Dig - Midtown - Review - New York - The Infatuation

"Is Dig Inn the worst? No, Dig Inn is not the worst. Is Dig Inn the best? No - it’s like you haven’t even been reading this guide (it’s all about settling). At Dig Inn, you choose a protein, a grain, and two sides. Mac & cheese is extra, but it doesn’t even taste like cheese, so f*ck that mac & cheese anyways. There are definitely some odd flavor combos going on here, and the dishes are mostly hit and miss. But this is where you go if you just want a few scoops of warm food that might be healthy. Also, for Midtown, the decor is really just, wow - we know where we’re having our next NPR-listening party. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"Dig Inn’s philosophy is “farm to counter,” which means that they serve sustainably sourced, usually local food in a casual setting and in a price range that makes it a reasonable option for everyday lunch. The salads and the market plates are easy to take back to the office (or home for dinner), and the menu changes with the seasons, so you won't ever be bored with the offerings. There are locations in Morningside Heights, Union Square, Tribeca, and in Midtown on 52nd, Madison, and 55th, in Lower Manhattan on Pine, Liberty, and Broad St., in Nomad, and off Madison Square Park."

Google
Really great spot! The food at DIG is super tasty — fresh, flavorful, and you can really smell all the good ingredients as soon as you walk in. The service was awesome too, everyone was really nice and helpful. Plus, it’s super easy to order ahead through their app, which is super convenient if you’re in a rush. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Absolutely loved this place! The food is fresh, flavorful, and healthy without compromising on taste. Great variety of options for all dietary preferences. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Google
I usually have great experiences with DIG, but this location didn’t meet my expectations based on prior experiences. The last time I had DIG from another location, the chicken was tender and the Mac and cheese was probably some of the better mac and cheese I’ve had in a long time. However, I did not have the same experience with this location: chicken was dry and the Mac and cheese was overcooked/mushy and the breadcrumbs on top were mixed into the Mac and cheese rendering it not crispy anymore.

Michael Dunlap

Google
Had the BBQ Brisket Plate. Quality ingredients, pretty tasty, and easy to get in and out of the restaurant. There's basically nowhere to sit inside, however, so plan on taking out.

Google
Food is 10/10. Lady at the counter was super nice and patient with me since it was my first time there and I wasn’t sure about what I wanted to get. Place is super chill and clean!

Jennifer Luu

Google
Tried out the new nashville hot chicken sando! Staff is super friendly!

Brian Romero

Google
I had the chili lime Brussels those were extremely salty but I guess everyone has their own preferences so I rated a 3 out of 5 because of that, the crispy chicken needed to be a bit more cooked I didn’t really like seeing or tasting any kind of gooey texture. Service was great they attended me as soon as possible I give the atmosphere a 4 because it’s pretty chilled, the people who are around there are hard working so I can see that this a regular go to spot for them, I ended up cleaning the table I was sitting at and from my knowledge of working in previous fast food spots if someone is done eating you quickly clean the tables but I can’t bash anyone to hard for that plus I don’t mind cleaning my table. Still gotta give it a 4 tho

