A cute and healthy alternative for a quick meal! The guy that served us was super sweet and gave really good portions. I got the farro with broccoli, mac and cheese, and tofu (extra). The inside is clean and quiet, the perfect casual date spot! Will be going back!

Food is good here and a great healthy option for lunch, but can't recommend ordering online ahead of time - they are often 10+ minutes later then the given time with a queue of people waiting for pickup. Give the popularity of this spot in seaport, they should hire more folks to deal with order ahead, especially how Dig pushes consumers towards this method of ordering - 1-2 people is definitely not enough to handle the lunch rush. It's a great place to pick up lunch, but I'll just do counter service going forward.

Food was tasty (classic Dig) but the rice a little dry. Good value. The guy serving may have been having a bad day but was surly and had questionable food hygiene practices - eating food from his gloved hands while serving. Good value, but not sure I’d come back - overflowing bins and surly staff are not my Vibe.

Love this place (and even the cashier at the Trader Joe’s across the street vouched for it when we went for groceries after)! We were looking for a healthy tasty food option in Boston during our visit, and this place delivered just what we were looking for. The staff was also very friendly, accommodating, and customer service oriented. We “dig” it!

This Dig is a hidden gem. Healthy and always fresh with great seasonal options. The staff here goes above and beyond always - friendly, respectful, and accommodating. Repeat customer here. Shout-out to Nani and Q - they sincerely made my day with their professionalism and smiles. Thank you!

This was my first time here, and I'm really disappointed with the food. The salmon was dry, tough, and too salty. The sweet potatoes weren’t cooked all the way through. The only things that were decent were the rice and broccoli. I wasted almost $16 on this meal.

Ordered through door dash but honestly best food I’ve had in a while. 10/10 would recommend any day of the week especially if you want to feel full but not regret what you ate.

I love this location. All of the staff are super friendly and kind! The inside is beautiful and cozy. Most of all, the food is AMAZING. Hands down my favorite comfort food. Lucky for me, it is right down the street from my office, so I really lucked out! 10/10 recommend!

This place is BOMB. I doordashed their chicken home style meal and it legit tasted like someone's mom made it (in a good way) like a delicious home cooked meal. Mashed potatoes were so buttery and creamy, brocccoli and veggies seasoned perfect, and chicken was tender/moist. Oh, and the gravy/sauces are delicious. Get the garlic aioli and hot sauce. 5/5 yummy healthy food.

Absolutely delicious food. Fresh healthy with tons of options. Got a side of the focaccia. Fantastic moist and fresh with a light crisp. Chicken was crispy with flavor and not dripping with oil. Carrots had a perfect char and texture. kale cesar was crispy and refreshing. Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Would absolutely return.

I went today and had a horrible food poisoning. It was the only meal i had on my lunch and i couldn't est any after that. I believe it was the broccoli.

Loooove super healthy super hearty super quick. Ordered on their app. Easy peasy pick up. Needed some solid food after a day of travel. Did a veggie bowl w fried tofu. Yummmyyyy. My new go to when passing through.

This place was okay. I had it delivered for lunch via Uber eats. The ingredients were fresh. I had the hot honey chicken but it kind of tasted like slimy rotisserie chicken. They did include a fork which is a plus. Would recommend, but would personally probably try something else in the area next time.

Casual spot for a quick, healthy, and flavorful meal. I'd easily return. I felt the food was very tasty and nutritious. Service is fast, you select what you want and they basically build a bowl for you. I'd recommend and return.

So delicious George was so delightful and kind. Affordable and The service was on point. The crispy chicken was so good whenever I'm in Boston this is the place to eat.

It's big, the Classic Dig, probably enough for 2 normal appetites. Char in abundance, but a general blandness not entirely addressed by a garlic aioli. Polite and efficient (if perfunctory) help and a serviceable eating space made it easy.

DIG in Seaport. Herb roasted baked chicken, broccoli, sweet potatoes, brown rice w/ garlic aioli on the side. The skin could have stayed on the chicken better. Taste was good for the sweet potatoes and broccoli. Rice needed more flavor, but garlic aioli made up for it. $15 seems ok for it, although on the smaller side for me.

