The staff are very kind. They will tell you about your unique chocolate process and let you sample the dark, milk and white chocolate. We purchased a few truffles, the gin which is made with cucumber was so unusual and interested, as was the safe with brown butter.

Really good chocolate. Already tried almost everything there. Always when I pass by I get a sweet-salty hot chocolate because it's sooo good. Very nice dark chocolate.

Good, but not as exceptional as I had hoped. I eat a lot of chocolate. Probably about 2-3kg/month. Usually Lindt 70 or 85%. Lindt is solid, not top-notch. But available everywhere. And therefore good to serve as comparison. I had wanted to sample Dieter Meier's chocolate for a while and finally went to get some. I bought two small boxes (the one pictured, 7*25g) and a smaller one with about 84g. I was a bit dissappointed by the presentation. The boxes are simple and do not look luxurious. At about CHF 16 for 84g (=CHF 200/kg) you pay about 7-10x the price of a bar of Lindt (usually on sale 3x100g for CHF 6)! The bars are slightly thinner than Lindt. The design does look inspired by a box of cigars, but lacks finesse. Tasting: The dark chocolate (75%) broke 'softer' than Lindt. On the palate the flavor is much more intense. This is where the experience is unique. The chocolate seems to be everywhere. I have never experienced such a complete chocolate flavor. However, to me it seems very 'buttery' (more cocoa butter to provide the silky creamyness usually generated in conching?). That would also explain why the chocolate does not break clean. If the flavor had been achieved with 90 or 95%, I would be delighted. But to create a 75% which in my opinion feels overly buttery and not significantly less bitter than 85% of Lindt is not a revolution to me. Conclusion: Tastewise it's a mixed bag. I would rate flavor at 4/5. Value at 1/5. Compare it to a good fleur de sel vs table salt. I would be willing to pay the premium but to me the flavor would have to be less buttery. I think they should go back to lab and work on better recipes. If I want 'normal chocolate' I'll stick to Lindt. On special occasions I would go for something like Valrhona. And maybe once a year or so for a special edition of Dieter Meier. Judge for yourself!

Who knew that cold pressed chocolate could be so good. I am not a big chocolate fan myself usually going for milk chocolate because the dark chocolate is too bitter. But this dark chocolate is incredible it's not too sweet and not bitter at all. however be forewarned that if you really fall in love with this chocolate you may need to get a second job it is not cheap.

Friendly service and colourful interior. We sat outside in the cold weather.with warm blankets and drank their sweet and salty hot chocolate. At 10CHF a drink it's not cheap but it is super tasty

Favourite has to be the white chocolate which has a high percentage of cocoa butter. Wish I bought more! Try the ice cream too! The freshly made cone is super pretty and absolutely delicious, like a fresh eggy waffle

One of the cutest chocolate shops in Zurich. The truffles and hot chocolate are of very high quality. The hot chocolate comes in different flavors and was delicious. The truffles I ordered were unique flavors and so pretty! Service was great and fast. Only downside is the price, but I thought it was worth it.

If you love chocolate or bonbons with amazing creative fillings...thats the place to be. They offer as well hot chocolate.