Amazing food!! I highly recommend the hot honey chicken!!❤️❤️❤️

Yelp
ORIGIN: DIG, originally founded by Adam Eskin as Dig Inn Seasonal Market, first emerged in New York City in 2011. Since then an expanding network has dotted the eastern United States, extending as far as south as Virginia. LOCATION: This location is on New York's East 52nd Street and is only open on weekdays. CONCEPT: DIG serves creatively seasoned, nourishing American home style food in a fast food, plant forward format. AMBIANCE: This location lacks a design aesthetic compared to other DIG locations. Outside of the pale pistachio tabletops, the counter of many nearly empty Staub pots, poorly lit kitchen, and plain walls brought to mind the starkness of a hospital cafeteria. FOOD: As always since I was first introduced to DIG last year during a Connecticut Yelp experience, DIG is a destination I look out for when traveling and looking for a quick, nourishing, and flavorful dinner. I was staying in midtown for a couple of days to accompany a friend as her husband underwent a complex heart surgery. Picking up dinner and bringing back to hotel room kitchen was ideal for our situation. That said, this location appears to get little business in the evening, likely primarily serving the decreased population of people who "work from office". As a result, it was clear in both appearance and taste that the chicken had been kept warm for some time, as it was not as moist as chicken dishes I have experienced at other locations. The custom bottled ginger mint lemonade appeared to have been sitting around too long as it was beginning to ferment. I did get to try the chocolate chip cookie as a gift from the person who worked the register on one of the nights. This appeared to be in effort to make up for the wait as the kitchen prepared mashed potatoes for the new crispy Chicken & Ranch plate I looked to try. The cookie was attractive and chewy, with flavor amplified with a sprinkle of salt flakes on the top. SERVICE: The service I experienced at this location was neither informative nor enthusiastic. The person taking my order was unable to tell me about the new chicken plates that were being promoted... just stared at me as if asking about the dishes was unusual. It seems this location may experience less interaction with customers due to popularity of pick up orders. TIPS: Restaurants that had primarily served office workers in many cities have been negatively impacted by the pandemic and subsequent normalization of "work from home". Looking at pre-pandemic photos of this DIG location suggests lines and filled dining tables. As this location does not appear to have fast turn around of dish components in the evening, I suggest choosing from the salad menu, such as the Avo Grain Bowl, at this location and choosing the online order/pick up arrangement. As I will be reviewing two other DIG locations this week, the variation of customer experience will be apparent. This is likely informed by available space and demographics of customers served, but may also reflect uneven or non-standardized operations. Anticipate this variation when choosing a DIG location. Despite these variations, you can expect a fast and generous dinner for a reasonable price (around $13 per person, without beverage). DIG offers catering. I plan on ordering a lunch from DIG during an educational/networking event I am planning at MIT this summer.

Yelp
I have a lot of dietary restrictions and I can always find something to eat at Dig. I've never had a bad experience at any of the locations.

Yelp
Built my own bowl, twice. the good: - kale caesar salad - sheet tray carrots - sweet potato the eh: - chicken (smelled chickeny) - lemon and herb farro (way too strong herb taste... maybe too much rosemary?) the BAD: - salmon -- dry, rubbery, insult to salmon everywhere the verdict: - i'd go again for an easy healthy lunch, because i have no standards

Yelp
I saw this place and was pretty excited to try it for lunch, but unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment. The ordering process was rather confusing, as they didn't have labels for what each of the ingredients were, and the servers themselves seemed confused and unable to answer questions. As for the food, I did really enjoy the flavors in the bowl and the sauces, and the salmon was tender and delicious. However, they limit you two sides, a base, and a protein, and the price to add another side is pretty hefty (I think iirc $3 per extra addition). You get more value at places like CAVA where you pay the same amount, but can get unlimited toppings and really load up your bowl.

Natosha C.

Yelp
I went the Prince St. Location in NYC. I had the roasted sweet potatoes, Broccoli and Greek salad. Everything was tasty and fresh! Loved it.

