I absolutely love DIG! The food is incredibly delicious, and you can really taste the quality and care in every bite—everything is made in-house, and the chefs are clearly talented. I’m especially impressed by the variety of vegan options, especially the flavorful sauces. Each side dish is packed with unique, standout flavors, making every meal feel special. It’s amazing to have such a quick and convenient way to enjoy truly nutritious food. I’m from Canada and can only hope DIG opens locations there one day— but it’s my go-to spot whenever I visit! On top of that everyone is super friendly! I dig it!

First time but won’t be my last. Staff took the time to explain all the options they offer. Food was fantastic. Great flavor while maintaining the healthy aspects I was looking for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a quick healthy meal in. Will definitely be back!

My son visiting saw this location and invited us to have lunch. Unique food with plenty of it. Chicken, vegetables all tasty. Will visit next time in New York.

Got to check out Dig on Brimfield Drive, and I have to say--it did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their ingredients and flavors. I tried the beef and potatoes, and it was so well-seasoned and hearty--definitely something I'd order again. The ginger lemonade mocktail? Bomb! So refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. What I really love about this place is how their food feels both wholesome and satisfying without being too heavy. One of the highlights of my visit was getting to make my own focaccia--such a fun, hands-on experience, and taking it home made it even better! I think they don't actually offer for you to make it but they have their focaccia that already made for you. We went to a special event that allows us to do that. And let's not forget dessert--it was somewhere between a brownie and fudge chocolate, super rich and the perfect sweet ending. Overall, Dig is a solid spot whether you're dining in or grabbing food to-go. The flavors, the atmosphere, and the quality ingredients make it a place worth coming back to. Can't wait for my next visit!

Google
I’ve visited DIG a couple of times and tried a variety of items from their menu. Here’s my take: Positives: -The flourless brownie is absolutely delicious, though for the price, the portion feels a little small. -Both the maple glazed crispy tofu and crispy chicken are standout dishes. Perfectly cooked and flavorful! -Roasted sweet potatoes are perfectly seasoned and tender,a great addition to any meal. -The sauces and dressings they offer are all top-notch and really enhance the flavors of the dishes. -Portion sizes for the whole meal are great for the price—you definitely feel like you get your money’s worth. -There’s a lot of customization available, making it easy to create a meal that fits your preferences. Plus, ordering through the app is super convenient, and the rewards program is a nice bonus. Negatives: -The mac and cheese was quite bland-definitely room for improvement in terms of flavor. -The mashed potatoes were tasty but very greasy, which feels out of place considering the brand’s focus on healthy food. -The farro greens were a bit of a letdown-chewy and lacking in flavor. -The broccoli chunks are huge and I wish they were cut in bite sized pieces. -The focaccia bread was chewy and nothing exceptional. -One downside with to-go orders: salads get soggy by the time you’re ready to eat them. Overall, DIG has a lot of great offerings, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.

Google
Absolutely scrumptious seasonal food that you can customize to your cravings. The food feels fresh, creative, and flavorful, while being affordable. I love that I can get a bowl with protein and a lot of veggies. My husband loves the mac and cheese. And the sauce selection is wonderful.

Google
First time trying this spot. Clean and healthy food. Next time I’d get the sauce on the side. Herb pesto is strong in flavor.

The Munch Travelogue

Google
This was my second time trying their offerings and I’m glad to report that the food was just as tasty as the first time. I went straight for the seasonal menu and ordered the Salmon Harvest bowl which came with their signature grains, a side of salad, roasted sweet potatoes and a generous portion of salmon. The dressing I chose was the cashew Cesar and immediately wished they sold this by the bottle. The meal was not complete until I paired it with the Ginger Lemonade. The sparkling drink gives you the write balance of sweetness and bite. It’s almost too good to just drink only one bottle.

Yelp
My family and I love Dig! It tastes like home cooking but better and without the mess. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. They were out of carrots one time and made them fresh just for me; it only took a few minutes. We alternate between the family meals and individual meals. I especially love the carrots, they are the best carrots I've ever had! A slight sweetness and perfect texture. Some options are definitely better than others, but you can't go wrong at Dig.