Quick and healthy. Nicely seasoned ingredients and love the roasted vegetables. They add roasted seeds too. Yum. Fast preparation but minimal interaction with customers. Not sure if the help is supper busy or extremely introverted. Very small seating area - but they make the most of the space they have.

3.5 Stars - Here's the scene: I ordered takeout from Dig on a Thursday night, after rush hour. I ordered from the app which was fairly easy to do and picked it up. The inside looks like an average "Build Your Own" fast food restaurant, so no complaints there. There were a good amount of workers behind the counter and only one bag at the ready, which was mine. The cashier, who seemed annoyed that I was there for some reason with one AirPod in her ear, gave me my bag rather quickly and I started my walk home. There was one person sitting down eating in the restaurant as I left, so they weren't overwhelmed with orders or anything... when I got home I realized they forgot to make one of the three bowls I ordered. Absolute bummer. In hindsight I should have looked in the bag, but it sometimes just slips the mind, right? I called them when I got home and they refunded me right away (for some reason not for the price of the entire bowl, .59¢ less than the price of the bowl which irked me but whatever). The refund was fast, so I guess glass-half-full that was an easy process. I had the Crispy Chicken Kale Caesar, it was pretty good!! Just an unfortunate experience, really inconvenient for my bowl-less friend. I will most likely go back so I can try it again because the food was good and it was fair for the price. It easily could have been a one-off situation (I'm optimistic!!).

Food was DELICIOUS, 11/10. No complaints, good as Dig can get. Even from ordering online :) However, I was a bit disappointed that I came here 4pm (after lunch hours) on a Thurs and the tables were this dirty. This store is usually pretty clean.... Especially as someone who used to come here all the time before the pandemic! The tables had stains and evident pieces of food on it. I am bit skeptical to come back and eat at such an expensive area in the city! Photos attached for reference.

The food was fresh and tasty, we had an assortment of sides along with chicken and salmon for a work lunch...so good that I shared this place with family and brought leftovers home. So good.

Delicious and healthy meal (got the crispy chicken plate with veggies and farro), well-seasoned, and great service to boot as well. I'd come back for a quick lunch if I'm back in the area

Always missing something.. I am a big fan of this place as it is close to my workplace and usually order the same thing which is the custom protein bowl with 2 x salmon. Unfortunately, tonight was the last night I will be ordering from DIG because they can never get my order correct. They are always missing something and they never include utensils in an order even after specifying to include them. Tonight was the most egregious though, since they left out the extra salmon I always ask for. It seems this an ongoing issue with this place yet they don't seem to have any ways of addressing it? I mean how hard is it to include utensils, napkins and the food ordered?

Really quality food, guaranteed healthy, whole food ingredients and all reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the root vegetables and sweet potatoes. Salmon and chicken were cooked nicely as well. Mac and cheese was good but could really taste the healthiness of it which I guess for some is a good thing. Cauliflower had only a faint taste of cheese but also very yummy. Will be back!

Same fantastic food you expect from DIG but what sets this location apart is the customer service. David is the man and you can tell he really cares.

My first time ever trying Dig was today. Atmosphere was whatever, just another fast casual place. I ordered the hot honey chicken...and received no chicken? The woman taking my boyfriend and I's order even went over to a laminated sheet that I assume was to check how to make each bowl. The quality of ingredients was fine and the vegetables were seasoned well. I just can't get over the fact I spent $16 on mac n cheese, broccoli, and carrots...Next time I will just go to Cava or Chipotle instead.

UPDATE: They must have changed managers or something because they've turned this place around. I go here about weekly now and haven't had any problems with online orders.