Yelp
I hate to have to give dig a review like this but this location has been a huge let down. Their portion sizes being the reason for all frustrations. Sentiments are the only thing keeping people from realizing how awful Dig is becoming, at least in Midtown. I remember my first dig inn experience, I bet most people do because Dig was once a great deal and always had the best, fresh, healthier food options; much better than other quick style spots for sure. That charred chicken bowl with all the sides and sauces, the nice staff slipping in a free cookie... man, it was unbelievable! Those days are done- I havent been to many other locations in a while and Midtown being my home, I've ordered from this location 3-5 times, friends have too... I'm sad to report that $6 gets you half a small chicken breast, or two broccoli stems... while $16 gets you a bowl of rice with an equal amount of chicken and a sparse looking portion of whichever side you choose; they skimp on the sauce and overcharge for every single thing on the menu. The mac and cheese is dry af which is a shame because it would be great with some cheese sauce... he'll, give me Wendy's Gruyère sauce on top. The charred chicken typically comes with at least one inedible piece I give to the dog. The meatballs (best option on the menu) are small and come three to an order but always have at least one hard bit somewhere in the mix; (the sauce is fantastic but it's hot or miss how much you get of that) The bbq chicken can only be ordered as a side I believe and it's the yummy charred thigh with a tasty bbq sauce ... I enjoyed it The sweet potatoes and CA trots are both great and simple. The "best ever potato salad" - didn't eat it, instead I put it in the food processor with roasted garlic and stirred it in to a pot of instant mashed potatoes... so no, it's not so great as is. The burrata and tomatoes are good, I'm not sure it's worth the price and the same goes for the tasty feta watermelon The steak salad... needs more steak You get the pattern, I'm sure. I've tried almost everything they have to offer, even they're tasty ginger lemonade, and it's clear to me what the deal is (or lack there of) The portions don't fit the price tag, the quality, at least here, isn't what it used to be... and while it all seems to be the same food, it's not the same experience I once coveted in this city. I think they need more options when ordering too, like, if you have a steak salad, where on earth is the option to order the steak, or the cucumbers, or habanero mango dressing separately? Why can't I make a steak and tomato burrata dish for $75 I know prices went up for suppliers, i grocery shop, I get it, but this is actual robbery. You'll see. I have my secret jacks here though for sure....

Yelp
Cane here because we couldn't find anything we liked that was open. Their selection of chicken dishes is pretty good, and service was decent, We might be back.

Kammi L.

Yelp
Obsessed with DIG. Great place to pick up lunch. The team at the location is attentive and always checks to make sure I get my order as soon as possible. Would recommend to order on the app or online for pick up because the lines gets pretty long during long hours. Would skip the flourless brownie, a little too salty. My order: Farm greens with mint, roasted sweet potatoes, cauliflower with garlic and parmesan, hot honey chicken, garlic aioli, cashew caesar dressing
google avatar

Cory L.

Yelp
Probably a three star when reviewed by New Yorkers-- and it's definitely lost some of its luster from earlier Digg Inn days. But success is tough master. They are a workhorse for the worker set, with long lines forming around lunch and dinner breaks, a generally efficient to go system, but the basic premise works: usually delicious proteins, healthy veggies, and fresh-ish options. Drinks have declined in options, and the amnesties, too. But for a quick healthy meal you can call this your backup friend: reliable, always available, and usually good for you.

Helen H.

Yelp
Staff is very rude compared to other Dig locations. Portion size is also smaller and inconsistent.
google avatar

Novella N.

Yelp
Dig Inn has always been one of my favorite spots for picking up lunch. Note: the lines can get long so order on the app so you don't spend your break waiting. I've never had a bowl I didn't like. Get the macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes and thank me later.
google avatar

Meghna S.

Yelp
Not sure what the positive reviews are for. I paid $15 for this bowl. I had requested half farrow and half greens as the base. The bowl literally had five green leaves and two spoons of farrow, roasted veggies as requested and a small piece of dried salmon. It was made by someone who perhaps has been doing a crash course on saving cents. Have never seen a more ridiculous bowl from Dig and I have been a regular customer.
google avatar

Jiayi L.

Yelp
Sadly Dig is going down on my list. I have tried it a few times and it wasn't bad but just today I went to get a side and brownie and was very disappointed in the quantity. Overall their food tastes good but I would say the amount given is not worth the price. I got a side of broccoli which looks great in the photos on the menu and filled up but in reality was less than half of the bowl. Def not worth $5. I also got the brownie and for something that is almost $3 was expecting it to be thicker and at least a good size square. Their coupons overall are good and help but still almost not worth it.
google avatar

Jay A.

Yelp
I love this place have for years. But what I saw with the girl at the register calling people out for not tipping was just atrocious behavior. I will not be going back to this location if at all possible.

Frank G.