Yelp
I've been missing the fast casual, fresh, small batch meals that we used to get at Urban Plates in Tysons Galleria. When I saw they opened a Dig in Ashburn I made a note to make the trip to visit. Well, finally we get the opportunity for a weekday dinner and head over to One Loudon (located next to Trader Joe's.) First appearance it looks clean and well kept. Not many folks there for dinner and we are greeted by a friendly gentleman asking what we'd like to order. He proceeds to explain several of the side dishes to the wife. I already know what I would like - the Classic Dig with chicken breast. Comes with brown rice, charred broccoli and sweet potatoes with a garlic aioli sauce. Fresh, nice combo of protein, veggies, and starch makes for a good meal. I'd say healthier than your typical meal. Open one in the Reston area and we'll be regulars. Good stuff!

Yelp
Looks better than it tastes :-/ I've been eyeing this restaurant for a few weeks and finally dropped in for a post workout meal. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and it was obvious that my server was ready to go home. I quickly crafted my bowl....a Kale Caesar salad with salmon and a side of roasted sweet potatos and roasted lemon broccoli...and got out of the way :-/ The Kale salad was soggy, the salmon was cold, and the broccoli was SUPER salty - my fingers are swelling as I type. The sweet potatos were good, but not enough to carry the meal. Overall I'm disappointed. On the bright side, the venue is cute! It's a family-friendly vibe with special tables/seating for kids. The price is fair and the portion sizes are decent.

Yelp
This is a healthier alternative to Chipotle and Mezeh's type of build-a-bowl spot. From my understanding, some of the menu items here are seasonal while most of it stays the same. I love how ALL of the options offered here are well thought out to be more on the health-conscious side. It felt kind of like the salad bar at Whole Foods except DIG has its unique taste. I felt good after having a DIG bowl like I was having all the healthy energy. (It could also be my mind playing tricks on me but I did feel good!) I wish it was a bit closer to me because I'd be coming here more often. How does it work? You walk up to build a bowl like you'd at any Chipotle or Mezeh. Then you pick a base like brown rice, farro (which was new to me!), and some greens. Then, you pick two sides like sweet potatoes, carrots, beans, avocado, etc. Next, you pick a protein. The seasonal chicken they had was so delicious! You can also get a third side to replace your protein. Drizzle your favorite sauce and that's it! Depending on your choices, it'll cost you just $10 to $15. Whole Food bar can't beat DIG! I saw some comments complaining about the staff but I had absolutely no issue. The plywood-based setup shouldn't work but it's somehow okay and fits the place just fine. Don't forget to try their ginger mint lemonade and the carrot cake. I heartily recommend it!

Yelp
After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is cook. DIG offers delicious options to satisfy any palate. My favorite is the herb roasted chicken, sweet potato and charred broccoli. I tried the Mac and cheese for the first time and it was good. It's a very unique texture with the breadcrumbs on top. I normally go for water but this time they had a ginger lemonade, which paired nicely with my meal. The food is freshly made and affordable. Perfect for family dinner. The staff was welcoming and made suggestions. The dining room was spacious with lots of seating. It felt very inviting. I plan on making this my go to place when I want comfort food without the fuss.

Yelp
DIG - Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfect for a Busy Saturday! Stopped by DIG on a Saturday, just in time for a surprise puppy parade passing by! The place was lively but not packed, so we ordered through the app to skip the line and try a few things. We went all-in with three hot honey crispy chicken sandwiches and a hot honey chicken plate, wanting a little variety to share. First impressions? The food looked fresh, wholesome, and definitely on the healthier side. Each sandwich was packed with crispy, tender chicken, and that hot honey drizzle brought just the right mix of sweet and spicy. It's the kind of sandwich that feels like comfort food but doesn't weigh you down. The hot honey plate was a nice change-up, with perfectly cooked chicken over grains and greens -- filling but still light. For $20 a person (with a voucher) plus a small extra charge, we got two entrees each -- pretty amazing for quality and quantity. DIG hit the mark with flavorful, feel-good food, and getting to enjoy it all while watching a parade of adorable pups was a bonus. If you're around on a weekend, DIG is a must for anyone wanting a fresh, satisfying meal without the guilt.

