we didn't even get a balloon...... the margaritas made up for this but overall I would only come back with earplugs so I didn't have to experience the rude service

I ordered a rare steak. Steak cooked PERFECTLY. My bf ordered ribs and wings. Ribs fall off the bone. Wings crunchy and juicy. Tie that all together with the amazing service of my server Rebecca?!? And it was worth the three hour drive from College Station. She was snatky, funny yet attentive and fun. I'd come back solely for her and her alone .

I love me a fun dinner spot and this was just the place. I've been wanting to go to Dicks Last Resort for a while and was finally able to go for my boyfriend's birthday. Staff fit the parts perfectly and made it a fun experience. Can be very hectic at first because SO much is going on and may be overstimulating for some! Highly recommend trying at least once. Menu items range from about $15-25 a plate.

OK, let me start off by saying the experience was really cool. Our waitress was actually nice, she'd just walk by and say some smart ish occasionally Now, the food... it was horrible, I'm sorry. I think that's part of the theme of Dick's though because there is a sign up that mentions "lousy food" and the fact that you're still going to pay for it The shrimp isn't real, it's imitation and the food is a bit overpriced. Including the tip of $12 and a shot, my bill was almost $100. It was cool to go but we probably won't return.

Fun group atmosphere joint. Staff was fun, management was very kind and accommodating. And the home made hats...well, let's just say, I where it ANYWHERE outside this restaurant. My fish, green beans & broccoli were well seasoned and tasted great, would have loved it better if it was all hot. I would come back and recommend.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner with some friends. It was all of our first times and we had such a blast! Maura was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She made us laugh and her food/drink recommendations were spot on. Food was on par with a themed restaurant. My boyfriend got the ribs and they fell off the bone. We definitely want to come back! If you go on the weekend, ask for Maura! Our paper hats made us cry from laughing and she delivered on the attitude that we expected.

We went here because we needed something to eat and it was next door. I've been to other Dicks before but forgot how loud they can be. Food was ok. Service was fine. Typical chain restaurant with a theme. If you ever been to Dicks before you know it can be a little crude and rude. That's what it's all about. We were surprised to see a group of 14 year old girls celebrating a 14th birthday with a friend and they were all wearing the famous vulgar bags on their heads. I'm sure they hear a lot worse at school but I don't think I would take my daughter and friends here for a birthday lol. If you've never been try it out. It's a fun time but one of those places you don't frequent for going out to eat.

This is definitely the ultimate tourist experience in Dallas. As other reviews describe, why would you go to a place where they're rude to you? For the experience. As soon as you walk in someone greets you with something rude or inappropriate. Once you're seated, you get a paper hat with a joke on it. That honestly was the star of the experience. The interior is messy and lit. Definitely goes with the whole vibe. I went for a late lunch so the place was pretty much empty. I assume this place would be pretty busy in the evening hours. They have a lot of drinks to keep you busy. The food is not the best but you get your basic meats and steaks. Overall great for a tourist, go for the experience, maybe even a souvenir. But I'm sure there are other places you can get better food at.

John was an amazing server, we brought my cousin here as a surprise and we were not disappointed! Our food was good as well! And the ambiance was hilarious!

Rebecca was our server and she was lovely... again. She was great with the adults and the children. She's funny and rude all in the same sentence. She remembered us from months ago and asked about things we had previously talked about. Highly recommend.

$180 for 2 people - for bar food.... Insane... it's not that hot of a commodity for prices to be that high? I recommend you go once to check it out and that's it. We went once and are never going back.

LOL what were you expecting 5 stars!? I want to talk to the manager about the terrible service I paid for. Honestly this place is a joke and really only there to irritate the Karen's in the world. It's a great place to laugh but don't expect a good customer experience or even good food. You are paying for the worst experience in the service industry and it's going to be hilarious. I would highly recommend to bring your annoying In-laws here or your cousin who keeps asking to borrow that lil $20 every other week.

We expected treatment like Dicks, we got Magic Time Machine service with expensive dry and overcooked food. I'm not joking for the sake of the expected ambiance. This dude straight took 4 times to get our tickets right at the end, our hats were lame, and the food was messed up first round, everything was cold when it was served. You expect a little more with a place that charges the amount they do for food. We wanted to have a good time and get teased relentlessly and we got a dude that could barely talk to us. Won't be back, we're super bummed.. so much for birthday fun. ‍

Super sweet, super kind, did not curse at us once- GREAT customer service ALWAYS puts customers first, and waitress led the prayer. Fantastic family FRIENDLY fun! The food was absolutely worth it and actually really really good

Fun to say we have been there and had the experience but both the food and drinks are extremely overpriced. $250 for lunch was a little much.

Not a place for thin skinned people who are looking for a quiet little place to have overpriced fussy food, but if you can take a joke and enjoy good food at reasonable prices, this is a place you will want to "discover"...!!!

Had an absolute blast. Our grandson asked to go before he left for college. Just so much fun. A little pricey, but we loved it!