Yelp
Great taste but decide before you go what you want. Servers pleasant but not helpful I don't think they know food options well.

Selena R.

Yelp
This place is always consistent. Good quality, great flavors, portions good. Hot sauce is great on the herb chicken. The flourless brownie is my favorite end to the meal. Must try!
google avatar

Danielle T.

Yelp
Hot honey chicken was so good, with and without the extra sauce. Veggies had a tad too much seasoning but still an amazing meal.
google avatar

Jigar D.

Yelp
I was in Vegetarian food heaven so many options I was amazed I had a healthy filling kale, sweet potatoes, tofu and farroo bowl it was just yummm I would recommend this place to try their healthy food options

Akash M.

Yelp
location is the best out of all them! max is your guy. great food and layout. very quick service
google avatar

Fangfei L.

Yelp
Although initially skeptical of the reviews, I now agree that Dig Inn has flavorful and healthy foods. I really enjoy getting the brussel sprouts (and I normally don't even like brussel sprouts) and sweet potato with my tofu bowl. I think that for the price, you get more than enough food. I appreciate the health farm-to-table concept and the multiple vegetarian options to choose from. I read some other reviews about Dig Inn having slow delivery. I've been ordering on Seamless and I haven't had a problem, although I'm fairly close to the restaurant. I would recommend at least trying this location out, just maybe not when it's super crowded at peak lunch hour.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
This place is always great, always busy too! But the staff is awesome. They make sure you're taken care of, great customer service. Please be mindful that they are busy but the quality of the food is always on point. I would like to thank one of the staff - J.P. he was very kind and walked around asking all the patrons how their food was. Thanks for taking the time to check up, especially when you're so busy. Appreciate the treat! Will be back again! No pics of food, I hadn't eaten in 6hours :(

J. Lawrence N.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try Dig Inn for awhile. We keep passing it, but never quite stoping in. And when we have, after a minute or two, we've left. Last night, a friend wanted to go, so I did. I get why people like this place. Healthy food -- or at least the pretense of healthy food, and it's part of the trends of quick eats, at reasonable prices. My friend loved it. I didn't like much anything. You first pick a base. I had rice. Then a protein, etc. I didn't care for the food. I hated water in a cardboard box, which I still don't get. The selection was eh. Service was good. I really can't see ever going back. But, that said, there is a market for it. And those who return really seem to like it.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Very good. Very fresh. I was shocked actually. What a great meal and a lot of food. I will def be back. I had rice Mac and cheese and kale Caesar all in a bowl. And it was brilliant. Don't ask me how it just was
google avatar

Diane J.

Yelp
I've been to Dig Inn over a dozen times, and I have single-handedly tried every single menu item that they offer. Am I a big fan? Yup. How Ordering Works Pick a base (rice, greens), pick a protein (charred chicken, herb chicken, salmon, meatballs, tofu), and pick 2 sides. Personal Favorites Roasted sweet potatoes - I'm biased because I love sweet potatoes, but Dig Inn also bakes them so well that they're always super soft with a bit of char. Charred Brussels with Honey-Chili Oil Sautéed Broccoli with Lemon Cauliflower with Garlic and Parmesan - I'm lactose intolerant but I'd eat this side dish any day Herb Roasted Chicken - personal favorite protein. The salmon tends to be a bit dry and bland. Extra History Dig Inn owns as 12-acre farm in New York, where they serve all of their grown produce within 48 hours of harvest. Dig Inn also buy from small-scale farms to support sustainable growing practices. Other practices include using ugly vegetables and using whole vegetables, from stem to leaf. The menu is seasonally-based, so they revamp the menu about 6 times a year.

Garry S.

Yelp
A bit too much salt. Good grill, seasoning, flavor. Friendly services. Efficient. But I had stomach issue all night. Too bad. I like how they used paper bowls.
google avatar

Ameena D.