Yelp
I'm really glad Dig is here to replace the Zoe's Kitchen. I often go to the Trader Joe's next door, so this is conveniently located. I love the idea that these ingredients are "mindfully sourced" and contain quality ingredients. I opted to get the Vegan classic dig and Salmon harvest bowl to go during my first visit. Although my sister and I really enjoyed both bowls, we found it to be somewhat over seasoned. The salmon harvest bowl comes with a small side salad, and I thought it was overdressed, therefore, it was a bit soggy. Otherwise, the service was quick and friendly. There is plenty of seating inside and everything looks fairly clean (considering they are brand new, that is to be expected). I would definitely give this spot another try and opt to make my own bowl instead.

Yelp
Ambiance: Simple and Clean interiors. They have really cute merch to buy. Staff is very friendly and helped me understand all the food options they have. Food: we had the crispy chicken bowl with cashew salad and Mac and cheese . We got another bowl with grilled chicken and Mac and cheese. I am a fan of their Mac and cheese, it is so unique compared to all the other places. Also the Cashew kale salad is delicious. I prefer grilled chicken over the crispy chicken as I found it a tad oily. Over all great place. Will go back to try their tofu and Fish options soon. Parking: there is ample shared parking in front of the store. Dog friendly: Their patio is dog friendly.

Yelp
First came here for an event and felt this place was awesome but just needed a touch more seasoning, and they definitely delivered this time! Dig has a phenomenal selection of health options that anyone can enjoy. I tried the hot honey chicken and it was amazing! The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the whole bowl comes together nicely. I also tried the garlic aioli and it's not an overpowering flavor and pairs nicely with the bowl. I opted to try the carrot cake and it was sooo good! Definitely try this place out if your looking for a quick bite that won't cost alot and is also nutritious.

Yelp
DIG is a casual spot good for lunch or dinner. I've been here a few times and it's always been a good experience. The staff is nice and the space is bright and open. I normally make my own bowl because I like the customization. There's nothing amazing about the veggies, the protein and sauces make up the flavor of your bowl. The charred and crispy chickens are nicely flavored and travel well. You get exactly what you expect from here! A small thing is that I wish the food was cut smaller simply for ease when eating. All the veggies are left close to whole and the crispy chicken is one large piece of chicken in the bowl. It's just inconvenient if you're looking for a quicker lunch or if you want to get all the components in one bite.

Yelp
We stopped by to pick up dinner for three. The store is like chipotle but with a novelty and without the long lines or food preparers rushing you like they do at Chipotle. We ordered a chicken, a steak and a salmon bowl and they all tasted pretty good. Needless to say the food is more expensive than chipotle.

Yelp
**Ate on September 15, 2024** Food 4/5 - I got the maple glazed tofu as the main protein, sides of mac & cheese and roasted carrots on a bed of brown rice. Everything was cooked well and tasted good, but unfortunately a 4/5 because the sides were disappointing: carrots were over seasoned and the mac & cheese was bland. Service 3/5 - Service was friendly, however I noticed that the "for here" plates were dirty (the sides of the plates were crusty and smudged). There needs to be more attention to detail there. - Note: since it's a fast casual restaurant, most of it is self-service and you can get your own (water) drinks and utensils. Ambiance 5/5 - No complaints with regards to the ambiance. Overall minimalistic but nice. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
First time at Dig and WOW! This place nails the vibe of seasonal comfort food with a fast-casual twist. You can build your own bowls or pick one of their curated special bowls. The modern, green interior with wood seating creates a fresh, earthy feel--and yes, there's an open kitchen so you can watch all the cooking magic happen! Here's what I tried: -Chicken Tray Bake: Juicy, flavorful chicken paired with apple and kale over pickled onions and farro. It was everything you want in a cozy, savory dish. -Crispy Chicken Bowl: A delightful mix of farm greens (with a pop of mint!), sweet potato, mac and cheese, and a drizzle of vegan ranch. Fresh, savory, and seriously satisfying. -Charred Chicken Bowl: Packed with brown rice, sweet potato, creamy avocado, and gooey mac and cheese, all tied together with a pesto drizzle. Talk about flavor overload! -Ginger Lemonade: So refreshing! Not too sweet, just the right amount of zing to keep things light. -Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie: OMG. Freshly baked with gooey chocolate chunks and a sprinkle of sea salt. Perfect balance of sweet and salty! There are so many options and combos to try--I'll definitely be back to explore more! The seasonal aspect is super cool, and the menu changes often, keeping things exciting. The cook and staff were friendly and patient during my first visit. If you're into fresh, fast, and flavorful food, Dig is a must-try!