So happy I stumbled upon this place while walking around the seaport district! The interior is super cute with some seating in the front. This is a build your own bowl type of place. I also love that you can order sides separately if you didn't want a bowl. I opted for the farmer bowl. This includes a base and 3 sides. You can add extra sides and protein for an extra cost. For the base, you can do 1/2 and 1/2! I did the greens and farro, which made for a very hearty base. I got the sweet potato, cauliflower, and Persian cucumbers as my sides. This bowl was absolutely delicious and SO filling. The food is fresh, and I love that I felt full in the best way possible. There are options for family meals, which I think is a fantastic idea! You can use their app to order if you want to just do pick up. They also do delivery with a $15 minimum, which I think is reasonable!

I got a classic dig bowl with 1/2 farro and 1/2 mixed greens, mac & cheese, charred broccoli, and salmon. Everything was so delicious! I loved that the veggies were not bland but nicely seasoned, and crisp and not soggy. It was difficult to choose just 2 veggie sides as they all looked delicious. The salmon was nicely cooked, and the salmon skin had a nice crisp to it. I left feeling satisfied both in portion and quality/health.

This place is incredible. I wish we had one in the Midwest. Traveling to Boston for two nights and might come back. The carrots and sweet potatoes are crispy and so good. The Brussels sprouts are amazing too.

Solid option for healthy, quick fare. Travels well too. Ordered the lentil and quinoa salad with chicken and avocado and enjoyed it. Could have used more greens, and the chicken was dry, but over all good.

Tasty and healthy bowls. Got delivery for lunch and it was just right. Just the right quantity for an average eater and left me feeling satisfied. When I'm too hungry, I add an additional appetizer. Else the bowl leaves me wanting more. Would buy again.

Shout out to David and the Seaport Dig In! the food is always hot and cooked to perfection. Even on a snowy Tuesday in the Seaport our food arrived on time, hot and delicious! Thank you David for always making it happen.

pretty standard overall. i wasn't huge on the quality of the chicken. pretty tasty & prices are reasonable. lots of different options. kinda loud inside. staff are nice.

I simply don't get it. I can understand the appeal of Sweetgreen, CAVA, other bowl places, but this place's allure just escapes me. I've gone twice to this same location and the food left me completely underwhelmed on both occasions. Both the chicken thigh pieces and chicken breast pieces are nothing special and the sides are literally externally burnt while being internally raw always. Also my chicken thigh chunks looked slightly undercooked as well and I refrained from even chewing down more than a few bites. The farro is OK I guess? I hate just having huge chunks of food in a bowl. Cut the chicken up ir something and rub it in some more spices, cut the potatoes up. I'll give them some points for the seasonal cornbread side since it was the only thing I liked.

New review this is my 2nd time order from Dig! I ordered 4 different side orders to try a variety of items. For my lunch break I tried Jasper Hill Mac & Cheese (Side), Herb Roasted Chicken (Side) Roasted Brussels Sprouts (Side), Grilled Tofu (Side)! Mac & cheese was so delicious, the herb chicken was so moist and tender really so good! Brussel sprouts was perfect wow. Grilled Tofu was really a surprise how good it was really loved every bite!

Absolutely terrible. Legendary levels of incompetence - unable to get basic group lunch orders right. Not a single bowl was correct. This is the second time. Never again

First time I try out this fast casual chain. Mainly build your own rice or salad bowls with your pick of base, veggies, protein, and sauce. The idea is good and the options are decent but they need to put more work on making sure the proteins are warm. My rice and veggies were hot and well seasoned but the charred chicken was somewhat cold. If anything should be warm it should be the chicken. Thankfully it seemed to be fully cooked. Overall the bowl tasted ok but could have been better.

We had seen so many Digs around Boston so decided it was something we ought to try! I really liked their veggie options - it made it so hard to decide which one to get! In the end, I got the farro, mint greens, eggplant, corn, and chicken thigh with garlic aioli on the side. I really enjoyed it and it was super filling! The workers also really packed in the toppings, which I appreciated. The workers were generally super nice, though their efficiency was lacking. Even though we were the only four people in the restaurant, it took quite some time for them to fill and check out our orders. Overall, though, I'm glad we gave this East Coast chain a try!