Yelp
This is one of the few Dig Inn locations that is open for pick up and delivery during the current pandemic. There've been a few issues over the last few months - including receiving delivery with part of our order missing, etc. - but the manager has been apologetic about the small mistakes and even threw in free dessert a couple of times. Just want to commend this location on doing such a great job during this tough time!
google avatar

Bobby F.

Yelp
Although the food was good . I continue to miss items out of my order . 3 things/ items were missing in my last order
google avatar

Giacomo C.

Yelp
Yes, I'm a first timer. This chain has allures my taste buds for a while, and despite my hatred for chain-restaurants I finally decided to give it a try. I chose brown rice as the base, salmon as protein, kale and roasted carrots as vegetable options, and added avocado for an extra $1.50. The bowl was sizable and tasty. The salmon wasn't too dry, and the veggies very yummy. All for $13 including tax. I can totally see why this chain is so popular, especially for lunch. Now I'm a fan, too.
google avatar

Ayesha A.

Yelp
The food here is good but the lines are ridiculous. If you are coming here at lunch time don't be surprised to find the line out the door, literally. The best thing to do is to order your food online on their site before you come. You food will be waiting for you on the shelves when you get there and you'll feel very accomplished to have saved 15 minutes during your precious lunch hour.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the healthy and delicious options at Dig. I prefer to order in person but due to Covid I've been ordering my take out through various food delivery apps. I decided to give Uber Eats a try. When it didn't apply my Uber cash to the order, I quickly canceled the order and wanted to place another order with my Uber cash. I called the store and spoke with Megan who confirmed my order was cancelled. I was checking my emails and saw Uber Eats sent me a receipt that I've been charged for my order because my order was already started. I called back and Megan picked up again. I explained the situation to her and she said she will call Uber to find out. In the meantime I was heading that way and was going to drop by the store. By the time I arrived, Megan told me Uber couldn't do anything. She honored my cancelled order after seeing I was being charged. She went above and beyond to help me due to no fault on Dig's part. Because of the exceptional customer service I'm going to be ordering from this particular location from now on and NOT through Uber Eats! Thank you Megan!!!! You really made my night after a long day!

Yelp
First time eating at this chain and I wasn't impressed. Trying to eat healthy, and trying to eat healthy affordably is always a struggle in this city, but I don't think Dig Inn offers the solution. I built a bowl full of proteins and vegetables, ordered Chipotle-human-conveyor-belt-style. My salmon was completely overcooked, bone dry. The beets on the other hand were under-cooked, very hard, not appetizing. The cauliflower has raisins and capers, neither of which are my favorite thing and I didn't think the inclusion of both made any sense. The greens were wilted. The carrots were one of the bright spots, but were smeared with thick creamy harissa sauce that would have been fine if it hadn't been dumped on in such a large quantity. Also, nothing was warm. Maybe it's not supposed to be, but everything being at room temperature or even cold made the whole thing even more unappetizing. It was also $16, not exactly cheap considering the experience. The pesto sauce was nice, and service was friendly. I doubt I'll be trying this again.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of this fast casual / cafeteria style restaurant. You pick a base (farro squash, brown rice, salad), a protein, and sides. The proteins are so so but the sides knock out of the park. I love that I don't feel guilty about eating here like most places. The recipes seem "healthier." I ordered catering for my office and the food did not go over as well as some other "unhealthy" places. Guess it's not for everyone. Was recommended the kitchen sink cookie but found it dry and was not a fan.

Shan L.

Yelp
We tried a couple times, the best protein is lemon chicken and herb chicken, the best veggie is stir fried brussels sprout. However everything else seems either overcooked or under seasoned...
google avatar

Justine Z.

Yelp
Dig inn food it so good. If I'm in the mood for "healthy"/salad I prefer sweetgreen, but dig inn is more of a crowd pleaser since it had "healthier" options like the kale Caesar, and many veggies options, but also chicken, meatballs, and Mac and cheese for people who don't want salad. Everything I've had is good, but my fav dishes are the kale Caesar, chicken breast, and cauliflower.
google avatar

Thomas L.