Yelp
This review is from the soft opening. It definitely a work in progress. Service was good but inconsistent with others. The chicken said blackened but wasn't. Grains done well. Carrots done perfectly but over spiced. On a side note the minimalist interior had booths made of plywood and the chairs uncomfortable. I will return soon to see if they improve.

Yelp
Great food and pick up experience. The restaurant was clean and irder was ready when we arrived. The employees were friendly and working hard in the kitchen. The food was SO good! We got the family charred chicken dinner with kale salad and also added a large side of the herb rice and everything was delicious. The cheesy cauliflower, sheet pan carrots, tomato cucumber salad, and roasted Street corn were all perfect. The chicken was flavorful and not dry. A great deal for the amount of food and variety. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place, visited on the weekend with my kids and honestly all the food was good from the salmon to the crispy chicken, all the sides from the carrots, Mac and cheese, salad and the rice as well as all the sauces which tastes fresh my favorite was the honey hot sauce. Will definitely be back to try their other options.
google avatar

Shelly A.

Yelp
The food consistently hits the mark. Five out of five! Staff are welcoming, service is fast and friendly and well, I already told you... it's fabulous. I found this place though a yelp elite event and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Try it out and see for yourself. I have had the salmon, steak and the chick thighs, all were exceptional. The roasted sweet potatoes are wedges, perfectly cooked and sweet. Brussel sprouts and the cucumber & tomatoes are some of my favorite sides. Makes your own bowl or select one that that has been perfectly curated. Seriously, get over here!
google avatar

Yelp
I got introduced to Dig through a Yelp event but I've made multiple stops here since then and the food has been great consistently. Service is always friendly and fast and the inside of the restaurant is pretty clean looking. I have ordered multiple build your own bowls and the charred chicken or the hot honey chicken with any of the sides (my favorites are a combination of the mac and cheese, broccoli, or carrots) with half farro/half greens, and vegan ranch and hot honey for the sauce. I also always get the focaccia too. We've also tried the crispy chicken and salmon and they were both delicious as well. Everything is so well seasoned and delicious you really can't go wrong and it doesn't have to feel guilty. It's one of the best healthy 'fast food' spots in the area.

Yelp
Came here on Friday night. I guess because it's new, it's not busy at all. I do like the choices and the sides are definitely interesting. If you want to mix up your QSR routine, give Dig a try.