This place was just really kind of strange to be honest. I wasn't sure what the heck I was supposed to be building in a bowl, considering I had rice or lettuce, then all of a sudden an option for Mac and cheese in the mix. Then a choice of meat and tiny servings of sauce. I was like an odd "choose your destiny" kind of situation. Overall, service did go fast during peak lunch time. They had some chicken options and it wasn't overcooked and had some seasoning. Paired it with some rice, extra carbs on top of those and sweet potatoes. The Siracha sauce was a bit too odd for my but that garlic sauce was super good. (I think it was garlic) so give that one a go. This place was a bit too "lets be kichy with farm fresh vegan yaya yada" for my taste. But if you want a healthy option in the area and are into that calling your salad "greens" and are sick of Sweetgreen, then check it out. You won't be dissapointed at the end of the day and theres enough options that the bowl building is somewhat endless.

My favorite healthy build-your-own-bowl lunch/dinner option. I've visited a few times to try all the bases, sides, and proteins, and don't think I've ever gone wrong with any of them. For new folks - you can go to the counter and build your bowl with the following options: 1. Choose your base (yes, you can do half/half!) 2. Choose your two sides (or 3 if you're forgoing the protein) 3. Choose your protein 4. Choose your sauce (yes, you can try more than 1!) If you don't want to look silly contemplating in line, I suggest placing an order ahead of time on their app - or you can see a photo of all your options on there. Plus, they currently offer a signup and birthday credit for using the app's reward program :)

I love Dig/ Dig Inn. Even with a seasonal menu this place is consistently good. I order lunch on the app for our office it was ready within 10 mins and was still hot by the time I walked back. I got the make your own bowl with meatballs, cauliflower, Mac & cheese and brown rice. The portions are huge and probably the best bang for your you buck lunch in seaport. (My bowl was just under $10). The ingredients are farm to table and they have lots of delicious veggies options. I usually get Brussels sprouts but they're out of season . This is my first time getting the Mac and cheese and it beats out a lot of soul food spots. It was sooo good. And the sauces really elevate the meals to the next level. I suggest the pesto the garlic aioli or the rosemary vinegarette.

I ordered maple glazed tofu, brown rice, greens, and the mac. the tofu was fine. it wasn't disgusting but i wouldn't eat it again if i had a choice to eat anything else. the rice and greens were fine. there was some kind of sauce in the rice that i wasn't expecting and didn't really like but it was tolerable. the mac was horrific. idk how you can possibly mess up mac and cheese that badly but dig has done it! it's no exaggeration inedible. i took a few bites and i had to spit it out. the breadcrumbs are overspiced, the pasta is too small, and the cheese is just weird and bad. it also left an aftertaste that's made me a bit nauseous. overall nothing tasted good and there was nothing that i would eat again. im disappointed to say this too because i had heard such great things about this place. that's why i ordered a variety of food, i wanted to give it a fair shot. super disappointed. also, it arrived cold and they forgot my overpriced drink lol!!

Never been in-person to this location, but this is where my catering order for work came from. It was outstanding. Definitely consider Dig for office catering! Veg-friendly and sooo good. The brussels are my fav!

This place was super rude and didn't even give me my pickup order when I came. I don't understand how they let that woman be the manager. I had to get a refund though my app.

We were visiting from Seattle for a graduation and DIG was recommended to us. It was excellent and we went back a few times. The chicken is awesome and the cauliflower was exceptional. They really flavor the dishes creatively that really differentiate the eating experience.

Went for first time today. VERY GOOD. Might have a long line during prime lunchtime, but worth it, order ahead of time for pickup. Food is healthy, cooked awesome, and comes at a price better than a LOT with less quality products.

Got the kale Caesar bowl. It was so good. The tomatoes were so fresh. I loved the dressing and the crunchy peanuts that were scattered in there. Feels super healthy and is less expensive than sweetgreen.

This was a good find really close to where boyfriend works and super fast and convenient, I got the meatballs with cauliflower so yummy. He got the steak which I didn't think was as good but in general a solid fast place!

Used to be so much better. The salmon was inedible. Old and out too long. The farro used to have squash bits. Gone. Total bummer. It was my favorite go to healthy lunch option.