Yelp
Stopped in for a fast quick nicely cooked, seasoned, and fresh quinoa with grilled tofu with sweet potato and kale sides. Bam.boom tasty and good!!!
google avatar

Michael Z.

Yelp
Stopped in here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the offerings. It's pretty basic, but incredibly filling and flavorful. Quinoa bowls are my obsession right now and I order one pretty much any chance I get. The place gets pretty crowded during the lunch rush but the line moved quickly from start to finish. Excellent lunch option.
google avatar

Angela H.

Yelp
I love dig inn for their veggies and many options, but their protein always falls short of my expectations. After experiencing rubbery chicken on more than one occasion, I began to order the salmon. That too was quite underwhelming and oddly chewy. Not very appetizing. Their veggies however are always well roasted and flavorful. In addition to the questionable meat, the wait time was absolutely horrendous. There wasn't a dinner rush at the time I went, and I understand that many of their items require a longer cook time, but it seemed to be more of an issue of inefficiency and lack of urgency. It took 30min for me to get through a line of 5, and checking out, a relatively quick and easy process took 5min alone. Probably won't be back at this location again, though I experience these issues at other locations to a lesser extent.
google avatar

Jon J.

Yelp
Walked for lunch on a whim and kicking myself for not having come by sooner. The 30+ person line should have been enough of a clue that I had come to the right place, but I'm not always quick to connect those dots.... Went with a brown rice base, grilled tofu (I know, I couldn't believe I ordered it either) with the kale salad and sweet potato sides. Walking back to my office, bowl in hand, my first though was "I'm going to be hungry in about 10 minutes". That myth was out to rest quickly. Everything was cooked well, flavorful and satisfying. This is a place I'll be coming back to often as the options are plentiful and everything looked good. Excellent lunch experience, and fairly priced.
google avatar

Charles K.

Yelp
I grown to accept that I like dig inn after disliking them years ago. However this particular location gave me some bad nostalgia. I came in a little after 11am before the lunch rush. I ordered as a normally do and got some items that I normally get like roasted kale, charred chicken, and farro w/ butternut squash. When I opened it up to eat it the first thing I noticed was that it wasnt hot. I ordered 5 hot items. 2 were luke warm 1 was room temp and 2 were cold. On top of that the flavors were off. The charred chicken and roasted kale really lacked that umph. Wasnt the worst meal I ever had. It just really didnt match up to the other Dig Inn's in NYC. :-(
google avatar

Karsen E.

Yelp
I was looking for a quick place to grab something to eat, and was put off by the unhealthy food options in the area and was about to settle for a cafe if one was open. I was drawn in to Dig inn by their logo out front, and curious as to what type of food was served. They serve soups, broth bowls and salad bowls. Clearly a tourist, the employee gave us a run down of the food, and offered any samples we wanted to try. I went with brown rice bowl with sweet potatoes, chicken thighs and broccoli. It was delicious! Everything had so much flavor, and was the perfect healthy and fresh meal I was looking for that night. I took a menu home to get ideas for making dinner at home, since everything looked delicious!
google avatar

Irene S.

Yelp
I looked at the menu, ordered what I wanted and was sorely disappointed. I requested the Chicken Avocado Ranch salad. No mention of mint in the description. First bite and I was disgusted by the taste of mint. Threw out what was a pricey salad. They need to list EVERYTHING they're putting in that salad. Could have been a disaster if it was someone/something with a food allergy.
google avatar

Patrick W.