Yelp
I've ordered here a few times now....once for a Yelp event, once through Too Good to Go & once for my office lunch. the food here is delicious, well seasoned & cooked. they have the same style of customizing your own bowl (or as they call it a plate). you get one base, two sides and one protein. anything else is extra. I placed a huge order for my office lunch & a few things were not correct like giving the wrong sides and what not, but they didn't seem to care too much. everyone raved about how delicious the food was - how fresh everything tasted. they cannot wait to place another order with them, but I think I'll have to order in person for these larger orders. when I ordered for the Yelp event, I ordered a regular bowl with tofu and a kids meal for my two year old son. teh kids meal is interesting as you can customize it however you want, plus you get a side of grapes or apples depending on your preference. my son ate the chicken up, but didn't care too much for the rice. he enjoyed the mac and cheese, but the apples weren't a big hit for him. he typically isn't a picky eater, but I guess this plate wasn't a big hit for him unless it was just mac and cheese! they're consistent with their food which helps. I can't wait to go back - it helps that they're located next to Trader Joe's so I just walked around for a bit while my food was still being assembled.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful from the moment we stepped in the door! Employees were friendly and ready to answer questions regardless of how many we asked and that we never seemed ready to order. Cashier was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to explain the other items for sale to accompany the bowl and tray selections. We placed our order and picked up our tap water and sat down to await the dinners. The Focaccia was ready at the time of payment so we enjoyed that as we waited for my Chicken Tray to finish in the oven. The service staff were very attentive to the dining area as well as the restrooms and we enjoyed a clean, well organized eating establishment. I went up to the counter to pick up our bowls which were loaded and looking fantastic! As we dug into them the freshness of the ingredients that the chef presented was outstanding. Everything worked well together including the accompanying sauce that the chef drizzled over our food. Love the fact that they have a chef on staff out front in the kitchen overseeing the operation. The Hot Honey bowl was colorful as well as flavorful and the seasonal Chicken tray bake was equally outstanding. This place truly shows the excellent in service, mirrored with high quality ingredients prepared with creativity, drive and passion. Highly recommend Dig and plan on returning very soon!

Yelp
Perfectly amazing healthy meal that would be great option for lunch or quick grabs for family dinner! Of course, i took some friends with me. Love that DIG is located right across a parking garage which is easy to just drop by, oick up and leave without making a long walk. This store is deff is the definition of convenient! You can order to go and pick up the order to avoid waiting in line! I got a plate of the salmon, rice and also broccolli along with some roadted potato and additional honey glazed tofu! My friends fot kale apple salad salmon and my other friend got kale apple salad, brocolli and charred chicken! I love the refreshing kale apple salad, very flavorful and not too much seasoning at all! Service was amazing, food was greatly flavor with their many custom choice of sauces. Broccolli are crunchy and roasted potatoes are sweet and perfectly roasted! Restaurant is not crowded at all and lots of room and space!
google avatar

Yelp
This relatively new location is a more protein-focused chain compared to Sweetgreens. Focusing on whole foods such as rice and yummy veggies like roasted potatoes and carrots, they also make really good sauces. The Ginger Pumpkin Salmon Plate was like a ginger sweet curry on the salmon, and it was grilled well. Protein to carb ratio can be better, but for the price point, it's a solid and affordable lunch option once in a while.
google avatar

Rhonda A.

Yelp
I've only had the treat of experiencing Dig in New York City, so I was very happy to see this location! The food is delicious and consistent. Awesome alternative to less healthy fast food. Just found one of my new favorite spots!!

Aya R.

Yelp
I wish this could be a no star review. The food is nothing special and overpriced. The restaurant was dirty when I dined in. Customer service is horrible. Attitude coming from every employee.
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Got three sides the green rice & lettuce, crispy chicken, mac & cheese. Garlic aïoli and Sriracha came in little ramekins. I asked for an extra aïoli. The crispy chicken was really tasty and satisfying with that crispy skin, but I wish I was eating at cava cause this ball just didn't pack the same amount of flavor, and the mac & cheese was good, but I'd rather Chick-fil-A all in all, I really don't see myself going back or craving this place. I'd rather a really good kebab place.
google avatar

Kerstin H.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely amazing. Met my best friend here for a dinner date. The staff were really nice and explained how the menu worked. We both got the create your own bowl. I got the Salmon with the farro, brussel sprouts, and the tomato and cucumber salad. My friend got the tofu, roasted carrots, and the tomato and cucumber salad as well. We split a piece their cheese focaccia bread and that was goof as well. They make the bowls in front of you which is nice. Very good experience and we will definitely be going back.

Lydia A.

Yelp
The chicken was RAW. I've never felt so sick in my life. The service is also terrible (manager included). I also saw two other people go up to the manager and show them their food.

Yelp
Hot honey charred chicken was delicious - moist and hit the spot for sure, very mild spice level. Sides included broccoli carrots and mac and cheese. Broccoli and carrots were seasoned and flavorful. Mac and cheese was fine but I'm not a fan of whole wheat pasta in general. Would definitely recommend. Large portion sizes. Reliable and timely service per my app order estimates. Friendly employees behind the counter. Can't wait to try other items!