Yelp
So I was pushed into Dig Inn by a very good friend on a random Saturday. "Just try it, it's good. It's like Chipotle". I was very reluctant because if you know me, I am not a fitness freak or a health fanatic. Oh? Egg whites and turkey for breakfast? Yeah, I'll go with the fried eggs and two sausage patties. Anyhow, I gave it a shot. I don't agree with some of the other reviews, you do not have to be into healthy food to enjoy this. The food here is high quality and also happens to be healthy. My first try was the spicy meatballs on top of classic brown rice, sides were string beans & roasted potatoes with the Sicilian roasted cauliflower. These meatballs are really good, it's lean meat with a good taste and a balanced amount of spice. Mix the sauce around in the brown rice and if you're a fat kid like me, you'll enjoy it. The string beans & roasted potatoes are very tasty, hearty but quite enjoyable. The cauliflower wasn't bad but I don't like raisins in my food, ever. I like raisins by themselves. The Lemon Herb Chicken here is really good actually and super lean. I recommend you get the Roasted Red Pepper sauce to go with it. The Wild Salmon Salad is also a unique alternative that not too many places offer. If you're a double protein type of person, you can also order the proteins as separate pints and get the grain or green separately. Cost-wise it's about the same as getting a plate but you'll get more protein if that's what you're looking for. If you're getting delivery, they are fast. Their web-based ordering is really simple and I have my payment info saved. I submit my order, email confirmation and food arrives 15-20 minutes later.

Melissa D.

Yelp
Delicious, healthy option for lunch. Got their cauliflower, sweet potato, and tofu on greens. It was a bit salty and I was very thirsty afterwards. However it is great portions, and I especially loved the sweet potato which was cooked great. I would go back because it is a great lunch option, but can get pricey.
google avatar

Lola K.

Yelp
Don't be afraid of the line! It moves fast. This is my go to healthy lunch place. Everything they have is super flavorful and in season. My favorite protein is chicken breast and wild salmon. Current favorite side is quiona collard greens and green beans. Also, I like their tarragon sauce and garlic aoili.
google avatar

Sebastian A.

Yelp
I can't believe this shit i ordered food and after an hour and a half I decided to go down and see what was up and try to get some free store credit when all of a sudden I noticed my order was still on the shelf honestly this place doesn't give a fuck about you you're better off going to your local deli. Edit; on top of everything this man told me on the phone that the order was out for delivery when it wasn't :( EDIT; THE FOOD WAS COLD AFTER I TOOK IT HOME :0;( EDIT; DigInn sent me free meal tokens to compensate for this experience. Thanks Diginn!

Yelp
I love Dig Inn. It's like one of the best healthy "fast food" chain in the city in my opinion, if you can even call it fast food. They have so many delicious healthy veggie and protein choices that I find myself struggling with which two sides to pick on the regular. Today I chose the farro as my base, which was my first time getting it, as I usually get quinoa. For my protein I decided on the charred chicken, and brussel sprouts and cauliflower as my two sides. It seems like they give more food now than they used to, which is a huge plus. I was actually really impressed with the chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, and the cauliflower is always a hit with me. The brussel sprouts on the other hand, I wasn't a fan of. They were a tad bit too salty for my liking, but other than that, I really enjoyed my healthy lunch and will continue coming here.

Yelp
Ordered this in for the team today and was very impressed. They do their own delivery that is fast and organized. Transported well and even separated by order name. I got the farro with chicken, squash, and sweet potatoes. You can't got wrong with that combo. I love sweet potatoes and the texture was soft but not but falling apart. You can get a very balanced meal here and not worry that your calorie intake is high. I ate the whole thing and didn't feel any guilt afterwards. Great for lunch and delivery!

Yelp
A very solid lunch spot, and I was really impressed with their intent to keep the meal healthy and filling. The charred chicken breast was fantastic and I'd highly recommend it, and the grilled sweet potatoes and spiced broccoli medley that I chose as my sides were great. Make sure you try the siracha dressing, and bring home any leftovers (the food keeps very well). I will certainly be back to try more of their bowl combinations.

Yelp
I had Dig Inn for the first time last week and I really enjoyed it! It is a change from all the unhealthy lunch options around my office. I got the salmon with pesto sauce, brown rice, broccoli, and squash. It was about $13 but it was a decent size, healthy, and delicious. I will definitely be going back to try some of the other healthy options! I went at noon and there wasn't a line yet but by 12:15 the line was out the door!