Yelp
I came here on the Yelp Elite week with a $20 voucher and I must say that having that amount was enough for a whole meal. I had the hot honey chicken bowl and a slice of carrot cake. The food tasted so earthy and refreshing. The decor was nice too, gave me farmhouse kitchen vibes. The food tasted like everything was made with whole fresh ingredients made by hand. It's also next to the Trader Joes and the gym I use so I will definitely be frequenting Dig cause I dig it :)

Yelp
When here after seeing positive reviews for lunch today, my son got the hot honey chicken sandwich and mac & cheese, which he loved the wife and I both got to make her own bowl. I did brown rice, broccoli, carrots, and brussels sprouts, with chicken and the garlic aïoli and a side of Sriracha sauce phenomenal can't wait to go back if you're looking for a healthy chipotle style you pick your own protein and sides. This place is it

Yelp
I love the food. Hearty and healthy. I have always gotten orders to-go. Staff are friendly!

Yelp
Terrible service. I loved this place when they opened and was very excited to have them in the neighborhood. But we went last week and the service was really bad. They were at best uninterested in serving us and really were downright rude. They didn't greet us, one lady stood at the counter where you order in her phone and didn't respond even after we waited a while and then said excuse me several times. She finally looked up and told us she was on break. The other lady seemed angry we were there (it was 8p on a Tuesday!). I tried to leave feedback and was answered by a very concerned bot who assured me this was unacceptable and I'd get a call back but I never did. We won't be going back, which is a shame. UPDATE: despite contacting customer service as requested below no one ever responded, just an AI text every two weeks (this must be on a timer, I only complained once ;) ) saying someone would be in touch. Do better Dig!

Yelp
I'm excited that this concept has arrived at One Loudoun Shopping Center. It's a fantastic addition to healthy food choices. I love that they have hearty items like broccoli, sweet potatoes, carrots, and meatballs that are perfect for the fall and upcoming winter seasons.

Yelp
Checked them out for the first time yesterday and made a repeat visit less than 24 hours later. Super nice staff. SUPER FRESH FOOD. They were naming the farms where the produce was sourced from which is crazy. The charred sweet potatoes are very tasty. Also considering the quality of the food, and it being in One Loudoun very reasonable pricing! If you're trying to eat a little better and not pay a kidney to do so this place is at least worth a visit once.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst tasting cold food. Did not know Mac and cheese was supposed to be brown! Could not even eat it. The people working were so F'ing rude. Don't wast your time!! If I had the option for negative stats, I would give a negative 5.

Welcome to Loudon county Virginia!! Delicious and healthy ! First time I tried DIG was in Georgetown Washington DC, which I fell in love and I was very happy to see that there opened there one loud location .

Yelp
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G food, quality ingredients & friendly service. It is next to Trade Joe's One Loudoun. Tried the Kale salad with garlic dressing, it is mouth watering, great portion & delicious. The carrot cake, super moist, and the GINGER MINT LEMONADE with Agave, what a great find!. We are hooked, can't wait to return. Everything is fresh, many items made on premises, prices are reasonable, fast service. A top notch regular menu that changes with the four seasons. I liked that vegan guests will find many options as well. A hit!

Yelp
Came in at noon on a Saturday, it was not very crowded, and staff acted annoyed we were even there. We should have left then, but decided to order only to find out the food was cold and something we could have made at home. We will not be returning.

Yelp
A good quick meal. Head to the front, pick your base, protein and toppings and pay. I enjoyed my meal. Service was friendly. A nice quick alternative to pizza, Tex-mex and Mediterranean.

Yelp
Staff was super friendly and kind. Had the make your own bowl...had and loved the farro and the brussel sprouts..with roasted chicken, a side of mac n cheese, and focaccia. Loved, loved all but the mac n cheese...it looks great, just didn't have the right flavor...everything else was awesome! Looking forward to going back soon!
